🏠or the BT soulmate au!!!
Okay, I really love the scene I wrote for 🏠 and I'll include the soulmate one too.
🏠 - What Makes Me Happy
Buck couldn't keep his hands off Tommy as they stumbled into the house after date night. It was late, meaning all the lights were off except for the nightlights he’d set up so they wouldn’t have to fumble through the dark—or worry about waking anyone when their shifts didn’t line up.
Eddie must have already gone to bed, and while Buck liked the fact that they all lived together, tonight he really wanted to fuck Tommy. So he was relieved there was no delay with small talk before bed.
Tommy guided him through the house, pushing him up against the wall every now and then, kissing him hard, deep, like he needed him.
"I want you so badly," Buck murmured between kisses.
Tommy answered by steering them down the hallway toward their bedroom, hands gripping Buck's waist with purpose. Except, the moment he pushed the door open, he suddenly pulled back, a slight furrow appearing between his brows.
"What's wrong?" Buck whispered, but Tommy just shushed him, tilting his head toward the bed.
And Buck knew before he even looked.
He turned around, and sure enough, there was Eddie, curled up in their bed, fast asleep.
Buck let out a sigh, but there was no real frustration in it. Tommy’s hand came to rest gently on his lower back, warm and grounding.
"We could kick him out," Tommy whispered, though his tone suggested he wouldn’t have the heart to do it himself.
Buck didn’t either. If he was being honest, he was getting used to Eddie sleeping in their bed. And if he let himself think about it too long, he’d admit to wanting it.
Still, Buck had told himself this wasn’t permanent. Not when Christopher came back. When that happened, Eddie wouldn’t feel so lost, so untethered. He’d go back to sleeping in his own room.
That was the rational thought.
So why, even after months of telling himself that, did Buck still have a family-sized king mattress sitting in his online cart?
"No, that’s okay," he finally murmured. "He must’ve felt lonely while we were out."
Tommy hummed softly, wrapping his arms around Buck’s waist from behind and settling his chin on his shoulder as they both watched Eddie sleep. He was right in the middle of the bed, his head half on Tommy’s pillow, half on Buck’s, like he belonged there. Something about the sight made Buck’s heart squeeze.
He wished they could have this all the time.
"Maybe we should take him out with us next time," Tommy suggested, voice low.
Buck huffed out a quiet laugh. "Then it wouldn’t be date night."
"It can still be date night. Just… with an additional person."
Buck smiled to himself, loving how easy it was with Tommy—how he never felt threatened by Buck and Eddie’s friendship, how he always made space for Eddie without a second thought. It was probably the biggest reason their relationship worked so well.
"Maybe," Buck said, amused. "But I still need nights with just you and me. I don’t think Eddie would appreciate us dry-humping each other in front of him."
Tommy stifled his laugh against Buck’s shoulder. "I don’t know… maybe he’d like it."
Buck let out a quiet, startled laugh, then quickly covered his mouth when Eddie shifted.
"Come on, let’s get ready for bed," Tommy whispered, pressing a quick kiss to the back of Buck’s neck before stepping away. He shut the door behind them, and they slipped into the en-suite bathroom to change without disturbing Eddie.
When they returned, Eddie had turned over in his sleep, his back now facing the door—and Buck’s side of the bed.
Buck slid under the covers carefully, pressing up against Eddie’s back as he settled in. The shift in the mattress must have registered in Eddie’s sleepy mind because he stirred slightly, reaching for Buck’s arm and pulling it around himself. Without hesitation, Buck let him, curling in closer, his chest flush against Eddie’s back.
Buck exhaled, his breath ghosting over the back of Eddie’s neck, and felt the subtle way Eddie relaxed against him, like the warmth of another person—of him—was something he needed.
When Buck looked up, Tommy was standing by the bed, watching them with a soft expression. He didn’t say anything—just pulled back the covers and slipped in beside them.
Tommy hesitated for only a second before shifting closer, his front pressing against Eddie’s. With slow, careful movements, he reached out and slid an arm around Eddie’s waist, pulling him in, tucking him against his chest like it was second nature.
Eddie murmured something unintelligible in his sleep but didn’t resist. Instead, he nuzzled closer, his face pressing against Tommy’s collarbone, breath warm against his skin.
Buck, still curled around Eddie from behind, watched as Tommy settled in, his chin resting against the top of Eddie’s head. The sight made something deep in Buck’s chest ache—not with hesitation, but with certainty.
This felt natural.
This felt right.
Buck let his hand skim down Eddie’s arm, fingers brushing against Tommy’s where they rested at Eddie’s waist. Tommy’s hand turned slightly, like he was acknowledging the touch even as he closed his eyes.
Buck followed suit, letting his body melt into the warmth of the two men beside him, and with a small, sleepy hum of contentment from Eddie, they all drifted off.
⚡️- I Was Made to Love You
After the tsunami, the physical pain stopped coming as frequently, but his soulmate's emotions were bordering on concerning—especially in the following years. It made him wonder if his mother had been right, that they wouldn’t truly be happy until they found each other. The thought consumed him, made him desperate to search, but hope was slipping through his fingers. He was a few years shy of forty, and everyone agreed that if you hadn’t found your soulmate by thirty-five, your chances of ever meeting them dropped to nearly zero.
At least Tommy still had the hum under his skin. He may never get to meet his soulmate, but at least he’d always feel that connection. That’s what he thought, at least.
He was at Harbor, bored out of his mind since they’d been grounded—the electrical storm raging outside was too dangerous for them to be in the air. The hum was there, strong as ever, and his soulmate’s emotions had been mostly positive for the last couple of years. Then, out of nowhere, the hum was gone.
He felt nothing.
No pain. No emotions. Just a void, an absence of everything good, like someone had taken that bond and severed it.
Tommy had never felt anything like it—not since he first became aware of his soulmate’s existence. Panic set in fast, his heart hammering against his ribs. Why couldn’t he feel them? Why was there only emptiness? The first thought that crashed into him was the worst possible one.
His soulmate was dead.
No. No. That couldn’t be. Not when Tommy had never even met him.
His breath came in short, sharp gasps as his knees hit the floor, his hand gripping his chest like he could physically keep his heart from breaking apart. No, no, no. This couldn’t be how it ended. This couldn’t be happening. He wasn’t supposed to lose the one good thing in his life before he ever got to have it.
One minute passed. Then two. Then three.
And seventeen seconds later, the hum returned—along with unimaginable pain.
Relief warred with the agony. His soulmate was alive. Tommy’s vision darkened before he could process anything else.

I think I've shared a bit of this snippet before, but I've lost track -- hoping to work more on this and it can be my Febuwhump offering. More from the established bucktommy/secret buddietommy car crash fic!
Buck disappears around the corner, and Eddie feels like he’s going to start screaming. The reality of the situation comes crashing in. His stomach roils violently, but he forces the bile back down. There’s one thing he still has to do. He digs his phone out of his turnout coat pocket. Chimney notices, eyes widening as he reaches out, laying a hand on Eddie’s forearm. “You don’t have to do that. One of us can –” Eddie shrugs him off, shaking his head. “No,” he croaks. “No, I need to tell him.” Before anyone else can try to talk him out of it, Eddie walks off to find somewhere quiet to stand. He tucks himself away in a corner, then stares down at his phone. The urge to vomit intensifies. But he has to do this; if their positions were reversed, he’d want to hear it from Tommy. Steeling himself, he brings up Tommy’s number and dials. With each ring, the tension in Eddie’s body winds tighter and tighter. “Hey!” Tommy answers, bright and chipper. “Didn’t expect to hear from you so soon. How’s the shift going?” “Tommy…” Eddie gasps. Even though it’s only one word, he can hear how wretched his voice sounds. There’s a sharp inhale on the other end of the line. All the cheer is gone from Tommy’s voice when he asks, “What happened?” Eddie takes a breath, forcing himself to choke down the lump in his throat and speak clearly. “You need to come to First Presbyterian. Buck’s been in an accident.”

It was a fight that started it. A really stupid fight, if he's honest. He doesn't remember how it started or many details, but he remembers the gut punch of Evan walking out the door. He remembers the silence ringing in his ears after the door closed. He remembers the feeling of his heart pounding throughout his body, beating out of sync with its normal rhythm.
“I can handle this on my own!”
“But you don't have to, Tommy. I'm here. Let me be involved. Let me support you!”
“You don't need to -”
“Dammit, Tommy, I want to!”
“Why?!”
“Because I love you, you idiot!”
And then Evan had silently turned, grabbed his keys off the hook on the wall and walked out without another word.
Tommy had stood in his kitchen for a long while, frozen, unable to process what Evan had said or really any of what had happened. His phone ringing on the table is what finally pulled him out of it. He picked it up and answered without looking at the caller id.
“Hello?”
“Tommy?” a soft voice responded. “What's wrong?”
“Chris?” Tommy's brain flipped a switch and he went into first responder mode at the thickness of Chris's voice. He sounded like he'd been crying. “I'm fine. What's up? Is everything okay with you?”
It took Chris a moment to answer, and Tommy was already running through scenarios of what might be wrong and what he could do to fix it from 800 miles away. Hell, he'd commandeer another helicopter and go to the kid himself if that's what he needed, consequences be damned.
“I had another fight with Dad,” Chris said. “I was gonna call Buck, but his phone's off.”
That sent a pang through Tommy's chest. Evan didn't want to be reached. Probably least of all by Tommy himself.
One crisis at a time, Kinard.
“I'm so sorry, Chris. What can I do?”
There was another pause. It lasted long enough that Tommy actually checked to make sure the call hadn't dropped.
“Come get me?”
unsure what this is exactly but i like it so far, so here y'all go

Tease Tidbit Tuesday!
Slowly plugging away at the Disaster Date Fic! I'm really hoping to have it finished by the end of Jan, so all the good vibes would be much appreciated!
The cubical is empty. No bed, no doctors, no Eddie. Feeling slightly like he might throw up, Buck steps into the cubical and turns in a circle, trying to get an indication of where everyone might have gone. There’s writing on the whiteboard above where the bed would be, and he squints as he tries to decipher the hurried, typically illegible doctor’s handwriting. E. Diaz. 33 y/o male. Fall from height. ? NOFF, ? pelvic fracture, ? free fluid in abdomen. Diminished GCS. Buck knows enough medical speak to know none of those things are good, and that band of panic settles around his chest again. He has to find Eddie! He needs to lay eyes on him, to see him alive and breathing. The need aches deep in Buck’s marrow, making his chest hurt with the force of it. Every breath he takes as he stands, uselessly, in the empty cubicle feels like a breath wasted. Time wasted in which he could be with Eddie. He’s so wrapped up in his thoughts that he doesn’t hear the hurried footsteps behind him until there’s a hand on his elbow, and he jerks back, as though scalded. “Evan?” Tommy! Without hesitation, Buck grabs Tommy by the shoulder and hauls him close, clawing at his arms as he wraps him in a bone-crushing hug. Tommy holds Buck just as tightly, face smashed into Buck’s neck, his fingers digging into Buck’s back and shoulder blades. Buck can feel him trembling beneath his hands, and he pulls back, cupping Tommy’s face. “A-are you okay?”

how we doing y'all? 🩷💜💙 i for one am still going insane, i woke up at like 3:30 am just to sit up straight and whisper "buck kissed a boy" so that's how i'm doing anyway enjoy this lil bit of the buddie+tommy threesome fic!
“Buck, look at me,” He ordered softly, making Buck look up from where he had been staring at the table.
He met Eddie’s eyes and swallowed roughly. “Yeah?”
“Are you okay with this?” Eddie asked gently. “Because if you aren’t everything stops right now.”
“I’m— I’m okay with this,” Buck stumbled slightly but he was earnest. Because he was, okay with it that is. He wanted Eddie and honestly, he wanted Tommy too. If the two of them were down, then he didn’t see why they couldn’t all have fun. He’d had threesomes before— granted not ones where he was seriously emotionally invested in one of the people involved but there was a first time for everything!
“Okay,” Eddie murmured, inching closer so Buck could feel his breath fanning across his cheek, could smell the alcohol on his breath from his drink. None of them had had much to drink, just two rounds, Buck wasn’t even slightly tipsy. “Just, remember, you say the word and we stop.”
“Do you want to stop?” Buck asked, looking into Eddie’s eyes and searching for an answer. Maybe Eddie didn’t want to go through with this but didn’t want to be the person to say it.
Eddie swallowed harshly, his throat clicking. “No,” He got out, his voice hoarse. “I don’t want to stop, Buck. I want this.”
“Well, good, I want this too,” Buck replied, feeling only a little shaky. Was this really happening? He still couldn’t quite wrap his mind around it.

fanfic friday
this is a work in progress. it was supposed to be a one shot but i might just dive in and write a LOT about them all.
High School Reunion AU ft married!buddie, exes!bucktommy, and future!buddietommy
“Tommy?” Buck's voice is faint, but Eddie hears him and stops short in his conversation with Paula, the girl whose crush on him had been all over the school at the time. He turns his head towards the entrance where Buck's gaze is already set and time seems to stand still. To say Tommy Kinard hasn't changed in fifteen years would be a lie. The boy has become a man, an adonis with a robust build, features marked by time in the prettiest of ways, and a dazzling aura despite the seriousness of his face. He has become more beautiful than the two men could have imagined, more beautiful than beauty itself. The two men watch him, meticulously studying his movements, his ease, his physique. In silence, they feed off his image, each on his respective side. Offering each other the solitary pleasure of admiring the one who got away.

Buck falls in love with Eddie on a Tuesday.
There's nothing particularly special about the Tuesday. They'd certainly had more dramatic days over the course of their friendship— hell, they pulled a live grenade out of a man's leg within a day of knowing each other, and that was tame for them in retrospect.
Truly, if he was to look back, nothing about the day would stand out. Nothing except for the moment where he looked over at Eddie grinning widely at a joke Hen made, and some part of him went 'oh'.
He still has no idea how he missed it at the time.

“Can I ask you something personal?” Eddie asks. It’s pretty late—they’re driving back from the Muay Thai class Tommy took him to and it feels like a good a time as any to ask. He’s been thinking about this for days, weeks even. Maybe since he found out Buck and Tommy were dating. Like that fact opened up the floodgates for thoughts he’d never had before. “Sure,” Tommy says easily, eyes not leaving the road. And that's probably why now feels like the right time. With Tommy driving, he can't look over at him and judge him. “What is sex like with a guy?” he blurts out, not able to find any tactful way to put it. Tommy takes a beat to answer, but when he does, he asks, “What is sex like with a guy, or what is sex like with Evan?”

fuck it friday

in the true spirit of fuck it friday here's the lead up to a threesome
Fuck, it’s such a pretty mouth. Buck isn’t sure he’s ever thought that before or let himself think it anyway, but it’s true. So true that Buck hurts. Sore and tender from how much he wants.
A sheen casts over the pretty brown of Eddie’s eyes, nearly turning them pitch black. It’s a color, an emotion, a wanting, that Buck has never really seen in Eddie before. At least not in full force. And certainly not completely aimed at him and his boyfriend.
But, oh, it’s there. Bright as the day. Shimmering like starlight. Bruising and blunt like a punch.
“Buck,” Tommy whispers, the rasp of his voice such a physical thing that Buck trembles. “C’mon, baby, I know you want to. It’s okay.”
Buck licks his lips again. Sees Eddie follow the movement and inhale a breath that could cut anyone open. Shakes some more as he leans back against Tommy, the embrace of his strength enough to make Buck’s eyes roll to the back of his head but he fights it because he doesn't wanna look away from Eddie, doesn’t wanna miss anything.
He tries to open his mouth to ask yeah? desperate for reassurance and for more orders which sound lovely in the aroused, croaking tone of Tommy’s voice. But there’s nothing. No word or sound.
His brain stutters, unable to stimulate the correct synapses needed to form a verbal response. There’s an equation rattling around in his head, one he could solve if he was a little more clear-minded, but he can’t possible add anything up to equal anything he could understand right now.
No, right now, he just…wants. Fiercely. The edge of it sharp and silver like a blade. And he’s wielded that weapon many times in the past, knows how to handle it around Tommy, but with Eddie Buck is fumbling.

WIP Wednesday
From the BuddieTommy fic where Eddie doesn't know they're dating, is very confused, and keeps asking an increasingly incredulous Reddit for help. Brought to you by a discussion in the BuddieTommy discord. Tagged by @desert--moonchild and @samwellwinchesterthebrave
Buck, who was moving around Tommy’s kitchen so smoothly he may as well have been dancing.
“I usually just meal prep,” Tommy had said, watching him. “He came in and made it a home.”
“He does that,” Eddie said, thinking of his own kitchen arranged primarily to Buck’s specifications. “I couldn’t find my canned chili two weeks ago and had to call him because he knows my kitchen better than me.”
Tommy smiled.
“He’s beautiful.”
“I’m glad he found you,” Eddie said. “Hey, you have any bitters? I want to try making an old fashioned.”
“Getting into bartending now?” Buck asked, cutting off whatever Tommy was about to say.
“No. I was just reading recipes online.”
“Did you know that the old-fashioned originally required you to specify which liquor? It was just a way to say you wanted a cocktail with sugar and bitters versus the fancier ones that were just coming into fashion.”
Tommy hummed, standing up to switch the rice maker on.
“I did not,” Eddie said.
Tommy walked towards the liquor cabinet. He stopped halfway through the kitchen to spin Buck into a kiss, making him laugh.

Make Me Write
tagged by @ambernotember—Thank you so much! I've never done this before so I'm scared 🫣 (Warning, brevity is not my strong suit. And I'm sorry for the abysmal amount of Post-Break up fics. I just love the angst 😭) I have a BUNCH of WIP's so here we go:
🤕 BuddieTommy: Buck’s injury brings Eddie’s love for him into sharp focus. Tommy, instead of being jealous, makes sure Eddie is included—leading to something more.
⏳ BuckTommy: After their breakup, Tommy watches a building collapse on Buck. For the next 72 hours, Buck fights to survive while Tommy fights to find him.
🐺 BuckTommy Shifter AU: Fated mates with a twist—Tommy stays with the 118, but Buck washes out of the academy, changing everything.
⚡ BuckTommy Soulmate AU
🤲 BuckTommy: Post-breakup, post-Eddie leaving, Buck ends up in the hospital after a rough night. Tommy finds him, an argument ensues, and Buck shuts down.
🍼 BuckTommy: Post-breakup. When a baby is surrendered to the firehouse, Buck bonds with them in a way that changes everything—enough to apply for emergency fostering.
🤕 BuddieTommy: After a bad call, Buck clings to Eddie. Tommy takes care of them both and wonders if there could be something more between the three of them.
❓ BuckTommy: Post-breakup. Tommy wakes up in the hospital with no memory of his life. Buck is the only one who can help him remember—even if it means falling in love all over again.
🥝 BuckTommy MPreg: Buck hides his pregnancy post-breakup. When he collapses on a call, Tommy is there, but Buck refuses to tell him the truth—until he has no other choice.
❤️🩹 BuckTommy Different First Meeting AU: Before LA and even Peru, Buck meets a firefighter on vacation for a night he never forgot. Years later, that same firefighter helps the 118 when they're shortstaffed. Buck never forgot him but Tommy seemed to have no recollection of the night that changed Buck's life.
🫃 BuckTommy MPreg AU: Buck never tells Tommy about the baby, but a fire at his apartment forces his hand—and changes everything.
🏔️ BuckTommy: Post-breakup and post-Eddie leaving, Buck realizes he's slipping back into old habits. A 10-day retreat in Idaho seems like the solution—until he finds out Tommy is there too.
🏠 BuddieTommy: After his talk with the priest, Eddie decides what he wants—Buck and Tommy. So he proposes they all buy a house together.
Let me know which one you'd like to read more about 💕
I don't know anyone in the fandom so I'm not sure who to tag... So if you see this, feel free to throw your hat in? 🫣

WIP Wednesday
Tagged recently by many lovely people, and I finally have something I don't absolutely hate! Yay!
(I don't know why writing has been like pulling teeth recently, but I'm still plodding along. Maybe it'll be done one day...)
Eddie trails off suddenly. His face goes slack and the coffee cup slips from his fingers, hitting the floor and splattering everywhere. “Whoa!” Tommy jerks away from the mess. “What –?” But Eddie’s not looking at him. His wide eyes are fixed on something behind Tommy. Tommy whips his head around. Evan’s eyes are open. Barely – just tiny slivers of blue peeking out from under heavy eyelids – but it’s all Tommy’s been desperate to see for days. He surges forward, grabbing Evan’s hand between his own and trying not to squeeze too tightly, at the same time that Eddie scrambles for the nurse call button.

JAMES JAMES JAMES HERES AN OFFICIAL ASKING *BEGGING* YOU TO WRITE YOUR BUDDIETOMMY/EDDIETOMMY FIC THAT YOURE WXCITED FOR AND NOW YOU HAVE TO WRITE ITS THE LAW. IDK WHAT EMOJI IT WAS IF IT WAS EVEN ONE BUT 🧗♂️🧗♂️🧗♂️🧗♂️🧗♂️🧗♂️🧗♂️🧗♂️🧗♂️🧗♂️🧗♂️🧗♂️🧗♂️🧗♂️🧗♂️🧗♂️🧗♂️🧗♂️🧗♂️🧗♂️
THATS 60 SENTENCES THAT YOU HAVE TO WRITE NOW. YOU GOT THIS BABY YOURE GONNA DO SO GOOD YOURE GONNA WRITE IT RIGHT? 😘😘😘
Here’s my favourite picture of Eddie Diaz for motivation 💜
I would do anything for Eddie Diaz, just you watch. LOOK AT HIM. Also I wrote 1.5k for this in one sitting, the beans are SO BACK!
Though he’ll never admit it, looking at Tommy is one of his favourite things to do.
If you asked an outsider, they would probably say that Buck’s the most attractive out of the three them, with his boyish good looks, bright blue eyes and bulging muscles beneath the obscenely tight shirts he wears. He’s got the cutest dimples in his cheeks that pop out whenever he’s got that mischievous smile on his face, and that alone regularly makes Eddie’s knees turn to jelly.
Tommy though. Tommy is handsome in an almost classical, old-timey Hollywood kind of way. Where Buck is softness and fuzzy around the edges, Tommy is all sharpness and angles. His cheekbones are so pronounced that Eddie often marvels that he doesn’t cut a finger when he caresses them. The cleft in his chin is a perfect shape, and Eddie’s thumb nestles in it like it was fit to size when he kisses Tommy senseless.
And now, looking at Tommy with the wind through his hair, a smile on his face, and a pale orange tank top that gives Eddie just the slightest hint of a nipple? Eddie wants to pull the car over and ride Tommy until he can feel him in the back of his throat.
He won’t do that though – they’ve just given the Chevelle a new leather interior and he’ll be damned if he’s going to ruin it already.
The drive to Point Dume is stunning. The sun glints off the ocean like light on a sapphire, blue and sparkling as the waves crash against the shore, and the high cliff faces on their right are large and imposing, making Eddie feel small.
The beach houses along the coast are large and luxurious – and will probably be non-existent in a few years if climate change has anything to say about it – and Eddie and Tommy entertain themselves by pointing out what style of architecture they’d look for if they ever retired to the seaside. Tommy likes the classical, almost ramshackle style of the older beach houses, whereas Eddie’s drawn to the sleek lines and metal beams of the more modern styles.
Not that it matters anyways, because on their firefighter’s salaries they’re lucky they can even afford to rent a place big enough for them and Chris, but it’s always fun to dream.
Tommy pulls over in Malibu and they each get an ice cream cone, leaning against the hood of the car while they eat.
Eddie’s not usually one for public displays of affection, usually seeing them as tacky, but he leans into Tommy’s side, humming as his boyfriend slings an arm around his shoulders, pulling him closer.
“Everything okay?” Tommy asks as he presses a kiss to the crown of Eddie’s head.
“Yeah,” Eddie hums, tucking his head under Tommy’s chin. “Just like being here with you.”
“You’re so sappy today, what’s gotten into you?” Tommy laughs.
It’s because I love you. I love you and I’m here with you and it’s perfect.
The words stick in Eddie’s throat, unable to come out. He’s been thinking them for a while now, but no matter how hard he tries, the moment never feels right to say them to Tommy. With Buck, they fell out of him as easy as could be. Like it was second nature, something he’d kept inside him for years and was finally able to say them aloud. But for some reason, Eddie feels like the first time he says it to Tommy needs to be on some grand occasion, with fireworks in the background and Buck watching as his boyfriends declare their love for one another.
Maybe, after today, they’ll finally break free from Eddie’s mouth.
Instead, Eddie pokes Tommy in the side. “Am I not allowed to show affection for you once in a while?”
“Of course you are,” Tommy replies, expertly dodging the nip Eddie aimed at Tommy’s neck. So, he’s got a bit of an oral fixation? Sue him. “I’m not complaining.”
Eddie stretches up to kiss Tommy’s cheek, before darting forward and taking a chunk out of Tommy’s ice cream. He wrinkles his nose in distaste as the bitterly cold flavour of mint explodes in his mouth and lets out an exaggerated gag.
“You’re an idiot,” Tommy laughs as Eddie takes a few hurried licks of his own ice cream, keen to replace the mint with something much more agreeable. “What did you do that for?”
“I forgot you like to eat frozen toothpaste,” Eddie grumbles in response. He lets out a quiet moan of appreciation as the softer, warmer flavour of rum and raisin coats his tongue.
“Hey, it’s not my fault you don’t appreciate the finer things in life.”
“I appreciate you and Buck, don’t I? I’d say that’s pretty good taste.”
Tommy snorts, reeling Eddie in for a breathtaking kiss. He’s minty and cold, his tongue sweeping across Eddie’s lips, making them tingle in its wake. A groan rumbles low in Eddie’s chest as Tommy kisses him, his hand firm against Eddie’s back.
“Touché, Mr. Diaz,” Tommy murmurs as he pulls away. “Sassy little shit that you are.”
Eddie grins and blows Tommy a kiss. He finishes the last of his ice cream in a few hasty bites, before flopping back into the passenger seat of the Chevelle.
“Come on, if we don’t send Buck a photo of the cove in the next few minutes, he’s going to think we’ve crashed and go frantic.”
Tommy snorts, knowing Eddie’s not far from the truth, and climbs back into the driver’s seat. There’s a soft look on his face as he gives Eddie a quick kiss before throwing the car into gear, and it makes Eddie feel as though he’s been filled with hot air.
The drive through the exorbitant neighbourhood that is Point Dume is probably one of Eddie’s favourites that he’s done with Tommy.
They probably look like a couple of weirdos as they cruise slowly past the lavish mansions, making pointed comments about the designs and the landscaping. Tommy even boldly announces at one point that if it were up to him, decorative cacti would be illegal. Eddie giggles as Tommy tells him about the times he was drunk as a teenager and had repeatedly fallen into the cactus outside his grandparents’ home. It had taken three separate occasions of his grandmother picking prickles out of his asscheeks before they’d taken Tommy aside and asked him to cut back on his drinking – or to at least watch where he was going if he was going to sneak back in.

started working on my Buddie to Buddietommy mutual adultery fic. Its not set in any particular season, drawing from stuff across the entire show as I please, but the relevant bit here is that Buck and Eddie are dating, Buck has just started physical therapy for his leg after the bombing, and Tommy's his therapist.
This part is just Bucktommy, its Buck's first appointment.
Somewhat nsfw, nothing explicit. I'd say M rated (not yet sure if the fic on the whole will be explicit)
It wasn't going to be a problem. Buck had a boyfriend, a hot boyfriend who he had lots of sex with. Tommy might be an incredibly attractive man, but he wasn't Buck's boyfriend. So there wasn't going to be a problem.
Buck kept repeating that in his head as the appointment started, with Tommy going over Buck's history. The injury that put him here in the first place, and any previous injuries that might affect recovery. The doctor's notes. Everything.
He found his mind drifting as the discussion went on, Tommy already had all this information, and had clearly gone over it already. He was just double checking, which gave Buck lots of time to look around the room and the exercise equipment it would be a while before he could even think about using.
Buck's sight eventually fell back on Tommy, reading glasses perched on his nose, brilliant blue eyes magnified behind the glass. His gaze focused on the doctor's report in front of him, the space between his eyebrows wrinkled, and the laugh lines at the corner of his eyes deepened, his hair was starting to gray at the edges, strands of silver amidst the darker curls.
[transition into the physical therapy portion that I can't get for the life of me]
Once the appointment actually started, Buck found himself faced with the next issue. Not a problem, it wasn't a problem He didn't have a problem. Why would he have a problem, he had a boyfriend. Tommy might be an attractive man, but there were lots of attractive men in the world. Most of the men Buck worked with were attractive men. Buck could handle attractive men.
Tommy wasn't just an attractive man.
Tommy, in addition to being an incredibly attractive man, with muscles that stretched the fabric of his pullover like it was spandex, a voice gentle but firm — and smooth as butter — while he guided Buck through the exercises, and a cleft chin visible beneath carefully groomed salt-and-pepper stubble. In addition to all that, Tommy was patient. Carefully demonstrating what he wanted Buck to do when he wasn't understanding it, first by doing it himself — giving Buck an excellent look at his truly delightful looking behind — and then by guiding Buck's movements directly when he still had trouble grasping it.
Tommy, meanwhile, did not have a difficult time grasping Buck's leg. In addition to having hands that dwarfed any part of Buck's body they touched; the hands were warm; their heat sinking down to Buck's bones and resting there. The grip firm; like an iron vice that couldn't be broken when wrapped around his leg. His obscenely large arms were not just for show, Tommy didn't even seem to notice Buck's initial resistance when he tried to move the leg into position, biceps swelling as he held Buck in place.
"How's that feel?" Tommy asked, eyes focused on Buck, looking for any sign the position was too much for his injured leg. His eyes weren't completely blue, Buck thought as he looked up into Tommy's gaze. One of them was half green: sectoral heterochromia.
"Evan?" Buck blinked back to attention, his mind rewinding to Tommy's question.
"Good. a bit of strain, but not too painful." Buck managed to say, instead of anything embarrassingly horny. Like wanting Tommy to hold his other leg in the same position. Or for him to wrap those hands arms around Buck's throat and flex until Buck passed out.
"Excellent. We're going to hold your leg in this position, and i want you to move your foot back and forth — like that, yes. You're doing excellent, Evan." Tommy's words drew buck out of his spiraling thought, and then tossed him back into the depths. Even deeper then before.
Maybe Buck did have a problem. Just a little bit. Because having this walking wet dream of a man loom over him, holding him down and praise him. It was starting to go to his head. And his dick. His very interested dick. His very interested dick which was currently inside his tightest workout shorts, and therefore was very noticeable when even slightly hard.
And right now, Buck was more than slightly hard.

So Forgive Us If We Hover Close (a buddietommy chapter 3)
This was supposed to be a one-shot as @queermccoy's Christmas gift but, you know, peer pressure and fandom obsession ❤️ I'm wishing you all BuddieTommy fans a happy new year!! And I'm also wishing it to non BuddieTommy fans but, i'm not sure you'll see it lmao.
If Eddie had been asked back in high school what his life would be like, there's no way he'd have been able to describe what he has now. He'd probably have replied that he would move back to Texas to be with his parents, take over his uncle's ranch, find a nice girl and start a very traditional household. He would have omitted the voice in his head repeating that he didn't give a damn about girls, and that he always hated the family ranch. He wouldn't have admitted to falling in love with California freedom, let alone the male form. Let alone Tommy's. How long did he think he could fit into the skin of the man he never wanted to be? A creature fabricated to please others. A character he'd been willing to play until the curtain came down on a pitiful, false life. A role learned from scratch, copied from the silhouettes of all the men he'd met since childhood, models chosen for him. Falling in love with Tommy then made him realize that he could never quite fit into the boxes that had been prepared for him. Falling in love with Buck showed him that life is much better outside of them anyway. He wished his old friend had received the same gift.

WIP Wednesday!
tagged by so many lovelies! @daffi-990, @bidisasterbuckdiaz, @fortheloveofbuddie, @hoodie-buck, @devirnis, @wikiangela, @exhuastedpigeon, @neverevan
sooooo i just started a new wip 🙊 sorry to everyone who wants me to work on an existing wip, this trailer just really took my brain by storm so have the beginning of a buddie+tommy threesome<3
If you had told Buck that one night he would be sandwiched between his best friend and their new-ish sort-of coworker, he wouldn’t have believed you. But there he was, Tommy’s heat pressing in on his left while Eddie’s pressed against him from the right. They had been flirting all night— something about Tommy being there making it easier for Buck to let himself go and let himself flirt with Eddie. Tommy’s dark eyes flicking between the two of them, interest blazing and a smirk playing on his lips. He knew. Tommy knew that Buck was in love with Eddie and he was too scared to make a move on his own. Buck hadn’t even had to tell him, he’d just been able to see it because Buck was so obvious.
Well, obvious to everyone who wasn’t Eddie.
But now, with Eddie’s warmth bleeding through his jeans and soaking into his skin, he thought maybe he had a chance. If nothing else, maybe the three of them could have some fun and Buck could pretend that it didn’t make his heart splinter not to have Eddie the way he wanted him.
