Honestly I doubt he’s the only one in congress that feels like this, he’s just the only one dumb/arrogant enough to say it

Kyle Mantyla at RWW (04.26.2024):
Rick Wiles is a deeply antisemitic right-wing conspiracy theorist and End Times broadcaster who has dedicated countless episodes of his “TruNews” programs to railing against Israel and Jews. Now, Wiles is running for Congress. Wiles joined fellow antisemitic right-wing conspiracy theorist Stew Peters on “The Stew Peters Show” last night to say that he decided to run for office because he was outraged by seeing Republican Rep. Brian Mast of Florida, in whose district Wiles lives, appear on Capitol Hill wearing the uniform from his service in the Israeli Defense Forces.
Far-right antisemite Rick Wiles is running for Congress in #FL18 in the GOP Primary against incumbent Rep. Brian Mast.

Some US lawmakers are rallying around conservative commentator Ryan Girdusky after CNN banned him from the network for taking a jab at anti-Israel journalist Mehdi Hasan on Monday.
Reps. Brian Mast (R-FL) and Darrell Issa (R-CA) both took to X/Twitter to defend Girdusky, praising his performance and arguing that CNN should have never platformed Hasan in the first place.
“[Hasan] spews antisemitism every day and calls Trump supporters Nazis, but God forbid anyone make a joke in his presence. He and CNN got triggered worse by a beeper than all of Hezbollah,” Mast posted. “CNN should issue an apology for rotting its viewers’ brains by having antisemitic morons like [ Hasan] on the air.”
Issa also weighed in, praising Girdusky and claiming that his presence made the program worth watching.
“It wasn’t easy, but I watched some CNN tonight. Thought [Girdusky] brought a lot to the program,” Issa wrote.
Monday, during an episode of “CNN NewsNight,” Hasan and Girdusky got into a contentious  debate regarding Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden on Sunday. While condemning the rhetoric shared by the speakers of the rally, Hasan compared supporters of Trump to “Nazis.”
Girdusky cautioned Hasan to tone down his rhetoric toward Trump supporters, noting that the pundit has been labeled an “antisemite” by many of his critics. Hasan responded that he’s “a supporter of the Palestinians, so [he’s] used to it.” Girdusky retorted that he hopes Hasan’s “beeper doesn’t go off,” a reference to the thousands of pagers and other communications devices used by members of the Iran-backed terrorist organization Hezbollah that exploded across Lebanon last month.
The panel discussion immediately deteriorated into chaos, and Girdusky was asked to leave the show by moderator Abby Phillips. CNN subsequently issued a statement condemning Girdusky for “racism” and vowing never to allow him on the network in the future.
Some commentators took to social media to question why CNN condemned Girdusky for making a joke about Hezbollah but not Hasan for insinuating that Trump supporters are Nazis.
Hasan, a prominent anti-Israel critic, has come under fire for having alleged ties to Qatar. Zeteo, Hasan’s new media startup, has produced an unremitting barrage of anti-Israel content, accusing the Jewish state of committing “genocide” against Palestinians.

Members of Codepink, a feminist anti-war group, confronted Mast on Tuesday, with one accusing the lawmaker of being “heartless.” “You haven’t seen the pictures of all the babies being killed?” Mast is asked in footage of the incident. “These are not innocent Palestinian civilians,” he replies. Mast, who has previously volunteered with the Israeli military and wore an IDF uniform around the Capitol in October, has previously called for a moratorium on all U.S. aid to Gaza and the West Bank. According Gaza’s Hamas-run health ministry, the vast majority of the more than 26,000 people killed in the enclave since the war began are women and children. Israel launched its massive operation in response to the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attacks, which killed 1,200 people, according to Israeli figures. U.N. Emergency Relief Coordinator Martin Griffiths on Thursday said the majority of Gaza’s housing units have either been destroyed or damaged, with three-quarters of the population now displaced. In the Codepink video, one activist says the destruction in Gaza is worse than that inflicted on Dresden during World War II. “And there’s more infrastructure that needs to be destroyed,” Mast said.

Former US Army staff sergeant, now US Representative, Brian Mast apparently didn't pay any attention to either his history classes growing up or to the war-crimes training he was required to take. Or else he'd know that the allies didn't destroy all of Germany, nor did we kill civilians for not having personally overthrown the Nazis. He might even remember that doing that would have been called collective punishment, which is even in the absence of other violations a crime against humanity.
Or maybe he does remember all that training, but is one of those sadly-common moral imbeciles who think that war crimes aren't war crimes when they're done by us or our allies, the "good guys"; that war crimes aren't war crimes when they're done to people we're prejudiced against, y'know, the "bad guys."
"Never again" isn't supposed to mean "next time it's our turn."

Meet the real Brian Mast.
In a Facebook post made by Rocco LeDonni on February 23, 2009; now Congressman Brian Mast comments “i hope you hook up with at least fifteen 15-year-olds over there… it's legal there right.”

If a congressman did this with any other country, it would be treason. Our politicians should be loyal to our country, first and foremost. But I guess the United States of Israel and its government is for sale to the highest bidder…
