If you haven't read "Hank Voight and the Crackhead Detective," now is the time to jump into this series from the beginning - Follow Hank, Trudy, Al and their misadventures from their academy and beat days. Then, see how their lives intertwine with that of Katelyn Meyers, leading up to the story that started it all, as well as the fate of these characters after that story ends. :)

The universe around the story that started it all - "Hank Voight and the Crackhead Detective."

This universe will dive into headcanon of the "three shits" [Trudy Platt, Henry Voight, Alvin Olinsky] and their early (mis)adventures together. Their past intertwines closely with that of the original "crackhead detective," Katelyn Meyers.

Katelyn herself has her own story to tell - how she came to be the "crackhead detective" and why it's so important to her that she sticks with Trudy, Hank and Al, even after the "torture" is over. She is found in all sorts of situations, both before and after the original story. She falls in love with Adam Ruzek and the two create a life together, despite hardships that are thrown their way.

This story is a comprehensive timeline of the lives of these characters, but not only that, it is a story of hope, that your life can be something more than what is written in the stars. Your life isn't defined by the cards you're dealt - it's how you play those cards that matters the most.
