modern!mizu & u are already dating in this scenario

but every other week would be a date night

it didn’t matter if it was a simple or extravagant date

it was always a designated time to catch up, spend quality time together, and experience new things

even with the busyness of college and classes and homework, it was still a night to look forward to

this upcoming friday was a night at the arcade

u had been there with friends before but it had been a couple months since ur last visit

it was also mizu’s first time going to the arcade w u as a date

u had already talked ab the games u wanted to try together such as the mario kart, a few shooting games, airhockey

modern!mizu would def let her competitive side come out with some games

she already gets competitive with taigen when it comes to sports

she totally doesnt rock his shit in basketball

if she’s against you, she’ll go easy on you

doesn’t mean she won’t back down from a fight

You and Mizu were hand in hand, checking out the games available at the arcade. Going down one of the aisles, you found yourselves at the some of the newer arcade games. Skimming at some of them, you hear a familiar sound.

It was soon followed with a grunt and fighting groans. You turn back to find a Super Street Fighter game, patiently waiting to be played. Your eyes widen as they found the perfect challenge.

You playfully tugged at Mizu’s hand, pointing at the retro machine.

“I bet I can beat you at the Street Fighter.” you said, lightly jabbing at her competitive spirit. You knew she would put her all in it. However, you wondered of its limit.

Mizu glanced at you, and then looked back to spot the machine. Her eyes ignited, seeing the challenge put right in front of her by her

if he wasn’t welding or fixing up someone’s bike, he was definitely spending his time grinding on the game

so modern!mizu end up playing games with him bc he got sick and tired of the computer bots

Player 2 Wins blinks again on the screen while her character, Ryu, celebrates another round of victory. You slowly turn to face Mizu to find a grin forming on her face.

“Wanna go again, baby?”, she taunts, hugging your hips closer to her.

You blankly stare into her eyes, your orbs empty from defeat. Mizu already knew your answer.

“Let’s find one we can both do.”, she said as she gave you a quick peck on the cheek. Her arm wrapped around your shoulder, beginning your hunt for the next game to win together.

there was no room on the bed, the bookshelves, the desk, the couch

mizu even brought a couple plushies back home but her old man started to complain about mizu and u coming by just to drop off plushies and not see him

(he likes the plushies but bro is alone with his craft and misses his girl sometimes)

if u eyed any specific prize, modern!mizu would stop for nothing to earn it for u

at the arcade, u eyed a snoopy plushie, stuck in a claw game (for a little too long) and pouted at how cute it was

he had a puffer and a lil hat

mizu immediately saw ur reaction and locked in

Mizu’s arm slides off your shoulder. You look back, hoping to find the missing arm. No arm, no Mizu.

Instead, you find her striding over to the claw machine you just stared at with a goal in mind. Snoopy was coming with you, one way or another. The thought of Snoopy being in your arms was nice, but there was no way she was going to get it.

First off, your bedroom was already filled with plushies. Peace and love to all of them. They were practically your babies. However, every flat surface or shelf had a plushie. Every. Single. Surface.

The bed was crowded as well. No way there would be space for another plushie. There was also no way that she would go back home to drop off more plushies. Eiji was at his limit with the amount she dropped off during the last time.

Secondly, she had already spent so much money trying to get twinning plushies for the both of you. Her poor credit card was taking hit after hit after hit. Mizu drastically failed after every attempt and you had to basically pull her away from the machine after her 11th time.

Third of all, the both of you were getting ready to leave the arcade for dinner. After getting demolished by Mizu 5 rounds in a row at Super Street Fighter, you didn't have much energy in you to play more games.

But once Mizu gets set on something, it's hard to pull her away from it. It was already difficult separating her from her failed claw games earlier. You just decided to accept the outcomes of this claw machine this time around.

On the other hand, Mizu was in the zone. She studied the position of the plushie, focusing on how far back Snoopy sat. She slid the arcade card, starting her future attempts to retrieve the plushie. She bit the inside of her cheek as her hand carefully held the joystick. The machine jingled, starting its countdown.

Mizu took a deep breath, closing her eyes.

Mizu opens her eyes, pushing the joystick to the right in hopes of aligning the claw with Snoopy. She then pushes the joystick forward, nudging it as it gains proximity to the dog plushie.

The claw seemed right above Snoopy. Although it made you satisfied, Mizu couldn't agree. Something felt off.

She nudged the joystick to the left once.

Still unsatisfied, she pushed the claw back. Her eyes squinted, hoping to gain a clearer view of the claw and its alignment.

She continues to stare at the placement, studying it. Almost watching it like prey.

You watch from behind as you hear the faint sounds of laughing and other arcade games being played go off. In front of you is complete silence and concentration.

Mizu nudges the joystick forward.

She gets closer to the game. At this point, her face is practically smudging her view.

She nudges the joystick to the right once again. She sees the claw fully aligned with the plushie.

You watch as her right hand is sitting on top of the collect button. Her fingers are so close to pushing it, practically edging the top of the button. They're ready to take the chance yet her hands refuse to commit.

She nudges the joystick one more time, bringing it slightly forward.

You come up next to her, watching the claw machine slowly descend down to the gigantic pile of plushies, a mix of Snoopy merchandise. Yet only one got your heart.

The claw extends, closing in on the plushie you stared at earlier. Its thin, metal arms wrap around Snoopy's head. It tightened its grip, securing Snoopy in the arm.

You watch the plushie slowly ascend. The both of you carefully watch the claw bring the prize. As the claw continued its journey to the drop-off corner, it slightly swung back and forth. You grab Mizu's right hand, holding it in anticipation and fear. She squeezes it once.

You look up to meet her gaze only to find a reassuring smile. You mirror her, giving her one back. You hear a small thud below. Mizu bends down to find your beloved Snoopy, handing him to you.

Your eyes widen. Snoopy was much cuter up close, especially with his little hat and baby blue puffer jacket. Looking up, you spot a proud Mizu. You simply get closer to her and give her a sweet kiss on the lips.

"Thank you, baby."

"Of course," she answers. "Anything for you, my dear."

She backs away and extends her hand out: an invitation to lunch.

You smile, accepting the invitation. With intertwined hands, you leave the arcade with another plushie in hand.

do seeker sizes reflect the size of whatever jet they scan?

all bot sizes are reflected in their alt mode; bots can only take on alt-mode in their size class, so a bot with a fighter jet or truck alt would be much larger than a bot who turns into a car or a stunt plane. Mass displacement is not a thing in synergized. The size of a bot is always around the size of their alt-mode,

Bot sizes are generally sectioned into size ranges. Standards are not an exact height or weight but a vague general size range that is used as an indication of what size alt-mode they can take on. If a bot says their standard one, it means they could probably easily take on a normal car alts, stunt plane alt, or a smaller boat alt

I see we’re just reposting things without sources for some reason?? I’m going to go out on a limb here and say it’s because the tweet used the magic word “Zionist” which is taken to be “irredeemably evil and vile person”. Inside this article the allegedly pro-Palestine posts on social media were fucking videos of the Hamas on October 7th. Startober Day 2: Legacy

Gem was a sword fighter. She was a rather good one too, taking on some of the best in the galaxy. She often competed in tournaments for money, or took on the occasional bounty when money was sparse. It wasn’t an honest living, but at least it paid the bills. But one of the consequences of not having an honest living is one tends to get involved with some… shady figures. And several of these shady figures seemed to take an interest in Gem. She had made a deal with them for more money than she had ever won from any other job, but things didn’t exactly go as planned. And that was why Gem’s right arm now appeared to be made of the void itself, its inky swirls crawling up her harm and embedding themselves into her skin.

Gem gripped her sword in her left hand, slashing with all the coordination she could muster. The fighting simulation bot (nicknamed Sunny by her roommate) attacked in turn in that same predictable pattern that Gem should have mastered at this point. But with her left hand, Gem’s coordination was sloppy at best. 

She tried to parry, but her form was off.

Wham!

She tried to stab, but she didn’t keep her guard up.

Wham!

Sunny had its sword pointed at Gem’s chest, then it returned to a neutral position. “Better luck next time,” It said in its robotic voice. 

“Ugh, tell me about it,” Gem sighed, setting down her sword and grabbing a quick drink of water. After a moment, Gem found herself staring intently at her sword, lying motionless on the ground beside her. Things had gone downhill ever since she had made that deal with those mysterious entities. Now that her right arm was pretty much useless, her days of tournament competitions were long over. The money that the entities had given her helped a little, but it was starting to dwindle. Soon enough, she wouldn’t be able to pay her half of the rent, and then what would happen? 

Even though she knew it wouldn’t work, she tried to pick up her sword with her right hand. But no matter how much she strained, her arm couldn’t bear the sword’s weight, and it would slip right out of her hand. She just sighed and picked up the sword with her left hand, priming Sunny back up for another round.

Parry.

Wham!

Stab.

Wham!

Survive. Survive. Survive.

Wham! Wham! Wham!

Eventually, Gem ran out of patience. She threw caution to the wind and swung wildly with her right arm, aiming directly for Sunny’s head. 

(Did she notice how the surface of her arm rippled and swirled, its inky surface spiraling out like tendrils? Did she notice how it sparkled like it had been embedded with stars?)

Gem barely felt the impact of the punch, but the aftermath was abysmal. She had utterly demolished Sunny, leaving a massive crater in the side of its head. She looked at her right hand in astonishment, and noticed that a second, phantom-like hand, much larger than her own, surrounded her arm. 

“Gem? Whatcha-” Pearl stopped in her tracks a few feet from the door, witnessing the damage Gem had done.

“Oh, hey, Pearl!” Gem said, trying to divert Pearl’s attention. “How’s the search for your friend going?”

“Still no leads yet. But I see that you’ve been busy.”

“Yeah… sorry about that. I don’t know what came over me, to be honest.”

“That’s fine! I can fix Sunny later. Though I’m not sure what I’m gonna tell Sausage…”

Gem glanced at her arm again. The phantom arm was gone, and the tiny sparkles were beginning to dim. She wasn’t sure if her sword fighting skills would ever be the same again, but maybe something new was in store for her.

Maybe she would be okay.

Secret legacy pt. 2

Chapter 9

“This, is, awesome!” Robby cheered as he and Twitch soared through the trees. After prying the dead squirrel out of Twitch’s mouth, Twitch wanted to test out her new alt mode. Robby was a little nervous and was still mad about Twitch’s murder plan but he’ll give Twitch one last chance and it was worth it . Twitch dodged the tiny branches that blocked her path, soaring through like a skilled air fighter. Nothing was going to stop Robby and Twitch from having fun. Expect Robby getting smacked by a giant tree branch.

Robby tumbled on some branches before landing face first on the ground. Twitch came to Robby’s aid. Was he okay? Was he hurt? Was he dead?! Twitch’s thoughts spiraled like a tornado in her head. Then all of the sudden Robby started to laugh like this was a joke. Then, Twitch started to laugh. Robby was okay, and it was accident after all so what’s the -

“HOW DARE!”

A painful spike went through her body. Her joints lock like a statue.

“YOU HURT ONE OF MY CHOSEN ONES, YOU WILL PAY DEARLY.”

The pain slid down to her spark like a snake wrapped around its prey. Slowly squeezing the life out from its body. Twitch wanted to end. It felt like her body was on fire, melting, and freezing all at the same time. She wanted Robby to make it stop she wanted to cry.

“YOU WERE MADE TO OBEY, SO OBEY.”

Robby watched in horror as Twitch collapsed on the ground, wheezing as if she was struggling to breathe. Robby ran to her trying to help. What could he even do? He can’t call for help because if he did, Twitch would be taken away. But he couldn’t leave Twitch here to suffer. Cybertronians don’t need oxygen to breathe right? They lived in space for millions of years. But Twitch wasn’t a Cybertronian, she was . . . Different. Robby noticed the sickening red glow coming from his sleeve. Robby looked back at Twitch then to his sleeve. Was his sleeve hurting Twitch?

“Stop hurting her!” Robby grabbed his sleeve as he yelled at it. “Please, stop!”

As if the sleeve heard his cries of mercy the glow faded away and so did Twitch’s pain.

Robby started to shake Twitch to see if she was okay. Twitch wasn’t moving.

“Twitch?” Robby shook Twitch a little hard.

Twitch still wasn’t moving.

Now Robby started to panic. He just had Twitch for a day and a few hours and now she’s gone. What should he do? What should he -

“Are you two alright?”

Robby jumped as scrambled to hide Twitch’s body. When he faced whoever had been talking. A man in a white lab coat with slick black hair. For a stranger, he looked so, friendly.

“Oh I’m so sorry for giving you a scare.” He said worried that Robby was going to run away. “You two looked hurt so I wanted to see if you two were okay.”

Robby wanted to believe him but thought still played in the back of his mind, was he doing in the woods? Was he watching them?

“W-Why were you in the woods?” Robby nervously asked standing between the man and Twitch.

“I like to take walks out here.” The man said.

Robby had a sneaking suspicion that he was lying but tried to remain calm.

“Well thank you for asking but I’m fine.” Robby nervously said. The man looked at him with doubt.

“What about your friend?” Robby looked down to see Twitch’s still unconscious body. Dang it! he forgot about her. Think Robby, think!

“I - um - found them like this.” The lie the slip through Robby’s teeth. Robby hoped that this stranger would fall for it. There was a long pause when Robby said that. Robby tried to read the man’s face but he was more worried about Twitch being taken away from him. Then the man finally spoke.

“Well, if you found them like this we should help them.” The man smiled. He started to walk closer to Robby. Robby tried to shield her from the man.

“Ah, where are my manners? My name is Doctor Meridian.” Meridian probably introduced himself to stop the tension between him and Robby.

“ I mostly work with cybertronian tech and bots alike. If your friend here needs help, I gladly help.”

Cait : Cait and Sole return quietly to Sanctuary. The path ahead of them is still long, but for the time being, silence is fine. Well, not for very long. After everything that has happened, the fighter remains silent mostly because she is at a loss for words.

It was a shock to discover all of her senses after hiding from reality with Psycho for so long. However, she is currently experiencing one of her most agonizing torments.

Her feelings toward Sole.

It's made even worse by what they just did for her.

Finally, approaching Oberland Station, she urged a stop.

"Pee?" inquires Sole mockingly.

"Talking," Cait says, feeling uneasy.

They notify a nearby tree stump and settle there.

"What do you need to talk about?" inquires the vault dweller.

Cait watches the Charles flows down below, looking for her words.

"You are aware of all that has occurred since Tommy. And right there, you've changed my life. That is a lot."

Sole is worried, but quickly gets back their empathetic look.

"If you want to step back..."

Cait instantly raises her hand and places it on their shoulder.

"No! No, it is not that."

Sole throws themself on the young woman, causing them to fall backwards behind the tree trunk. Cait has a fleeting thought that something is happening far more unexpectedly than she had anticipated. But her thoughts are swiftly brought back to reality when the grenade explodes where they were.

"Gunner?" she inquired.

"Raider!"

As she stood up, the warrior smiled with all of her teeth, holding her baseball bat.

Codsworth : His programming doesn't include it. His programming doesn't include it. In his code, it is not included; he is well aware of the fact that it is not included in his programming.

Not to mention feelings of isolation, agony, and dread, as well as the happiness of seeing his master/mistress come back.

He is a robot, a straightforward bot that was programmed to perform chores around the house. He became an integral part of Sole's day-to-day activities and routines.

As a friend, as a member of the family, and as a close relative.

As he hands the towel to Sole as they emerge from the shower, he looks aside. This is not something that is programmed into his algorithm. It is not something that he does habitually. In any case, it wasn't. It's mainly now due to the fact that he had never experienced this sort of static that now grabs him whenever Sole touches him or leans in front of him to collect an instrument or a tool, and it is a thousand times worse when Sole undresses. Because he is a domestic robot, then Sole never felt embarrassed by Codsworth's presence.

Today, however, Codsworth is feeling ashamed.

He feels so awful.

He has to explain it to Sole.

With the help of Sole, perhaps they will be able to fix this programming issue and restore it to its previous state.

This is not the kind of feeling that he was designed to receive!

"Mom/Sir, would you mind if we opted to have a conversation?"

As soon as Sole reaches for the towel, they drape it around their waist.

"Yes, indeed, Cods, guy. What is the problem here? There is a decreasing supply of Radstag? Would you like me to find some sugar? Is the Assaultron I brought from the hills still making fun of you?"

The Mister Handy's accessories turns three times around him. He adopts a collected tone of voice and makes an effort to ease the peculiar vibrating that his machinery is experiencing.

"In all honesty, none of that is accurate."

This time, the human is unable to stand any longer. They sense that their robot exhibits some abnormal behavior. A pair of pants and a t-shirt are chosen at random by them, and they swiftly put on the trousers.

As they sit on their mattress, Sole lets out a sigh.

“So, I get that this is a very sensitive thing.”

"Very sensitive, to say the least. I am aware that it may come off as unconventional, absurd, or even unpleasant, but it appears that... I have developed a certain... as one may say, some instinct that typically corresponds to humans."

Sole raise an eyebrow once more.

"Typical to humans? Describe it."

At this point, Codsworth musters up all his bravery and takes a deep breath. In doing so, he sits down on the bed next to Sole in the same manner as a typical person would sit down. The one and only issue is that he may have forgets that he is a Mister Handy. Consequently, the bed in question happens to catch fire, Sole still be sitting on it.

They leap on their feet as the fire has quickly spread to them, and they cry out in pain throughout the process. As Codsworth's anxiety levels rise, he makes a mad dash to find a bucket of water at the pace of his truster. By doing so, he arrives at the conclusion that viewing himself as a human being is extremely risky, and that it would be more prudent for him to initiate a defragmentation of his personality module before it progresses to an excessive degree.

Curie : For a while now, the synth has noticed the difference. She understands that having a human body provides her with not only abilities to better explore the world around her, but also the opportunity to explore a complete intrinsic world in the same way.

Some sentiments and emotions.

And out of emotion, she realized she had a tremendous feeling for Sole.

This exploration was everything but subtle. She even felt upset at her friend, initially unable to comprehend why her thoughts kept returning to them.

Curie realized that she had romantic feelings for Sole. The trouble with this delicate circumstance is that Sole is the only person with whom she feels safe discussing her heart's torments. So, the only way out of this dilemma is to confront them and disclose everything.

Curie is still anxious.

And she is completely unaware that this is normal.

She coughs to catch the attention of her companion, who is working with Clem to erect a retaining beam to keep an artificial ceiling over the cave containing Vault 88.

"I can talk to you?" she asks timidly.

Sole rests their shoulder against the massive iron and rubber framework, wiping their brow.

"Is it critical?" they asked her, beckoning Clem to assist them.

"I believe so. It's quite significant.

Sole sighed. Curie believes that now is not the moment, but she fears that she will lose her mind if she doesn't speak. She sighs lightly.

"I understand you are busy…"

"A little, yes," replies her friend. However, their tone has softened significantly. "Curie, you appear to be dealing with a personal issue. If it seems vital to you, speak out. You know I'm always there for you."

Clem looks at the synth and seems to believe that this is the worst moment of the existence for a small talk. But the young man would never dare to oppose Sole, so he attempts to assist them maintain the pillar.

"Here it is. For some time now, I've been experiencing a peculiar storm inside of me, which is causing me to lose control. And you. I think about you all the time. I can't stop. I can't comprehend. I understand, but..."

Curie pauses and quickly looks up at Sole. Her companion has shifted their expression. Their gaze appears even more compassionate than before. They place one hand on the massive pillar to keep it in place and clear their throat.

"If I understand what you're saying—

"The ceiling!" Clem wails simultaneously, springing back.

Sole looks up at the pillar, and Curie's brain detects an unexpected alteration in their face. From affection to fear, the synth barely has time to understand what happens when a massive rock detaches from the ceiling and falls squarely on Sole.

She is so shocked that she can no longer hear Clem's screams of horror.

Dogmeat : "Wouf! Wouf wouf wouf wouf!"

"What?"

"Wouf!"

"Oh, I love you too, my too cute puppy!"

Elder Maxson : It's an unusual idea, but not an unpleasant one. Anyway, Sole has a lot of odd, but successful, ideas.

Maxson enjoys this short walk along the edge of Nordhagen Beach. His Knight urged that Maxson attend the meeting with the settlers' delegate. They had a difficult negotiation, but the BoS is now confident of a steady supply for the remainder of their tenure in the Commonwealth.

Then night fell as they respectfully celebrated alongside the locals.

Then, with the moon high in the sky, Sole insisted on having this little walk.

Maxson finds the trek pleasant... romantic?

He glances toward Danse, who is patrolling the area to ensure that the moment is not squandered, and then turns to his subordinate, who has stopped while perceiving his expression.

"Is something wrong, Elder?"

"On the opposite, or it depends."

Sole didn't appear to be reassured by the answer. The commander clears his throat and attempts a benign grin.

"I reflected on this atmosphere, landscape, and moment. Everything is just perfect."

'Perfect, indeed,' says Sole, distractedly.

Maxson insists, "In perfect company."

The Minutemen General's gaze is once again drawn to their superior. They appear to hesitate before smiling slightly but say nothing.

"What I mean—

"I understand what you mean. I'd have to be stupid, deaf, or blind to miss what you mean."

Arthur frowns. Sole's tone is not hostile, yet their response is uncommon.

"Do I understand that my feelings for you are not shared?"

"Oh, I apologize. It was rude of me. I must have become a little wild while wandering this land, mostly alone. I'm sorry for offending you."

Maxson grabs Sole's hand in his.

“So if I said to you—

"The code of conduct prohibits fraternization between superiors and subordinates," Danse's voice abruptly cut him off.

Maxson almost curses the man beneath his beard, but he stands straight with dignity and strives to maintain his demeanor.

"—that I am very pleased with the conclusion of this transaction and that it is now time to return to the Prydwen?"

When Sole gets their hand back, they can't help but smile faintly. They exchange a glance with Danse.

Maxson then understands.

He curses himself.

i was looking at sonic bots on Janitor AI and I found a bit that gave me the most amazing AU idea. I’ll add the bot at the end for those people who wanna see. Not sure if it’s an original idea but I made this so yeah. Also no, this doesn’t take place in the Sonic Movie universe. Just the regular Sonic universe. And I might take some of the characters from Sonic Prime, because I can. Fuck off.

ROBOTS SON AU!

Robotnik found Sonic when he was a very young pup (2 years old, to be exact), and decided to take him in as his own- his bots did help raising him, since he can’t keep Sonic with him all the time.

In this AU, Sonic isn’t a hero, and works alongside his father. Sonic even made some of the robots designs, since he took after his father.

In my au, Tails and his brother, Nine (yes, the Nine from Sonic Prime) are the heroes instead. Knuckles really only likes Tails, he thinks Nines a dick.

Shadow & Rouge are more of a neutral party, and try not to choose sides as both are powerful in their own ways. They’ll assist either side, for a price.. Rouge is a useful treasure hunter and thief, while show’s a good mercenary and fighter.

#4 The only Picture James has of his Parents is them dancing at their wedding, it’s the only picture he has and he stops himself for looking for more because every second he spends looking at that picture reminds him of what he lost and what he’s never able to get back

#5 Although James is Captain America’s son and he’s held at such a high regard and given such respect he acts more like Natasha. His hairs the same shade of red, He leans more towards the spy in him than the goodie two shoes solider, his hero costumes primary color is a red and Black jacket with a star etc overall he leans more towards Natasha in the personality department

#11 Francis keeps a picture of Bobbi in his pocket at all times so he never forgets his Mom’s face along with the fact that he never takes off his goggles the least he’ll do is just rest them upon his head hiding them within his hair

#12 he customized his Bow so that it can turn into a Bow Staff along with two separate Batons the same Bobbi used as he trained himself with the art of the Bow Staff in honor of her. He also carved out a small Mockingbird within his Bow for her

#13 every year on her Birthday he leaves flowers and one of the children’s books she read to him at her Grave where he talks to her and gives her a recap of what happened in the past year promising her he’d never give up fighting for what’s right
