Dos años en un parpadeo

Mucho ha pasado desde la última vez que me senté a escribir acerca de cómo me siento. Lo hice en otras publicaciones en otros blogs pero con la intención de que esos escritos fueran vistos.

Cuando uno escribe para ser leído con otros ojos, pienso yo, hay cierta parte que se reserva para uno mismo. O por lo menos eso siento.

Aquí me siento libre porque nadie sabe de la existencia de este lugar, tan mío. En fin...

Lo último que escribí aquí fue en año nuevo de 2017. Muchísimas cosas sucedieron desde entonces. 2017 fue un año muy difícil y lleno de cambios. En febrero me fui de vacaciones a Guadalajara con Fanie unos días porque no quería estar en Torreon para el cumpleaños de Israel (que cumple el 2 de febrero). Me la pasé muy bien con Fanie, vi Echávarri que estaba de paso por ahí y salí con Chincoya y sus amigos.

En ese viaje me violaron y me grabaron (espero algún día atreverme a contar lo que sucedió). Ahora no estoy lista.

Llegué a Torreón mucho más vacía por dentro que como me fui. Y unos días después me enteré que Israel estaba saliendo con alguien. La misma mujer que le escribía por messenger y con la que había quedado de ir por un café aun siendo mi novio. Me puse muy mal. Para esos entonces, yo seguía hablando con Luis y fue mi apoyo incondicional en esos días de tener el corazón destrozado.

Poco después me fui a Cancún con mi mamá unos días y visitamos Chichén Itzá y un cenote muy cerca de ahí que se llama Ik Kil. Nos quedamos en el Krystal un hotel bonito en Cancún y salimos de fiesta al Coco Bongo.

Volviendo yo seguía sin trabajo y decidí poner un estudio fotográfico en donde ahora era la oficina de mi papá en el centro de Gómez. Me compró luces, rollos y sus soportes para la pared. Empecé a hacer sesiones de fotos a conocidos y amigos para practicar con las luces y me encantaron los resultados.

En esa misma temporada, hablando con Ileana, pensamos en irnos de niñeras y se veía como un plan muy viable. Se necesitaba una inversión algo fuerte para hacer el trámite y sacar la visa pero se recuperaba muy rápidamente la inversión. Mi mamá estuvo de acuerdo y mi papá no, él quería que me quedara aquí para trabajar con él. La verdad es que él estaba tratando de bajar apoyos del gobierno y necesitaba mi nombre e historial crediticio intactos para poder concretar estos planes. Y como la verdad no quería meterme en problemas legales a mis 23 años, decidí que sí me iba a ir lejos. Mi mamá y abuela solventaron la inversión y me fui sin su apoyo. También por esas fechas fui a Mazatlán en dos ocasiones: una con mi mamá y otra con mi papá; y a McAllen con mi papá.

Hice toda la papelería para irme de AuPair, un video y en poco tiempo comencé con las entrevistas. Tenía dos muy buenas opciones y me quedé con la opción de irme a Bethesda, una ciudad a 10 minutos de Washington DC.

Y mientras todo esto pasaba, Luis fue acercándose poco a poco a mi hasta ganarse toda mi confianza y mi cariño. Todo fue gradual. Salíamos como amigos y él trataba de conquistarme diciéndome piropos, lanzando indirectas y no tan indirectas. Y me llegó a gustar bastante. Salíamos de jueves a domingo y me llegué a relacionar muy bien con sus amigos, y él, a su vez, con mis amigas. Mi cumpleaños lo festejé en su casa y me organizó mi primera y única fiesta sorpresa -hasta la fecha- para mi despedida. Luis y su familia me abrieron las puertas de su casa. Nos llevábamos muy bien y decidimos seguir con nuestra “relación” a distancia. Entre comillas porque jamás nos presentamos como novios, éramos más bien novios asumidos como lo hacen los gringos. Yo me sentía rara porque siempre me ha gustado la formalidad. Más específicamente yo quería que él se me declarara como todos mis ex novios y Luis no quería por alguna extraña razón. El punto es que a los ojos de todos ya éramos novios y con eso me conformé.

Y el 21 de agosto de 2017 me fui. El primer paso era ir al curso de inducción en New Jersey, a una hora de New York. Ahí llegué con una reacción alérgica que me contuvieron las horrorizadas señoras blancas y estiradas que daban el taller, el cual me pareció horrible e insultante para la inteligencia de la mujer promedio. Fui compañera de cuarto de dos alemanas muy muy jóvenes que vivirían en mi misma ciudad y en la inducción conocí a muchas niñeras, entre ellas una que se llama Jagoda a quien me toparía años después.

La última noche nos llevaron en autobús a New York por la tarde y nos subieron al Rockefeller Center, después nos dieron como 15 minutos para tomarnos fotos en en Time Square y luego nos llevaron a una especie de malecón desde donde vimos el Río Hudson, la Estatua de la Libertad y la ciudad de noche. La visita fue breve pero suficiente

3 días después de mi arribo a New Jersey, subí a un tren que me llevó a Washinton DC, llegando en la noche donde me esperaban mis host parents. Hasta el día siguiente conocí a mis niños Colin y Sam de 7 y 5 años, respectivamente. Hice clic instantáneo con Sam y fuimos los mejores amigos. La familia era muy respetuosa con mis horarios y con mis deberes. Todo era muy claro y teníamos juntas regularmente para hablar y llegar a acuerdos.

Les demostré que ser niñera no era sinónimo de ser ignorante o de tener bajas expectativas en la vida. Yo, a diferencia de la mayoría de las niñeras ahí, no buscaba mejorar mi inglés, sino tomar cursos de arte que me ayudaran a mejorar mis fotografías para ser mucho más competitiva en el mundo laboral.

Al principio me sentía muy muy sola porque me juntaba con otras mexicanas pero yo no sentía una conexión real de ellas hacia mí. No lograba conectar con nadie hasta que conocí a Marialaura, una niña de Chihuahua con un background similar al mío. Con ella hice otra bolita de mexicanas y conocí a Cavazos, quien nos presentó con otros mexicanos con quién fuimos a acampar al Parque Nacional Shennandoah y me la pasé increíble.

Para este entonces, mis niños y yo éramos uno mismo. Nos amábamos muchísimo y yo era muy feliz. Mi relación con mis host parents era excelente y estaban tan contentos conmigo que ofrecieron pagarme cualquier curso de arte que yo quisiera aunque este superara el costo de la “beca” de $500 USD que “regala” la agencia de niñeras.

Luego, en noviembre, mi mamá y yo planeamos un viaje a New York y nos vimos allá. Fuimos un fin de semana y conocimos muchos lugares. Entramos al MoMa, hicimos el paseo en bote a la Estatua de la Libertad y caminamos hasta que literalmente no nos funcionaban más las piernas. Mi mamá hasta tuvo una lesión fuerte en el pie a causa de caminar tanto. Yo pienso que fue parte los tenis nuevos que compró ahí mismo, parte el horrible frío de -4 grados y parte la gran cantidad de horas que caminamos y estuvimos de pie sin parar.

Allá vi a Ileana después de muchos meses de estar las dos de niñeras en EEUU y se sintió muy bien vernos en un lugar tan lejano. Cenamos las tres en el restaurante que se encuentra en la planta baja del Empire State.

Acabando el fin de semana, volvimos juntas a DC y mi mamá tuvo la oportunidad de ver cómo era un día normal en la vida de niñera que estaba llevando. Conoció a mis niños, a Charlie mi host dad, la escuela de Sam y me vio interactuar con ellos. La llevé a conocer Georgetown y la mayor parte de monumentos que alcanzamos en una mañana. Conocimos juntas el Lincoln Memorial, el Washington Memorial, y caminamos por todos esos jardines. Un día después nos despedimos en la puerta de mi casa.

Dos semanas después, el día 22 de noviembre, llegaría Grammy, la abuelita de mis niños, a la casa. Estaba preparando toda la comida porque el día 23 era Thanks Giving. Esa noche a la hora de la cena mi mamá empezó a despedirse por whatsapp y no me di cuenta. Minutos después mi tía Luisella me explicaría que mi mamá había tratado de suicidarse y que estaba en el hospital.

Salí a Torreón al día siguiente como pude. Marialaura llegó en la noche apenas supo y me ayudó a hacer maleta. Gasté todos mis ahorros en el boleto de avión y Cavazos, quien se ofreció a pagarme el boleto -y no lo dejé-, fue al aeropuerto a hacerme compañía.

Llegué a Torreón a una realidad muy horrible y pasé unos meses muy difíciles y muy traumatizantes donde tuve que tomar las riendas de la familia y decidir cosas que cambiarían el futuro de todos.

Luego posteo la entrada que tengo escrita en un documento de word donde explico con pelos y señales todo lo que aconteció esos días.

Luis y Llorens me ayudaron bastante en esos meses tan pesados. Luis más que otra persona. Si “apoyo” se convirtiera en una persona, sería en Luis. Él me cuidó y me levantó el ánimo y estuvo para mi todo el tiempo que lo necesité.

2018 llegó y mi mamá estaba de vuelta en la familia, como si nada. Era escalofriante verla actuar tan normal, como si todo aquel mes hubiese sido solamente una desafortunada pesadilla.

Al poco tiempo que las cosas se “normalizaron” entré a trabajar a una agencia llamada Guisky donde no era tan feliz porque me obligaron a ser community manager, tenía que manejar media hora desde mi casa a la oficina y me pagaban 1800 pesos a la semana y donde además trabajaba horas extras que, por supuesto, no me pagaban. Acepté un trabajo en otra empresa mucho más grande y consolidada (Plexiz) en cuanto pude y la gente ahí me adoptó rápidamente. Me costó trabajo al principio pensar y agarrar el ritmo como los demás de la empresa, que yo veía como genios pero di el ancho y estaban satisfechos con mi trabajo. Ahí me prestaron equipo muy bueno y nuevo y aprendí un montón de cosas de edición de video y after effects.

Cuando yo me sentía como pez en el agua, para el 15 de septiembre, nuestro jefe nos invitó a comer al Costeñito y nos embriagamos con tequila y cervezas. Luis llegó más tarde y se puso celoso de Charly, un compañero de la agencia porque según él me estaba tirando el pedo.

Luis me hizo una escena y me subí a su carro y nos dijimos muchas cosas. Yo me bajé del carro en pleno periférico y tuvo que bajarse a meterme y le eché a los federales. Me insultó y jaloneó cuanto pudo y yo le solté unos puñetazos en la cara. Estaba muy borracha y al día siguiente que amanecí toda golpeada recordé parte de lo que había sucedido. Me dio mucha vergüenza. Jamás había llegado a ese punto con nadie. Y me defraudé a mí misma por no sentirme capaz de mantenerme alejada de él por miedo a estar sola.

Al día siguiente le rogué que me perdonara y lo hizo con la condición de que jamás lo volviera a hacer y nos fuimos de viaje ese mismo día con sus amigos a Monterreal para pasar el día de la Independencia. La pasamos bien pero no habíamos tenido tiempo de hablar de lo que había sucedido.

Tuvimos altas y bajas. Luego me corrieron de Plexiz poquito antes de navidad, (un 20 de diciembre sin deberla ni temerla) porque a los dueños no les parecía que yo tomara fotos los fines de semana o que tuviera un compromiso más fuerte que su agencia. Porque para ellos era indispensable estar al pendiente 24/7 todos los días del año, así fueran sábados y domingos, a los que asistí muchas veces a trabajar a eventos sin remuneración.

Luego vino la posada de la agencia a la que ya no pudieron desinvitarme y me puse muy borracha y donde cometí varios desfiguros, entre ellos decirle a mi ex jefe que era mi crush e insinuármele. Me puse tan mal que perdí la noción del tiempo y terminé en su casa a las 4 de la mañana sin mi abrigo, mi bolsa y mi celular, que había dejado en el coche de sus amigos. Mi mamá encontró de alguna manera el número de mi jefe y fue por mi hasta su casa hecha una fiera a las 4 de la mañana. Me encontró ebria, toda llena de alcohol, drogada y besuqueada. Fui una decepción para todos y me sigo sintiendo muy mal por eso hasta la fecha.

Al día siguiente tuve que enfrentarme con todos, con mi mamá y con Luis quien estaba super preocupado y se las olía que algo malo había pasado. Nunca le dije en realidad lo que había pasado y le di la versión light. Me emborraché, perdí la noción del tiempo y ya está. Pedí perdón y negué todo como una cobarde. Me perdonó pero las cosas se pusieron peor.

Pasé el año nuevo de 2019 en Real de Catorce con Luis y varios amigos suyos aventureros. Me la pasé muy bien pero volviendo las cosas se pusieron feas cuando fuimos de fiesta a un bar en el centro. Luis, para ese entonces, ya era mucho más frío conmigo y cometió el error de hacerme una falta de respeto frente a Llorens y su novio, quienes estaban conmigo ese día. Ella lo regañó frente a mi y yo, quien tontamente ya había pasado por alto su mala educación, me alteré y me enojé conmigo misma por perdonarle todo ya y no tener respeto hacia mí. Le dije que se fuera y se enfadó. Lo tomé de su chaqueta en la escalera y por querer soltarse bruscamente, esta se rompió.

Él se molestó todavía más y salió como un rayo hacia su carro, planeando dejarme abandonada ahí en el bar y lo confronté. Le dije por qué estaba molesta y él no lograba entender que lo que había hecho era una falta de respeto hacia mí, su novia. Y más allá de no “poder” entenderlo, no QUERÍA entenderlo y eso me molestaba demasiado.

Le solté una cachetada y eso terminó de joder todo. Lo perseguí como una loca hasta su carro y me subí a él. Mientras caminaba tratando de alcanzarlo me empujaba y me pegaba para que no me le acercara. Aun así me subí al coche y le pedí que me llevara a mi casa. Como una loca. Todavía en el coche le rogué como una estúpida que me perdonara y que no me dejara. Y el solo me decía palabras hirientes que yo le contestaba con otras. Me dejó en mi casa y le rogué que me diera 5 minutos para pedirle perdón y me los dió pero quise pedirle más tiempo y se molestó y soltó un puñetazo al retrovisor con el que se abrió los nudillos de la mano derecha. Sentí miedo.

Y me pidió a gritos que me bajara del auto, vociferando enloquecido y yo le decía que no y que no y que no... hasta que se atravesó y me abrió la puerta desde adentro, tomó mi bolsa y la aventó por la ventana para luego tratar de empujarme a mi fuera del auto sin éxito. Luego se bajó y caminó enfurecido hasta mi puerta que abrió con brusquedad, agarrándome con sus brazos para tirarme al piso e irse.

Me metí a mi casa temblando de miedo, sin conocer a la persona que me había aventado de su carro ni a la que veía en el espejo. No sabía que yo era capaz de soportar tales niveles de violencia, ni que yo era capaz de ser así de agresiva e hiriente.

Me juré jamás volverle a dirigir la palabra y falté a mi promesa eventualmente. Pero me tardé. Lo bloqueé de todas mis redes sociales en ese mismo instante y al día siguiente se puso en contacto conmigo por medio del celular de su hermano.

Nadie en mi casa supo realmente lo qué sucedió y creo que tampoco en la suya así que ambos abusadores salimos ilesos del escarnio público.

Pasé muchos meses aislada de todo, sin salir. Todo el tiempo que estuve con Luis no me había percatado de que, poco a poco, me había envuelto en su red. Las personas con las que salíamos eran sus amigos, la casa de reunión era la suya, los planes se hacían con él. Todo giraba en torno suyo y cuando me separé de él me di cuenta de que me había quedado sola.

Estuve varios meses buscando trabajo y me decidí a irme a Tulum con Mariana. Y me fui con el apoyo de mis papás. Pero esa ya es otra historia.

Espero poder contar la historia de Tulum pronto.

Gyptian Promotes New Singles in The UK with a Promotional Tour!

Reggae Star Gyptian promotes his newest singles “Closer” and “Leave You Alone” in the UK with a tour and series of appearances preparing the market to ‘buy in’ as soon as his EP is released in January, 2018!
