Bold Street Coffee. Smena 8M. Ilford FP4.

I seldom write this blog at home. Most of the time I am in a coffee shop or somewhere public. Whilst sitting in Bold Street Coffee on such an occasion I had my Smena 8M with me and decided to see how well a roll of Ilford FP4 could handle the natural light.

With the aid of a free iPhone light meter app I snapped these whilst sipping on one of their rather nice single origin pour overs.

Cat Cafe on Bold Street in Liverpool 📍

There are so many cats here, and most recently they’ve added 2 new family members - 2 snow bengals!

There are rules (obviously).

The best time to go is in the weekday and when kids are in school.

Cafe Tabac has stood at the top of Bold Street since 1974 and, according to it's website was inspired by the "great Bohemian cafes of Europe." It has long had a reputation for attracting creative and arty types.

I popped in for a coffee before a gig at a nearby venue on a dull night of march this year. Luckily they did not mind me taking any photos.
