Some tried the burning of kelp to ward off the maddened demon, but this would often set off a more furious rampage, which even your ancestors felt. One solitary grace is fresh water, the only thing that will provide a brief place to be safe. Until the coming of spring, nothing will stop this nightmarish fiend from eroding everything, down to its putrid, rotten, bones.
