The problem I have is that I love and crave Cheesy romantasy novels but I'm so picky that there's hardly any I want to read so I'm forced to give up and read good books instead.

there's so many good emet-selch scenes but this scene in fanow has such a grip on me for some reason

the way he waltzes into the sad mournful atmosphere and immediately steals the scene. the fact he apparently got captured by the 'tenacious' rabbit girls while he was lurking around?? thancred's eternal bitchiness. emet-selch's brief but genuine condolences for everyone's loss��because if there's one thing he can empathise with, it's grief. but then when everyone looks at him he immediately has to follow up with the blasé: 'well she is dead, isn't she?' because he is, crucially, still an asshole. 'wishing it were otherwise will not make it so' so true hey emet what have you been doing for the past 12,000 odd years or so. just curious. just wondering.
