☆ "I'm kinda dumb" - Rottmnt x Bee and Puppycat - Part 1 ☆

A short little comic based on a scene from "Bird Friend", which is one of my favorite Bee and Puppycat scenes and also one of m favorite episodes!! It's also incredibly convenient that we just had both the 5th anniversary of rottmnt AND the 10th anniversary of Bee and Puppycat. I never make stuff in comic format so this is all vry new to me but I very much did this for myself bcus these two shows mean the world to me!!

And yea! There is a little bit of context that i had in mind for this!! I'm !! Copying it from my instagram and placing it under the cut!!

It is noticeable that the other turtles don't really see the purple dragons as a threat as much as Donnie does. I have a feeling he probably wasn't completely truthful about his struggles with them, since he likely feels like he caused his family more problems than they already had just because he wanted to join a little highschool club (we see in the show that Leo only sees them as nothing more than that). So during weeks or months, he spent lots of time in his lab, mostly focusing on fixing his tech and make it impossible to hack and hijack, barely spending any time outside of his lab, while nobody else really knew what he was doing or if he was even resting or eating properly. Knowing he'll just hurt himself if he keeps this up, they eventually confront him and he of course gets defensive and runs off to his lab. Raph asks the others to step back and let him go speak to him, which p much leads to this!!

(Part 1) Underrated Recommendations for Film & TV

1. Wolfwalkers (Film, 2020)

5. Infinity Train (TV, 2019)

The series is set on a gigantic, mysterious and seemingly endless train traveling through a barren landscape, whose cars contain a variety of bizarre, fantastical, and impossible environments. Passengers on the train proceed from car to car by completing challenges which help them resolve their psychological trauma and emotional issues. Every season of Infinity Train (referred to as a "Book", each with its own separate subtitle) follows its own storyline and set of characters, although some characters appear across multiple seasons.

6. Moral Orel (TV, 2005)

The series follows the titular Orel Puppington, a young, happy-go-lucky and naïve Protestant who showcases his commitment to God, while dealing with the cynicism of his abusive and alcoholic father, his lethargic mother, and the devoutly Protestant town of Moralton in which he resides.

7. Bee and PuppyCat (TV, 2013)

The series revolves around Bee, an unemployed woman in her early twenties, who encounters a mysterious creature named PuppyCat. She adopts this apparent cat-dog hybrid, and together, they go on a series of temporary jobs to pay off her monthly rent. These bizarre jobs take the duo across strange worlds out in space.

8. Tuca & Bertie (TV, 2019)

This animated comedy series explores the friendship between two 30-year-old bird women who live in the same apartment building. The buddy comedy features cocky, carefree toucan Tuca and anxious, daydreaming songbird Bertie as they live their lives in the metropolis of Bird Town.

9. Wander Over Yonder (TV, 2013)

The series follows Wander, a nomadic, helpful, and overly-optimistic intergalactic traveler and his best friend and steed, Sylvia the Zbornak, as they travel from planet to planet helping people to have fun, play, and live free, despite the continuing encroachment of Lord Hater, one of the most powerful villains in the galaxy, and his army of Watchdogs.

10. The Midnight Gospel (TV, 2020)

The Midnight Gospel revolves around a spacecaster named Clancy Gilroy, who lives on the Chromatic Ribbon, a membranous, tape-like planet situated in the middle of a colorful void where simulation farmers use powerful bio-organic computers to simulate a variety of universes from which they harvest natural resources and new technology. Each episode revolves around Clancy's travels through planets within the simulator, with the beings inhabiting these worlds as the guests he interviews for his spacecast. These interviews are based on actual interviews, with real audio sampled from Trussell's podcast, The Duncan Trussell Family Hour.

based on ✨vibes✨ is actually iconic, I hope we’re not surprised all of them are animated. and that nearly half are Ghibli. also, two honorary shows because they deserve to be on the list, period

so uhm, unfortunately it didn’t quite make the list, but just know The Lego Batman Movie (2017) is in my top five favorite movies. just didn’t make the cut for this list😔

10. Monster High: Boo York, Boo York (2015)— HEAR ME OUT. it’s that classic Monster High CGI and you cannot tell me those movies weren’t overflowing with vibes. me personally? I think Catty Noir carried in the vibes department, that’s just me. I’m biased, I love her🎀✨that era of Monster High had the best vibes, you know?

9. Kiki’s Delivery Service (1989) is classic too, you know? I love the bakery, has the coziest vibes ever… also, Fukuo [sweating]. but for the vibes, yeah, the bakery is peak. but, but, but, the forest, guys. Ursula’s cabin and the forest she lives in? ough, absolutely love it

8. The Secret World of Arrietty (2010), period. tiny home vibes!! in a big world? I eat that shit up! you get to feel the scale of the world they live in, and their tiny home under the floorboards has such amazing vibes. very forested and spring vibes in Arrietty’s room specifically, she just has, like, berry branches and grass in there. I love the greens and pinks

7. Ouran High School Host Club (2006), I just. I grew up with this, I cannot escape it. the vibes basically boil down to romance, roses, and really rich people. even the manga has great vibes. I love the pinks for the school, very light powder pink, very sweet and soft. also, the scene with Haruhi and Tamaki falling together at the end and he hugs her? STOP, let me put it at number seven, please🌹✨

6. Howl’s Moving Castle (2004) had to be here somewhere. I have so much to say about it but I can’t dissect it all here, but I can sum it up I think. the specific vibe that landed it here was romance, but specifically because Howl was looking for Sophie the whole time. when he first finds her he says something like, “I’ve been looking for you.”, and Sophie had told Howl to find her in the future and I just— the romantic in me is sobbing. also, the castle’s vibes alone land it here, it’s so sick and mechanical

5. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023)… yeah, so they’re both on here because they deserve to be. the difference between all the characters and how they’re animated? me losing my mind whenever Spider-Man Noir and Hobi are on screen? more likely than you’d think. just, artistic vibes alone, there’s so much to dissect and look at - one of my favourites being Miles meeting his Spider-Man for the first time and the green/purple aura around him turning blue/red, literally showing how he changed from The Prowler to Spider-Man? gaaah, puh-lease

4. Bee and Puppycat (2022) has to be here. I’m using the 2022 one, I have seen the original YouTube series, both have great vibes. I think everyone should watch Bee and Puppycat because the vibes are so chill and the animation is so chewy and yummy. the pastel colors are amazing, and uuh I just want to eat it. every episode, right in my mouth

3. Ponyo (2008) is specifically at number three for every scene with Granmamare. I mean, obviously the entire movie is gorgeous, I love animated oceans and fish, but Granmamare? oh, girl, please. she literally changes the vibe of the movie when she’s in a scene, which is fitting given she’s a goddess

2. Flow (2024) is so gorgeous, like what? I’ve watched it twice, I’m going to watch it for a third time later. any underwater scene with the cat and swarms of fish is so pretty, and the secretary bird? oh. my. god. the mountain summit scene? shut up. shut up, immaculate vibes

1. The Last Unicorn (1982) is just so… ough, absolutely gorgeous. yes, some of it is a fever dream and absolutely wild, but Amalthea’s scenes and the red bull? you cannot beat the vibes with them! the unicorn sea? please! and just the line art and the way they coloured different scenes?

the entire movie is gorgeous, especially the magical forest. absolutely beautiful and iconic

My Corazon HC's!! pt.3 ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

ft. Law as a kid!!

For Halloween, when Law was a child, Corazon dressed as Bee and Law dressed as Puppycat.

I saw an IG short on this, but kid Law and Corazon would watch Ice Age together.

A silly scene would come up, like this:

One of Corazon 's biggest fears is tiny animals. Hamsters especially. He finds them adorable, though, and loves looking at pictures of them.

Corazon snores in his sleep. It sounds like bunnies honking out of happiness. Like this.

If Corazon is dating you, his smile and silly faces and noises will cheer you up.

He loves KAWS.

His phone screen is cracked.

He has a Kermit the Frog plushie.

If you pretend to air punch him, he will jerk his head back and go,

He really wanted to go to the Grand Canyon, but he couldn't afford it. Law found out about it and did one of those GoFundMe things. Corazon found out about it and made him take it down, but was very touched by it.

He LOVES The Muppets Movie and Enchanted.

His favorite Drake & Josh episode is the one where they ran over Oprah.

His favorite Victorious characters are Cat and Robbie.

He has a binder with PVC free plastic sleeves with all of Law's drawings. He looks at it when he's feeling down. It doesn't totally cheer him up, but it helps quite a bit.

He doesn't really play videogames, but he likes watching Law play them. He will do Mario Party, Wii Music etc., and things like Angry Birds.

He's really good at Clash of Clans for some reason (yes, he still plays it).

But, his favorite mobile game is one called Deemo. He showed it to Law one time, but wasn't sure if he was ever interested in it.
