What the knife (might) be
I love the website and all, but this subtle rainbow effect on the knife/sword/dagger thing is annoying me. I'm by no means a knife expert but I have a couple theories as to how this blade could be getting this effect.
Maybe it's heat colored titanium?
Heat colored titanium usually looks something like the picture above, which lines up ok with the knife in the website, but it has a lot of drawbacks for a practical knife.
Titanium knives don't hold a long lasting cutting edge, and are much more brittle than steel, making it not the best blade for cutting. Which (as the blood + being stabbed into the book) shows that it's not that likely to be titanium.
It might have a neochrome coating?
Neochrome coatings are usually used for cars and car parts, but it is pretty commonly used on knives and silverware.
The problem with the neochrome possibility is that most neochrome knives are a lot less subtle as the one on the website, so I think it's a lot less likely that it's a neochrome coating.
It's a knife finish?
The last possibility I thought of was that it's just an extremely reflective knife finish (maybe a mirror finish?) and it's reflecting light from the room.
This seems the most plausible, but I'm probably gonna stick to the thought that it's titanium bc I personally love how heat treated titanium looks.

Well if redbull falls to shit, where do you think max would go? I personally think if merc got Adrian and max’s engineer willing to go to there, I think max would more than willingly go
idk depending on what year it is by that point he might just retire. his current contract takes him through 2028 and he has said he doesn’t want to go past then
newey probably won’t go to merc cause he doesn’t want to take on another long term project and max has also said he doesn’t want to drive cars coming in 5th and 6th even if he’s getting paid over 100 million dollars (which is what toto was willing to pay him reportedly)

the absoluuuuuuuuute tragedy of meeting someone who's so UNFATHOMABLY into what you've been researching, knows the archive you're using by heart, and is so psyched to potentially get you as a phd student that you yell at each other for over an hour about, "did you read this one? "OMG and then last week i found THIS—", but is also connecting you with a post-doc who abandoned almost the exact same research project because of lack of funding 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀

saw the tags on ur post and I HATE when people super engrossed in fandom get into the well it’s based on ___ or its a reference to ___ or the actor said ___ commentary in arguments. like at the end of the day that stuff is interesting and cool but 99% of viewers don’t read that stuff and the creators know that. so the average viewer who they write for is just interpreting the actions and looks on the screen not going “oh this is a bill Durham fake out moment” lol
yeppp. Also, taking inspiration from other movies and having it be an influence for a tv show doesn't mean the plots are going to exactly align or that the film dictates the canon of an entirely separate piece of art. just because one took influence from the other, they're two separate entities! This isn't a one-to-one type of thing!! if it was there'd have been no point in writing it, everyone would just go watch bill durham!
Now, to be honest I fully had to look this movie up, as I am not up on film culture nor was I alive in the 80s, lmao. so for those who also may not know, the IMBD synopsis for bill durham is as follows: "A fan who has an affair with one minor-league baseball player each season meets an up-and-coming pitcher and the experienced catcher assigned to him." and then the woman dumps the rookie at the end to get with the experienced catcher! so you can certainly see where the influence came in with royjamiekeeley (particularly s1 royjamiekeeley)
buttttt....
not to be incredibly petty (but i am going to be anyway)...need i remind them that by the middle of ted lasso, let alone the end, Keeley is every bit as much not with the "experienced catcher" as she is not with the "rookie".... :)

11.14 Expert Witness
QUINNAN: What are you, some kind of comedian?
BEECH: Sometimes, but today I’m your new DS.
MEADOWS: Who have you put with him?
DEAKIN: Rod Skase.
MEADOWS: Well that should be an education for both of them.
Don’s first episode and I am carefully not thinking about his exit. My personal canon ignores s16 and the Great Sun Hill Bonfire anyway.
A glimpse of the eager puppy side of Rod that you get later when he’s working with John. And, of course, his constant failure to convince women that he’s as wonderful as he thinks he is.
