This has probably been said, but all I desire is for Hazel to go up to Annabeth on the Argo II and ask her if she could do her hair like Annabeth has it. I just want to see Hazel sit on Annabeth's bed and Annabeth pull this tiny thirteen year old girl in her lap and do her hair. I just want big sister Annabeth. It's all I ever wanted. I might even write a small fic about this because it's too much.

This is a mess... But here we are.

Unfortunately as things usually are, not everyone can go with Jason.

Hera brings up the Argo that Leo had found and Leo remembers that lot of work needs to be done for it.

So they split up.

Jason, Percy and Piper, will head to Camp Jupiter and Annabeth and Leo will stay to work on the Argo with the rest of the Hepheastus cabin.

And as much as Annabeth and Percy hate to be seperated they know that she's better suited to help with the Argo II.

And Piper, with her charmspeak to get them out if things go south.

Thalia just flat out refused to leave Jason.

So our group goes to go do, diplomacy(?).

What could go wrong?

Shocking....Literally no one, things goes wrong.

They still have Juno being carried by Percy, his immunity being washed off.

Jason tries to help but... Juno said nope.

Luckily she leaves them to go and get to the camp and will reappear convienetly later.

Thalia puts together a camp and fire for them to get through the night.

The group pass the time talking.

Piper talks about training with Clarisse, feeling she has to constantly prove herself.

As well as the story of the BMW.

Thalia bants back and forth with Percy and asks about Jason's upbringing.

Jason, gives them all the run down.

... Suffice to say hearing your brother was raised by wolves who would threaten to kill him if he dared show fear and than put in an army... Makes Thalia a bit mad.

... Okay very mad.

Just hugs Jason close and his touch starved little heart melts.

Jason admits he's nervous, that he never quite felt at peace until he was in Camp Half-blood.

Piper is appalled, and Percy... a survivor of military schooling is a teeny...

Tweeny bit absolutely pissed at the idea of kids being in an army.

"... Okay I know we also do that but at least we're more subtle about it..."

He gets mad when he hears about the town like area of New Rome, demigods living peacefully and living their lives.

Wishing Camp Half-blood had the same.

... Though than gets more mad bout the idea of adults nearby doing jack shit while the kids are in the army.

Percy does however swears to Jason than nothing he sees or witnesses will change his opinion of Jason.

A sentiment that Thalia and Piper echo.

They are friends, nothing can change that.

Jason, stumbles out a thank you and maybe cries a little because it's the first time he's had real friends.

He does get a bit embarrassed about it.

Percy just smiles, gives him a hug and tells him crying doesn't make him any less strong.

First time Jason's ever been told that.

Percy tells him a story about how he cried the first time watching finding Nemo.

Leading to a way to in depth explanation about finding Nemo, another hug and a promise to show him when all this is over.

When the time comes, Percy carries Juno though he makes it clear he isn't happy about it.

Thalia even refrains from teasing him about it, having to stop herself from cursing out Juno for putting Jason with these people.

After she admits it was her.

Walking into Camp Jupiter's boundaries the assembled Romans bow before Juno.

And with reluctance, the others bow as well.

"Praetor Grace! Praetor Grace you have returned!"

The assembled Romans salute him abd Jason salutes back with a smile.

Someone runs off and returns with Reyna and Octavian.

"Praetor Ramirez-Arellano and Augur Longinus."

Jason runs to them and embraces them. The two lose all lose all manner of professionalism and hug him back.

With Reyna overjoyed he's returned and Octavian shocked before smiling warmly.

The two bow before Juno who introduces the others as Percy Jackson son of Neptune, Piper Mclean daughter of Venus and Thalia Grace daughter of Jupiter.

A banquet is proposed by Reyna, for Jason's return and to celebrate that he's finally found his missing sister.

Thalia smiles warmly, hugging Jason and says she's been looking forward to meeting them both.

Which is before the entire 5th Cohort comes running in, some tackle Jason into a hug, others are cheering and they all throw him up into the air.

Reyna explains that while Jason was raised at Camp Jupiter, the 5th was his first and true home.

Jason is about to go with the 5th to catch up but doesn't want to leave his friends behind.

Said friends smile and wave him off, telling him to go have fun and Jason happily runs off with the others.

Reyna offers to show them around and Octavian mentions needing to go to consult the augeries about the new comers.

Percy sensing somethings off asks if he should go with him and Octavian agrees.

Reyna gets to know Piper and Thalia, the three trade stories of growing up, learning about Camp and at some point have a sparr.

With Reyna complimenting them both.

Piper is suprised to learn that her skills aren't seen as a suprise here unlike at Camp Half-blood. Nor is her parentage used to make her feel weak.

Being that the founder of Rome, Aneias was the son of Venus. And thus she is held in high regard here.

Giving Piper confidence.

Octavian explains the teddies, that his namesake used actual people but this was a better solution to him.

He does thank the little guys for their service and sews them up though which Percy reckons can't make him all bad.

But he has a feeling.

And that feeling has gotten him this far so he stays on guard.

The group all reunite at the banquet, Jason joining them sitting beside Thalia and Reyna happily talking about his day.

Also Nico is there and introductions and... I definitely don't know you looks are given.

Percy ends up near Frank and Hazel and makes introductions. While shy at first they both manage to open up though Percy notices that Hazel keeps shooting looks at Octavian.

Some point later Mars shows up and Percy feels a very murderous urge but luckily his attention isn't on him.

Frank is issued a quest and a prophecy is given by Mars. Though Octavian seems annoyed by this, because he's supposed to give the prophecies but doesn't say anything.

Percy, feeling bad for Frank offers to go with him and Hazel and the trio set off.

Before he does so, he shares with Thalia and Piper his suspicions on Octavian and the two promise to keep an eye on him.

The quest plays out as canon.

Switching back and fourth between it and Camp Jupiter.

Hazel after revealing her curse explains that it's what Octavian had black mailed her on.

So that she would vote for him to be Praetor.

Percy, seeing vote as kill has them all rush back.

Meanwhile, Thalia and Piper along with Nico realise Octavian is up to something and that more and more campers are getting distant and distrustful with Jason.

Confusing Reyna and them.

And deeply hurting Jason.

Piper is able to corner and charmspeak them into telling her that it's because Octavian's black mailing everyone.

And that he's had visions of Jason is conspiring with the Greeks to overthrow Rome.

They than find Jason's missing and find him on the ground with Octavian over him.

Octavian wearing a Praetor's attire.

Just as Percy, Hazel and Frank show up.

And it's revealed Octavian has been trying to get rid of Jason to become Praetor.

He always wanted to be Praetor and saw Jason as unworthy of such a title.

Believing he earned it simply because of his parentage and not earning it at all.

But why he wanted to get rid of him rather than merely voting him out is because Octavian had a vision.

Of the Camp in flames and Jason hugging the person responsible.

And siding with the Greeks over the Romans.

"He's a traitor"

Reyna glares, stating the only traitor is him and Jason is heartbroken.

Having never wanted the title but was pushed into it.

We also learn now why Jason was running in the lost hero, it was because a hoard of monsters were released by Octavian into the Camps collisium that Jason had been trapped in.

Jason managed to escape but was persued, his coin was in Octavian's grasp and because of the Doors being open the monsters would not die.

Something Jason had only recalled now.

It chased him for days.

What he said to Percy before blacking out was "please! Help! Don't trust Octavian."

In Latin.

It had taken the last of his strength to tear them apart and Juno's last minute divine intervention to kill them off.

And he'd only now recalled what had happened.

Before anyone can do anything, a dagger flys through the air pinning Octavian's stolen Praetor sash to a pillar.

And we see Annabeth aboard the now repaired and airborne Argo II.

Heard everything and pissed.

"Try that again and this time I won't miss."

"Who are you?!"

"Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena."

The Greek camp is revealed, along with the true parentages of the others and Reyna rubs her head and sighs.

"Anything else?"

Octavian uses this as fuel to encourage the Romans to arms and to destroy the Greeks.

Reyna, shuts it all down stating that they will handle this diplomatically.

Jason is standing motionless as Thalia holds him, his eyes empty as his truest and closest confident berates and calls him a traitor.

Percy hates that he was right and the group head into the senate to talk and discuss why they did all this and the looming threat of Gaea.

And Jason feeling more alone than ever despite sitting by Thalia.

Also Octavian's last name in this, Longinus comes from Cassius.

Gaius Cassius Longinus, the guy best known from the Shakespeare play Julius Caeser for being one of the conspirators who lead to Casers assassination.

Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase MBTI analysis: The Battle of the Labyrinth.

Annabeth as INTJ

Ni > Te > Fi > Se

Percy as ESFP

Se > Fi > Te > Ni

I think The Battle of the Labyrinth showed their cognitive functions really well. I am actually still doubtful about Annabeth being ENTJ or INTJ, but this book made me think of Se as her inferior function because of how much she questioned Percy for relying purely on it.

Se can work as more of an 'action' function, while Ni inclines more towards analyzing.

Strong Sensing users rely on their five senses, whether it's Si or Se doesn't matter because that description works for both of them. The main difference is that Si is about the past, whereas Se is about new experiences.

Se + Fi combo in Percy is obvious to me. He takes every action he can almost impulsively (or at least that's what it looks like to Annabeth), he trusts Rachel because he has witnessed how useful she was when he found her in The Titan's Curse. He knows she can see the monsters even better than him, so every little and big action and/or decision he takes is based pretty much on his friendship with Rachel; Introverted Feeling (Fi) took quite a bit part of his whole behavior, and the fact that he has Extroverted Sensing (Se) as dominant function just made him decisive, which for Annabeth was recklessness.

During the whole time Percy trusted Rachel "blindly", Annabeth couldn't help but analyze every single future event. Her Introverted iNtuition (Ni) was at its peak, and I can see this when they encountered a new path: Rachel said it was over there, Percy immediately started following her with no previous analysis other than the fact that Rachel helped him (therefore was his friend) and sensed everything much more clearly than him. But Annabeth was very suspicious of Rachel, not because of some jealousy, but because she perceived (N) everything around her and stated that it was a very dangerous path because of how it looked or that they went there before.

She has the ability to connect dots really fast. And in other scenarios where she explains Percy something, he can't catch the hint quickly, but to Annabeth is almost obvious because her thinking (Te - Extraverted Thinking) relies on her perception of things and what will happen in the future (Ni). But Percy has Ni as his inferior function, which I believe, in his case, means that it's not very well developed or he doesn't use it at all times like her.

Taking this last point into account, Annabeth's inferior function (if we follow the idea that she's INTJ) is Se. In The Battle of the Labyrinth she's suspicious of a lot of things and feels at ease when it's something she knows she's good at (e.g: when Hephaestus' spider was leading them and she was terrified, but felt immediately comforted when she had to do a physical thing she's good at — I read it in Spanish idk the translation and I'm too lazy to search it up but ikyk the moment, right?). Obviously, this could look like a strong Si, but because her Ni is showed from the beginning of her appearance (she knew Percy was a kid of the Big Three before he was even claimed). Inferior Se can look like a Si if the person is too ashamed of it, or if it's really bad developed, or if they rely excessively on their dominant and auxiliary functions. I think the latter is Annabeth's case.

I think this book made their strongest cognitive functions shine. Of course I'm not saying Annabeth is indecisive, she's actually a very analytical person who knows when to take risks. Whether she's ENTJ or INTJ doesn't matter a lot to me, but in this specific case I think Se was her inferior function (which applies to INTJ). I also don't mean that Percy isn't analytical, he analyzes things differently. He's not dumb at all, it's just that his way of thinking doesn't primarily rely on connecting dots like Annabeth. Percy is most likely to see the big picture whereas Annabeth looks at tiny details, and I think this is why they are a very good duo and their relationship is well developed even though they are different.

Think about it like a workplace: they are working for the same goal and are put together to achieve it (which is similar to what actually happens, they just happen to want the other to be there most times). Annabeth does take more of an analyzing role, but sometimes her analysis reaches a tight situation where they have to escape somehow, and most "crazy" solutions come from Percy — and he does use his thinking (Te) for that, but has the perception and decisiveness quite characteristic of Sensing users and the fact that he's Se dom just makes him look like a total impulsive person to Annabeth most times, yet she's able to see his reasoning but can feel doubtful of it at times because of how much she tries to predict things.

I think this could be a little confusing for people who don't know cognitive functions... I am willing to answer questions! I also would like to know other people's take on this, but please keep debate in a respectful level (don't find me typologytok).

Fighting the pretty girl

Annabeth guided me to Cabin 11. She said its counselor would set aside a place for me to sleep in the crowded cabin.

The cabin looked relatively normal compared to the other extravagant cabins, the only thing that differentiated it from a normal mortal cabin was the caduceus on the door, a sign of the messenger god.

My guide opened the door and I saw many children in many bunk beds. The cabin must have some charm on it because seen from the outside, the cabin is not that big.

All the children looked at me, some with looks of curiosity and others of annoyance.

- Luke! - Annabeth called.

I saw an older, sand colored skin, dark-haired boy with a scar on the right side of his face stop talking to a Latino boy and look at us. His jaw clenched and his breath hitched for a moment, but he recomposed and smirked at our direction.

- Oh hi! Sorry, capture the flag is going to be soon and we won't remain undefeated if we don't plan something. Right, Annabeth? -

- Don't worry, Athena always has a plan. This is Ada, a newcomer. Ada, this is Luke, Hermes's cabin counselor. - she placed a hand on my right shoulder.

I smiled politely at Luke as I raised my left hand as a wave.

- Hi, Annabeth told me about you. Could you show me my spot, please? -

- All good things I hope. Follow me, I'll get you settled. -

He guided me to the left end of the cabin. Even the bunk beds there were occupied.

Luke opened a closet that was on the middle and pulled out a sleeping bag.

- We are kind of very full, but there's always space for one more. -

He placed the sleeping bag on the floor.

- Don't worry, it's temporary. I'll try to find you something nicer. - Luke smirked and patted my right elbow.

- It's fine. Thanks for the help. I just wanted to leave my backpack and see the rest of the camp with Annabeth. - I gave him a weak smile.

He looked over my shoulder to the Athena's girl with an eyebrow raised.

- Hey little sis, are you trying to steal my job now? Showing the ropes it's kinda my thing. -

- Oh please, you bore people to death with all your pep talks. -

I almost laughed as I stuffed my backpack into my sleeping bag. I wasn't going to leave it out in the open in the god of thieves' cabin.

Luke clutched his pearls and gasped.

- For your information, people say I'm the perfect big brother. Thank you very much. You go finish the guide but bring her back before dinner, I'm still her counselor and I still have many pep talks to give. - He winked at me and went back to the wavy haired boy.

- You ready? - Annabeth asked me.

- Let's go. - I smiled at her as we exited the cabin.

We spent a couple of hours talking as we walked across the camp.

It was easy talking with Annabeth, she would let out a cool fact about the buildings which would spark a conversation about a totally different topic.

She offered to try out the climbing wall together and I agreed. To say it was difficult was a lie, it was VERY difficult. The lava and the slippery steps made a challenging duo, and yet Annabeth seemed to be climbing it in some kind of pattern that I couldn't see.

After 2 hours or so, Annabeth was waiting for me on the ground.

I was covered in sweat but Annabeth seemed barely bothered.

She cleaned the palms of her hands in her cargo pants, and I did the same.

- You get used to it with some tries. - She laughed.

- Yeah, I sure hope so. How long have you been here anyway? -

She smiled and reached for her necklace.

- Five years, a bead for each one. They give it at the end of the summer and it symbolizes the most important event of it. -

- And the ring? - I asked.

- It's my dad's. - She gently grabbed it and gave it a melancholic look.

I decided to not push the subject and try to talk about anything else.

- So the Demeter's kids were so thrilled about a new pine tree that they put it on a bead? - I let out a soft giggle.

I fucked up. I realized it when her face resembled a kicked puppy.

- I'm sorry, I didn't mean to... -

- It's fine, I haven't told you till now. - She interrupted me.

She turned to the tree that was alone in the distance and let out a heavy sigh.

- I came to camp with Luke, a satyr protector and another demigod. Her name was Thalia. We were reaching the camp borders but there were too many monsters following us. She stayed back, trying to hold them off so at least we could make it. In the end her father, Zeus, turned her into a pine tree to save her. - Her voice was slowly breaking and I gave her a side hug.

- She met a hero's fate. - I tried to make it sound noble, the best end anyone could hope for. But heroes only have tragic endings. Even Heracles and Achilles died screaming.

Her eyes were watery but she wore a weak and nostalgic smile.

- The borders were expanded thanks to her. She saved much more demigods than just Luke and me. -

- Oh, she's so badass -

I'm glad she finally laughed sincerely.

- Yeah, she is - Her smile had not faded.

We stayed there for a few more seconds, just staring at the tree that once was a girl. Then Annabeth linked our arms and made me follow her as she started to walk.

- Come on or I will have to hear Luke's pep talks too. - Her eyes widened for a second.

- They are that bad? -

She just looked at me with her lips pursed.

- Oh God. - I prayed.

- So Luke and you are not blood related then? I know its a silly question but greek gods have messed up family trees. -

She gave me a look.

- No pun intended, sorry. -

- Thalia and us wandered on the streets for a long time before our satyr protector found us and guided us to camp. We lived through a lot together, he is family, you know? -

- Oh I know, have one of those rascals myself. He's name its Percy. Not my biological brother either, but he's the first person to understand me and really being there. -

Then I remembered the last thing he told me, he would come over to my place with blue pancakes. I wonder how he reacted when he got to my house and discovered what happened.

- Actually, is there any phone or something that I can use to talk to him? I really need it. -

My voice broke before I could control it.

Percy doesn't know the truth. He just knows that I was sent away, and I couldn't leave him to wonder if I was ever coming back.

Annabeth let go of my arm, she looked at me with pitiful eyes.

- Listen, Ada, the mortals are never accepting of our reality. Demigods attract monsters and it only gets worse when they find out who they are. You... - She spoke slowly and calmly, something that I wasn't capable of right now.

I couldn't calm down. It would be better if I just went away for a while, I couldn't hurt her if I did.

I started walking fast and for what it seemed, I actually didn't know how to get to the cabins because I passed them by.

Now I was in the arena. I thought that nobody would be there because of the threatening cumulonimbus, but one person was there: Clarisse.

She was tearing apart a training dummy with a spear.

She seemed careless and brutal, but her attacks were the clear product of disciplined training. They were precise cuts and clean punctures. A beautiful thing to see, but in the training dummy, of course. I was surprised she hadn't realized I was there, so I decided to make my way back to the cabins before my bad mood and her bothering collided.

I wasn't lucky.

- Look who's here, the snarky bitch. -

- Hi again, it's Ada, by the way. Why don't you go back to look big and tough with Mr. Shreds over there and leave me the fuck alone? Thank you. -

I turned around and started to walk fast but I heard a cold laugh behind me. And I was turned around again by my shoulder and grabbed me by the collar fucking again too.

- Oh, no. You come here and you act like if you are actually worth something, someone has to put you in your place, tough girl. - Her mean giggles turned into threatening whispers.

That was hot, but this bitch is starting to get on my nerves.

In a swift move, I rotated my torso, punched her hands away from me with my elbow and pushed her back.

Her punches were identical as her cuts but I could feel her fists pushing the air as she moved and I was faster.

I landed a punch in her jaw that did absolutely nothing and then she hugged me by the hips and threw me into the ground with my head hitting hard leaving me dizzy for a moment.

She was on top of me and she punched my left eye. Clarisse rested her right palm on the ground to gain balance again but I took advantage of it and hit the inside of her elbow and punched her nose. I pushed her and stepped back.

- Girls! Cut it out! - a familiar voice called.

I turned around and saw Annabeth with Mr Brunner, who was on a horse.

Hold on a bloody minute, HE WAS THE FUCKING HORSE.

- Hello again, Adara. - Mr Brunner greeted.

- I was just teaching her how to wrestle, Chiron. No need to make a fuss, right newbie? - Clarisse gave me a bone chilling look.

May I Introduce You To My Beloved Wife?

I swear to god, I will write this fic once I'm done with Coleoidea. Both have been haunting me for the past 2-3 years! I don't know how you smartphone girlies do it but writing on a phone is straight up hell. Anyways. Random scene, not proof-read, yadda yadda

“And now you’re taking a nap and let grandma do the dishes, right?” Sally smiled at her grandson whose giggles warmed her heart.

Annabeth and Percy truly gave her the biggest gift possible, even if by accident. She had hoped that she’d have a few grandchildren roaming around and now she finally had one. With Percy’s current trajectories and managing his father’s legacy she wasn’t sure how soon her only child would start a family.

The bright boy in her arms blinked slowly as he was truly succumbing into his sleep. He stopped squirming. That was until a shrill mechanical chime woke him up. Gone were any signs of tiredness. “Oh, I wonder who that could be… I didn’t order anything.” Sally asked herself, still carrying her grandchild as she went ahead to open the door.

“Sally! Tengo que decirte todo que ha pasado en mi viaje!” It was her beloved neighbor Esperanza Valdez who had come back from her two-year long trip through Central and South America, visiting dozens of relatives and friends along the way. Retirement had its perks. And as a former car mechanic shop owner, the elder woman had saved up a lot of money.

“Eh?” Esperanza halted, her brown eyes widening as she realized that her friend wasn’t alone. Sally held a toddler in her arms with fine dark brown curls and sea-green eyes that curiously observed her. “Y de quien es este bébé?”

Sally grinned widely and reassuringly rocked the child in her arms. He did not have to fear anyone. “Este es mi nieto.”

“Qué?!” Esperanza nearly yelled. “Percy ya tiene hijos?!”

Sally nodded and she felt how her vision got blurry. The candy shop employee blinked them away. She was so happy that her small family grew in size. Neither her son nor she were alone anymore. For the most part.

“Mira eso… el tiempo vuele.” It was Esperanza’s turn of choking up as she patted the toddler’s cheek, making him crack a smile. “Y tiene la misma cara de su papa.”

“Si,” Sally admitted, a tad bit sadder. “Y de su abuelo. Los mismos ojitos.”

It pained her. It truly pained her. Poseidon, wherever he was be, never had the chance of seeing her son grow up. And now he would never be able to greet his descendants. Percy had transferred all of his father’s looks downright into his own child.

Sally’s former love was gone, while his legacy finally began to thrive. No matter how awful he was at times, many times. Not knowing one’s family, a fate she knew too well… Sally did not wish such a fate to anyone.

Big oof. Anyways, will drop one shot + probably post the first ~10 pre-written chapters of The Nymph (you can thank Pearl for that) whilst working on Coleoidea in the near future. I really hoped to get to post stuff sooner :s

-Nico & Reyna, need I say more?

-Nico & Percy & Jason, maybe Velinxi’s young gods au brought this on but literally they’re so iconic and I just love all their big brother, goofy, stupid dynamics

-Nico & Percy & Jason & Hazel & Thalia, like sometimes the image of these five grouped up like the avengers in a battle makes me smile so hard

-Grover & Percy, COME ON, I feel like we forget how much Grover cares about Percy and how much Percy reallly did love Grover during PJO. Ugh Chalice of the Gods got me so hyped to see them being friends again

-Annabeth & Thalia, like I think this one is so funny and a little sad at the same time because Annabeth’s all grown up now but Thalia’s still her big sis and to think how Annabeth, basically the leader of camp, would probably still get her hair ruffled and teased by Thalia is so sweet

-Piper & Annabeth, I feel like they formed such an unexpected and overlooked bond over the course of the books especially that scene in boo I think? where they just sat and talked for a while.

-Piper & Annabeth & Hazel, these three totally had slumber parties and s’mores and pillow fights in the Argo II you know I’m right

-Jason & Reyna, yk these two have such a complicated past together but I feel like after everything, the image of them still facing each other with respect and friendship is so satisfying. too bad jason died before we could see much of that lol

-Frank & Reyna, literally we saw some glimpses of what their co-praetorship was like during tyrants tomb but I wanna see more of it. Reyna’s strict upright rules and Frank just being nervous and clumsy af on the first day of his job. Frank probably asked her if she played mythomagic at one point. They must’ve been so funny brooo
