I have so much love for the way Saga just slips into being silly even when she's firmly on-task. She comes up with bad puns and peps herself up with positive self-talk and really seems to want to think the best of even the strangest of people, she's very emotional and deeply compassionate, and it sucks to watch her go through terrible things for essentially the crime of being kind of nosy.

I love how soft they are with each other. Thomas has nothing but sweet words to say whenever he’s asked about his decade partner, and it’s clear there’s no one else Manu would rather hold close. He can’t help but lift him up (literally and figuratively) at every opportunity.

chapter 3 update

“Eddie Diaz.” Sergeant Grant steps through the door, eyes scanning the walls of the apartment like she can pull a kaiju out of them. “Heard you earned yourself some downtime with your work on the surges?” She whirls, quirks an eyebrow. It’s been five and a half years. He sees her on the TV enough to know she hasn’t changed but seeing her, in person, right in front of him, is like falling through a wormhole. “I was under the impression I bent over backwards to get you out of the program so you could lay low, not raise eyebrows some other way?” Eddie closes the door behind her with a sigh. “Sergeant Grant – hello to you too.” She makes no indication that she’s going to partake in the greeting, so he lifts one of his shoulders. “Not like I did it on purpose. Surges are getting worse, and I’m the lucky guy who keeps finding them.” “Dangerous work,” Athena says, casting a look down the short hallway Christopher disappeared into. “Where’s your boy?” It’s not that he doesn’t trust Athena, it’s just… with Chris, everything scares him. Christopher is all he’s got left, and Athena is synonymous with war, with jaegers, and he desperately doesn’t want Chris near any of it. His jaw ticks, but he tries to keep the apprehension out of his voice. “In his room,” he says, “what’s going on, Athena? Why are you here?” She purses her lips, and she looks so out of place here. She’s too much – too grand to be standing in his apartment, like a diamond in a soup kitchen. “Couple reasons.” Eddie raises his eyebrows, then dips his chin, waiting for her to continue. Athena puts her hand on her hips and sighs. “I could feed you the lines they told me to, and I wouldn’t be lying, but let me start by being honest with you, Diaz. I’m worried about you.”

I’ve been trying to use vocaloid recently since I obtained a Big Al, but aaaaa it is so so hard finding any kind of tutorials or help for V2 and when you do it’s for like specific problems you don’t have or extremely simple beginner things like “here’s how to type in lyrics” (TwT ). Big Al is really fun so far, but man it’d be nice if anyone online had answers for anything.
