WIPBB/WIPRB 2025 Sign Ups Are Open!

Here are the links to sign up! I had meant to put them up last night with the masterlists but I still have more work to do on the masterlist for the 2024 round. But sign-ups are officially open, and these links will be pinned to the main pinned post as soon as I finish the masterlists!

Please note that there has been some slight changes to the way the event is run (see schedule). Writers will get a more solid chunk of time to develop their fic before the artists join the event so that they have a solid part of the story ready for the artists to get cracking straight away!

Beta applications close on 1 October.

Beta acceptances will be issued on a rolling basis.

Artist acceptances will be announced on 4 October.

Sign-ups are Open

Sign ups are open for the 2025 Murderbot Diaries Big Bang! If you want to participate this year, you need to sign up again, even if you participated last year. If you want to be both a writer and an artist, you have to fill out both forms.

Writer Sign Ups Artist Sign Ups Beta Reader and Pinch Hitter Sign Ups

Writer sign ups will remain open until the end of the month of February. Artist sign ups will remain open until the end of March. Beta reader and pinch hitter sign ups remain open for the duration of the event.

April 5th: Prompt applications open for writers

April 8th: Prompt applications close for writers (11pm CST)

April 9th: Prompt selections open for artists

April 12/13th: Matches sent out

May 1-4: Check-in 1 (25%)

June 25-28: Check-in 2 (50%)

July 18-21: Check-in 3 (Final check-in, 75%)

August 13-16: Posting date selection

August 17th: Pieces due!

August 18th-September 18th: Posting!

Fic requirements

Must be a minimum of 8k words

Must be beta-read

Must have proper ao3 formatting

Must have proper tagging on all writing and art
