The Eye is a lamp to the body” refers to what we put into our minds. OwO It refers to the renewing of our minds that Romans 12:2 talks about. We’re ✨transformed✨ by the renewing of our minds~
As we continue feed certain things into our minds through what we watch or read or even see on Instagram, we dwell on those topics we see. Those topics become our thoughts which then dictate our words and actions. And those things impact other people!
That is why it’s important to watch what you decide to put into your mind and dwell on. If you feed only dark things like violence and hatred and anger, you become more angry and embody that darkness you consume.
And on the other hand, if you put in light and pure things, like God’s word, you become more like light.
(And of course, who better to represent light then Sky’s children of the light~?✨)
Philippians 4:8 tells us to think about pure, lovely, and true things. This way, we renew our mind with God’s light and become more like light ourselves✨
So what have you been putting in your mind lately? :0✨ Are you satisfied with the light that you have?

“How long has this been happening to him?” Jesus asked his father.
“From childhood,” he said. “And many times it has thrown him into fire or water to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”
“Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’? Everything is possible for the one who believes.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭9‬:‭21‬-23

(alternate music only video)
i struggle recreating the beauty the Holy Spirit shows me musically, with the limitations of my art. He always surprises me though, and i'm humbled at how lovely it turns out, despite me. but even so, nothing can compare.. nothing can convey the beauty of the Lord.
the most beautiful Being in the universe, our Creator, came down to be one of us and shed His blood for us. He knew we couldn't pay our sin debt ourselves, and He loved us so much He became the payment in our place. but death couldn't defeat Him and He rose on the third day.
it's only through faith in Jesus Christ and His blood that we're set free. He promises eternal life to all who believe in Him, and He's coming very soon to take us home. He is the only one worthy of praise; the only one Just and Loving and True enough to trust your life with. He will never betray you or abandon you. He has loved you unto the ends of the earth. don't wait to accept Him, time is almost up! ✝🕊
"And this is the way to have eternal life- to know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one You sent to earth. I brought glory to You here on earth by completing the work You gave Me to do. Now, Father, bring Me into the glory We shared before the world began." (John 17:3-5)

' "O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?"
The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.'
1 Corinthians 15:55-57
I was inspired by fellow Christian artist, Cephalosaur's works and decided to take a crack at it. I recommend you go follow the afformentioned artist and works ^^

The miracle of Jesus feeding a group of at least 5,000 people (that number doesn’t include women and children, so it definitely could’ve been about double that number!) is such a big miracle. And that passage has been one that’s spoken to me a lot as this school year started.
It really spoke to me in how this boy had so little with him… heck, it was TWO fishes and FIVE loaves of bread. And they were expecting to feed FIVE THOUSAND people!!! There was no way all that could be accomplished by one boy’s lunch!
But that didn’t stop him or the disciples from bringing what little they did have to Jesus.
They brought the little and gave Him such a small amount… and He was able to do so much more than they could possibly imagine with such a small meal.
It’s in our surrender and bringing our little before God that He’s able to do so much. He’s the one who performs the miracles and does so much work through what we already have✨
That was encouraging to me since I feel like I have so little to bring before Him. All I have is my heart and the talents He’s given me, and I have dreams that are so so big.
Dreams of reaching hundreds for Jesus… but I’m one person with so little.
But God says to bring it to Him anyway.
If there’s anything I can learn from the little lad and his lunch in Matthew 14, it’s that I can trust God to do so much more than I could imagine or ever do on my own.
So y’know what? I’m here to be all in for Jesus✨

Genesis 3
Tumblr media
A very well known story from the Bible that many people, even if they didn’t grow up with the Bible, know about.
I made them very cartoonish because I just found reading the section to be a chain of blaming. I have heard many just blame Eve but honestly when you think about it, both Adam AND Eve should have remembered God said no to the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
But when reading what Eve said, it is close to what God had command but clearly not close enough for her to be sure and instead take in the words of the serpent instead. Makes me want to be sure that if I say I believe in God, then I want to be able to reason why and be clear and according to His word to.

✝️ Matthew 18:12-13 ✝️
"..If a shepherd has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray? And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray."
