ABSOLUTELY AGREED. PLEASE!
Heyo Agatha All Along community,
Can we all agree to boycott that one account posting AI art on here? (@ / mmikaellaa)
It steals from actual fanartists: members of our community who pour their time into making art for us.
Thank you!

A warning about AI crap
@giannaaziz1998blog this user browses through art-related hashtags and steals your work, AI-fies it and posts with the same hashtags as in your original post. It could be a bot, it's getting hard to tell at this point. For example, that thing saw my post, stole my very old non-glazed sketch, slapped AI on it and posted with exactly the same hashtags, even though some of them aren't related to it. Also restricted replies, of course, and blocked me. Please, block and report them, I'm not the only artist who was "blessed" with this abomination.
P.S. - glaze your art if you can, people. That's the only way to protect your art at the moment.

AI Voice Scams - Don't Be Fooled, Your Trust is Their Playground!
Protect yourself from AI voice scams by staying vigilant and verifying sources. Let's fight back together! #AIVoiceScams #StaySafe
Your Voice, Their Weapon In today’s technologically advanced world, criminals are finding new ways to deceive and defraud unsuspecting individuals. One emerging threat is the rise of AI voice scams, where fraudsters employ artificial intelligence to mimic the voices of trusted individuals, aiming to trick victims into sharing personal information or parting with their hard-earned money. Ok, if you're a VA who uses commissions or art from image libraries, I'm gonna give some quick tips on how to avoid getting scammed or duped by AI images. It's getting harder and harder to avoid them. Besides the known visual signs, here's some red flags I've found the hard way.
If I want custom art, I normally commission or request it from people within the audio RP community, but there have been times when I used sites like Fiverr when on a time crunch. I myself almost got scammed there, so here are some easy red flags.
No line art or sketch option available on their pricing list. This is a big red flag. Actual artists usually allow this option.
No work in progress options offered by the seller. Revisions only offered when a complete product has been delivered. Real artists don't do this, and would rather get revision feedback at the sketch stage.
No interest in reference images. They're only interested in prompt input.
If you don't use custom art, be careful. A lot of image libraries are clogged with AI images now too. Most have them tagged. If you use any, be mindful to look for images tagged as AI-generated and avoid those platforms completely. Even paid libraries like Adobe Stock now have more and more AI shit clogging their output. If you're searching a platform like deviantArt and asking the artists permission to use an image of theirs, check their other art. If there's no consistent, discernible art style, they're probably posting AI shit. Avoid them too.
Also, look for all the other tell-tale signs of course, and never hurry. It's easy to get tricked if you just give a cursory glance. I've seen VAs get duped before and I very nearly got duped once on Fiverr before because I didn't look closely at the "artists" portfolio (I was thankfully able to get a refund after fighting tooth and nail for it). I've seen VAs that used to rely on services like Adobe Stock or free image libraries like Pixabay get duped when they started introducing AI to their stock images. I hate that this is an issue now but you have to be careful.
Anyway, I think the best option is to use art from people within the audio RP community. Showcase their work, buy commissions, whatever, just stick with people that you know are real human artists and part of the community. It's hell out there right now.

Posting this here too because fuck ‘em and they advertise everywhere: do not buy from or support @strikegentlyco . They’ve been caught using generative ai for a handful of their blanket designs. “By independent artists” my ass. They’ve since removed the ‘in collaboration with Dalle’ from the capybara blanket btw, this is 100% intentional.

Friendly reminder that this person uses AI for their "art" and I already saw plenty of likes on that Sable/Ghostface piece and that irks me that people may not know this. The worst part is that they don't tag their "art" as blatantly AI making people that even block AI related tags still see this.
Do NOT bother that person, just block and move on!

Warning to all writers on tumblr who use Microsoft Word to write their fanfics and original stories! Protect your works by disabling this ai function.
This is from November, so it has been around for a while, and many of you may already know about it, but in case you don't ❤️

An artist on here I found who’s been getting commissions has been using AI so here’s a post about what I’ve found.

Here is the piece that my friend sent to me asking “do you think this is AI?” And here is what I noticed.

All of what you see above are inconsistent with the skill of rendering you see above. And it’s not just this piece of work.

The amount of "Hyper-Realistic" Commissions popping up in the FFXIV community that are v clearly AI paintovers is actually awful rn. Seeing a lot of it in rando discord servers and stuff. Research your commissoners before getting art done. Don't pay for AI. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - Don't trust sketch processes that look too similar to the final product/look traced over. -Demand to see many WIPs that show the process between rendering, not just flat colors then sudden renders. -Be wary of varying style changes & ability between sketch and final product.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Be careful out there! Don't pay for scammers!

Hello everyone!! You're all looking lovely today<33
So this is not a fanfic, and I'm terribly sorry, I'm working on them. But I'm actually posting this to inform you all to be on the lookout for "AI art" accounts.
They usually start with "evil" (ex. @evil-witch-jenna, @evil-christmas, @evil-cox and more.) and they make some.. weird posts.
Especially evil-cox, I do not recommend looking at that account at all if you are not comfortable with images of breasts or sexualization of actresses. Or just any account for that matter.
What's the issue with them?
The issue is that they are spam posting AI generated images onto Tumblr under the tag "art" or "artists on Tumblr" when it's not art. It's a picture that AI generated for them from a prompt and.. creepy images at that.
Why do I have such an issue with it personally?
Well, for starters, it's just creepy and unsettling. But it's also been drowning out actual art on my feed and that makes me so sad. Also the fact that they keep posting these weird sexualized pictures of actresses is concerning, especially because in some pictures they take on a more child-like body.
Why should you beware of them?
Because ai "art" is wrong and giving them likes and reblogs encourages them. Just block them and call it a day, and I'm sure there's more accounts than I mentioned. I know some amazing artists who pour their time and effort into each drawing they make, and it's just insulting to see the tag made for their lovely work and many others being swamped with something that took maybe 5 seconds max.
Well, what if you're the owners of those accounts and you see this?
Stop posting. I will literally beg you to stop posting and delete your accounts. I do not condone bullying or pressuring someone off the internet but you have been told multiple times that it is creepy and you keep posting creepier and creepier things and act like a child when confronted anyway. Stop and go outside or learn how to draw and put some actual effort into artwork rather than posting creepy images of actresses with their breasts hanging out and a snake wrapped around them or an actress who is in a sexual pose with the body of a little girl. Stop it.
