Stardust and Tearduct AU is officially in the works!

Plot: When Dib was a toddler and Gaz was an infant, Prof. Membrane takes them to a meteor shower and finds a crashed ship. Inside the ship is Miyuki with unconscious Red and Purple and seemingly dead Smeet Zim. He helps her out, brings Zim back to life via electricity, removes both her and Red's and Purple's PAKs to give them a fresh start. Miyuki and Membrane get married to protect them both sides, and they raise Red (now called Flynn but also Red by his friends and family) and Purple (now called Mauve) and Zim as human children with no memories of before the crash after removing their PAKs. Miyuki disappears after 5 years (Dib and Zim: 7, Gaz: 5, Flynn and Mauve: 9 years old) of this special life and Prof. Membrane tells everyone she's in some hospital to try and help her mentally and physically but in truth he has no idea where she is.

Zim and Norman are online friends who never physically met due to Zim's insecurities about his "skin condition", live at the Membrane house and just started summer vacation nearing his sophomore year with Dib while Flynn (Red) and Mauve (Purple) will be Senior's by the end of the summer

Mauve is a influencer in his free time and online B.F.Fs with a girl named Clover Grace who seems to be living the life he wants, beautiful, popular, and travels the world

Coraline and Norman are cousins and decided to do a joint family vacation where both Coraline and Norman brough one friend to come visit, Norman's family comes in later though since it was easier for the Jones to arrive to Gravity Falls than the Babcocks

Danny is on a special summer trip to Gravity Falls with his class for their junior to senior year and his family decided to come with

Greg doesn't remember much about the Garden Wall but Wirt remembers it very clearly and is part of a paranormal forum to hopefully find someone who can answer all the unanswered questions while dealing with the trauma of it all. They visit Gravity Falls a bit later but is one of Dib's favorite online friends from the forums.

Powerpuff Girls is only mentioned as of right now in the drafts but will be more focused later on when the gang try to figure out what Chemical X is

SVTFOE is added and technically takes place sometime after season 2-3 but me and my friend kind of didn't like the final two seasons and did a serious rewrite with some details still there but we fixed a lot of the romances so be ready lol But they come in later as they leave Gravity Falls

W.I.T.C.H. happens about a year after the end of season two and are mostly online faces and names kind of like Clover but like the Totally Spies we will see them later and I even have a lil script ready for reactions of them using their powers!

This AU will be pretty serious and angsty since I'm pretty sure a majority of the cast will be very traumatized within their canon stories, but it'll also cover the feeling of identity and discovery with Zim, Flynn, and Mauve, varies forms of grief and depression, suicide attempts and mentions of suicide, and one scene that legit made me cry between Zim and Norman as they both talk about their childhoods, Coraline having sever Claustrophobia, etc.

Membrane will be a great dad in this AU as he should be, most positive about paranormal but plays the acts of a nonbeliever around his family since he swore to Miyuki to not tell them their origins without her present, which is harder when they seem to catch on and no one knows where she is.

I'm still debating dating but I will say the main "canon" within this AU will be building up Coraline and Wybie and Star, Marco, and Tom's whole romance thing is still canon with Star and Tom being exs and some feels happening. The W.I.T.C.H. girls have their relationships from season two but will be altered or changed since some are not that fleshed out and in the comics they kind of ruined some. In this AU Sam and Danny dated but didn't last much but they could get back together. I have seen SO MANY SHIPS related to crossovers, especially Mystery Kids, and honestly there's a lot of fair arguments of a lot of them! I've seen Dibper, Parapines, Pinescones, Gazble, Pasiciper (or whatever Dipper and Pasifica ship is called), etc. etc. If yall have possible ideas that aren't proshipping, I'd like to hear! Crack-shipping is also welcome as long as you give me some points of why!!

We have a nice little roster of villains since this is a AU which means other universes with other stories, characters, and villains! Including one of my favorite mini fandoms like Mystery Kids called "The Bad End Friends", a AU world of crossovers of the main characters who becomes villains/the villains won their universes. We'll have Invader Zib, Bipper, Beast Wirt, Ghost Coraline, canon Invader Zim, Dark Danny, and so much more!

Again, this AU is still being build/made as I'm going through. Scripts of certain scenes are already written and I'm even currently drawing out other minor villains of the series like bullies or even bad exs, thoughts and ideas are welcomed!

📚 Backstory 📚

Childhood: He had a pretty decent childhood, raised by his family of five and two dogs and lived on a ranch his brave scientist parents owned. Since birth he had shown how smart he is and enjoyed discovering new things. Most kids were jealous he passed classes and would exclude him in things which never bothered him, he was perfectly fine working by himself

Adolescence: His mother died via gas poisoning after years working in the lab, causing a huge rift against him and his dad that sadly never been fixed no matter what. He graduated highest of the grades and moved to Townsville to attend collage via a science scholarship

Young Adulthood: He's still awkward as usual but gotten along well with the other students in the science scholarship like Drake Utonium, plus with the fact he doesn't go home during holidays he spends more time studying and creating his first invention and research. He graduated a year earlier than planned and began his business after moving to Whiteham, buying a closed down factory as his new lab. He slowly started to feel lonely after his business picked up and upon remember his ideas of cloning the ranch animals and created Dib with similar methods of cloning with some changes of course. Dib's birth was a success and so he decided to make a sibling since he had a fun time being with his siblings growing up. When Gaz was born and Dib was turning one years old, he took them to a hill to watch the meteor shower, there he finds a huge hunk of junk and metal where a mysterious woman was clinging to three smaller forms as she barely stays awake. He takes them all back home and patches her up, learns her name is Miyuki and the Smeets she had were Red and Purple who were destined to be the next Tallests after she perish and Zim who she tells was defected at birth and sentenced to death. He removes Red and Purple's PAKs carefully (Zim didn't have his when found) and brought them back to laugh. He and Miyuki got close after all this and she stayed on Earth for him, raisin the Smeets as human children alongside Dib and Gaz. He invented a special wig that was applied to the Smeets that will feel, move, wash, and grow like normal hair once applied but their antennas do appear, which he and Miyuki instructed to always keep them hidden unless indoors and with them. He and Miyuki vowed to tell the kids the truth together, but then not long after the vow she disappeared. He searched for her but couldn't find her, so he decided to raise all five of them by himself as best as he can

Adulthood/Present Day: He's raising five children all by himself since the disappearance of his wife Miyuki as he also works hard as a world known scientists and researcher

Teen-Age Fair San Diego 1965 Enhanced version

"In late summer 1965, San Diego hosted something called the Teen-Age Fair on Mission Bay’s Vacation Isle. The 11-day event featured entertainment, dancing, surfing, water skiing and more. The first clip from Aug. 27, 1965 marks the start of the Teen-Age Fair which was opened by Congressman Lionel Van Deerlin and San Diego City Councilmembers Helen Cobb and Alan Hitch. Entertainment for night one was provided by surf-rock band The Challengers. A couple days later, the party was still raging on Aug. 29 and the fair had featured more than a dozen bands. On Sept. 3, our final clip shows the lead up to the Miss Teen Southern California pageant. The contest had been narrowed down to five finalists who are seen enjoying themselves throughout the fair before one of them was to be crowned the next day.

August 27, 1965 The Teen-Age Fair opened tonight on Mission Bay's Vacation Isle. This is a mammoth eleven day carnival which will feature everything from dancing, surfing and water skiing to a two million dollar exhibit. On hand for the six o'clock opening were Congressman Lionel Van Deerlin and council members Helen Cobb and Alan Hitch. Tonight's opening was also highlighted by the appearance of The Challengers with vocalist Jewel Akens. Top-flight entertainment is planned for every night this weekend and next.

August 29 A summery San Diego Sunday afternoon brought youngsters by the droves to the Teen Fair on Mission Bay--an event which got underway Friday evening and lasts another week. The entertainment featured no less than 14 rock and roll bands, and the sound and fury lasted until midnight. Besides the numerous displays of products with teen-age appeal, the fair features the latest in fashions for young men and women. Additional entertainment was provided by the Marines who gave a demonstration of judo and karate. September 3 The choice for Miss Teen Southern California has been narrowed to five finalists at the Teen-Age Fair at Vacation Isle in Mission Bay Park. 18 year old Barbara Lee Broderick, Miss Teen Escondido, tried out a motorbike at the fair this afternoon. The finals are Saturday night. Miss Teen Coronado, 16 year old Candy Wilson was surprised to discover the Beatle hairdo was only a wig. It's an event-crowded Midway. There's even a car crushing booth and 17 year old Mary Elizabeth Andrews, Miss Teen Castle Hills, helped batter the beat up automobile. Miss Teen Allied Gardens, 15 year old Beverly Ann Jara, will join the others in formal gown, bathing suit and talent competition on Saturday. The girls ganged up on Miss Teen Poway today. 17 year old Susan Marie Welp got a good dunking as a result of their marksmanship. The Fair ends Labor Day.

Bram Stoker's Hannibal Chapters 74, 75, and 76

I DID IT.

We have, at last, reached THE MOMENT we've all been waiting for.

I wrote all the way up to this moment and then slowly edited and released chapters just to make sure I covered everything I wanted to cover. Normally I just write a chapter, edit it, post it, move on. But I wanted to be extra careful that I didn't miss anything I wanted to include.

Chapter 74:

It's a Bottom Hanni chapter! Now, I know the top/bottom debate is always a thing, but I'm a firm believer in Bryan's designation that they switch. Normally I prefer to write bottom Will, but I also fully believe that Hannibal is a hedonist and would do anything that feels good, like getting railed by his mongoose. Also fun fact, being a vampire means you don't have to do much prep for anal because you don't eat food, and the immortal body can withstand plenty of abuse. So we do have some steamy bottom Hanni action in this chapter, as Will seems to search his lover's body for any evidence of... what exactly?

The gang heads back to Highgate and runs into the "bloofer lady" that's been kidnapping children and biting their necks...

Meanwhile, Hannibal and his wolf pack murder the zookeeper at the London Zoological gardens, who happens to be the Clark Ingram character. I didn't make him a serial killer in this AU, just a guy who likes to torture animals. I've always seen him as the anti-Peter Bernadone, who cares so deeply for every life large and small. So I thought it made sense to cast this motherfucker as the kind of guy who would beat caged wolves on the head with a wooden pole to make them compliant.

Seriously, fuck this guy.

Fun behind the scenes facts: The London Zoological Gardens were established as a place for the scientific study of animals, and to move the menagerie of creatures out of the Tower of London where they'd been kept since the 1100s. The Tower of London is haunted by the ghost of a bear that had been kept there.

Here are some time period pics from the zoo. You can see, of course, why the wolves begged Hannibal to help them escape.

Gribouille redevient Boireau (1912)

Now Boireau, he is rushed onto set where a bit more chaos ensues before he addresses the camera directly and assures us in pantomime that he will keep making films and that his heart is here in France.

The second (Beverly Adams) has to look out for the consequences of too ruthlessly pursuing fame in Hollywood. Her cousin (Barbara Ewing) has to look out for a boy and his piano possessed by his dead mother. The final customer (Jack Palance) is an avid Poe fanboy who is at risk of taking his obsession too far. Dr. Diabolo is not a simple carny though, so these glimpses into their respective futures may give them an opportunity to change their fates.

This month, I watched a silly amount of silent comedy shorts because I’m reading Steve Massa’s Slapstick Divas and wanted to sort of watch along. I put together a little list of some of the highlights in case you all are also interested in the women of early silent comedy: “‘Film Comedy’s Eves’ Watchalong”

REMEMBER: ONE WORD PROMPT = CHENFORD ONE SHOT

========== Tim was driving his girls to school and work one morning.

Normally they’d hop on Franklin and zip across town missing the most of traffic, but with the first Republican Presidential candidate debates happening tonight downtown, half the main thoroughfares were blocked forcing all the locals onto the same cross town streets: Beverly, Melrose, Wilshire and Olympic. Somehow they had ended up on Melrose inching along through the design district, miscellaneous fashion houses and restaurants peppered between tourist traps and hookah lounges.

Diana, who at age 11 -soon to be 12 - was poised to rule the world, notices the sign first.

What once had been a flagship Vans store, was now transformed into a two story sushi restaurant. The second floor had been converted into an outdoor garden deck with a massive steel pergola and covered in every color cherry blossom; guests could sit in booths or at the main sashimi counter plucking raw delicacies from the ever moving track around the bar. The street facing, first floor wall once covered by floor-to-ceiling windows, now looms over pedestrians strolling by - a solid black wall of dark mahogany, broken only by a 7’ x 7’ red door and a massive digital video screen.

“Mom!” Diana gasped. “They turned on the sign - LOOK AT THAT!!”

Lucy, who has been reading boring but important work emails, turned to glance past Tim and saw a giant red octopus on the screen (see image above), it’s tentacles appearing to press up against the screen and freeze - while a black message appeared, overlaying the giant mythical beast:

寿司ー ��し身ー Tako

“Yep - Tako is the name of the restaurant and Japanese for Octopus! Mom - we HAVE to go there! We never do anything cool, and going there? Sitting up on the roof, with celebrities and influencers? Oh man, that’d be so cool!” I bet Uncle Aaron could get us a reservation there.”

Lucy and Tim share a quick smile and rolling of the eyes at their daughter who was barreling along into her teenage years desperate to be “cool” especially since her parents, apparently, had been officially deemed “not cool.”

“Di - do you even like sushi? Your nose gets all scrunched up any time your mom offers you any of her take-out?” Tim asks his daughter, internally chuckling at the image in his mind.

Whereas their eldest son had Lucy’s coloring and his height and eyes, their daughter had his mom’s gorgeous dark blond hair with copper highlights, Lucy’s eyes, smile and curves and some of Tim’s height. Their youngest, TJ, was a mix of Lucy’s Black Irish Bio-dad and Tim’s blond-Ken-doll dad. TJ’s eye shape was the only physical resemblance to Lucy. Deep, crystal clear, mossy green eyes and thick black wavy hair. Both Kai and TJ loved anything from the sea. Diana, like her Dad, was more likely to sneer out of the corners of their eyes at the sushi.

“Who says I’m going to eat anything raw? Bleah. No, I’ll eat edamame and tempura shrimp and seaweed salad and go to be near all that fame and fortune. That’s the goal - to hob and knob with people.”

Lucy turns to Tim and suppresses a giggle - “Hob. And knob” she mouths to Tim. Their girl was gearing up to give them a wild ride through their teenage years. Diana films the octopus gliding across the big screen for herself and sends a copy to her little brother because he’d love it.

When Lucy got home that night after a relatively uneventful shift, she found the main interior lights dimmed. Her “mom hearing” lets her know her kids are all home, safe and sound. But her husband is not where she expects to find him - in the kitchen, reading the paper, with entertainment news playing quietly in the background.

She puts the take out bags on the counter, along with her purse and keys. She then moves to the secret safe in the pantry and locks her badge and gun behind the peanut butter cups. She knows Tim is home, because she parked behind his truck on the driveway, but he hasn’t yet greeted her with a hug and kiss. Weird.

The dogs, however, sensing a new person who might give them treats came rushing at her from the far corners of the house where her kids were doing whatever after dinner, they all promptly sat down when Lucy told them to, and each received a cow’s ear to chew on, heading back out to hang with their person for the rest of the night.

Each Bradford (including Tim & Lucy) adopted a pup from the pound in memory of Kojo - king of canines. A picture of Lucy, Tim and Kojo sits prominently on the fireplace mantel with the rest of the family photos.

Lucy and Tim’s dogs were a hilarious brother and sister duo - Alaskan Klee Kais who had ridiculous personalities. Think mini huskies, Tim’s dog - Vivian- and Lucy’s dog - Elvis - were polar opposites. Vivian would usually be found on the back of the sofa in the game room with the boys, front legs crossed and thrilled to be part of the action. where Elvis followed Tim around all day long whining, moaning and complaining that he was being treated unfairly. Although lately, he’d discovered a certain part of the upstairs hallway with phenomenal acoustics and like his husky cousins, would yell and howl, sounding like a siren. Now that the kids were older, Tim spent most of his days arguing with Elvis. The kids had all opted for lab mixes of various sizes, colors and hair types.

But neither Elvis nor Tim came as treats were handed out. Huh. Lucy grabbed two treats for Elvis, obviously, and started her tour of the house ending up in their TV room - originally an artists studio off of the master bedroom, which Lucy and Tim converted into their own private space away from slobbering dogs and kids to watch movies not made by Disney and make out on the super comfy sofa. Lucy found both of them sprawled out on the floor - Elvis had his head on Tim’s thigh and barely lifted his head in greeting Lucy. She noticed Tim had their infrared blanket underneath his torso and he was conked out and snoring, dead asleep at 7pm.

“God, he is so handsome.” Lucy thought to herself. Even after 15 years of marriage, three kids, 5 dogs, two chinchillas, and a tarantula, Tim was in phenomenal shape, and Lucy thought he got more handsome as he aged. At 57, he continued to look relaxed, tan and extremely happy. He smiled all the time and loved being a stay-at home dad. He now sported a dark beard with gray edges, wire rimmed glasses for reading, which Lucy found insanely sexy, and deep laugh lines around his devastating smile.

She quickly ducked into their bedroom and changed into one of his LAPD shirts and Indian sari pj bottoms before she crept into the other room and snuggled up next to her husband and spread a blanket over them and the dog.

Tim woke up 30 minutes later to the smell of jasmine (Lucy!) and mad dog chomping in his ear (Elvis….). First thing he did was reach down and reset the infrared blanket for another 60 minutes and upped the temp to 110. His back was sore from the extra effort of the day. He then next turned to Elvis, grabbed the dog’s cow ear and threw it into the hallway knowing the dog would soon follow.

Finally he turned to his bride and pulled her into his side. “Hi” he murmured. 18 years after that first roll call when they first met, he still could not believe how beautiful she was. That this gorgeous and smart and thoughtful woman gave him three astounding kids, their own menagerie of creatures great and small, and that she chose him to love and adore. He thanked his lucky stars every chance he could because this life with Lucy was so much more amazing than anything he ever dreamed possible.

“Hi”, Lucy murmurs back leaning in for her welcome home kiss. She smiles at him and he smiles at her, and she asks him - “Why are you here on the floor? Rough day?”

Tim laughs out loud, and says, “The next time TJ needs a chaperone for a field trip with 20 of his fellow first graders, please do not let me be one of the volunteers. While there were moments of hilarity - like when TJ went off on Ms. Dodson for standing too close to me. I’ll let him tell you how he defended your honor.

Today was exhausting.

Each chaperone was responsible for four first graders - four 6 year-olds. At the aquarium in Long Beach.

There was a Shark exhibit which was cool, but the focus and the reason we were there was for the octopus exhibit. There are some freaky octopi out in the ocean. (Tim shudders), if I never have to hear a random factoid about them or see one ever again, it’ll be too soon.

At one point, TJ got scared and came and sat on my foot like he does sometimes, and then without warning, I suddenly was covered in 6 year-olds. I was able to stand up and do my “hulk thing” I do with the nephews, but I couldn’t go very far, they kept falling off and I pulled something in my back and that was within the first 30 minutes . We were there for three hours. Uncle! No more kids, no more octopuses, just no more. I wanna lie here with my sweetie and her weirdly quiet dog and forget the 8-legged-aliens.”

Lucy could not stop laughing at the image in her head of Tim covered with their littlest and his classmates. She is sure Tim loved every second of it - even Ms. Dodson making him blush. Tim still got flustered when other women flirted with him.

She snuggled closer to him and said, “Oof. Then I suppose you don’t want to come downstairs and share my grilled octopus tacos from the “cool” sushi restaurant we drove past this morning? No Tako tacos for you, huh? What about two fully loaded animal-style cheeseburgers with fries from In ‘N Out with a Neapolitan shake? Would that entice you to come have dinner with me downstairs?”

Tim leans in and kisses her and says, “You asking is enough to entice me. But yeah, the burgers sound awesome. You can give Diana the Tako take out bag and maybe up our “cool” quotient. We are gonna need all the help we can get.”

Every Tube Station! 2 and 3/272 - Hammersmith

Welcome back, to my second adventure around the tube. This week, Hammersmith! Note there are two Hammersmith stations - one for Circle and H&C services, and one for Piccadilly and District line services. My main reason for going here today was to visit the IKEA. I wanted ginger biscuits.

The high street just outside the station has many shops and cafes, as well as the shopping centres. There were also plenty of tall buildings to take nice photos of :).

After a short walk around the shops, I made my way to Frank Banfield park, then to the riverside, to get some nice shots. The walk along the river then across Hammersmith Bridge was very scenic. I also stumbled across 'This Garden', what seems to be someone's personal flower garden project. The photo opportunities were beautiful.

I intended to make my way to the London Wetland Centre, a local nature reserve, but I didn't realise you had to pay for entry, and it was closing soon, so I decided to go to Beverly Brook instead. Around it was a very scenic park/woods, which I almost got lost in. It was very reminiscent of a scout hike actually, with muddy paths, many trees, and far too little footpath signage. You never felt too far removed from London though, as every few minutes you could hear a plane overhead, on its way to Heathrow. Everything aside, it was an incredible place for photography.

I was about ready to go home, but then I realised part of the district line was off - I would have to take the bus! (omg) Either way, it was another pleasant walk along the river to Putney Bridge. On the way there, though, part of the road had flooded! (there's been some rain the last few days, although I wouldn't've said it's any more than usual) Anyway, more photos!

I then headed to the gym at my uni, after which I headed home. However, the District line was still off, so I instead walked through Kensington Gardens to make it to Queensway. This led to some beautiful sunset photos.

So, this marks the end of my day! Hope you guys enjoyed reading / the photos. I'll make a second post just for extra photos that wouldn't fit here. And catch you guys next time! I'm not sure where to go next, any suggestions?

Unless otherwise prohibited by State or Federal law, no person shall install, place, operate, or maintain within the City any cigarette vending machine. "Cigarette vending machine" shall mean any self-service device which, upon insertion of money or tokens, dispenses cigarettes or electronic cigarettes without the necessity of replenishing the device between each vending operation.
