Holly McClain: I don't know if anyone remembers her—she's only on screen for a minute, mostly dominated by digs at her appearance—but she has always stuck out to me because even though she still ends up murdered, she fought back against her attacker and gets critical dna evidence in the process
Chantara: So iconic for a character who's face we never even saw
Don't like this propaganda? Reblog it with your own or send some in my askbox
To jog your memory, here are the episodes they're from:
2Shy: Meeting insecure women through an online service, a serial killer seduces his prey with the right words. However, Mulder and Scully determine these killings are far from ordinary by the presence of a strange substance coating the victims, a substance which seems to digest the fatty acids in flesh.
X-Cops: A filming of an episode of COPS gets in the way of the collaborative effort between the FBI and the local police department. Mulder later finds out that the monster feeds on fear. While Mulder embraces the publicity, Scully is not so sure of it. The episode was filmed as if it were an authentic episode of the TV series COPS.

ONCE UPON A TIME 2011-2012
You've made your vows, now I make mine: soon everything you love, everything all of you love, will be taken from you forever. Out of your suffering will rise my victory. I shall destroy your happiness if it is the last thing I do.

“The House that Dripped Blood”
-several horror segments all take place in one location; an all star cast shows up and entertains us
-a surprise to me is how actor Denholm Elliot upstages everyone with his segment about an author seeing in real life a character from his new book.
+when you are outshining Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee, you are splendidly talented
-Speaking of the former, still another segment notes a (in character) snobby horror actor proclaiming “the true classics; invisible man, Frankenstein, Dracula....the Bella Lugosi version, not that new guy...”
-hohohoho, say I
-equally amusing is the sheer irritation and contempt the detective has for hearing (to him) these bullshit superstitions
-I don’t think I’ve ever seen a film keep cutting away to flashbacks/side stories in the same location. Nifty
-part of me wonders if there a small influence on the first treehouse of horror, which (mostly) has the same conceit
-this was written by Robert Bloch, and here again does a person rather ponderously explain everything we just saw, but in verbal form
-yes, it’s this timeline’s version of “the ending of ‘x’ explained”
-agreeable time, but needs more cheeses and wine

Sometimes its common that some films comes out without my knowledge, particularly non-Hollywood English language films. This British film was about a wealthy couple from the New York, especially the husband who tries his best to fulfill his seriously ill wife’s dream to be an opera singer. The problem is she’s not any good. Not just him, but everybody who is close to them and once laughed at her, try to understand them and give their support. But not all the occasion seems to remain the same. So on one such a big event, the disaster strikes and how it affects the couple is the rest of the tale to disclose. A very surprising film. I thought it was just a comedy like it brings small smiles on our face, but I laughed out loud on many occasions. This is definitely a right time, because I felt like it was a music and cinematic version of the American presidential candidate Don Trump. Yep, there not much difference, but still this ...

Hallmark’s A World Record Christmas is one of the most beautifully wholesome Christmas movies to air in ages. It’s thoughtfully written and full of the kind of honest performances that will genuinely leave a mark. In every way where it matters, it’s the film people will need during the holiday season, full of the representation that’s all too rare in this industry.
Starring Nikki Deloach, Aias Dalman, Lucas Bryant, Daphne Hoskins, Beverley Elliott, April Telek, Alison Wandzura, and more, A World Record Christmas centers around Charlie (Dalman), an autistic boy who dreams of breaking a world record in order to see his biological father return. Hallmark Movies and Mysteries take on heavy themes frequently, but they don’t always stick the landing, making them feel too syrupy instead of organic at times. However, Mark Hefti and Antonio Cupo nail every beat of this narrative, allowing it to stand out as a gorgeous exhibition of acceptance wrapped up in the foundation of family’s love.
