Hello, everyone!
In light of Neil Gaiman's comment that Amazon is close to officially renewing Good Omens but hasn't done so yet, I think those of us who can should start sending physical postcards to Amazon Studios!
The TL;DR of this post is that you can easily send a postcard from MyPostcard.com for about $3 (USD, I'm sure other currencies can vary). The Web site will print and mail it for you, so you don't have to do any printing or mailing yourself. The postage is included in the $3.
If you don't already have an image or card you want to use, you can just use one of mine above. Some of them are small because of small source images, but the site seems to resize them appropriately for the card. There are bigger versions in a Google Drive folder that you shouldn't have to be logged in to see.
You can send the postcards asking for a third season of Good Omens addressed to Jennifer Salke and Vernon Sanders, co-heads of Amazon Studios, at:
AMAZON STUDIOS 1620 26TH STREET, SUITE 4000N SANTA MONICA, CA 90404 USA
@fuckyeahgoodomens was the first to post this contact information for Amazon, so thank you, Ixi.
If it's something you don't mind, I would very deeply appreciate reblogs on this, since it works better if lots of people see it! No pressure if you don't want to, though.
And if you have Questions, click through below for my reasoning on all this.
Why should we send postcards to Amazon Studios?
We've made lots of noise online about renewal, and we've done a lot of streaming Good Omens. But I haven't seen much discussion of sending physical mail or, specifically, postcards.
Mail takes up space in the real world. It's slightly harder to ignore than email. It's way more attention-grabbing than posts on X or Tumblr or any other social media site. Because postage is required, physical mail can also appear more "committed."
Postcards specifically are great because of their convenience for the recipient. No one has to open them to read them. All it takes is a quick glance to see what we're asking for, and realistically, a quick glance is the best we can ask for in a corporate office. That's why I'm emphasizing postcards over regular letters (although really, anything helps).
Is sending postcards really going to motivate Amazon to make more Good Omens?
Postcard and letter-writing campaigns have helped get shows renewed in the past. Star Trek: The Original Series is a good example of a series that got another season after a letter-writing campaign. This article has more examples.
We don't actually know what's going on in Good Omens's case. Maybe postcards would make a difference; maybe they wouldn't. We can only make our most determined effort at making sure we're heard, and sending mail is part of that.
The cost of sending a postcard is too much for me.
I understand that sending a postcard will not be an option for many of us. This post isn't intended to try to push you into spending money you don't have. If you still want to find a way to participate, you can also send an email to [email protected] with your comments about wanting Good Omens 3. It's not physical mail, but it is still a personal message from a customer.
In fact, people who are sending postcards might want to follow up with an email, too.
Do we have to use your postcard designs?
No! Not necessarily! You can use anything.
As long as the message you write includes how much you want Good Omens 3, your postcard's image doesn't necessarily have to relate. You could send a souvenir postcard that says "Greetings from Los Angeles, CA / Tadfield, England / etc" from your local post office and just write your message on the back.
Technically, even a plain index card should be thick enough to mail as a postcard, at least by USPS standards. Just write your desire for Good Omens 3 on it, put a stamp and Amazon's address on it, and make sure it's at least 90mm x 127mm (3.5in x 5in).
Isn't Amazon Studios going to notice a bunch of postcards being mailed from the same Web site?
I'm sure they will. But the messages will each be unique, and again, they'll know each card represents a person who had to order the card and postage themselves.
Speaking of unique messages, what should I write?
One sentence is enough. Definitely indicate that you want Season 3 of Good Omens. If you want to add more, you could also write a sentence or two about how much you love the series so far.
Above all, be polite and straightforward! Remember that sarcasm and jokes often do not come across well in print, so it may be best to stick with simple statements that can be taken at face value.
What address should the cards go to?
The co-heads of Amazon Studios appear to be Vernon Sanders and Jennifer Salke; you can address them by name, although I'm guessing it will be someone else who does the reading/glancing.
Amazon Studios's address is:
AMAZON STUDIOS 1620 26TH STREET, SUITE 4000N SANTA MONICA, CA 90404 USA
Where did you get these images?
The images for the nightingale postcard and the Crowley postcard are screencaps from directedbypiper.
The Please Do Not Lick the Walls and Fell the Marvelous posters were downloads from the Amazon X-Ray feature.
The Nice and Accurate Prophecies postcard was adapted from cover art I did for A Nice and Interpretive Fanzine. Most of it is my own, although the mottled background is an extremely blurred version of a free stock texture from Pixabay, users chrisfiedler and/or humusak.
The bookshop postcard is a promotional image from Amazon used in a Den of Geek article.

Single Parent (1)
confections of the heart by pleasinglouis 25k
Harry chuckles, smiling when Louis’ breath hitches as he reaches up to brush his thumb over Louis’ cheek. “Louis, would you like to go on a date with me?”
He still worries that the date won’t go well, that Harry will get bored of him or decide it’s too complicated dating an omega with a pup, but he nods anyway, “Yes.”
It feels worth it when Harry’s lips widen into a grin and the dimple that Louis finds quite charming craters into his cheek. Who knows, maybe it won’t be as awkward as you think, Louis thinks to himself and follows Harry to where Oliver is watching a chef with a loud laugh show the pup how to sculpt with chocolate. Maybe this time it’ll work out.
.
.
Or Louis is a single mom, Harry is a pastry chef, and Oliver just wants his mom to be happy. With a teaspoon of love and a sprinkle of fate, the three might just find a home in each other.
darling, ill take care of you by louly23 20k
Louis watches the strip turn pink in the shitty employee bathroom of Donny stadium on a Wednesday evening in early April, 2008, and all she can fucking think as she sits there on the too-low, rickety old toilet seat that’s three fucking inches away from the sink with her nasty work khakis and Ann Summers underwear around her skinny 17-year-old ankles, 12,000,000 miles up Shit Creek with zero fucking paddles, is: I don’t even fucking like taquitos.
Across the ocean, in a small dingy-looking hallway in the shadiest part of Los Angeles, 16 year old Harry Styles tries to calm her breathing and wipe the sweat from her palms before she enters her very first audition as a fully grown, adult actor, a very long ways away from home.
...or Louis has a 7-year-old daughter, she's in a band, and apparently whenver she and that actor chick in the custom floral suits get near each other the internet loses it's shit.
With A Little Kindness by jacaranda_bloom 33k
The man lays his hand on Harry’s forearm and Harry looks up as the stranger leans in. “I just wanted to say,” he whispers. “Can I cover your bill? I’m a big believer in paying it forward and I can see you’re struggling. It’s none of my business, of course, but I’d really like to help.”
OR the one where Harry is a struggling single parent who doesn’t have time for relationships and Louis is a generous stranger who is unlucky in love, until fate decides to step in and bring them together.
Took Me by Surprise by QuickedWeen 20k
Louis Tomlinson and his best friend Bridget had a daughter when they were very young and he was on the brink of becoming the next MLS star. Until he blew out his knee.
A decade later, he's the head anchor of the American version of Match of the Day and is raising the coolest nine-year-old on the planet, who happens to be obsessed with Harry Styles - popstar, musician, and all-around household name.
tangled up and blue by thepolourryexpress 30k
Kai just shakes his head, making his way down the small batch of stairs with a hop in his step. “Have fun on your weird adult date.”
Harry sighs. “It’s not a date.”
“Dad, you already have him in your bed most nights,” Kai sings, walking backwards towards Louis’ car with an insufferable smirk on his face. “It’s not looking too good for you,” he shrugs, hands curled around the straps of his backpack.
Deep in His Eyes (I Think I See A Future) by FallingLikeThis 5k
Louis is a single father with twins, Davis and Ethan. Harry is the cute nursery school teacher that volunteers at the town’s fair.

Louis is a widower whose daughter's fish just died. He panics, then ends up meeting Harry, a marine biologist who is out to steal his heart.

Louis is Harry’s bodyguard.
When Everything Gets In The Way by Kiwiwoman 16k
Louis is Harry's professor who holds his baby in lectures.
I’ll Call You Mine by KennieWen 13k
"Harry isn’t superstitious, doesn’t knock on wood, or wish on shooting stars, but his position on ‘love at first sight’ becomes increasingly wishy-washy as his mind begins to comprehend blue, blue, blue. He feels his heart constrict and tongue go dry. The man before him is the most beautiful omega he has ever seen in his entire life."
Or: A self indulgent Omega/Omega fic with a teacher/single parent of favorite student trope.
Right Beside You Is Where I Belong by lovelarry10 46k
“Harry, hi, I thought it was you,” Louis said as they came to a stop in front of him, Teddy by now sound asleep in his pushchair. “I hope I’m not holding you up?”
“Not at all,” Harry insisted, smiling down at Piper who was peering shyly up at the stranger in front of her. “I’m really glad we’ve seen you, actually. Pip, there’s someone I’d really love you to meet, sweetheart.”
Piper shuffled a little closer, clinging on to Harry’s shorts as he set a hand on her shoulder, willing her to relax. “Hello.”
“Hi!” Louis said, giving her a little wave, making Harry’s tummy flip over, loving how easy Louis seemed to be with his children. “I love your top. Sunflowers are my favourite.”
.•° ✿ °•.
Harry lives on his farm in the British countryside with his two children, loving the peace and quiet of his surroundings.
Louis is a writer who lives in the city, and decides it is time to take a break, to recharge and find some inspiration for his next book.
When Harry's daughter is left heartbroken by the unkindness of strangers, Louis decides it is time to right some wrongs, but doesn't expect to be reunited with the one who got away...
Wonder How I Ever Made It Through by lovelarry10 9k
Prompt 106: The shame at being incapable of it yourself.
Louis loved his home and his neighbourhood. It made jogging more enjoyable. But when a boy with curly hair moves into a home down the street, neither of these men realise what changes are coming their way.
Or Harry and Louis realise that all they need to be strong is love.
To Begin Again by lovelarry10 23k
“I, uh, I’m really sorry for yelling at you like I did.”
“Hey, I deserved it and more. I’m lucky you didn’t come and deck me on the nose,” Louis said, holding his hands up as if to surrender. “Seriously, you went lightly on me. If a crazy dog was leaping around me and my kids, I’d have lost my shit long before you did, and it would have been a lot more sweary than yours as well.”
Harry laughed at that, quite liking the man now he was getting to know him. This Louis seemed to have a good sense of humour, and his dog was fairly likeable too, laying there sound asleep, sunbathing.
“Well, I don’t usually lose my temper, so I just wanted to apologise.”
“It’s me who needs to say sorry. My stupid dog ate their bloody eggs, and on Easter Sunday at that. It’s a good job we don’t go to church, Cliff, or we’d both be going straight to hell. Nice ears, by the way. I meant to say earlier.”
**✿❀○❀✿**
Harry’s ready to spend a fun Easter morning with his two children at the park, but it’s thrown into chaos when an over-excited dog and his owner come barrelling into their lives…

Somewhere in Los Angeles, Sam was relaxing in his living room, bathing underneath the sunlight that was translucent through the skylight with a book on his hand and soft music echoing throughout the house. From an outside perspective, the actor looked something out of a painting that could rival the Mona Lisa herself. Sam looked almost like an angel, graced by the gods themselves. He looked like the marble statue you see in museums, the kind his fans always compared him to. But, the serenity ended when his phone rang on the side table next to him. A custom ringtone made especially for his best friend contrasted the music playing in the background.
He marked the page he was on, close the book, and scoot closer to where his phone was. A picture of you and him on the screen, smiling and drunk out of your minds after an after party for his friend’s movie premiere. Usually you were the responsible drinker out of the two but Sam managed to convince you to let loose. It was a great night apart from the hangover the two of you had the next day. His phone stopped vibrating when he pressed the answer button and was met with a slight nervous tone from his.
“I did it.”
Sam leaned back, his arm on the back of the couch. “Hello to you too, sweetie. What did you do?”
“I did the thing. Like just a few minutes ago.”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about.” He did. He just loves to tease you.
You groaned. “Yes, you do. Cut the crap, Sam.”
“You’re no fun, y/n.” Sam smiled. “Well, this Wilbur guy is sure is something if you slide to his DM this fast. Usually, it’ll take you a few more days and a lot more conviction from yours truly.”
“It’s not like that.” You sighed. “Have you seen social media lately? And what happened when you pick me up at the airport the other day?”
Sam’s tone immediately turn from playful to serious. “Fucking pricks. Are you sure you’re okay? They didn’t grab you or anything?”
“Like I told you about a hundred times before, yes, I’m fine. Why’d you think I call you to pick me up? They’re kinda scared of you, Sam.”
Sam shook his head, chuckling.
“But, seriously though, I’m just kinda worry if the same thing is happening to him. I guess I just want to apologize.”
“y/n, you know it’s not your fault if they do right?”
“Yes, I’m well aware of that but still I could’ve just DM’ed him instead of tweeting at him. I’m basically saying ‘hey guys, this guy right here? yeah, this is the one.’”
“Okay, no more of that. When it comes to this kinda stuff, it’s going to be out of your control. So, I don’t want you to think it’s your fault even a little bit cause it’s not.”
“Thanks, Sam. I really appreciate that.”
“Don’t mention it, sweet stuff.” He smiled. “So, has he texted you back yet?
“Nope, not yet. I keep looking at my phone to see if he has but I think that makes it worse.”
Sam shook his head again. “You are what they call a simp, y/n. Do you want me to come over?”
“Yes, please. And no, I am not a simp.”
“Suit yourself.”
~~
With glass filled wine in both of their hands, you and Sam lounged on the sofa. A record playing on the vinyl, something that Sam got for you as a house warming gift when you bought the house. It was the same one he had on his own home. He bought it for you, alongside the record that was playing, because he remembered how badly you wanted one when he first invited you to his home.
When you heard a car pulled up on the driveway, you didn’t have to look on the window to see who it was. Sam, without a care in the world, just trudged inside, went straight towards the kitchen, rummaged the cabinets for a bottle of wine and two glasses before finally sitting next to you. It wasn’t something out of the ordinary for him to do that. You do the same whenever you pay him a visit. Sometimes it felt like you were even worse because sometimes you rummaged his closet for something to wear.
“Honestly, I might not take that role for that Netflix show. It’s a good script, but I met one of the showrunner and I just feel like he’s an ass—and you’re not listening to me.”
You blinked rapidly when Sam snapped his fingers in front of you.
“Yes, I am. I’m just not focused on you. I can multitask, you know.”
“Right, sure.” He rolled his eyes. “It’s been what—an hour? Maybe he’s busy or asleep, y/n. Time zone exists, you know.”
You sighed. “Yeah, you’re right. I should—”
Your eyes immediately went wide. Your body straighten up. That was a notification pop up that you saw. Sam frowned at your sudden change in behavior. Before he could turned around, you put down your glass and dove for your phone that Sam had thrown behind him on the couch when that’s all you could focus on.
“Jesus Christ, you almost spill wine on both of us, you fucker. What the fuck was that? I’ve never seen you move that fast.”
You turned to him, still lying on his lap, a grin on your face. “Sorry. I saw a notification.”
“If it’s not him, I’m going to remind you about this till we’re both dead.”
“But, it is him.”
“I’m still gonna do it,” Sam mumbled, sipping his wine.
Hey wilbur, it’s y/n
How are you?
oh hi
i’m good, how r u?
Sam saw you do nothing, fingers hovering above the keyboard. “You gonna say something there?”
“Hold on, I’m thinking.”
“What’s there to think about? Just say ‘Yeah, I’m good. Thank you for asking. I think you’re cute. Do you wanna go on a date with me?’”
You turned around again, glaring at him. “I will spill that wine on you.”
“Try me, sweet stuff.”
I’m good. Thx for asking :)
Can I talk to you about something?
“Really, a smiley face? What are you a teenager?”
“Get off my back, you jerk.”
“I will if you get off my lap.”
“Fine.” You huffed.
You squirmed back up with much struggle. At one point you pressed your elbow to Sam’s thigh making him jerk up his leg, almost hitting you in the face with his knees. You let out a sorry while he slips up a curse word and proceeded to put distance between the two of you. You missed the glare he gave your way when you typed a reply to Wilbur.
of course. go ahead.
i’m just wondering if there has been people approaching you about me
oh you mean the articles and all that stuff?
“He knows about the articles, Sam.” You looked up at your friend, pouring wine into his glass again.
“Talk to me when the good stuff is happening.”
It was your turn glaring at him.
Uh yeahh
I’m really sorry about that btw
These people have no sense of respect over boundaries when it comes to this kinda stuff
well it’s not your fault I’m sure
and to answer your question, yes there’s been a few people here and there
mostly emails about an interview
Oh god
Again, I am so sorry
again, I’m sure it’s not your fault
it’s alright really
on the bright side tho, my bands been getting a lot attention thanks to you
Well, i think you guys deserve it
You guys are great
thank you
You fingers hovered above the keyboard again, falling short of a response to keep the conversation going. Sam noticed this and decided to scoot closer to you. He took a peek at your phone, humming—a giveaway that he was thinking—before looking at you.
“Didn’t you say his band was going on tour?”
“Yeah...”
“Then ask him about that.”
“Okay, okay.” You nodded, before moving your finger again.
I saw that lovejoy is going on tour soon
yeah actually this is our second one
any plans on going to the states?
playing our first festivals there too
really? that’s awesome to hear
Well, hopefully I’ll get to see you guys in one of them
wait really?
Yeah, I am big fan of yours
Sam noticed you smiling. “I take it things are going well?”
You looked up from your phone. The effort to try and hide your smile failed miserably when Sam gave you his signature teasing smile. He wiggled his brows and you had to roll your eyes at his antics.
“Yes, things are going good. Thanks for the advice.”
Sam sighed, leaning back on the couch. A smug look in his face. “Am I good wingman or what?”

Some of my suits are ten to twenty years old, many of them ready-made and reasonably priced. Those that were custom-tailored were made by many different tailors in many different cities: London, Hong Kong, New York and Los Angeles. I believe that American ready-made clothes are the best ready-made clothes in the world: that the well-dressed American man makes a better appearance than the well-dressed man of any other country. — Cary Grant, 1962

Can you do a story where your boss tells you that “you are not an elite employee”?
Okay 😅
SEVEN DAYS OF REQUESTS (DAY 3)
Dusan Vlahovic x Reader - Elite Employee Part 1/2
Part 2
Tumblr media
Enjoy!
You arrived to work a bit nervous about the day ahead. It was your first time running the showroom alone, however your boss trusted you with the task at hand, the rest was probably all in your head.
"Y/N, are you ready?" Your boss smiled upon your arrival to the Jeep car dealership were you worked. She wore her usual blue pants suit and a pink scarf around her neck. Her makeup up was a bit too much for your liking, however a lot of ladies her age did their makeup up that way.
"I'm a bit nervous." You admitted.
"Don't be." She smiled. A fake smile. "You're one of my elite employees. You'll do great out on the floor."
"Thanks boss."
"And CEO." She corrected.
"Right. Boss and CEO."
"And don't you forget it." She laughed, an artificial laugh that sounded more like a howling duck. "I'll be in my office if you need me honey."
With that being said, she left you to get a head start on your day. It was a sunny summer day in Los Angeles, and the car dealership that you worked for was located in an obscure part of the city, so there weren't a lot of buyers coming in today.
Up until lunchtime you had occupied yourself with setting up the showroom, making sure everything was neat and tidy. The cars that were currently on display were two of the newest Jeep models. However the price of the vehicles were scary to look at. Even scarier trying to sell to an interested costumer. Good thing that the usual clients to come into the shop were loaded middle aged men, looking for new toys to show off their riches.
"Excuse me, do you work here?"
However, the costumer that you had to deal with today did not fit the usual profile.
"Um...yes. Yes, I do." You put down the feather duster in your hand, straightening your skirt before rushing over to the front desk. You were not really prepared to deal with a customer so early in the day.
"Great. My name is Dusan Vlahovic. I'm supposed to test drive the Jeep Wrangler and this is where they told me to come and pick it up.
"Test drive?" You frowned at the man, who wore a black tracksuit to a billion dollar car dealership.
He looked a bit taken back by your reaction, not to mention, the way that your judging eyes fell upon his sneakers.
"May I ask who sent you?" You said, trying to maintain a professional tone despite the man's questionable attire.
"Um...Juventus."
"Who?"
The man chuckled. "Juventus. The football team?"
"Never heard of it."
You weren't the best at sports but because of your upbringing in the south you grew up watching American football, and never had you ever heard of a team called Juventus.
"It's not an American football team. It's European." He said.
"Oh." Slight heat rose to your face. "Then why didn't you say so?"
He rolled his eyes, however your attention was brought down to the front desk computer. You typed in the name under organization, knowing that it wasn't unusual for Jeep to offer joyrides to whichever athletes they were sponsoring. In this case you found out that Juventus was an Italian football team, currently on tour in the States.
"So are you renting the car out for the day, or...?"
You looked up from your computer, surprised to find the man curiously tilting his head, observing you.
"I'm just looking to take it for a spin." He shrugged, not at all ashamed having been caught checking you out. "Up and down the boulevard, you know?"
"A spin?" You frowned. "Not even rent the car out for a full day?"
"Would be a waist of gas, don't you think?"
His sly grin was unbearable. Even more so because the man was ridiculously attractive and probably well aware of it.
"We don't usually allow clients to rent out a car for less than six hours, even if it's for promotional purposes."
"Then I guess you'll have to come with me and we'll call it a test drive."
"Excuse me?"
The man chuckled. "Come on. Or would you rather be stuck in here, dusting?"
It was a matter of company policy. But why did he have to be so damn attractive?
"Fine." You sighed, pulling out the car keys from a drawer under the desk. "But I'm driving."

Perhaps the prospect of shooting an eight-member K-pop boy band could be a new professional challenge instead of something to bemoan.
The 2024 Met Gala should have been a strictly star-powered triumph for Stray Kids, when the current faces of Tommy Hilfiger set a historic first at fashion‘s biggest night out. Yet amid the glamour, Stray Kids fans — and, possibly, some of the members themselves — were left with the experience marred by their disrespectful treatment by red-carpet photographers, highlighting the systemic barriers still faced by non-Western artists in Hollywood.
The eight-member Billboard 200 chart-toppers attending the Met Gala marked the first time an entire group has hit the glitzy gala together. Making their Met Gala debut in custom-designed suits alongside Tommy Hilfiger himself, members Bang Chan, Changbin, Lee Know, Hyunjin, Felix, Han, Seungmin and I.N arrived at the Metropolitan Museum of Art collectively in navy jackets that would soon reveal the custom ‘fits in various shades of the clothing brand’s signature red, white and blues underneath.
But a few feet away, amid the flurry of camera flashes that surrounded all sides of the Gala entrance, derogatory comments from on-site photographers groaning about the group’s “robot” demeanor, annoyed that the reveal took place with their backs to one group of photogs, and thinking the band would only understand Korean reveal the thinly veiled prejudices that still plague the industry.
youtube
As The Daily Mail noted, some paps said people would get “confused” because the group took photos with their coats on and off — a racist stereotype that people of Asian descent are challenging to differentiate visually. One photographer can be heard making his peers laugh after joking that viewers would think “two K-pop bands” attended the 2024 Met Gala. (From this reporter’s findings from the last 48 hours, no one has made that mistake.)
The incident shed light on the unfair challenges international celebrities like Stray Kids face navigating less familiar territory in pursuit of global success.
Despite instances where SKZ easily and comfortably adapted to the American media landscape via live interviews like BUILD Series or People TV, last year’s MTV VMAs, or various Fashion Weeks, the singers still face barriers and a dismissive attitude toward their presence. It reflects a lack of understanding while underscoring the need for greater cultural sensitivity and inclusivity in entertainment.
Most of the Kids’ media experience is with Korean and Japanese events, which have systems and red carpets structured differently than in the States. At a typical K-pop event, press conference or awards show, there is a platform for artists to pose for photographers who are all collectively shooting together during a dedicated photo time. Guided by an MC, host or team leader like Bang Chan, the artists almost always coordinate their pose to their left, center and right for everyone to get a range of angles and shots. After that dedicated time, photogs are left to their own devices to get the best pics.
With this context, Stray Kids did attempt to show love to all sides of the photographers on the Met Gala carpet by staggering themselves so four members were more forward toward one side of the cameras and then turning around so the other four were more forward for the second group of photogs. Also of note: While the photographers knew Stray Kids were a K-pop act, members Bang Chan and Felix grew up in Australia and Seungmin spent some time living in Los Angeles; assuming that an English comment would slide past them (including “What’s Korean for ‘right’?,” which elicited laughs from the paps) is incredibly closed-minded.
While it is important to understand that photographers need usable and workable photos to fulfill their livelihoods, the diversity that Stray Kids bring to a function like the Met Gala should be celebrated rather than marginalized. Perhaps the prospect of shooting an eight-member boy band could be a new professional challenge instead of something to bemoan.
Korean artists have been attending the Met Gala for over a decade, with guests like PSY and Siwon of Super Junior attending more than 10 years ago and, more recently, seeing the likes of BLACKPINK‘s Jennie coming for her second Met Gala this year. Considering fashion’s consistent and growing affinity for K-pop partnerships, even more K-pop groups are likely to attend in the future.
Whether the comments were heard or not, Stray Kids moved with grace and poise on the carpet, and their presence alone reminds us of the importance of inviting and embracing different cultures, people and perspectives.
From the reality show that created their group in 2017, Stray Kids have had an unwavering determination to defy expectations and rise above adversity. Despite obstacles, the band’s overarching talent, humility, and tireless spirit to continue forward are not only recognized by one of the world’s most prestigious events but increasingly felt across the different Billboard charts. As they continue to break boundaries and challenge norms, Stray Kids can show how they won’t just make waves in the music industry, but help reshape long-held perceptions and inspire greater change.

Secret Money
CEO Loki/Fem Assistant OC AU
Multi-Chapter Fic in progress.
Notes: I first posted this fic in 2020 on AO3. After almost three years (I’m sorry to my long time readers by the way) I went back and reread the first two chapters and holy smokes dude! They were a mess! I fixed them recently and now I feel much better about it. The recent chapters are certainly a higher quality then the older ones, but I think it’s a fun story either way. I’m posting the first chapter here as a little sneak peek for my tumblr people with a link to the entire fic on AO3.
Content warnings: Eventual smut, Slow Burn, Age Gap, Uneven Power dynamic, Alcohol and Substance Abuse, Loki is an asshole, original characters.
Read the whole thing on AO3
Chapter 1: Fate is a Sadist
Tumblr media
Hannah holds the pieces of mail between her fingers. Bills, and they are very overdue.
“I just don’t know if I can pay rent this month.” Hannah tried to explain to her roommate, “This tuition shit is killing me.”
“You’ll be fine girl, I can add some on to my rent.” Her roommate Hazel sympathized with her.
After getting accepted to her dream college in Los Angeles three years ago, Hannah foolishly thought that her life would be clearer. As if a road would be paved with her bright future ahead. That road turned out to have many cracks and potholes, hell, it probably wasn’t even paved.
“Are you sure? You did that last month.”
“It’s fine Hannah, trust me.”
Hannah slumped in her seat, she didn’t feel right having her best friend, who was also a student, help pay for her.
Growing up in the rundown suburbs of San Francisco, overdue bills and sleepless nights were her childhood. Her parents always wanted to get her out, but they were unable to do so financially. Thankfully, financial aid and small scholarships aided her in her academic career, she made sure to keep her grades high, knowing she would not be able to fully pay her way through. But that given money eventually ran out, and student loans piled high, taking every dollar she had.
Sometimes she would daydream about being rich. Fancy, tasteful meals, a beautiful house, and no worries. It was an impossible dream of course, she had to intention of being famous despite where she lives, surrounded by Hollywood stars and dreamers who wished to be so. Not to mention she also despised the upper class, most of which were unappreciative of their riches. They do say that money doesn’t buy happiness, but it can ease a few worries.
The ringing of a bell woke her up from her blissful daydream.
“All right class, make sure to finish the assignment by Monday, it’ll be a big influence on your final grade for the year. Have a good weekend.”
Standing up from her seat, Hannah collected her books and headed for the door.
“Any plans tonight girls?” Her friend Anna came up to her and Hazel, the curly redhead wrapped her arms around the two girls. Making Hannah slightly squirm away, her friends knew that she didn’t enjoy being touched, some ignored that, however.
“I don’t have the cash for a fun Friday night, sorry.” Hannah said, rolling her eyes at the question and trying to get out of the situation.
“Well what if I told you it was free?” Anna raised her eyebrow in an attempt to convince her cautious friend.
“Do you have something in mind?” Hazel questioned.
“Maybe,” She winked, “I’ll tell you in the car.” she giggled and quickly left the lecture hall.
“I wonder what goes on in her head sometimes.” Hazel pondered.
“I guess we’ll find out in the car.”
“The suit is a custom tailored Versace piece with velvet lining.”
“Sounds a bit hot don’t you think? Especially with all of the lights and everything?”
“Well the ladies will certainly think you are smoking hot sir.” His stylist, Michael winked at him.
“That doesn’t answer my question.” Loki sighed.
Being one of the richest and most successful men in the world, Loki Laufeyson caught plenty of attention on his own, without a luxury suit. Michael insisted however, claiming that he must look good for the tabloids and websites that would be singing his praises tomorrow, or praying for his downfall.
“You have been on the list for most eligible bachelors in the world for the past four years. Don’t you think it might be time to think about settling down?”
“All of the women who want me just want my name or my money, I have to be careful that whatever girl I bring home won’t poison my drink and take my wealth.”
“The perfect lady will come along soon sir, and she won’t poison your wine. Now, would you like the black tie or the green tie?”
“I don’t need relationship advice from my stylist; and green.”
“Good choice.”
“Do I really have to go to this meaningless gala? I donate enough to charity, I don’t need to go to a party for them to tell me to donate more.”
“It'll make you look good to the public eye, and you need to get out of the house for something other than work.”
“I need to finish things.” Loki tried to argue.
“Listen, just go there, get your picture taken, make a speech, and then leave”
“It’s not that easy, I’m afraid.”
“It never is, is it?”
“So what is the plan you have for tonight?” Hannah asked her giddy friend.
“Well, there is a gala thing tonight for all those rich people who claim they donate to charity. It’s on Sunset Boulevard and some big names are gonna be there.”
“What about it? It’s not like we can get in or anything.” Hannah states, wondering what Anna had in mind.
“That’s why we will sneak in, then we can interview some of the celebs and get a good final grade for our assignment.”
“Do you have any idea how many people try to sneak into those things? It’s impossible!” Hannah exclaimed, “Why can’t we just interview a local store owner or someone like that for our assignment?”
“C’mon Hannah, this is our final assignment for the year, then it’s summer break! Don’t you want it to be good?” She pressures Hannah.
“Yes, but we don’t have to sneak into a heavily secured event to get a good grade!”
“Don’t be such a bummer!”
“Hey!” Hazel interrupted the girls’ bantering, attempting to be the voice of reason, “If she doesn’t want to do it she doesn’t have to, this whole situation is a bit risky anyway.”
“But it’ll be fun! And it will make a good story either way.” Anna gives Hannah a playful slap on the shoulder, irking the irritated girl even more.
“Fine” Hannah reluctantly agreed, clenching her jaw in regret of what she just said.
The ride to the gala was long due to the infamous traffic. Hannah was quiet most of the ride, staring out of the window, looking at the flamboyant city outside. Every once in a while she would glance at her friends in the front seat while questioning her life choices.
On the way to the gala the girls made a stop at Hannah and Hazel’s shared apartment to pick up some nicer clothes for the gala. Their intention was to blend in as interviewers, all the girls decided to go for their little black dresses in the closet. None of them owned anything close to professional, or nice for that matter. Hannah only had an old pair of flats for her dress shoes, hoping nobody would notice the seams beginning to tear at the heel.
“We’re here!” Anna said excitedly as she shut off the car.
“The gala is four blocks up the street!” Hannah pointed out.
“Oh, I’m sorry we couldn’t find a perfect parking spot in downtown LA on a Friday while a huge event is going on, princess.” Anna mocks her while fixing her mascara in the rear view mirror, rolling her eyes at Hannah as she did so.
“We’re wearing our clubbing dresses! We don’t fit in anyway!”
“We’re already late! Let’s go” Hazel yelled to interrupt the argument that was about to take place. The girls quickly rushed out of the car and made their way up to the venue.
Loki’s limousine slowly drove up to the red carpet where he will be making his entrance. He leaned back in the plush leather seat, one leg draped over the other with his arm resting on the back of the seat. The flash of the paparazzi cameras were bright, even with the heavily tinted windows separating them. Loki sighed and rolled his eyes in annoyance.
“You don’t seem too happy about all of this,” his assistant Brain noticed as he sat across from him in the limo.
“This is all so unnecessary, I give my money to these people and they blow it on a lavish party? I’d rather be elsewhere using my time for something important.”
“This is important. The fact that you are here will improve your image in the media.” Brian attempted to reason with his boss.
“Who cares above what they think of me?” Loki says as he straightens his emerald green tie that he chose earlier.
“I do-“
“We have arrived,” the driver announced.
“Time to shine.” Brian said as he exited the luxury car and opened the door for his boss.
As soon as Loki stepped out he was immediately met with the flashing cameras and reporters with microphones in his face.
“Mr. Laufeyson, how does it feel to be here tonight representing your company?” A reporter asked as she put a microphone to his mouth.
Slightly annoyed at her unmannerly actions he answered her question nevertheless, “It feels great to be here representing Laufeyson industries and all who work with me. We take our charity work very seriously.”
‘You were just bitching about being here in the car.’ Brian kept himself from rolling his eyes as he recalled their conversation from only a minute ago.
“Ugh! I told you we were late!” Anna exclaimed while jogging towards the event, notebook and small camera in hand.
The girls followed her to the crowd of people outside trying to get a glimpse of the gala. Spotlights shone up at the sky to announce the presence of wealth and power as those beneath them waited outside, hoping to get a taste of the good life.
“There is no way we can get in there.” Hannah expressed her doubt as she tried to see over the crowd on her tiptoes, her shoe slipping off of her heel as she did so.
“I didn’t know that there would be so many people here!” Anna attempts to make a poorly executed excuse.
“It’s a celebrity event in Hollywood, of course there is a crowd waiting outside!” Hannah raises her voice in slight anger and speaks over the voices around her.
While darting their eyes around to find a possible way of entry, Hannah spots a news crew setting up their equipment outside of the side door of the venue.
“Maybe we could try to sneak in with them.” She subtly points to the crew over her shoulder.
“Well, that is certainly an idea.” Hazel states sarcastically with sarcasm and doubt.
“And it's the only one we have right now so let’s go!” Anna immediately makes her way over to them as Hazel and Hannah follow closely behind.
There were a lot of people with the news crew, about 20 including reporters, camera men, and tech people. The girls blended in with them posing as interviewers, seemingly going unnoticed by those around them. Everyone was too focused on whatever task they were currently doing to notice.
The group walked over to the back entrance of the building and almost made it in until one of the reporters finally  noticed them. It was only a matter of time before one did so anyway.
“Excuse me, are you girls with us?” She asks, eyes scanning the three girls in front of her intensely.
Shit.
“Yes!” Anna, who was clearly nervous, spoke up, “Were journalists from the local college here for an assignment.”
“No one told me we would have students with us, where are your badges?” She questioned as she showed her badge attached to the lanyard around her neck.
“Um, we forgot them.” She stumbled over her poor excuse.
“Nice try, now get out!” She said as security escorted the disappointed girls to the front of the crowd.
“Don’t bother trying to come back, or else you girls will be leaving in handcuffs.” The large security man warned.
“Sorry Anna, maybe next time.” Hazel said with a sigh as she patted her disappointed friend on the back.
“Ugh this is so stupid! Imagine the grade we could get if we had gotten in there!” She stomped her heel onto the cement in a childish manner. Her immaturity caused Hannah to roll her eyes.
“It’s fine Anna, let's go interview the lady at the nail salon.” Hannah suggested as she attempted to pull her upset friend away from the crowd, knowing she would most likely be making a scene soon.
Anna pulled away and yelled, “Fuck you! You caviar eating sons of bitches!”
“Anna!”
The crowd laughed at her as she ranted about the upper class and chanted phrases such as “eat the rich” and “down with the patriarchy.” Some of the crowd even joined her, embarrassingly enough for Hannah, who facepalmed with annoyance. Anna always had to be the center of attention, even around celebrities.
Hazel joined the chant, nudging Hannah along to do so as well. Hannah ignored her as she looked up at the event infront of her. She could recognise some of the faces there, she didn’t care much for them however, not even the raven haired man in the dark suit who was looking over the shoulder of the reporter he was currently speaking with, staring at the worked up crowd.
Loki smirked in amusement at their chants, he thought they were entertaining.
“Is it bad that I agree with them?” We whispered to his assistant standing next to him.
“Oh stop it!” Brian snapped back, hoping the reporter didn’t hear his boss’ remark.
The crowd wasn’t too far from the event, they were held back by barricades and security, but they could still be seen by Loki. Among the rowdy crowd he spotted a woman who was up front, examining the situation around her; it seemed like she wasn’t too interested in being there either. She wore a short, black dress that had obviously seen a few drunken nights with the almost tattered condition it was in. She looked at her friend before looking back at the venue, unintentionally making eye contact with Loki as she did so.
“Quite the crowd outside.” The interviewer pointed out.
“Yes, quite.” Loki’s eyes linger on the girl for a little longer, even after the short lived eye contact was over.
Eventually Hannah and her friends were kicked off the premises. She was just happy to finally be out of there, away from the loud and sweaty crowd. The girls decided to head to one of the many bars in the city.
“I can’t believe how much they charge for drinks here!” Hannah exclaimed as she looked at the drink menu above the bar.
“It’s all on me girls,” Anna said as she gave the bartender her card and he made three shots of tequila for the girls, “drink up!”
One shot became two, then three, then she forgot why she was drinking in the first place. Anna was once again dancing around in a desperate attempt to gain attention from the men around her, which she was unfortunately succeeding at. Hazel was in the bathroom, the tequila most likely coming back to haunt her.
Hannah stumbled outside to try to get some fresh air on the crowded sidewalk outside of the bar.  She stumbled down the sidewalk, obviously intoxicated to everyone around her. She has no idea what overcame her, she normally would never leave her friends while she was in such a state. But they didn’t seem to care too much right now.
She stopped and tried to steady herself on a light pole, the ground spun beneath her as she poorly attempted to walk straight. After a few seconds she felt collected enough and decided to go back to the bar and borrow Hazel’s phone to get a ride home. Just as she turned around, she accidentally stumbled into a man, causing her to accidentally fall against him.
“Watch it!” He said pushing her off of him and into oncoming traffic on the street next to her. Hannah didn’t even have time to process what was happening before headlights blinded her. She saw white before everything went dark.
The car that was heading towards her thankfully stopped but she still passed out from the alcohol, mixed with fear.
Hannah didn’t wake up until morning, her vision was blurry as she sat up from the bed, shielding her eyes from the sliver of light that came through the curtains.
The more she came to, the more she realized that she was not in her apartment. She looked down and saw that she was still in her dress from last night, her shoes were placed neatly by the bed. Her hands splayed out on the smooth, warm sheets beneath her, she looked down to investigate.
“Is this silk?”

Addressing Letters in Canada: A Quick Reference Guide
Addressing letters correctly in Canada ensures smooth delivery and prevents delays or lost mail. Following standardized addressing formats established by Canada Post is essential for efficient handling. This guide provides a comprehensive overview of addressing letters in Canada, covering format, guidelines, and best practices.
Tumblr media
Why Proper Addressing Matters
Incorrectly addressed mail can lead to delays, misdelivery, or even non-delivery. A standardized address format allows automated sorting machines to process mail quickly and accurately, reducing errors and operational costs for postal services.
Canadian Address Format
Canada Post specifies a structured format for addressing letters. Below is the standard format:
Recipient Name Street Address, Apartment or Unit Number City, Province Abbreviation, Postal Code Country (for international mail)
For example: John Smith 123 Maple Avenue, Apt. 4B Toronto, ON M5H 2N2 Canada
Key Components of the Address
Recipient Name: The first line should include the full name of the recipient. If applicable, include a title or designation, such as "Dr." or "Ms."
Street Address: Include the house number, street name, and unit or apartment number if applicable. Write unit numbers before the street address, separated by a comma.Example: Apt. 4B, 123 Maple Avenue
City and Province: Write the city name, followed by the province abbreviation. Use official two-letter abbreviations for provinces (e.g., ON for Ontario, BC for British Columbia).
Postal Code: Canadian postal codes are a mix of six alphanumeric characters, written in the format "A1A 1A1" (e.g., M5H 2N2). Always leave a space between the first three and last three characters.
Country: For international mail, include "Canada" as the final line. This ensures the mail is routed correctly from the originating country.
Tips for Proper Addressing
Avoid Punctuation: Do not use periods, commas, or other punctuation marks in the address. This improves readability for sorting machines.
Use Uppercase Letters: Write the entire address in uppercase for better clarity, especially for postal codes.
Ensure Accuracy: Double-check spellings, province abbreviations, and postal codes before sending mail.
Include a Return Address: Add a return address on the top-left corner of the envelope or on the back flap. This ensures undelivered mail can be returned.
Special Cases: Addressing Rural Locations
Rural addresses in Canada may not include street names or house numbers. Instead, they use route and box numbers:
Recipient Name RR# (Rural Route Number), Box # City, Province, Postal Code
Example: Jane Doe RR1, Box 56 Kingston, ON K7L 3G5
Addressing for Businesses and Organizations
When addressing mail to a business:
Write the company name on the first line.
Include the department or attention line if needed.
Example: Tech Solutions Ltd. Attn: Customer Support 200 Elm Street, Suite 500 Vancouver, BC V6B 1E6
International Addressing from Canada
When sending mail internationally, ensure the destination country's name is written in uppercase as the final line. Follow the recipient country's specific addressing guidelines where applicable.
Example for U.S. Mail: Alex Johnson 789 Pine Drive Los Angeles, CA 90001 United States
Using Addressing Tools
Canada Post’s Address Lookup: Verify postal codes and address accuracy using Canada Post's online tool.
Formatting Software: Many mailing services and CRM systems offer address standardization features to align with Canada Post's guidelines.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Mixing lowercase and uppercase letters
Omitting postal codes or writing them in the wrong format
Using outdated or incorrect province abbreviations
Conclusion
Properly addressing letters in Canada ensures fast, reliable mail delivery. By adhering to Canada Post's standards and using available tools, individuals and businesses can prevent mail mishaps, enhance communication, and maintain professionalism.
