About God's love

Here are some encouraging words that Holy Spirit gave me as I was praying a few hours ago.

You might think that the sins that you commited are too bad to actually ask Almighty for forgiveness. You might think that God is angry with you and wants nothing to do with you. You might think that God doesn't love you and waits to punish you.

What if I tell you and remind you of the Truth — Jesus Christ — The Only Begotten Son of God? What if I remind you of His suffering on the cross? Sisters and brothers in Christ, it's never late to turn to God. He is like a loving father, our friend. When you friend does something wrong and sins against you, when they truly want to change and ask you to forgive him/her, do you welcome him/her with an angry face? Do you start insulting them and keep on blaming them for what they did? Do you keep on having a hardened heart or do you welcome them with joy, peace of kind and open arms to hug them and think/say that it's good that this person came back? Trust me, Lord waits for us all the time not to punish us but to help us realize what He did for us to be standing before Him. He waits for us to comfort us, bring joy, peace, kindness and many other gifts. He is always there to tell us that He is happy that you are with Him now decided to come back to Him, turn from your wicked ways. All He wants is our trust and faith, not to harm us but to give us a good future and give us grace to repent and be saved.

It is really moving when you do something and reveal it to your friend, then he tells us that we don't have to be afraid. It's so moving when we hear our friends say that they will take the blame for everything that we have done even though they didn't do anything wrong. Well, what if I told you that there was a Man names Jesus Christ, Who was Real God and Real man? What if I reminded you of what He did? He was the one Who set you free from being a slave to sin, He saved you. He was the One that was and still is Mighty God of ours. He is the second person of the Holy Trinity. He could have done everything He wanted because He had the free will. He could have not obeyed the Will of the Almighty. When people wanted Him to be this type of king who will rule on the earth and care about the worldly things, He could go and start being the king they wanted. What if I remind you that even though He knew that He will suffer in the future on the cross dying for our sins, He still chose our love? What if I told you that even though He could have had everything that is expensive. He said that He just wants your heart and your love. He was perfect, He never sinned, He always listened to His Father and obeyed the Will and Word of His. He never let Himself not trust in His Father's words even though it was really hard for Him — He knew that people will hate Him with no reason and be crusified. He knew that His Father won't be happy about His suffering neither. Jesus knew what kind of death He will die. He knew how hurtful it will be but He chose to do what He chose to do. He knew about the suffering we would have to feel if we weren't redeemed. Even though He knew that what He chooses to do will hurt Him a lot, even though He knew that He will be forsaken by His Father Whom He loves so much, He told you ”I won't let you get hurt. Even though you weren't a good person, I forgive you. Now, don't worry. I will took the blame for you, Friend”. Is there a greater love than this? God was not joyful while seeing His Only Begotten Son in such a huge suffering. He was deeply hurt by it. Still, He let Him take our punishment so that we could be free from death after we die and have an eternal life and spend it with the Holy Trinity in Heaven. He even gave the Third Person of the Holy Trinity — Holy Spirit to live in us. He, God lives in us and helps us to become better followers of Jesus by reminding us what is right, what is wrong and what we should to do obey the Will of God. I tell you, there is no greater love than this.

Being someone who read Under The Red Hood and came out with the firm belief that, for Jason, it's not about killing Joker, it's about Jason wanting proof Batman would choose him over the Joker (bc shelia chose the joker). Makes seeing any other media where it's all about just wanting the Joker dead is a teeny bit frustrating. to be honest

Jason could've killed the Joker himself, really, really easily. Jason kidnaps the Joker before the confrontation. I can't open my comic for a reference right now, but it felt like he had the Joker for quite a bit before the confrontation. He had him. He beat him up with a crowbar. He had every single opportunity to kill the Joker himself, but he didn't because that wasn't his goal. Make no mistake, he did plan for the Joker to be dead by the end of it, but do you see what im trying to say here

It's not about making Batman kill either. When Batman says he won't kill, Jason adjusts and goes, 'Let ME kill the Joker or kill me to stop me' instead. The test is all about Batman choosing him. The whole final confrontation is Jason's first death again. The parent, The Joker, and the explosives. It even ends with Jason unable to move as a bomb goes off right next to him again because the parent didn't choose Jason. And instead tried finding an option that'd benefit them and (consequencely) letting the Joker walk, again, lol, lmao <-in agony

As somebody who has struggled with mental health all of their life and still does, Jinx's romance with Ekko means the world to me.

I'm sick and tired of people considering mentally ill people just "not interested in love" or, on the other side, "not healthy enough to be loved". Which is utterly stupid. Ekko falling for Powder but clearly showing signs of wanting to learn more about Jinx and on his way to love her too, realizing that her damaged past and issues do change her but she's still his girl. It's brilliant writing.

He can't be a savior to her, because there's nothing to save. There's nothing to fix. The whole message Jayce gives with "there's beauty in imperfections" goes hand in hand with Powder's "sometimes taking a leap forward means leaving a few things behind". Ekko goes from wanting to save her to wanting to see more of her and leaving Powder behind to know about Jinx. With Ekko loving Jinx nevertheless it shows that mentally ill people can be loved. And with Powder reciprocating and Jinx making amends with Ekko (with the romantic context behind already seen) it's breaking the whole stereotype of her being this "insane maniac with no remorse and unable to show love".

So I guess what I want to say is that their relationship would've worked in another universe, but I want to believe it could've worked in this one (with time), too.

Also. ALSO. I noticed a while ago that Prowl has the habit of..like…constantly frowning. So. I did a bit of research and made this graph.

In 70 chapters, Prowl frowns rougly 104 times. And the intensity of this gesture is very clearly correlated with the development of his relationship with Jazz, as you can see ahahahahah It might be wrong tho don’t take me seriously I’m not good with graphs

Strange courtship gifts

The last thing anyone would expect is for the Joker to believe in the supernatural, but apparently Gotham was in luck, because the clown was about to make a deal with the King of all ghosts to revive his prized foe.

Said King was not happy about the request, nor did he care about the clown's feelings, but he knew it was a necessary evil. Or at least, that's what Clockwork told him; of course, Danny didn't intend to do anything for free.

The Joker got his wish, Bruce came back from the dead and Danny wondered what he should do with the clown's soul. With a shrug he decided to put it to the best possible use and wrapped it in a little bow before handing it over to Jason Todd.

Jason thought it was a joke, a cute guy giving him a gift out of nowhere and claiming that the frozen ball in his hand was the Joker's soul? Yeah, right.

However, John Constantine came through Gotham and it became obvious that it wasn't a joke and that the cute guy was more than just a regular guy. It also came with the feature that Bruce returned to the living, which made him strangely relieved.

And fuck, reckless or not, Jason needed to find the guy again and steal the air out of his lungs, because that weird ball was the best gift he'd ever been given in his life and it might as well be an engagement ring.

anon, I am so sorry and I mean this in the best way, but I do think episode 5 is the absolute funniest place to have stopped following Twst because shit starts escalating SO fast after that. episode 6 literally starts with a secret government shadow agency breaking down our doors and kidnapping students. zero to a million instantly.

and like...that's not even the zaniest thing so far? Ortho's hacked into the collective human unconscious. there's time travel (sort of). "Crowley might be Malleus' long-lost father" is a serious theory. if you'd told me any of this back pre-episode 6, I would have asked for the link to this unbelievable but highly intriguing fanfic.

also, episode 7 gave us (and then immediately took away 😔) the best character in the whole story:

im just saying that if i had been in charge of s6 of doctor who, i would have fully leaned into the horror of amy's pregnancy, the loss of her own agency in it, the way she was used as a vessel to create a child she would never hold again, amy pond who never indicated once that she even wanted a child and was made to have one anyway against her will, and once they were done using her, they even took away any choice she might make about it in the future.

and i would have had this be a factor in amy and river's relationship going forward. how do you interact with a child you never knew, never got to decide if you wanted to have, and she's also already your friend, you love her as this miraculous, insane woman who has saved your life more than once. she's always known more about you than you could about her, but now you know exactly how much she was keeping from you. it's not like she could have told you, could have stopped it, but all this time, she was your friend and she was your daughter, and how do you learn to live with her?
