Tumblr media
love this family, love writing about them
A/N: Hello, hello! Thanks for showing love and support for this series, it encourages me to write more. Here’s Part 4, it’a a long one! Hope you like it. xx
Word Count: 2.13k words
Pairing: Harry Styles X Reader
Part 1   Part 2    Part 3
Y/N’s POV
“Okay, okay this one is my personal favourite hear it out,” Harry said beside me on the couch.
“For god’s sake Harry, your puns are horrible,” I sighed.
“This one is great I promise,” he said showing his puppy eyes.
“Okay fine, go ahead,” I said shaking my head.
“What did the buffalo say when his son went to college?” Harry said trying to contain his laughter.
“What?”
“Bison,” he said before laughing uncontrollably and slapping his knee.
“You’re horrible, I’m going now bye,” I said getting my bag.
“Wait why?” He asked disappointed by my reaction.
“As much as I love to hangout with you, I’m tired now I wanna sleep,” I said yawning.
I checked the clock, it was a little past 11 pm, I was here hanging out with Harry since the past couple of hours on his hotel room in Melbourne.
“Okay fine, Bison,” he said before started laughing hysterically.
“Oh god, why am I even friends with you?”
“You love me,” he said.
Oh I do, wait do I? Yeah as a friend obviously.
“Whatever loser, bye,” I said hugging him and going.
Harry and my friendship seems to be growing more and more, honestly I’m loving it so much. Cindy and Max are going great as usual, Max had to leave so I get more time with Cindy now.
“Hey,” I entered the hotel room to see Cindy facetiming Max.
“Hi, Y/N! Max said hi!”
“Hi Max!” I said cheerfully.
“Okay babe, get some sleep, goodnight.” Cindy said to Max before turning off her phone.
“What’s up bitch?” Cindy asked.
“Nothing much, what about you?” I asked.
“You like Harry,” she stated.
“Of course I do, he’s one of my best friend remember?” I said nervously.
“You know damn well you like him, you can lie to everyone but me Y/N, I know you like I know the back of my hand,” Cindy said, which I hate to admit was true.
“Well I don’t,”
“You do,”
“I-, okay fine yes I do,” I said giving up.
“Hey,” she said coming towards me and hugging me,”it’s completely okay for you to catch feelings for someone okay? You can’t control this stuffs.”
“I know Cind, it’s just that out of all people why did I have to like a guy in a relationship, that too with a model?” I mumbled sadly, making my way towards the bed and sitting on the edge.
Cindy came and sat beside me,”babe, do you want to tell him?”
“Absolutely not, we just became friends, best friends actually and I can’t let my stupid feelings get in the way, I’ll get over it,” I said trying to convince myself more than her.
“You sure?”
“Yeah, I want to have some ice-cream now,” I said forcing a smile.
“Let’s order it then, room-service here fucking rocks!” She cheered.
.
The rest of the night we spent talking eating ice-cream and watching some random tv-shows. Cindy is honestly the bestest, always knows how to cheer me up.
The next day
It was the day of Harry’s Melbourne concert, we all gathered around for breakfast on the hotel’s dining room.
“Where’s Styles?” Adam asked as he began eating.
“I don’t know, maybe he’ll be here soon,” Lou said sipping her juice.
“There he is!” Clare said smiling.
I turned around and saw Harry...holding hands with Camille.
I sucked in a sharp breathe, she was here. She looked even more prettier in person.
“Hi guys!” Harry said approaching us and taking a seat beside me, Camille taking the seat that’s beside him on his left side.
“Camille, when did you come here?” Sarah asked surprised.
“Around 2 in the morning, just wanted to surprise him,” she said smiling, kissing Harry’s knuckles.
Harry smiled down at her, kissing her forehead,”Y/N, I want you to meet Camille, Camille this is Y/N. Y/N, this is Camille, my girlfriend.” Harry said introducing her.
I coughed lightly and my voice barely came out,” nice to meet you,” I shook hands with her.
“Likewise, Harry has told me about you.”
He has talked about me?
“Good things I hope,” I say nervously smiling.
“Yeah ofcourse!” Harry said chuckling.
The breakfast felt like so long, I just wanted to go back to my room and just bury myself in a blanket, this feelings are too much.
“Uh guys, Y/N and I will go now, see y’all later,” Cindy, my lifesaver spoke.
I mentally did a happy dance,” uh yeah, see you guys later.”
“See ya!” Harry said before continuing his conversation with Camille.
.
“This was so awkward, I didn’t act suspicious, did I? God, I’m so stupid,” I rambled as soon as we reached our hotel room.
“Babe, relax, Y/N you were fine, c’mere, you okay?” She said hugging me.
“It hurt so bad,” I said letting my tear fall.
“I know, it’ll get better when you find yourself someone, I promise,” she cooed.
“Yeah,” I replied unsure, maybe she’s right if I start dating someone I might get over these stupid feelings.
.
..
We were currently backstage, everyone was so quiet today, usually it’s always fun in backstage before the concert. But, for some reason it’s different tonight, everyone is busy scrolling their phones.
I looked at Harry to see he was on the couch across from the couch I sat on, his arm were draped around Camille as he aimlessly scrolled through his phone.
“Okay band, you are due to be on stage in ten minutes, get ready,” Jeff announced.
The band began getting ready to go backstage, Harry kissed Camille quickly before coming towards me and Cindy.
“Okay guys, wish me luck,” Harry said smiling.
Cindy hugged him and wished him good luck, before he turned towards me. He hugged me extra tight tonight and even dropped a kiss on my forehead.
“Good luck H,” I said smiling, trying to ignore the extra affection he just showed.
“Thank you,” he said before going on stage.
And as expected the show was incredible as usual.
.
..
“So guys we have a party tomorrow, you guys should tag along too,” Sarah said to me and Cindy, as we were on the tour bus on our way back to the hotel.
“A party? Sounds fun!” Cindy said excitedly.
“It is fun!” Clare said equally excited, she’s precious.
“Yeah, I would love to go too,” I said happily.
“What are you guys talking about?” Harry asked before joining us, he was with Camille.
“The party tomorrow,” Lou replied.
“Oh, I don’t think I’ll go though, just want to spend some relax time with this one,” Harry said smiling, looking down at Camille.
I felt a pang of jealousy... no stop that Y/N.
“Understandable,” Mitch winked.
....
“Y/N, you look gorgeous!” Cindy gushed.
“Thanks, aw look at you, you look beautiful Cind,” I said smiling, we were getting ready for the party tonight and I actually put effort to look nice tonight.
“Thank you! Also Y/N, I have a feeling you’ll get all the boys there swooning over you,” she winked.
I rolled my eyes and chuckled, “let’s see?”
“Girls! I’m here, we will leave now are you ready-,” Sarah said entering the room.
“Oh my my, you both look absolutely stunning,” she said before quickly taking a picture of us.
“Look who’s talking,” I said winking at her.
“Let’s get going then!” She said chuckling.
We arrived at the party and holy shit it looked so great, it’s a celebs party, the place looked amazing. They had an entire table filled with desserts, another table filled with snacks and also had a bar.
“Oh God, let’s try those desserts,” Cindy said dragging me.
I laughed and followed her.
There were so many options so I opted for the fudge and it was delicious.
“Y/N, look at him, he’s so gorgeous omg,” Cindy said pointing towards a guys, and he was cute. But, Harry is cuter, stop it Y/N.
“Yeah he is,” I said.
“Let’s go talk to him, I think I saw him on telly,” she said.
“No Cind, I don’t want to talk to anyone, let’s just talk to each other,” I said with pleading eyes.
“You suck,” she rolled her eyes.
“I know,” I agreed, I’m socially awkward as hell.
We finished eating and started looking around at the decors.
“Hi,” I heard someone say behind me, I turned around and was met by stunning pair of ocean blue eyes.
He was so beautiful, and he looked around 20, he has his hair in a quiff. He was wearing a black colored suit, he was tall as well.
“Uh hi,” I said smiling.
“Have you happened to see Lou? Lou Teasdale?” He asked.
“Uh I saw her just around here,” I said searching for Lou.
“I’m so sorry, you might think I weirdo I just didn’t know a lot of people here so I just thought and you two were nearby so I thought I’ll ask,” he started rambling adorably.
I chuckled, “it’s fine,”
“Let’s find her together, we are just bored anyway,” Cindy said smirking at me, I can already see her trying to set us up. That girl.
“Are you sure, I don’t want to bother you guys?” He said.
“We are sure,” Cindy assured her and we began searching for her.
As we were walking he introduced himself to us, his name was Jason. He was currently a law student in New York. He lived in Australia but he liked NYC more, he was here since his dad was related to a music company. His mom knew Lou since they were family friends.
“There she is, LOU!!” Cindy called.
Lou, turned around smiling, she waved at us and approached us.
“Hi girls, Jason, finally I was looking for you!” Lou said hugging him.
“I was looking for you too, mom texted me saying you were here so I thought I will meet you, it’s been ages!” He said smiling.
“It has! Look at you all grown up,” she said smiling.
“Thanks to these two wonderful ladies, they helped me find you,” he said.
“Thank you girls,” Lou said smiling.
“Pleasure,” I said.
“Do you guys fancy drinks? Lou and I can bring it, let’s go Lou,”Cindy said after we all talked for awhile.
Lou seemed to take the hint and went along,”yes! I’m thirsty, be right back.”
That left me and Jason together alone.
“So Y/N, tell me about you,” Jason said smiling.
“Well, I’m on my vacation here before I start applying for college,” I said.
‘Where do you want to study?” He asked.
“New York,” I said replying.
“I can help you with that actually since I know New York pretty well now,” he said chuckling.
“Oh yes! I could use some help,” I said agreeing.
We talked about random stuffs too, and he seemed pretty nice guys.
“Here are the drinks,” Cindy and Lou came after what seemed like ages.
“It was a bit crowded there on the bar,” Lou said, and she was lying I know.
We all talked a bit more, Jason is an intelligent guy it was good talking with him, soon it was time to leave. Me and Jason exchanged numbers before saying goodbyes.
“It was great meeting you,” he said hugging me.
“Likewise,” I said smiling.
in the car
“Look at her smiling,” Lou cooed.
“Y/N, your face will break into two,” Cindy teased.
“Stop teasing her,” Sarah chuckled.
“I can set you two up on a date tomorrow, should I?” Lou asked excitedly.
“No Lou! Don’t do that!” I said quickly.
“Easy tiger, okay I won’t but you better have a date before we leave Australia,” she said.
“Let’s see, what I can do,” I said shrugging.
“Oh gimme your phone,” Cindy said before taking it out of my purse.
“What are you doing?” I asked nervoulsy.
“Wait,” she said, before handing me my phone after few seconds.
I had a mini heart attack seeing she texted Jason.
It was lovely meeting you, would love to meet you again. xx
“What the fuck Cindy? Why did you text him, why did you add kisses sign, if I might add TWO KISSES, WHY?” I asked panicking.
“Stop it drama queen,” she said smirking. Before everyone in the car started laughing.
Oh why is she like this.

Talon, an amnesiac assassin who doesn't have a name, much less a family, is a perfect addition to the Suicide Squad. Nevermind his mental issues, the fact he kills at the drop of a hat, and he can't even remember what he had for breakfast.
He knows he probably shouldn't be allowed out.
Eighty-six, eighty-seven…
It’s calming, so very calming. Physical exercise helped him forget his problems for a moment (like his little memory… issue) and kept his body in top condition. A necessity. Besides, doing sit ups upside down (with the help of the suspended bar he’d asked for) felt like second nature.
His therapist at Arkham, what little he remembered of her anyway, never let him exercise nearly as much as he wanted. It was how he avoided problems, she always said, and he was too underweight anyway, didn’t have the calories or any fat to burn. He still didn’t eat well.
But luckily for him, his therapist wasn’t here. It was doubtful he’d ever go back to that place. When he was in a mood for it, he was one of the most compliant members of this little team they had, and was incredibly skilled. To the US government, he was much more useful doing their dirty work than locked up for being crazy. Besides, he was simply known as Talon, without the burden and strength of a real name and identity, and no family ties. If he died, no one would notice or ask questions.
Belle Reve wasn’t awful, anyway. He hadn’t actually been given a prison sentence, but Batman (Bruce, a buried part of his brain told him, but he didn’t ever say that aloud) had brought him to Arkham, which was just as good apparently- not to mention the numerous crimes and murders he was both rumored and proven to be a part of. At the very best, he was unpredictable, stubborn, and violent, and no one protested that being locked up. Even if someone cared, he obviously was not a good candidate to be back in productive society. Who was there to care, anyway?
(There was someone, maybe- he remembers a grin, and a blood stained smile. A fist in his hair. A rough, calloused hand in his own. Someone else too, small with a frown, dark skin and a flash of green eyes. But snapshots. Only snapshots he wasn’t entirely sure were real)
The only thing that sucked about Belle Reve was the guards. However, since he was quiet and kept his head down, the abuse was minimal, and mostly verbal. It wasn’t difficult to keep calm in such a such a secluded environment.
It was when they let him out that the problems occurred.
He hated when he lost control, when bodies dropped faster than flies under the blade of his knife or bullets he’d aimed, because when he was angry or afraid or anxious it’d happen faster than he could process. Even when it was exactly what was asked of him, exactly what they all wanted, it twisted in his stomach.
But that wasn’t the worst part.
It thrilled him. It felt good to give in, to kill. Was it the conditioning of Talon, or the person he used to be that liked it? There was never an answer. Luckily, those questions never bothered him for long. It wasn’t often that his mind was clear enough to think that way. Most of the time, his thoughts were muddled and far away, his instinct and conditioning at the forefront, pushing down everything else. Even without the drugs, the haze never receded. It was easy to give him orders in this state, but he also tended to act more on his emotions and act irrationally. At least, that’s what the file he had stolen stated.
He did not trust ARGUS.
“Talon!” Someone knocked on the bars of his cell, and he instantly flipped down, face emotionless as he walked over to the speaking person. “You’re being transferred.” Code phrase. Another mission with his team.
(They liked being out. Always grinning, saying it was about time, that they’d missed being outside. Never hesitating to reek a little havoc while they were out, stealing some minor things, looking forward to requesting more from Waller when they were done. But not him. Never ever him)
He nodded, let the too tight cuffs for transport be placed. Didn’t fight back, even when they were far too constricting, reminded him of awful, painful days he could barely remember. However, today was a good day, one where he could remember more than most and his personality was more in control. He wished it wasn’t. It made the required killing more difficult.
“Where’re we goin’?” one of his teammates asks in the armored truck. Talon’s mismatched pupils simply stared down at his gloved hands, his goggles still up in his hair, pushing up his bangs. Relaxed, for him. Except he wasn’t, and at the next words he shot up like a rocket.
“Gotham.”
His heart stops. Why? He has no idea. The words shouldn’t mean anything, they shouldn’t, but also colorless snippets of the past tug at his brain. A house- no, too big. Mansion. An older man in a suit, unamused. A dark haired woman, grinning as she grips the handle of a thick, worn whip.
As always, the half-memories only leave him more confused than before.
“Doesn’t the Bats have Gotham? Besides, him and us don’t exactly get along, if y’all forgotten.”
“They say he’s doing something else, or something. He’s otherwise occupied. Red Hood and Robin are down there, apparently, but trusting Red Hood is just damn stupid and Robin’s just a kid. They’ll need-”
“They can handle more than you think,” Talon says in his usual quiet tone before he can stop himself. The words just spill out. They all stare in shock. He doesn’t blame them. He talks rarely, especially when it came to matters of opinion.
The agent makes a sour face. He likes the man even less now, and that’s a surprise. He already didn’t enjoy his company from the moment the man walked onboard and looked at them all with disgust, like they were somehow lower than him. They weren’t heroes, that was for sure, but they were still people.
“Well, what do you know?!” The man snaps. “You can’t even remember what you ate for breakfast this morning.”
“Hey, leave him alone.” They were all protective of each other, even over the soft-spoken broken Talon. They were the only people in the world that would, after all. Talon surprisingly felt the same way about them. They didn’t treat him like he was broken or somehow inherently evil like everyone else. Sure, they weren’t the good guys, but… They weren’t bad friends at all.
“Nothin’ he said warranted that response.”
“Whatever,” the man scoffs dismissively, turning away from them all. “You’re still going.”
“You all right, Talon?” Someone lightly elbows his ribs a few minutes later. He nods. It’s a lie.
They all know.
Even when they drop into Gotham and he almost breaks down at the sight of Red Hood and Robin (Jay… Jason and D… Damian?) they don’t ask.
They know Talon is just as much a mystery to himself as he is to everyone else.
