Chicago Beer Pass: Italian Ice Season

Welcome to the Chicago Beer Pass: Your ticket to all the great beer events happening in and around Chicago.

On this episode of Chicago Beer Pass, Brad Chmielewski and Nik White have themselves a really fun beer from Hopewell Brewing. This citrus lager was brewer to resemble a Lemon Italian Ice, a lightly tart Lager fruited with Meyer lemon... such a fun drink!

Now with Illinois Craft Beer Week behind us, the guys recap a couple events that took place last week including Beer Under Glass and Mayfestiversary. The guys have a handful of news they heard from Beer Under Glass as well as some stand out beers that might be worth looking for if you're on a hunt this Sumer for something new. Nik also shares a bit about his adventure to Miskatonic Brewing Company. Finally, the guys wrap things up with a bit of news including a couple new breweries opening in Chicago.
