ohhhh ideas for new overworld dishes that I shall implement into my addon soon

-Husafina "shipwreck", is a dish of Mürdunic origin. It's a combination of salmon, carrots and greens put on top of a skinned, roasted cactus leaf.

-Salmara is a type of chicken broth with Illager origin. It's something every exhausted and cold soldier dreams of.

-Beehive is a layered honey cheesecake with Kenthral origin.

-Rümfot is a dish founded by Apidairic explorers who got lost in a lush cave without any food supply. Turns out, a dried dripleaf can be used as a tasty wrapper for a bunch of glowberries.

-Hunter's spear is a dish commonly eaten by... well, hunters. It can be easily roasted at the campfire.

-Berry gift is perhaps one of the most loved and hearthy pastries in all of Minnjörð. It's more valuable than a box of chocolates today.

-Gurki are a type of dumpling commonly eaten in Illager households. The stuffing is a combination of cottage cheese, potatoes and beef. It's formed to represent a mountain or bump, hence the name "gurki", which means "mountains" in Illageralt.

Have you ever considered writing about Chain with/in connection with Legend's bee badge?I mean there are bees that will follow you and attack others in albw, it can become a funny things between Chain and Legend.

Imagine if someone in the Chain (accidentally) messed with the beehive and dragged it back to the camp, everyone else was attacked by bees while Legend was surrounded by friendly bees.

So I might be doing the equivalent of smacking a beehive with a stick here, but I have a question for the community: does anyone remember what episode(s) specifically it's identified in Trollhunters that trolls don't like the taste of cooked meat? Other than the episode where Jim, immediately after being transformed, tries to eat what looks like either a bone-in cooked porkchop or lamb portion and gags on the taste.

I'm asking because it's something I've noticed crop up a lot in fanfiction, but there are at least two instances in canon where we see a troll either eat or request cooked meat with no issues noted:

In season 1 ( I think) we see Aaarrrgghh eat a whole roast chicken. His response, based on facial expressions, seems to be "meh."

NotEnrique requests Claire to bring him a cheeseburger (I think with extra cheese). We don't see him eat it, but it's implied that he enjoys the taste.

I'm trying to form a comprehensive idea of how the trolls and changelings palettes work (and how they differ, because I strongly suspect that they do based on the fact that it's established that regular trolls don't like dairy, but NotEnrique seems to like cheese, so it seems plausible that changelings do -- which makes sense. If they have to pretend to be babies, they inevitably have to consume milk, particularly changelings exchanged before formula was a thing. We even see NotEnrique drinking out of a bottle at one point in his troll form I think, though it's not specified if its formula or...well, Ophelia's milk).

Rye Sourdough

It may be that I now bake my sourdough loaves according to the seasons! This beautiful Rye Sourdough, for instance, with its nutty flavour and the suave fragrance of chestnut honey, is definitely bread for Autumn! Scrumptious still warm and slathered with butter, it also beautifully compliments strong cheeses with Quince Paste, plum jams or pear preserves! Happy Thursday!

Ingredients (makes 1 loaf):

1 tablespoon pure good quality raw Chestnut Honey (I bought the one I'm using at a farmer's market in Chambord, the beehives are kept in the Sologne Forest)

about 180 millilitres/¾ cup hot water

½ tablespoon vegetable oil like sunflower or grapeseed

2 1/3 cup strong white flour

1 cup rye flour

1 teaspoon salt

325 grams/11.5 ounces Sourdough Starter

Spoon Chestnut Honey into a small bowl. Stir in hot water until completely dissolved. Allow mixture to become lukewarm.

Grease a large glass bowl with grapeseed oil; set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, combine strong white flour, rye flour and salt, and give a good stir. Add Sourdough Starter and Chestnut Honey mixture, and stir, gradually adding more lukewarm water, if necessary, until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms. You may not need to add any more water at all, but your dough should not be dry, it should just stick a bit to your fingers.

Tip dough out onto a clean surface, and knead, a good 10 to 15 minutes. Kneading will make it smooth and elastic and no longer sticky. Shape into a ball, and pop into prepared bowl. Cover with an oiled sheet of cling film, and allow to rise, in a warm enough, draught-free place, 3 hours.

Line a bowl or basket with a clean tea towel, and flour it generously (if it isn’t floured enough, the dough will stick to it!)

At this point, the dough should have doubled in size. Tip it out onto the kitchen counter and knead well to knock the air out, 5 minutes, slapping the dough onto the counter-top. Shape the dough into a ball and place into lined basket or bowl, seam-side up. Cover loosely with a lightly oiled sheet of cling film, and prove a second time in a draught-free room. This second prove should take between four to eight hours.

Preheat oven to 220°C/430°F, placing a large tin filled with water on the bottom shelf of the oven, to create steam and a beautiful crust.

Line a baking tray with baking paper.

Once second prove is complete, gently lift off cling film. Then, carefully tip risen dough out of its basket and onto prepared baking tray, lifting off tea towel gently. Spritz gently with water, and slash with a sharp knife. Place baking tray in the middle of the hot oven, and bake at 220°C/430°F, for 30 minutes. Then, reduce heat to 200°C/395°F, and bake, for a further 15 minutes.

Remove from the oven and lift off the baking tray.

Let Rye Sourdough cool completely (if you can), before eating slathered with butter, Apple or Quince Jelly, and Ginger-Plum Jam, with tasty cheeses and good wines!

Year 4 Spring 1 Farm check!

I don't really know whether it's worth putting automation chests on beehives but I always forget about it so I guess for now it'll be there. If it doesn't work out i'll just go back to the original arrangement and maybe add 7 more beehives (so 3 lines of it)

What made me smile this week?

Monday, 8/26/24 - today is our first day of school! After many months, today, we get a general idea of all the classes! In my first period, we had to introduce ourselves, what year we were in, and what we wanted to be when we grew up. Those types of questions, then we made a name tent, in which you put your name and then draw what you like on the front. I had fun with that, and it's due Friday. We then got a rundown of the class and then played a funny game of what came first. Chicken or the egg, we had to get up out of our seats, in my case, just be in my seat, lol. Then we had to be in different groups per question. There were about 4 or 5 questions, and we had fun with it. We then got introduced to the website we will be using! After that, I headed to the second period; in the second period, we had to create another name tent that had our name and three adjectives that describe our personality using some letters of our name. We then did a lab where we estimated what time Mrs Mauney put the ice cubes in the little beaker that had a dropper at the end. Our team did not get it right since she eliminated our answer choice, but other teams are very close! Plus, we got a free 100 anyway! Woo, tomorrow she Will be announcing which team got it right. May the best team win! I then headed to lunch as I had my first lunch! And I got a yummy salad with chicken, cheese, onions, and Italian dressing! It was very good and worth the wait. After lunch, I headed to third, where we got to learn all the rules of the class and then do a little fingerprint activity. It was a large fingerprint on a sheet of paper, and inside each ridge, you had to write information about yourself. It was pretty cool! Then, after that, we got a lab sheet that showed different stations of fun things/ scientific things, and it wasn't bad! I have all the parts of the microscope left! Then, in the fourth period, I got to be in class with my friend, and we sat the whole class laughing and learning. We did another name tent very simple, and then we made some sticky notes where we had to put what we wanted to learn from the class. Before that, we made a table of contents! It was fun, and now, at home, we're enjoying a warm bowl of potato soup! We experienced the Subway Surfers New World tour and unlocked Billy Bean! Which is always fun! Now we're headed to bed this whole day made me smile!

Tuesday, 8/27/24 - it's my three-month ALS anniversary!! Although I'm not excited about losing a whole percent of body strength! I am excited for what's to come and how far I've come within three months today in the morning we chilled on the game Subway Surfers and talked morning later on we went to the bus stop and talked about our second day of school and then we headed to school in the first period we did a bell ringer which was pretty difficult but I got it done! Then we did this honeycomb beehive activity where we had to connect different things based on their function but also match them with another thing it was tough but thankfully I got it done and then for the rest of class we worked on an assignment in which we had to pretend to be a physical therapist and write things down about a certain patient the patient is not real. Then we went to the second period and began to talk about the syllabus and class rules. Not long after, we got called for our senior meeting! We had a fun time hearing all that they said and the beautiful messages. We got longer-form videos and, sadly, only one tiny video! So we'll put that in the weekly smiles post! Then I came back to a syllabus scavenger hunt. I got to skip most of it and just do the sticker section, so that was fun. Then at lunch, I got to enjoy a yummy salad without cheese sadly but That's ok I had chicken and onions on my salad which was basic but yummy after lunch came the third period we finished up the rest of the lab and finished with it we then played a game of Myth or Fact that was fun! And then, in the fourth period, we did a speed dating thing that was also pretty fun, and then we just went home and chilled for the day! Today made me smile!

Wednesday, 8/28/24 - I woke up and then we took a pretty picture of a tree that was paired with the beautiful sun it was very pretty in the first period we worked on an assignment that we had to write a summary on our patients and wasn't hard and I got it done within thirty minutes we also talked about our struggles and things one girl shared she broke her femur during a car accident and couldn't walk for 3 months! And it happened last year so I hope she is doing well! In the second period, we worked on a density lab where we had to place metal in a graduated cylinder and water to measure its density or something like that! Soon after that, we just made notes! And then we went to third, where I just had yummy salad, except they gave me a whole chicken tender, lol, instead of chicken bites. Hey, I'm not complaining, just shocked 😳! Then, after that, we just worked on forensic work and got to see our first lab! It was pretty cool and fun to do! Then in the fourth period, we just chilled and worked on notes most of the class we chilled at home :) today made me smile!

Thursday, 8/29/24 - today, we just chilled in the morning. Sadly, I had to rush and edit a little video! In the first period, we just got new assignments so that was fun I completed them all in one day the rest of first period just went chill like normal then went to chemistry where we did a card separating activity between molecules and atoms we did some notes and found out that mr s mauney might be behaving her baby September 13th and she will give us an email stating whether or not shes had the baby I wish her all the best in her recovery! Soon after that we got to chill on our phones in third period we started talking about the rules and expectations in her class like a little worksheet type of paper then we took some notes on the temporal lob and other parts of the brain then she told us some story's on this day she said my brain had done something weird I imagined a snake in my dreams and i don't dream about snakes but apparently her husband who sleeps with a C-Pap his mask had kinda un-hooked and it made a hissing sound then another time is when they were very poor back then with there children they would change there kid on there kitchen countertop and in this particular moment the husband was changing the diaper and it wasn't just wet there was obviously poop and they had cloth diapers because they couldn't afford the disposable so not everything would gracefully stay in the diaper and a few minutes later there was some poop on the counter (not actually) but the husband perceived that but in reality it was just some cookie dough that dropped on the counter so she scooped it up with her finger and ate it he started gagging and said you just ate poop and she pointed to the oven meaning it was just some cookie dough that is all that we heard but it horrific yet funny! Then, in the fourth, we sat and chilled, doing a get-to-know-me/ personality poster. Sadly, Willams and Donny's computer was acting weird and kept saying ¨, please do not power off your device” because apparently, the computer was doing some type of critical update! But we went home and chilled, had some yummy mam witch, and were laughing, and listening to Instagram audios that night. Today made me smile!

Friday, 8/30/24 - this morning, I woke up at 6:00 Am, which is rare lol. I chilled and lay in my warm blankets! And then I got ready. As we were heading out the door, I remembered I had left all my jewelry, lol! And they had to help put on my bracelets, my ring, and my necklace, so it was a little bit hectic. We then chilled on the bus and tried to push our way through the entrance because, apparently, so many people wanted to be in the walkway! We chilled for a bit and then headed to class. Since I did not have any work to do in the first period, I just updated some long overdue descriptions, lol! And then I tried filling up my water bottle, but that took forever. It took like 3 minutes, lol! It was kinda funny yet gruesome to wait for my 30-z water bottle to fill up. Lol, I've been typing most of the class, just mainly working on description! Sadly Willam and donnys computer situation is not looking any better I see no progress and it still seems to be having its ¨critical update¨ gosh annoying computers then in the second period since Mrs. Mauney was out we chilled and had a sub I said Hi how are you and she said Hey how are you I said good I sat and chilled for a bit we got our name tents and a new student joined us and sat at our table he seemed pretty chill! We are now doing attendance, and the announcements had a weird cheer thing, which is weird because they never do that. It caught me off guard, lol. Then we worked on a very large paper assignment. It was about matters and things, but I finally got it done! And now I'm chilling here, drinking my water and typing my little heart away. The simplest of things make me smile! Now we're getting ready for yummy lunch! After that, we just chilled in Mrs Churches class and just hung out at home. We had a fun time, and big Donny can officially do thumbnails on his YouTube channel! “Donny & Sc injury” today made me smile!

Saturday, 8/31/24 - today, I woke up around 7:44 Am, waking up many hours before that, lol 12:00 Am and 3:00 a.m. I chilled the rest of that morning, then we chilled for a while in the afternoon, then Donny got to see nostalgic memories on an old phone! He thought it was very cool and so breathtaking to see all those old videos and photos! Then we went to Mack's house for a while! Which we haven't done in a while. We swam for a while! Then a horsefly came up and we were screaming and saying bitch at the fly! We were laughing, yet terrified James killed it, and we thought there was no more of them, and during the time of the first horsefly, we said, " What if another one comes back!” And sure enough, it fucking did, lol (sorry for the language; I usually keep this PG, but to be honest, this was scary as fuck. So I apologize for being overly dramatic in the cuss words!) But sure enough, it did come back. We kept Dunking underwater, lol, and we eventually gave up and went inside. Sadly, the pool day ended shortly, but we did get some McDonald's at the beginning of the trip, and it certainly made me smile. Sadly, Donny is having his major pacemaker surgery tonight at 11:00 Pm! So we have to stay up until 6:00 Am! Until he gets out of surgery, it will be the scariest wait of our life, and we will update you on further information into Sundays or this entry! Who knows, but keep reading. So far, it's 9:51 pm, so it's only a short 1 hour and 9 minutes away! We pray for Donny to make it out of this surgery in Good health! We love you so much, Donny! And we pray you make it out of this surgery! This is such a scary operation and we wish you all the best! - we will give you further updates as we get News! It is 10:50 P.m., and it's 10 minutes till Donny's surgery again. We wish him luck!!

Sunday, 9/1/24 - it's now 11:00 P.m., so it's quite not Sunday, but it's so close. Donny is now in surgery. He needs 6 hours and 59 minutes remaining.. we are beyond scared and hoping he survives the surgery. We love you, Donny; ok, it's now 8:07. thankfully, the nurses took great care of him, and he survived the surgery! He seems fine as of right now! And now we found out that Williams's eye swelled! Overnight, what is the week doing to all of us? we are getting haircuts and going to the mall today! At first, we went to the drug store for our parents to buy cigarettes. Then we went to Dollar Tree, and Mom got many things lol, but we got some vanilla cream cookies! Then we headed to Great Clips and got our haircut! It looks good and we're good with how it turned out! Then we went to the mall. Mom and Dad enjoyed their movie, and shortly after, we went to Five Below and bought some things! But the most important thing we bought was a new bag that was for overheating, and catheter storage since our old bag sucked. Lol, we already find the new bag beneficial! Then we bought a spray bottle for overheating/fake sweat 💦 since we cannot sweat. Promise, all the things we bought were not just for medical purposes lol! After that, we visited Claire's and saw a cute mushroom 🍄 plushie! Then we sat for a while, and now we're munching on our chips and sitting on a bench for a while! We are having fun so far! We soon arrived home and are now chilling getting everything unpacked and organized! We are definitely smiling! There was a bad storm, and it frightened us at how loud the lightning was! But we're ok now and we're chilling! But today was very busy but it certainly made me smile!

Chapter.1 the Honeycomb Café

It's was an hour and 40 minutes since Meg left Spooner Street. Decided to take her time going to the cafe watching the Sun rise in the distance during her walk there by the time she got to the little cafe it was already open and few customers were coming in ready for a nice hot cup of coffee and fresh baked pastries of hot cinnamon rolls, fresh baked donuts, bagels toasted with smooth cream cheese and delicious breakfast baked goods the cafe was little old fashioned style place in old brick with pretty flower boxes decorated with pretty yellow and white face curtains the sign in the door shape of a cute honey beehive decorated with cute little flowers saying welcome to the Honeycomb Cafe sound of a cute little bell ringing a Meg open the door the fresh scent of baked goodies of cinnamon, nutmeg, hazelnut and fresh brewed coffee hit her nose making her mouth slightly water in joy of the fresh scent as she looked inside the cute Cafe and she looked around there is the ordering place to get coffees next to the counter was a display of the fresh goods being displayed as customers said their orders across the room was an old fashioned brick fireplace that was still working having already been lit to warm up the room cold autumn weather surrounded with comfy couches and chairs there is even a door connected next to the bookstore where you can enjoy some reading while waiting for your coffee it was a small cute little paradise to Meg."This is a place I can relax in." She said to herself walking up to the counter she was there just in time for the barista to take the next order "hello welcome to the Honeycomb Cafe how may I help you this morning? Meg looks at the menu so many delicious options from Good Old pumpkin spice, campfire S'more latte, breezy brown sugar latte, cinnamon maple and spiced Irish cream. So she decided on Irish cream coffee with a raspberry Rose cream donut to go with it.

While waiting for her order make decided to wait by the fireplace walking over to the comfy love seats they were dark leather but were soft and plushie plump for your bottom in the middle of the couch and chairs was a small coffee table with books and a few magazines displayed probably from the bookshop next door curious decide to look through them somewhere about artwork and nature the magazines had stuff about season holiday cooking and knitting and home decor but one book suddenly caught her eye with interest it had different shades of blue on it with a rocky planet galaxy in the background the title saying The Beauty of Space Art An Illustrated Journey Through The Cosmos. That sounded interesting? Curious she picked up the book and gently flipped through the pages to take a look and what she saw amazed her paintings of what people thought of space expressing their thoughts of the solar system through ART!

As she continued to look through a stunning artwork of stars and planet landscapes Meg didn't notice some old faces from her school walk into the shop and that happened to be Connie D'Amico and her friends Tina, Scott, Doug it was quite a while since she saw Connie last ever since she got in trouble for framing her mom and faking her death rumor had it that her parents sent her to boarding school for a while to straighten her out but it seems she was still carrying bad habits. a bit nervous try to make her look small in the corner placing the book in front of her face hoping they wouldn't notice or whatever they were here for she hopes it would be quick. Thankfully they didn't seem to notice or recognize her due to her new appearance kind of made her wonder if the superhero disguise really works? Oh she kept the book close to her face as a cover (keep calm Meg just keep calm if they do begin to notice pretend that you're too busy looking at starlight as her bullies school we're discussing their orders it was then that a couple of more students came in Julius and Clemont who have recently became part Connie's friend group having become pretty good friends with Doug and Scott so Connie accepted them into the group while Connie and Gina ordered the lattes it was that Clemont a tall guy known for his signature look of an orange shirt blue jeans and brown hiking boots and always wearing a green and white cap backwards on his chestnut hair with big brown eyes that suddenly noticed Meg in the corner but due to her different appearance he only saw a new girl never meet before sitting by the couch engrossed in the pages of a book even if he couldn't see her face he couldn't help but see that she was really cute.

He whispered and nudged to Julius and Doug "hey guys check out the cute chick in the pink sweatshirt." Nodding his head to the direction where Meg was sitting and as if on cue the rising rays of the morning sun peek through the window just right and a warm soft glow"man definitely talk about a cutie all sweet in pink!" Doug commented, "I never seen her around school before maybe she's new?" Replied Julius who was also in all of the pretty girl reading a book in the corner unaware of who she really was they were so distracted looking at her that they didn't notice Connie, Gina and Scott (but he was busy on the phone texting his boyfriend) trying to get their attention that it was their turn to order "hey what's got you guys distracted?" She spoke a bit louder slightly annoyed finally getting their attention geez she was gone for a few months and it seems they always forget she's popular. The guys look slightly embarrassed and apologize. "Sorry Connie we were just uhh..." Doug tried to explain without trying to upset Connie to which she just scuffed “whatever it doesn't matter just pay attention next time." Brushing her long blonde hair over her shoulder still annoyed by Doug's excuse until she noticed by what the guys’ distraction she found out what she saw. Oh it's so it's a new pretty face reading some stupid book scoff what's so special about her she's probably some nerd geek or freak from what she could see the book she was reading it must be dumb science space stuff that all geeks or freaks seem to be interested in.

A sound of a ding came from the counter as a worker called out for an order "Irish cream coffee with a raspberry cream donut for M your order is ready?" Meant for Meg knowing she had to answer taking a cautious breath she set the book down and to quickly make her way to the counter trying to avoid eye contact with Connie and them whose eyes widen in surprise of the strange new girl's face!

A face Connie immediately felt threatened in beauty standards soft snow white skin with rosy cheeks, natural deep red pink lips, rich chocolate hair and eyes that are like sparkling gems all deep blue and purple! She was short (making her relief on that knowing that she's hotter and taller than this shortcake) but still can see this girl had a really cute figure on her even with her clothes hiding it. In the meantime Meg decided to continue to ignore them as she got her order and saying a soft "thank you.)She quickly made her way to the book section to avoid the popular kids and hopefully be able to relax again after they left and have her coffee in peace.

They also wonder why they never seen her in school before whoever she is Connie would definitely want to make sure to let this one know Who She Is "hey you and the freak in the pink hood!" Oh no Meg nearly froze out of fear but soon turn to annoyance she realized she couldn't let Connie stomp on her like that even if she didn't recognize her that should not give her a right to bully someone she barely knows standing her ground she turned towards her old bully "excuse me I appreciate that you don't call me freak when you barely even know me." Replying coldly a frown on her face "what did you say..?"

Connie was surprise how much guts this girl had very few ever stood up to her and gave her a taste of her own medicine "you barely know me and yet you have the spoiled snot nose attitude to be rude to strangers" This girl's attitude towards Connie surprised her friends not taking Connie's crap like a most teens do the popular crowd "who the hell are you anyway freak!?" Growled Connie raising her hand wanting to slap the girl but was suddenly stopped by Doug gently grabbing her hand "whoa hey take it easy Connie." He calmly said noticing people from the counter staring "people are noticing plus just got back and you don't want to cause trouble and have your parents find out right?"

Trying to talk some sense into the 18 yrs old she was already out of very hot water with her parents warning her that is she gets in trouble one more time she will face worse consequences then boarding school.

Letting out a frustrated groan Connie reluctantly backed off but not without having the last laugh as Meg turned to leave she secretly stick her foot out at Meg's feet trying to trip her and cause her hot coffee to spilled all over her but the reverse happen instead the angle caused Meg to trip backwards and her order to fall towards Connie as he coffee lid fell loose from her grip as Meg tried to regain her balance causing the hot liquid to spill all over Connie's shirt down towards her pants making it look like she wet herself as she let out yell!Thankfully the coffee wasn't dangerous hot when she looked at check her skin it was slightly tented red but still hurt a bit "my new sweater!"Meg looked a bit concerned for Connie but it was her fault that she caused Meg to trip and loose her balance "hey are you all right here?"She tried handing Connie some napkins she had try to help clean the coffee on her clothes but Connie angrily smack her hand away hard causing Meg to quickly retreat your hand back "whoa hey!"cradling her hand "I don't need your pity freak!"scorning "and you're going to pay for ruining my new sweater this was a polyester! Now I'm going to have to go get a professionally cleaned because of your stupid coffee!" Meg's frown deepen "hey I wasn't the one who tried to trip me and not ended up having hot coffee all over themselves actually I think you deserve it for being a bigtoed two-faced bullies like you!" She was really getting sick of this crap and was ready to leave her mood already getting ruined so much for a peaceful morning "her hand that was smack quickly grabbed in a tight grip "ouch! hey that hurt let go!"!" She cried trying to remove her wrist from Connie's grip her friends trying to convince her to stop some people were watching and they were going to get kicked out but Connie definitely wouldn't listen not until she gave this freak a good few slaps to put her in her place! While everyone was distracted by the commotion a familiar figure walked into the shop a little bell dinging their arrival but everyone was too busy with the little fight happening which the person noticed and was not happy about that no building is going to happen on her watch today! As Connie was about to slam her hand against Meg's face closing her eyes for the impact but it never came? That's when she heard a familiar voice "All right now that is enough! " opening her eyes Meg's eyes widen by her unexpected rescuer (Mrs.Brown?)
