I must admit that I'm not currently working at a library, however. It's library adjacent, though! I'm one of the people in charge of a children's website (available in six different languages!) funded by the libraries in my region. So I'm technically some sort of IT person now. It feels weird 😆

I'm so glad you liked the fic! To be honest, I'm not sure if I'll ever write more Cherik, though. As I mentioned, this one was old to begin with and even if I rewatched all the X-Men movies recently — which was why I even remembered that I had this fanfic to begin with — I'm also a little intimidated by the prospect. They're characters with a long, complex canon and I have only ever watched the movies and some of the cartoons when I was a kid. I don't really feel qualified to write anything more substantial than the short one I just posted, if you know what I mean?

(Though, not going to lie, the thought of a finally-getting-together, painfully domestic and fluffy slow-burn fic set after Dark Phoenix is very tempting. That ending felt like a blessing to fanfic writers to just grab Charles and Erik and run.

#THIS TOOK ME FOREVER RAAHHHH #i had help from my mom with stuff like the parts of the traje de mestiza which is the outfit shes wearing #this trend looks so much fun and i wanted to join in.. im first gen canadian though so ive never been to the philippines and only #know thru stories of my parents growing up. im proud of my heritage but there are some things i didnt grow up with that #make me feel disconnected from my culture. so it was nice to talk to my mom abt it and ask for her help with this :3 #the pleated tapis is meant to resemble her skirt.. i had no way of adding her stockings but i noticed the piano key design #so i used that for the saya. the bandana is meant to resemble her hairties and shes wearing bakya wooden slippers with embroidery #i kinda wanted to add the panuelo to resemble her tie as a finishing touch but i forgor ;w; just imagine it i guess #my mom really likes this. shes a little confused abt the blue hair and i had to explain her hair is like that but she thinks shes pretty #originally i wanted her holding the woven pamaypay and fanning herself because ITS HOT ITS 25 FUCKING DEGREES TODAY #but i couldnt get the pose right so i settled for this. i wanna draw her and brazilian miku high fiving ill do that tmrw #my art #myart #hatsune miku #miku worldwide #philippines #vocaloid #miku

Please guys go read Software Entropy by @clubsheartsspades (I hope you don’t mind the tag!)

It literally destroyed me. I forced my sister to read it and it destroyed her too. I just had to draw something for it because I couldn’t get this quote out of my head, but I couldn’t possibly do the scene justice in the same way as in the fanfiction so you need to go read it yourself

Starlight - Blurr and Swerve

Ooooohhh it was a long project !

It all started with my will to make a playlist for every pairing/group of this AU i found/hj. Starlight was an epiphany for me, because i could find a meaning for ALL THE LYRICS with Blurr and Swerve.

This Video is a lot of love for the ship AND certainly for YOUR A.U. Keferon, and your brain, and your style, and Tapa.....

All of these hearts and love are presently tapped together with my non existent animation skills (i just make comics lmao...some of my dearly beloved friends teached me how to edit. And its ugly)

*slap the animation* look how much hyperfixation this bad boy can fit in !!

I’ll credit basically all the people who send asks and arts about the gay bartenders, because I took references and ideas of a lot of them :))

Like the shockwave part or at the end, where we see the ‘real’ (?) Swerve.

I’ll credit @keferon because that’s his AU hehe but also @somerandomcockroach who fed me with their incredible artstyle, it’s so incredible the job you guys do, I’m amazed….!

This scene is based of the ‘I see you Jake’ scene from Avatar (movie with the Naavis) because it’s kind of them for me. Blurr is even Blue !

Shockwave. Make a short appearance but I love his character. And I love drawing him. He is terrifying.

And finally swerve…..Ah swerve……I loved drawing his bedroom hehe. I never draw Background !

Im stupid because what do you mean I wanna try animation and go straight for the 3:00 minute song ???

And I learned how to make the characters slide like PowerPoint half way HAHA

This is all I have to show for it.#I also missed posting this on the Flondon anniversary so I'm double Smad and frustippointed at myself.#This is niche content but I know there are flondoners following me who will understand.#I had to make a second account because all my friends who I played with *also* picked Nemesis and dropped the game at various gates.#I failed every possible check at Knifegate. I was on the verge of madness. And yet I still love this game.#Little known secret about me: over 70% of the blogs I follow on tumblr are flondon rp blogs.#The cool art and character lore brings me a lot of joy!#With that said; what the hell is the coincidence that right as I finish Nemesis -#The flondon community starts a Nemesis Race.#Guys. it’s not worth it. It is a revenge quest about losing everything you have to see your task through.#All to culminate in the discovering that you are beefing it with a fanfiction writing bat.#That said; I do feel like this story was very satisfying for my melancholic doctor.#I knew I would get the choice between sparing or killing my nemesis (the bat) and I had a long time to think it through.#Someone who wants to save lives and (does as much as possible to do make things better for others) choosing against mercy?#Someone who never permitted themselves to let the city truly become a home because they were not a person - they were a tool for grief.#Alright..Yeah the ending was really good.#I will be back with a part two. Clearly I'm tenacious enough to commit to what I started.#If I am not excommunicated on sight by the flondon community I will be back with comics for the other ambitions.
