2024 Valentine Event

Guess what's happening next month? Valentine’s Day! And that comes with our annual Valentine event to make sure no one's alone for that day. Same rules as before applies! In case this is your first time hearing about it, let me go over the details below.

Here’s how this Valentine tradition works:

1) Make a Valentine.

It can be a card like this, an audio piece like so, a drawing - or anything else outside the box! Just keep it PG-13 and clean. (Nothing that promotes hateful/malicious content and nothing religiously offensive either.) Here’s a full list of previous Valentines (along with the men’s accompanying replies).

2) Give your Valentine to one of the men (or women) from any of our games - i.e. Don’t Take This Risk or Beauty and the War (X Playing Pieces).

The webtoons are included. You can give a Valentine to multiple characters if you so wish! (This is Girl x Boy and Boy x Girl, so if you give a Valentine to a man, he’ll treat you as a woman and vice versa. Of course, friendship Valentines can be given to all.)

3) Get a Valentine back about a month later!

Submissions will remain open until February 17, 2024. So if you'd like a response to your Valentine, please do turn in your submission before that time!

"Oh, it does, doesn't it? Hmm...so my cone wrapper shows up for chocolate and vanilla swirl, huh? Not bad!"

"I know it's White Day so it makes sense to have vanilla. But would you have wanted your face on a different ice cream flavor?"

"I don't know. Chocolate vanilla swirl sounds pretty sweet. Literally. But I do like the idea of chocolate mint, too..."

"Mm. That does sound delicious."

"What is with this absolutely normal conversation about ice cream? How about you let me melt you down like ice cream?"

"U-Um...I think you would go on a cone of red velvet ice cream. Or should you be birthday cake?"

"I want you to be my birthday cake."

[flustered] "It's not my birthday!"

"I didn't say it was your birthday. Then again, I didn't say it was my birthday either. I just said I want you to be my birthday cake."

"Unknown, would you leave her alone and just...be a cone of red velvet?"

"I know you're trying to tell him off but that was a really awkward counter. I don't think it landed very well."

"Oh, be quiet, you...you vanilla cone!"

"What? Who are you calling a vanilla cone? You're the one with vanilla in it!"

"But I don't just have vanilla. It also has a chocolate swirl!"

"Well, I definitely wouldn't be vanilla! I'd be more like...Neapolitan."

"So you want to be three swirls."

"Wait, I don't want to be similar to Trold's vanilla swirl!"

"It's not just vanilla! it has chocolate, too!"

"Are you trying to open up an ice cream parlor? Just go on to the next White Day reply already."

I'm worried for ambrosia mentally. She's gone through so much before the first act even starts.

When she's a really young kid she witnesses her best friend get strangled by his twin brother. Do you know what that would do to a child? A child who's been taught peace and principles by their family their entire life, only to turn and see someone you care for very much be strangled by his own brother?

Then you have to think of the things she's seen and heard. The Phoenix clan being pacifists on an island where no one else is - they're basically pushovers to the other clans. They must have been struggling for so long to find a decent place on the island.

And then the war happens. They turn to the Vi in order to survive, but the Vi go and start conquering everyone! I can guarantee you the pacifist clan didn't want all that!

Ambrosia could have lost family in the Hulder's takeover. SHE could have died if it weren't for Arsenik! The wolf jury scene is probably the worst of it all!

Now she's surrounded by bloodied and beaten warriors, encompassed entirely by death and dismay, doing her best to take care of everything all at once while putting on a brave face.

And then the Imugi come in, and she accidentally kills one of them in self defense. I doubt she'll face repercussions from anyone else for that - but internally? She must be screaming. She didn't want to do that, she never did, and I really feel like that's something she'll never be able to truly let go.

Ambrosia may act innocent, but my god is she not naive. She literally cannot be given all the things she's had to experience in her life. And she hasn't even fully LIVED IT YET.

She just wants to believe that people can be good to each other and everyone can live happily. And my god is it going to get her hurt in the end. God damn it

Hi, world~ It's been a while since I posted anything on Tumblr and first post of 2024~ Happy New Year to all~ So like last year, 2023, I am hoping (& crossing my fingers) that I posted these Valentines correctly and if not, I will work on redoing it again if possible. Made two separate Valentines. First collection of Valentines (this post here) is mainly to Crown Ruler as my way of saying thank you for making last year's Valentine responses and to show my support for the Poison Apple Tales visual novel games/webtoons. It actually spells out "Beauty And The War X Playing Pieces - Happy Valentine's Day." The second collection of Valentines (which I will post later in a separate post just to look visibly organized) is for the same characters that I sent Valentines to last year. I left on each Valentine digital gram credit links and will include here credit to Canva website and to Poison Apple Tales. I truly enjoyed making these Valentines and am glad that I started them early last year. Grogu likes Din’s mustache.

So I’m hella excited over the third season coming I just pray we get some more of Din’s feelings about his past, so I finally drew this little thing I’ve been thinking about for a while ;v;

I firmly believe wearing a helmet for your whole life is no reason to not style yourself like you want, so let Din have a mustache if he wants™!, but also I like to think he looks at himself on the mirror and can’t help but think of his dad :’) so he keeps the mustache.

Also pls let Din adopt Grogu and show him his face when they’re alone!!!!
