Noya + Satsuki and Mei + Kaede are the most chaotic pairings. Avoid encountering all four Nishinoya siblings at once. You may not survive. All three sisters make it to the Shiratorizawa match but refuse to acknowledge to Noya's face that they were there to support him.

there was a rough period around when noya was 3 that their mom divorced her husband and they ended up living with mom + grandfather and getting a name change to their mom's last name. noya and satsuki barely remember it, but the rest of the family could see how they were affected at the time. the older two actually remember their father and took the divorce a lot harder than the younger two, but kaede's better at hiding it. all the nishinoya siblings kind of had loner periods around that time while their grandfather was doing his best to help raise them and get them to heal. kaede and mei are technically the more chill siblings, but kaede will beat your ass if you bring up the missing father in the picture or somehow find out and use his last name for any of them. despite their general air of gremlinhood, the nishinoya siblings do try their best to avoid causing any extra problems for their mother. when either of the high school siblings get suspended, the council's first order of business is to avoid stressing out Mom with the incident.

Bio-E's don't all have the same level of enhancements, their powers do vary! so Tommy is canonically faster than Dream! guessing he brags about it all the time. most EM's powers do vary, actually, for example, some Geos are probably more driven toward plants while others toward earthquakes, master (high-level) Aquas might be able to control ice, etc

not all shifters have permanent physical animal traits! shifters with visible traits like animal ears, mouths, noses, etc. are actually born that way and they're called hybrids (I'm unoriginal lmaooo), maybe I worded it wrong but it's specifically hybrids who are outcasted because of how they look. most shifters don't actually display physical traits (though they might display certain behavioral traits which are less obvious) and they are just able to morph into animals. also, lower-level shifters might not have full control of their abilities, some of them aren't able to shift at will, so they might not be able to even if they tried. for hybrids though, their full human form is their hybrid form--it's how they were born so they can't really change their ear shape or smt

level 5 is the highest level of patients in the general facility, for Unit Zero, they call them level S's but they can't call George that cause they obviously don't want to out themselves. danger and power level determines the level a patient is admitted at! it goes from level 1-5 and from lowest to highest colors it's white(1), green(2), yellow(3), orange(4), blue(5/S). Elysium is under the impression that Quackity is just a normal multi-shifter, meaning he's just able to morph into a lot of animals, but they have no idea he can morph into people, otherwise he'd 100% be in Unit Zero. he's also not considered very dangerous, so it's why he's in Elysium but he doesn't have level 5 status, he's just a level 3. Ranboo is level S, so his cuffs are blue!

I have this thing where I love to whine about being so busy but I dont like not being busy and im also stubborn as hell (last semester my friend tried to tell me doing nano would be too much since I barely even had time to eat dinner so I fixed my eating and studying schedule and made time to write solely to prove her wrong). I get really annoyed when I have a lot of worked and no time for myself, so I use my homework and studying as motivation to get to the end of the day and work on usually just one scene (it's all I really have the energy for since I spend like an hour trying to make it good during the 2nd draft)

Jake grows facial hair pretty easy (that part is just canon). Usually he either lets it grow and ignores it till it gets long, or stays cleanshaven, but the in-between stage is physically painful for everyone else at the campfire bc you wake up and see rugged 2day scruffy woodsman stretch and he sees you staring and goes, “What?” Looking thoroughly unimpressed and Meg sheds a tear and Claudette pretends to not be looking and stares at her journal and Dwight gets heart palpitations it’s just bad for the whole group. When he shaves he’s an edgy dumbass and does it with a sharpened hunk of metal he made into a knife for himself and Dwight saw him shaving once and had to go sit down.

Jake has a soft spot for many of the survivors he’s known longer (honestly at this point, he’s pretty attached to the lot of them though), but especially the ones who work really hard at protecting other survivors. Double points if you’re younger than him. He would kill for Claudette, and take a bullet meant for Quentin, but would not convey this to them at all. Jake puts almost zero effort into making sure people knows he likes them. The people he has a soft spot for especially are also not always the ones he prefers to spend time with. While they’re survivors he spends less time with personally, Jake respects Feng Min for being the snarky little gremlin she is, and Tapp’s dedication to his job even here. Weirdly, while the people he likes often aren’t aware of affection, the ones he respects but isn’t as close to usually are aware of the respect. Jake also thinks he doesn’t like having friends and spending time not alone, but he does.

If asked point blank his thoughts on a survivor he likes, he’d probably just shrug or say, “They contribute to the team,” or “She works hard,” or “He’s fine,” because Jake just be like that. He had a hard time getting close to anyone initially because of how he grew up. Jake’s very guarded. He’s used to people manipulating and using each other, which makes keeping anything vulnerable close to his chest just necessary as he sees it. Boy doesn’t trust easy. Or open up. Ya need a can opener. Boy also does not like getting pushed around. Least favorite killers (aside from Nightmare) are probably Doctor and Ghostface, because he cannot stand being forced to do things or used. He’d rather take a chainsaw to the back than have someone lord power over him. He’s also got a looong memory, so if you fuck him over, he is not the kind to forget and forgive. He is the kind to resent and remember. Not that he never forgives people, but boy would have to really believe whatever happened was regretted and the person wasn’t like that anymore to let something that made him very angry go. He’s quiet angry though. Bide your time and get vengeance kinda angry. Would never let someone push him around. If a killer tried to fuck with him, he’d do everything in his power to kill them.

While Jake is tough and likes to hike just to be out and moving, and enjoys toughing it out, Meg enjoys being outside more as a fun thing than a wildnerness lifestyle thing. She has a lot of energy, and even in the realm, all that adhd can be a bitch. It would be easy to focus on the shitty stuff happening and drown in that, so she likes to keep moving, like she has since she was a kid and started running. Meg loves hard, and if she cares about you, she’ll make sure you know it. Not good at shutting up or realizing if she’s been going on for too long, girl has passion for everything.

Meg talks a big game, but does not have as much confidence as she pretends to have. She has abandonment issues, but they’re less, ‘my dad abandoned me’ and more ‘everyone but my mom, from him to grade school friends, hasn’t stuck around,’ so she does worry about that and coming on too strong, which she is aware she often does, but she can’t get herself to turn down the power settings on herself even when she tries. She’s never been good at making friends, so all of this in the realm is kinda new to her, since no one can leave. Meg would tell almost no one those things about herself. She cares hard though, and will try to distract other people from realm despair any way she can, because it’s what she needs and she assumes what they must need too. And to be fair, she ain’t wrong. Good at cultivating activities and drinks loving her friends juice.

Big goofball. BIG goofball. Also big gay. Well, bi af, but w a pretty strong preference for the ladies. She is simple of heart. Sees a girl, loses ability to think. Bonded with Nea over this problem. High int, low wisdom, big dumbass. Her weaknesses include girls’ eyes, voices, accents, freckles, scars, stomachs, legs, ass, titties, hair, hair dye, laughs, hands, eye contact, and cute accessories. Not great at expressing her feelings when she catches them, but tries hard. Actually pretty good at romancing once she gets into the groove. It’s just getting there she sucks at. Loyal as hell. Will go to bat for her friends and would rather die than betray them.

Meg has a real temper, especially when she feels like something being done to her or someone else is unjust/unfair, and will always try to fix those things even when it’s hopeless. Can and will weaponize her anger extremely effectively. Ridiculous memory for pop culture, shit memory for homework and things she was supposed to be doing. Memelord, but with some class.

Idk if this is because I identified with Claudette really strongly when I first started playing dbd or not, but I have always seen her as Asexual & Panromantic. Attracted to kindness. 

She gets overwhelmed fairly easily, but has been improving that by necessity since arriving in the realm, and can tap into the mom-friend override to fix problems for people who aren’t her. Has a hard time telling when people are teasing her/joking, but everyone knows this so they take it easier on her than each other.

Like Meg, had no friends before this, so it’s exciting and new, and a little scary, but mostly really good. She worries about other people a lot, and doesn’t always know how to help, but she tries. Very relieved Dwight volunteered to be team leader.

Enjoys recording things and studying. Would be fascinated by the Entity’s world if she wasn’t always being killed. Seems small and weak and easy to take down, but she has the strength of will to kill God herself if backed into a corner, especially when fighting for someone she loves. Sweet does not mean she will not fight back, and since being in the realm, and getting over her initial freezing up at the sight of horrifying murderers, she has worked extremely hard to be brave and take an active roll protecting people whenever she can. She is still terrified a lot, but has learned to push through that to help her friends and herself.

Loves animals, including ones a lot of people don’t like (bugs, snakes, rats, etc) and would and has definitely tried to snag a scorpion and a cockroach from trials to study before, and tried to befriend the realm rats now that they exist. Tries to get Jake to show her how to get birds to like you but does know how to ask him right.

Nervous about interpersonal relationships and unsure of herself. Really likes everyone but horrible at telling how other people feel. Feels like she always comes off wrong and can’t put words to things well even when she understands them super well. Does her best 24/7. Incredibly smart and talented. Knowledgeable about her passions. Is always thinking 4th dimensionally and has saved the team many a time by pulling off wild bullshit that makes sense kind of just barely but no one else would have thought of.

Dwight was a loser and kind of a douche growing up, kind of selfish and entitled and weak, but is no longer that person after a few years in the realm. He works hard to make good on his promises to look out for everyone, and cares about them very genuinely. Great at thinking on his feet and sounding like he knows more than he does, wonderful at regulating tasks to people efficiently, and not a bad strategist. 

Being the kind of person now who would not have liked the person he was a few years ago causes a little cognitive dissonance and self-doubt, but he’s trying. Genuinely enjoys hearing about people’s days and interests even when he’s completely lost. 

Not a fan of heights. If the fear of heights was not vastly overpowered by fear of sharp object, he would actively avoid the old ironworks in trials, but alas.

Used to play video games a lot. Thought he was good at them. Was not. Was definitely not.

Self-improvement king. Works hard and is a really decent dude. A very good sport. Used to be an asshole, so now that he’s nice he’s pretty damn forgiving if other people put in the work to improve too (my boy’s no hypocrite). Has mellowed out a lot and is pretty chill and nice but the damn fool will break his own heart by taking things people say the wrong way, or things they mean as a joke literally, if it’s something he thinks is true about himself, and will totally miss context and vocal inflection and just be like, “I know but I’m trying TuT.”

Big gay but in denial and confused

Just at this point really does want people to get to go home and be ok. Loves hearing stories and listening to his friends talk at the campfire because it makes him feel like things might be okay. Get the same result just by being near his friends, especially the other og3 who have been with him forever. If they’re all still there, things have to turn out okay someday. :’ ) Has never really told them that, because he’s supposed to be the leader, and thinks they’d feel less secure if they knew he depends on being able to sleep close to them at night to feel like he’ll be okay himself. Not in a they’d judge me way, but in a I really don’t want to let them down way. He wants them to think he’s got a handle on things even when he really doesn’t.

I was gonna do Philip too but I got this this morning and this post is already ridiculously long TuT, so here you go. Plus one mini Philip one.

Philip feels responsible for the young man he saw his boss kill the day the Entity got him. He knows that he killed scores of people unknowingly for Azarov, and those weigh, but he thinks sometimes late at night that if he could have just saved that one, it might have been enough to make him feel absolved someday for all the other deaths on his head. He remembers his face very well, and how terrified he was, and the moment of confusion and relief, and almost gratefulness when Philip let him go. He thinks over and over that if he’d just talked to him–assumed something was up, and gotten him to be quiet. Seen Azarov in time and stopped him. So many little things, and the young man would have lived. Even if the others were things he was completely blind to, he feels like that one is especially his fault, and that he could have stopped it. That one really haunts him.

Inktober day two: Guns

me, realizing I have consistently forgotten to put my work on tumblr and that a bunch of drabbles have been rotting in my google docs (though admittedly only up to 4th bc my weekend was hectic af - I’ll try play catch up with the others but HERE WE GO)

His hands are sticky. Sticky and wet and slippery. He wants desperately to wipe his hands on his shirt, on a towel, on anything - but then he’d have to put down the gun that is pointed shakily at the man who has his arm wrapped around Klaus’s neck.

It wasn’t supposed to be like this. It was just supposed to be a dumb outing with his idiot brother so that he would shut up about waffles while he was trying to work. He’d gotten Klaus to promise to not bother him in his room for an entire week if he just went with him to the hole in the wall diner that Klaus insisted was the best in the world.

Who the fuck robbed a shitty diner?

It had been three guys, and Five had noticed them from the moment they entered, seeing the glint of sunlight on gunmetal. His first immediate thought was that it was the Commission, because who else would show up in this random place at a time that just happens to be when Five is present? And he assumes that the Commission doesn’t want too much collateral damage - they waited for the tow truck driver to leave and Agnes to be in the back room before confronting him. 

It’s only three guys, not the massive hit squad that invaded the concert hall. There was to be some measure of subtlety if they don’t want to draw too much attention to themselves.

But he assumes wrong. 

The lead guy swing his gun up and shoots at the ceiling, making everyone panic. Five reacts automatically, grabbing Klaus and bodily shoving him down under the table. Klaus gives a cry of surprise, and pain where he smacks forehead and elbows against the table and seat, but Five doesn’t care about that right now.  He just reacts.

He jumps to the lead goon, and grabs the gun to wrench up and away. The butt of the gun slams into the guy’s face, bone crunching and blood flying. Five broke his nose. The guy stumbles away. Five doesn’t have time to address that before the second guy is on him.

The rifle Five has in his hands is big and dramatic, but not exactly handy for close quarter combat. To be fair, no guns are handy for close quarter combat, which was exactly why Five generally preferred to fight that way. But it’s at least handy as a weird shaped baton which Five slams into the stomach of the second guys and makes him double over.

The first guy recovered and Five bring up the rifle again to slam it into the guy’s face for a second time, making him stumble backwards with both hands over his face with a shout. With the extra room it’s easier to bring up the gun and shoot the second guy in the leg.

The first guy gets his hands on the gun and pulls, and Five doesn’t bother to try and overpower him. The dude is big and muscular, and Five is a scrawny teen. He’s well aware of his strengths and weaknesses. He fights smarter, not harder.

The guy stumbles back, not expecting the lack of resistance. Five takes this wonderful opportunity to grab one of the little diner forks that fell to the floor in the initial panic of the men entering. In Five’s opinion it’s a handier weapon that the gun - more versatile. 

Five surges forward and lashes out, burying the fork into the leader’s shoulder. It has the added bonus of the guy dropping the gun with a howl, hand going to the fork and wrenching it out. Weaponized, the guy lurches towards Five.

And Five? He jumps. He snags another fork off a nearby table and pops up behind the guy and buries a second fork in the guy’s junction between shoulder and neck and twists before stooping and scooping up the gun again.

He points it at the two and they raise their hands in surrender, but then he hears a cough behind him and remembers that there were three guys.

Five turns, and the third guy has his arm wrapped around Klaus’s neck, a handgun pointed at Five’s brother’s temple with a hand that shakes.

“D-drop the gun!” The new guy shouts, voice cracking in his nervousness, “Or I shoot this guy!”

Five’s hands are covered in blood. It would be so easy to let the rifle slip from his fingers. The leader is crouched down with his two stab wounds and blood streaming down his face from a twice broken nose, the second guy is on the floor in a puddle of blood pressing his hands against the hole that Five put in his thigh.

The third guy’s hands shake, and Five watches the pointed finger twitch against the trigger with more attention than he’s given anything else today. 

They’re amateurs. They’re three goons who are complete idiots for trying to rob a tiny diner in broad daylight. They don’t know what they’re doing.

Five would have preferred professionals. He knows how the Commission operates. He knows how professionals work, what they know their best options to be, what they’re likely to do next. These guys, Five can’t predict. 

Five’s fingers tighten around the gun, and he doesn’t drop it. 

“What?” Five calls back, arching an eyebrow. The tried and true method of being a brat. “Why would I drop my weapon? Why don’t you?”

“I- I’ll shoot this guy! You were sitting with him!” The guy sputters, looking very uncertain. Mercifully, Klaus stays silent. Whether that’s thanks to genuine intelligence or because the guy’s arm around Klaus’s neck is making it difficult to breathe is up for debate. 

“You have one hostage.” Five says, nodding to Klaus, “I have two.” He gestures with the rifle towards the two goons who flinch away. “And both of these idiots are in need of medical attention, but if you drop the gun and don’t fuck with anyone else, then I don’t care what happens to you guys and I’ll stop attacking.”

“I have more that one hostage! I have the rest of the diner! I can just start shooting!” The idiot argues, taking the gun from Klaus’s temple to wave in the air to punctuate his point. It makes Five relax at least a tiny bit.

“A hostage is a person I care about saving.” Five tells the man bluntly, “There’s only one of those in here.”

Silence follows that statement. Some civilians are looking at him in shock, but honestly Five doesn’t care about them. He can’t care about them. If he looks too closely at people, he starts remembering bodies and trying to match faces to corpses. If he looks too closely, he starts thinking about the innocents he killed and the families and the bystanders and everything else he keeps locked inside of a little box in his heart.

He cares about seven whole people in the universe, and those people are his siblings and his mother. 

It’s quick after that. The guy reads Five’s sincerity in his eyes, his lack of regard for the lives of the men behind him. Five only refrained from killing them because he was pretty sure they weren’t Commission agents and he didn’t want to have to deal with another one of Luther’s ‘murder is bad’ lectures. He surrenders, dropping the gun to the floor with a clatter and running over to his fellow robbers, pressing his hands against the wounds to keep pressure on. 

Five doesn’t have time to wait for the sirens he can hear approaching. He hands his gun to the nearest civilian and jumps next to his brother.

“Come on Klaus,” He says urgently, tugging his brother’s elbow to steer them towards the back door. After seeing Five fight two adult men and stab one with forks, no one stops them. 

Klaus follows easily. Way too easily. They make it all the way out the door before Klaus seems to reboot and bursts out with a loud, “You care about me!”

A quick glance reveals that Klaus is making the sappiest face Five has ever seen. He has to nip this in the bud. “No. I just don’t want to have to explain to Diego about how your idiocy finally got you murdered.”

“You said you care about me!” Klaus crows loudly, making Five hiss because quite frankly he’s still covered in blood and the only reason he isn’t just chain jumping home is because that would mean abandoning Klaus. “You said I was the only person you cared about in the diner!”

“I care about Mom’s disappointed face.” Five shoots back, dragging Klaus down another alley. “Though I’m caring less and less the more you open your mouth.”

“Hold up hold up!” Klaus cries, digging in his heels and bringing them both to a stop. He gives Five a critical once over, pursing his lips at the state of his brother. He looks like, well, like he’s been in a fight to the death with two armed robbers. “We need to do something about this if we don’t want to be stopped on the way home.”

Five scowls darkly. He really should just ditch Klaus and jump home, it’s the simplest and easiest solution. But for some reason, he can’t quite bring himself to let go of Klaus’s elbow that he’d been using to drag his taller sibling around by. 

He startles badly when something brushes against his face, before realizing it’s Klaus scrubbing one of the sleeves on his black jacket over the blood splatter on Five’s cheek. Klaus hushes him, scrubbing harder.

It makes Five pull away, baring his teeth as he jumps and reappears a few feet away. He gets a certain amount of satisfaction watching Klaus almost overbalance - that’s what he gets for treating Five like a child. 

Klaus huffs like Five is the one being unreasonable here. 

Five is really giving some serious consideration to just jumping home by himself when Klaus starts stripping in the middle of the alley. Five gives his brother a face that clearly indicates his question of what the fuck. 

This face becomes even more pronounced when Klaus thrusts his jacket out in Five’s direction. 

After a solid minute of Five and Klaus staring at each other, Klaus sighs deeply. “Wear the jacket. It’s big enough to cover your shirt and hands which, I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but your entire torso kind of looks like you just auditioned for a shitty slasher film.”

Five can’t… exactly argue with that reasoning. He scowls, and snatches the jacket away and shrugging it on. It fits okay around the shoulders - Klaus is a skinny bastard - but it’s way too long and the sleeves go well past his hands. This is what they need, yes, but it makes Five feel like a little kid playing dress up which he’s not exactly appreciative of. He can’t even hike the sleeves up because, as Klaus so gracefully pointed out, his hands are covered in blood. 

He deals with this by shoving his hands in the pockets, extra sleeve length and all, and vividly picturing stabbing Klaus in the face when he coos over his smaller brother. 

“I hate you so much.” Five informs his brother, “Let’s just go.”

“Aw,” Klaus clasps his hands together and presses them to his cheek, gazing at Five like he just proclaimed his love for puppies. “I love you, too.”

youve probably said this somewhere already and i am just The Stupid but how did deidara first meet the trio...

dont u worry my friend ur not stupid ily.. i honestly probably said it a long time ago and i dont want u to have to dig thru my oc tag to find it i really need to work on the timeline for the oc universe to share it w everyone so ppl can understand what the fuck im talking about more but anyway!

they have a pretty unconventional meeting as far as best friends for life and future spouse meetings go theyre like.. a very vaguely enemies to friends thing they meet when the trio break into one of the akatsukis underground bases to find 1. evidence of the akatsuki/akatsuki subordinates involvement in the death of innas team 2. steal back the puppet that sasori made of nethers adoptive mom after her death.

the trio get in and get out of the base with both evidence and nethers mom and are able to rebury her mother along with looking over the evidence and talking about their next move forward.

meanwhile sasori has returned to his workshop and immediately realizes that someone has broken in & after taking stock he realizes that his most recent addition to his collection (nethers mom) has been stolen and hes predictably furious.

he sets out to quickly gather intel on who could be interested in stealing the puppet and figures out that nether is responsible. he angrily demands that deidara go out and retrieve the puppet and the theif and deidara really isnt that invested in it hes just like yeah whatever my dude peace out.

this is all happening within the course of three days or so and because of that the trio have already covered a good amount of ground and deidara may be a dumbass but hes not stupid and hes good at finding his targets, so hes able to spot the trio and recognizes nether from the file sasori was able to get on her and sends down a clay creature to try and drag her up to his bigger bird.

the trio really dont like fighting in general, inna refuses to harm people with the weapons she collects and only will use them in self defense or in an effort to protect someone else in an emergency circumstance and although spectre uses pshycic/spirit powers in hypothetical fights they only have so much energy to use.

so anyway basically what happens is that nether is able to cut through the clay with her ribbons and drops down to the bird and is like HEY! WHAT THE FUCK! and deidara in turn is like UH IM THE ONE THAT SHOULD BE SAYING WHAT THE FUCK YOU JUST CUT UP MY BEAUTIFUL ART

and nether just starts losing her shit up in the sky while inna and spectre are like oh god oh fuck this is not good and inna is very good at strategies and figuring problems out so shes starting to try and sort this out but before she can tell spectre her plan they go hey inna catch and shes like wait what and then spectre astral projects out of their body which just slumps over

anyway. they overpower deidara and possess him and meanwhile inna is using a grappling hook to get to the bird after doing acrobatics thru the trees and calculating the exact distance and angles she needs to throw it at in her mind.

so anyway spectres like well i can only hold this guy off for a half hour at most and innas like thats great thats fine you can get this bird on the ground though right and spectres like yeah sure i can. ha ha wait. uh. maybe not. ah. fuck so theyre just stuck up in the air until they figure out a way to work together to get down using innas grappling hook, nethers ribbons, and the last bit of spectres energy as they stop possessing deidara to help them float down.

they go down back to spectres body and then skedaddle the heck out of there and then deidara wakes up like an hour later and he just screams angrily for a bit bc yknow i would scream after that too.

i know this is already long forgive me but were not done w the initial meeting yet.. the trio realize that deidaras from the akatsuki and that that means that their sneaky heist has been discovered and they dont really have a lot of time to figure out a new strategy because by this time sasori has come out and is after them as well, the trio get seperated as he enters the playing field and inna decides that shes going to try and distract deidara for as long as she possibly can because sasori is really focused on attacking nether and she knows that being attacked by both enemies at once would be really bad so she just spends the whole time jumping from tree to tree talking with deidara and asking him all sorts of questions and just completely refusing to fight him while also finding out stuff.

meanwhile spectre has regained about half of their energy and before the fight even begins they realize that the only way they have a chance of getting out of this is by having a suprise up their sleeve so they quickly put a protective seal over their body and leave it to partially possess nether which basically means theyre just surrounding nether with their energy and also feeding off of her energy so together theyre stronger in both their defense and their attacks.

without getting into 2 the details of the fight against sasori too much bc this is already long theyre able to break part of hirukos tail and smash through part of the rock enclosure that sasori has cornered them into in order to escape and regroup with inna.

its after this fight that the trio decide that they need to find a permanent place to stay that can be a safe home for them even as theyre looking for answers in the death of innas team and so they shortly find a small village which is fairly far away from the larger more powerful villages and they refurbish an old empty apartment building into their little shop with the apartment they all live in upstairs!

they live pretty peacefully there for almost a year until sasori is able to find them but rather than straight up attacking them hes interested in gathering information on them since they managed to beat him and could possibly be useful in the future to him so he starts spying on them himself out of hiruko because of course practically no one knows what he really looks like so going into the shop without any real disguise is the best disguise and nethers just like huh that quiet guy who just spends the whole time hes in here looking at our plants and glaring at me is back again. weird.

eventually he gets too busy to go spy on them himself and he sends deidara in his place which is a very big mistake on his part because deidara just blows his whole cover right away and instead of spying on the trio he becomes friends with them and is blowing off akatsuki business to be with them before eventually faking his death to live with them and to try and be a better person because theyve been such a good influence on him and shown a better part of the world to him

Oh for fucks sake, the people are all falling for this shit (mainly referring to reddit).

First of all, most people aren't debating whether or not Landy should make SP for adults, the debate is more like is this even still a kids book series? According to Germany, no lol. Fun fact: phase 1 was "12 and up" and phase "2 is 14" and up in Germany. In England phase one is "9 and up" and phase 2 is "11 and up". So German phase 1 has a higher age rating than English phase 2.

Second, diversity is the least thing anyone is complaining about. The most people are complaining about regarding representation is that he made his one nb a fucking cunt. Which I guess is bc Landy thinks being mean makes you cool. It does not, in my experience, the nice people were almost the most popular ones. This is why I am calling him out for virtue signalling. Bc he is picking out this 'criticism' to hide behind and act oh so virtous. and get the shoulder pats like a good boy that his pathetic frail little ego desires so desperately

And then in the third act of the tweets he babbles very vaguely about the main things people complain about: the lore he is pulling randomly out of his ass. Of course writing more means expanding lore. The problem everyone has is characters like Abyssinia puffing in out of nowhere along with Serafina and everything getting the shit retconned out of it. Or how lazy the big fight scenes were everybody was looking forward to (Vile vs Vile, Vile vs Mev, Mev vs Unnamed). Or how he turned all the big players to punching bags like Mevolent and the fucking Faceless Ones themselves. Or how the Unnamed, a mysterious character everybody was speculating and waiting for got two scenes before getting killed of by a punch of school kids. He was reduced to a red herring and a Voldemort parody and that was such a waste of a character that should have been the final boss instead of Valkyrie yet again. Or how Val and Skul keep getting evil clones, plotlines are getting recycled or stolen. He's giving his damn best to rip every trait I loved about Nefarian out of him. And he dropped all plotlines I even remotely cared about to follow plotlines I completely hated. Or how Val keeps pulling new powers out of her ass when the plot demands it including MOTHERFUCKING TIME TRAVEL with arbitrary rules at best. And then she gets suddenly nerfed so thugs and draugr can beat her up when she went up against god-tier characters in the same damn book. At this point she is so overpowered even reddit is like hold the fuck up this is too much. Or how his world-building is complete bullshit. Like the arbiter corps is tyrannical as fuck and I can't see the Sanctuaries across the world tolerating them. Or how it was never mentioned in phase 1 eventho it was so old even Skul's mom worked for it. Or how the entire big ass continent of Africa only has 3 Sanctuaries or how according to SP Asia doesn't even fucking exist. Another issue are these weird ass sexual undertones that have only gotten worse in phase 2. How phase 2 ruined pretty much all characters but China and Val the most. Or this weird ass family tree shit going on. Or another big complaint is him trying to pull a police corruption plotline while Val and Skul and police corruption and nepotism incarnate. Or how he can write exactly 3 different character types an you can barely tell the characters apart anymore bc of that and bc there are too goddamn many of them and most of them are so 2D and unremarkable that you forget them instantly. And yeah I'm fucking pissed about Flannery. That lil shit got more screen time than the fucking Unnamed or another character I actually wanted to see more off. And he keeps pulling this deus ex machine shit. OG Nef is my fav but not even I am happy about the way he was resurrected bc that was some convoluted bullshit jesus harold christ.

And be on reddit be going like "But I respect that he admits it". So id I. In the beginning. Now he seems to think that rushing out half-assed lazy shit is ok as long as he acknowledges that "it didn't turn out as well as he wanted too". No, not accepting that anymore. I don't think he's trying anymore. I'm accepting half-assed shit from fanfiction writers, but not him. He is getting fucking PAID for this. Rather handsomely at that too so I expect some quality if I am going to pay money for it. Got that??

And this isn't even touching on the mess that is the timeline or how he can't even get Val's age right. Or how Omen's father randomly changed names or how some in the information in the Grimoire summaries was straight-up false. Or how some things like the magic sucker and Nocturnal's branch of the church only got their names in the Grimoire and not in the books themselves. And a million other things that are wrong with these books. Or all the things that are wrong with him as a person.

Honey, shut the fuck up about diversity and talk about the issues people are actually complaining about, you virtue-signalling little shit.

I haven’t written one of these in quite a while. I’ve been a hell of a mess, although it’s not PTSD related so it’s not entirely what I made this blog for anyway. I just haven’t felt like talking about it. I’ve been doubting and overthinking every relationship I’m in to the point that I’m making a few of them really awkward. I ran into my ex friend and my old drama teacher, which made me ridiculously anxious bc of how horribly he treated me (which did actually make my PTSD a hell of a lot worse, to the point that I avoid doing theatre and performance related things now.) I also ran into the only person who’s still my friend from my old school, so it was very nice to see her again.

None of that really feels like it matters though. Honestly, nothing feels like it matters. I’m really into fandoms and shit bc I love escapism, and One Direction is the first one I really got into. All of the boys have done so much for me, they’ve literally saved my life and saved me in so many other ways. They gave me a family in this fandom, but they also gave me a family in themselves and their families. And maybe it’s really stupid to everyone else, because they don’t understand, but they’ve been here for me for years when no one else was. My life completely changed two years ago when Louis’ mum died. My best friend (at my school) at the time was really insensitive and I ended up switching friend groups entirely, which is what brought me to transferring schools, which brought me where I am now. My life did end up a lot better, because I’ve worked on making myself a better person - the kind of person Johannah would be proud of. And I think I’m finally becoming that.

The good thing is that my life is in a much better place now, because even if they don’t understand, all of my friends have really been there for me since Fizzy died. I’ve been going through hell mentally in the past few months (someone tell me why my mental breakdowns always start in January and last until the summer), and losing Fizzy kind of broke me. It was such a shock and my happiness really revolves around Louis and his family. They were all finally doing so well and it was really helping me feel better, and then everything crashed. Him and his siblings are all so young to be going through all of this, and it’s so fucking cruel and unfair. I want to take this as a reminder to always spread love while you can, to take every risk in life and to make this life the best possible while you can, and I’ve been trying my best. I’ve been telling everyone how much I love them without holding back and spending as much time as I can with my friends instead of isolating myself. But I can’t shake the feeling that this world is just so fucking horrible. Especially since this happened at the same time as the New Zealand shooting and multiple others around the world and even in my town. It’s like normal for me to feel this overwhelming sense of doom, like everything is about to end and like everything is horrible and pointless, but this feeling is so overpowering that I can’t shake it at all. I keep almost starting to cry in class, despite the fact that it’s been days, because I just can’t understand how so many horrible things keep happening to people. I’ve been ridiculously depressed since around a day before Fizzy died, and it just won’t go away to the point that I’m not the same around my friends and I’m slowly realizing that half of my happiness around them is an act right now bc I can’t make this feeling go away.

I wish I had died instead of Fizzy. Which is horrible and morbid and ridiculous and irrational, but I just want Louis and his family to not be in this amount of pain. I want there to be a reason that I’m here and she isn’t, which once again is stupid and irrational because deep down I’m starting to feel like maybe there isn’t a reason for anything. Shit just fucking happens and it’s horrible and painful and there’s no greater purpose or reasoning for it. It’s beautiful and calming (in a bittersweet way) to think that Fizzy is with her mom right now, but it’s too fucking soon. She had so many plans and so much potential. She had SUCH a bright fucking future and I don’t understand why this would happen to such a beautiful soul like hers. I just have no faith or hope in anything in the universe right now, which is a real problem since the one thing I’ve always had faith in is that the universe always has a reason for the things it does, you just have to trust it. I’m not feeling that right now, and I don’t know what to believe in or have hope in anymore. I don’t know why I’m here and I already haven’t been looking forward to my future. I looked up to Fizzy a lot for making me feel like my future could really be something, and now she’s just gone when she was just getting started with her life.

This post is depressing and rambly as hell, so I sincerely thank you if you’ve managed to read this far. I needed to get this out of my system. I’m a mess right now, more than usual. What did you think of the new bomb? :O

OKAY so tl;dr: much better than sb5. which yeah, is still a pretty low standard, but this bomb had far more interesting elements to it! the first three eps had a season 1 vibe that i really liked, and the last two were pretty engaging as well. that isn’t to say that my sentiments are all praise though. i’ll put an episode-by-episode opinion under the cut!

lion 4: alternate ending: the art and colors were actually really nice in this one! steven and greg were visibly chubby, too, thank god…….and the reappearance of lion. too bad he won’t come back for a while since his voice actor is so expensive :\

this episode would have worked wayyy better as a season one or two episode though. ive heard people say that the point of this episode was to show that you shouldn’t overhype things (i.e., steven overhyping what he was supposed to find given rose’s key only to find out it’s an alternate tape), but it just immediately fell flat when you realized that the tape for “nora” was pretty much a carbon copy of the tape for steven. i felt really sad because it ultimately robbed the emotional value of lion 3′s ending for me. 

lion 3 is the first time we really get to see rose quartz, and she’s shown as this beautiful, all-loving being. and then we get into some darker stuff as the series progresses, learning she kept a bunch of secrets and has done some questionable things. so when we see her again, it would have been really nice to balance that out and have her with some deleted messages for steven, perhaps (like…actual alternate endings)? to sort of show she still genuinely cares about her son instead of making him seem like “just another outcome.”

(annnd this is just me perhaps but GOD that line from greg, “you could be steven or nora or anyone else, you could always change your name” just made my mind scream TRANS GIRL STEVEN but yknow. idk if theyd ever go in that direction but wishful thinking :’) )

doug out: HHHHHHHH i LOVE doug maheswaran so much. what a dork. i kinnnd of felt like the writing in this was…a bit stiff, though. perhaps it was just doug’s va’s delivery?? it felt kind of text-to-speak. but perhaps they were just trying to go for the effect of doug clearly putting on an act to impress connie and steven which i can get! 

only negative things aside from that i can really give for this one is that the art was just…hoo boy. i think you know.

im usually pretty lax on art inconsistencies (which are still valid criticisms since this is an entirely animated show by animation professionals! it’s just not my main beef w/the show), but sweet jesus what the actual fuck i am laughing so hard rn

the good lars: OKAY this is gonna be extremely biased bc i love lars (well, loved his potential, anyhow) and we actually got development from him holy shit. this is probably one of my favorite human-centric episodes of seasons 3 and 4 (it still won’t beat s1/s2 eps like lars and the cool kids andhorror club but it’s definitely a step up from, like…rocknaldo, yknow?

and i’ve known from the start that he was nonwhite (it was confirmed by burnett via tweet back when s2 was still airing), it was nice to have some specification on that! although i really do wish the term “filipino” was actually used in reference to him.

the cool kids were just. they were perfect. and i liked all of the characterization in this episode! steven still felt a little bland personality-wise, but the little things such as lars picking up “bingo bongo” from him and buck thinking it was cool was cute!

are you my dad? + i am my mom: I HATED THAT DRAWING JOKE SO MUCH. garnet just going “uh, i like me” was so ooc. she’s…supposed to be intelligent, right? that was honestly one of the worst garnet lines ive ever heard. and yeah, of course pearl has to be the ultra-talented one who modestly shrugs it off. like god. amethyst was the one who spent time with an artist (vidalia), shouldn’t she be the “artistic one?” it would have been an okay joke (in regards to pearl) if she wasn’t shown having 320840810382110930+ interests and talents prior in the series.

the designs for aquamarine and topaz seemed really bad when we first saw them but i steered clear of that discussion until i actually got a chance to see the two animated and in action. and i was…pleasantly surprised (halfway, at least).

aquamarine’s design was actually really cool in action! and the whole bow turning into a wand thing was cool. topaz still seemed kind of bland to me though. im totally fine with her body type and such but she just…doesnt look visually interesting, you know? like at least lapis had her wings going for her before aqua stole them and owned them better than her

the fight choreographed between aqua + topaz and the cgs was pretty weak, though. it felt like they were just kind of standing there attacking one at a time. and it’s not like the crew isn’t capable of doing better, you know? like the alexandrite vs malachite fight was REALLY good, along with the lapis vs the cgs fight. everyone was fighting simultaneously in the fight in ocean gem which made it so much more interesting! now, theyre just attacking one at a time like what is this?? attack the light or smth?? did garnet’s gauntlet punch use up all of their stars?? idk

BUT GOD I LOVED JAMIE SO MUCH. his lines were gold, esp “no garnet i’ve moved on i swear” that was funny. 

aqua seemed pretty overpowered though. like if you give a gem the ability to move other gems around at their will at least give it limitations, or else the “fight” won’t be interesting at all. or have aqua’s weapon get lost temporarily or something.

i actually thought referencing the “list” given by peridot was pretty clever, but having steven blow it up so much…was a bit too much. like if anything, peridot should have been the one upset over it and i seriously hope we get to see her reaction later on.

so let’s talk about bellarke

SPOILER ALERT, it’s gonna be messy, because I’m so lazy, and shitty and I don’t know how to sort my thoughts, and ever since I started thinking about this, my brain went all over the place. (FYI, as you can see, it’s a kinda analysis about BELLARKE, so if you don’t like it, just scroll the fuck over. Also, even if an episode through the season was about SOMETHING ELSE, my point is to analyse Bellamy and Clarke in it. Don’t tell me I’m making the show only about them, because I’m perfectly capable of making a post about how brave and awesome Raven is if I want to at some point. That’s not the point here, tho).

So you know, now that we’re almost at the end of the season, and we’ve had TONS of unecessary plots that were dragged around, and unecessary choices that were the focus of ths show, I have started to think of WHY the writers took SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH time, making plans that DIDN’T work are aren’t even mention anymore. Well, short answer? It’s to develop Bellarke. (of course there also are plot points and other characters and you know, basically a story this whole season, but let’s delve deeper, shall we?) Let’s start with the Ark+list; that will TRULY not be used to help anyone survive. The list has been destroyed literally one episode after its creation, and the Ark was destroyed the episode just after that. NOW, what was the focus of all this storyine? Clarke, making the list. Yes, it’s part of Clarke’s individual journey, but it’s also the beginning of her “I have to save Bellamy Blake journey”: on ep3 we see Clarke sacrifice TWO PEOPLE for Bellamy Blake (places 99 and 100, because for him to be on the list, she had to add herself). Next arc of story, is the “Roan discovers about the plan” arc: who is the focus YET AGAIN? Clarke, that is faced again to the “I have to save Bellamy Blake” moment - she has to save his life, while Roan directly threatens it by having him as a hostage. Here, we have Clarke sacrificing FIFTY people for him. Then we have the episodes where they’re apart, and where it’s ALSO very interesting regarding each other, and we’ll see that later, I still think I need to see the end of the season to talk about Bellamy’s journey as a whole, and Clarke’s journey too. Next, we have the Bunker-plot; and YET AGAIN, we have Clarke choosing to save Bellamy’s life. BUT in the end, Bellamy becomes her enemy when she decides to save him; he doesn’t want to be saved in these conditions, and she still decides to save him - choosing OVER him rather than with him, that’s literally what he says when he says it’s not like the other times. And in the moment where Bellamy is the one confronting Clarke to sacrificing YET AGAIN people or him, she chooses to sacrifice EVERYONE BUT HIM. Literally the entire human race, BUT Bellamy. Because if the Bunker is destroyed by a mob of people angry at the Sky People and all, ultimately, Bellamy will die. Now I do think coming from that, in terms of their relationship, I do believe that between them, it’s settled that Clarke is more action, and Bellamy is more talk. Bellamy inspires people way more when he talks, than when he takes actions (ie, s3 with Pike, where he took action, and he lost his friends’ trust) while Clarke, all this season, while she was trying to TALK with the others (Roan, the Grounders, or even the Sky People) was failing all the time. I do think that the distance in their relationship right now, is because of Bellamy, and not because of Clarke. Clarke did her action on ep3, she put Bellamy’s name on the list, and at the moment they needed to talk, Bellamy walked away. She even made herself vulnerable to him, with the whole hand-nuzzle and he still walked away. I do think it works with what Bob said, about Bellamy steering away from love, I think he LITERALLY DID on ep3 and that’s where the “shift” in their relationship started (cuz lbr, up to this point, I was all “HECK YEAH BELLARKE” during the three first episodes of the season, they were connected). This season is all about Clarke, proving over and over again that she puts Bellamy first, while Bellamy is “failing” to ‘share’ their relationship. They don’t talk, and no matter how many times Clarke saves Bellamy’s life, it is currently my problem with Bellarke, and it’s because of Bellamy. Bellamy who walked away after the list scene, Bellamy who went out of the bunker without talking to Clarke, Bellamy who pushed Clarke away with a “nobody died today” when she asked him if HE was okay. We literally HAVE a scene of really probable “canon” happening (the beach 406) interrupted BY BELLAMY NOT TALKING. Bellamy literally acknowledged that on 410 about Octavia, and I do think he acknowledged it regarding Clarke as well. He spent too much time not saying things, while it’s the Apocalypse; something that he’s been facing for a long time - yet, his “healing process” regarding that, didn’t start before ep7, while Clarke and him were separated. Now, what I think, SPECULATION- and it’s regarding the spoilers, so if jump over that part if you don’t want to know; it’s very probable for them to “switch roles” in order to Bellarke to become canon. I’m talking about Clarke, being locked outside, about to die, taking her last chance to confess her feelings for Bellamy (as she always does with the people she’s about to lose- she did with her dad, with Finn, with Lxa; Clarke ONLY TALKS with people when she’s cornered by the events- her mom about killing her dad, cl, her and finn, even with wells, the very first thing we see clarke do is throw some truth tea at him, that she hates him, because she thinks she’ll die or something because the dropship has a problem), and Bellamy TAKING ACTION to save her. Lbr I don’t think Clarke is dying (ofc), and I don’t think they’ll get separated. I do think on many aspects, Clarke bore a lot of things this season, for Bellamy, even if he didn’t know this; it’s not because he disapproved that she didn’t tell him about her decision to take the Bunker. She didn’t want him to bear the burden with her, as he did in MW, for example. Probably because the last time he did, she wasn’t there for him, and she failed him, and she hurt him. HM, who from the Clarke’s previous relationship, did that too? Yes, Lxa. Once again, we’re coming back to Lxa. Lxa with whom Clarke felt safe and cared for because she didn’t have to take any of the hard choices, Lxa who was “overpowering her” and made her feel safe because she was not “weak” by letting her emotions drive her. Now, we know that Lxa learnt from Clarke that it’s not the answer, but she didn’t get to FIX what she did. This season, we see Bellamy being able to take a nap with Clarke - BECAUSE OF CLARKE 403 - just like we saw Clarke being able to take a nap with Lxa (s2) at some point, because she felt safe with her. That’s why I still think that Bellamy didn’t make the list with her- I do think Clarke waited for Bellamy to fall asleep to make the list, because she saw the episode just before that, that it wasn’t who Bellamy is, to take these kind of decisions (because he saved the slaves, rather than thinking “bigger”). I do think that Bellamy’s words, comparing 411 to MW, and other things they did together is the beginning of solving the problem between them, and releaving Clarke of the burden she took. Bellamy doesn’t want to be protected by someone who makes all the decisions for him, that’s literally what he said to Clarke on 410, that’s not how THEY, together do things. Now regarding Clarke on her own (ep8 mostly) I do think that Clarke doesn’t value her life, just like Bellamy doesn’t value his own (ep7); they BOTH didn’t want to be on the list for themselves, but for the other. Ultimately, I do think that- up till the end of s4, what they’ll have to do is survive for the other. Learning to live for themselves will be something that is more s5 territory. Yes, maybe Bellamy evolved on ep8 as well, and that’s why I think he will be the one having that role that Jasper had for him, to help Clarke herself. But ultimately, I don’t think they can inherently try and reconcile themselves with living without each other (um hello you know, Bellamy “having fun” with/through Clarke’s ‘clone’ wasn’t just luck), they “keep each other centered” too much for that. Now I’m not saying that they are dependant of each other, I do think that who they are right now, is through the other, because of the other, and that their journey “to hope” is too close to their relationship for them to “overcome” what they did, what they lived, if they’re separated or if one of them dies. Clarke literally lowered her gun because the human race surviving without Bellamy isn’t worth it. YOU KNOW?? The end is, WHY would Clarke want to protect Bellamy? Hm, maybe it’s because her past is made of people she loves dying, because she FAILED to protect them? She felt guilty about her father, because she thought that telling Wells was the thing that got her father killed. She felt guilty about Finn’s death because “he did it for me”/”then he dies for you”, and you know, the LITERAL FACT that she stabbed him, or the whole 208 episode, where Finn surrenders to the Grounders, so that Clarke could be saved while she’s hurt? She failed to save Lxa from her wound, while she’s a doctor, and Lxa died of a bullet that was meant FOR HER. Now, I’m not saying that BC will be canon by the end of the season, that everything will be compensated by the end of the season. I do think that everything makes sense, even the “missing parts” of Bellarke that frustrate us now (or just me? idk). I still think there is a very very decent chance for BC to become canon this season, ESPECIALLY if the scripts are real, and it still happens on screen; Clarke WILL NOT “die” without confessing her feelings, that’s not who she is- even tho lbr, she won’t die, but she still can THINK she’ll die yk. I do think that Bellamy/Bellarke CAN be the way for Clarke to be relieved of her burden by: 1) Bellamy surviving Clarke’s “confession” - so yeah, that not being the end, not being the ‘final chance’ she has 2) Bellamy saving Clarke while Clarke spent the ENTIRE season trying to protect HIM. Taking the burden of surviving out of her, is literally what he did during the list scene; it’s obvious why, and I think they can reconcile with that. I do think the writers are totally aware of the THIRST they are creating among the viewers/the BC fandom regarding them both. Idk if we’ll have everything perfect, if we’ll have truly canon by the end of the season, or if my predictions are right lol, but it’s narratively clear that at the end of ep10, the journey of their relationship IS NOT over, that Bellamy has adressed his issues with Clarke’s actions, and that it DOES have an impact between them. I do think that ep10 was still the breaking point- their turning point, and that the last two episodes will be about resolving all that. That’s why I don’t think Clarke will expect Bellamy to come with her next episode (because he has a bed “given” by Octavia on ep11), I do think that Bellamy taking charge with her, just 24 hours before the whole Apocalypse thing, will be the start of adressing their issues left opened by ep11 (soooo... I do think they didn’t do it on ep11 because of the lack of time, I do think that eps12-13 will be more about the Adventure Squad, and THEIR survival, and will allow Bellarke to have more time to be properly adressed). Turns out, I’m unable to sort my thoughts properly, so it’s just me rambling, buuuuuut-... the predictions about act6 are in my head for a very long time, I just didn’t want to write them up until now, to avoid jinxing it all.
