    these are just going to be some major point that would be significant when it comes to knowing his past & present:

    growing up, sinjin was always that kid who had his eyes glued to some kind of book. he refused to put one down until he’s finished the entire thing in one go. it was just in his nature to feel the need to know everything he could possess. it made him feel secure & sure of himself.

    since he preferred to study over playing around during his free time, the kids definitely found him weird. they would make him feel more of an alien than anything else & sometimes even physically pushing him around. they would stare & make it obvious that he would never be their friend. so basically, he never really had anyone to grow up next to him until the age of eleven.

    at that age, him & his parents made the decision to start over. they tried to pull sinjin away from his studies & encourage him to go out a make some friends. as anyone could tell by the look in their eyes, they were absolutely worried for their son’s future when it came to social skills, but that was the last thing he could care about. it never occurred to him as a necessity to have friends.

    after reaching his later teen years, he’s become more open to getting to know people; especially because he’s moved to korea to learn more about his parents’ culture instead of the american one. he became more so independent rather than reclusive at first, being cautious & afraid of judgement. but it didn’t take him long to adapt to the new atmosphere, now being content where he’s at & enjoying life. he wants to flush out any bad vibes or experiences he’s been through in the past & will throw his positivity no matter where he goes under whatever circumstances.

    personality-wise he is usually quite outgoing but tries to avoid eye-contact with anyone who he sees is above him on a food chain, hella patient, open-minded, gets way too emotional & can cry when he feels the slightest amount of sadness, hates being yelled at; will also cry bc of that, doesn’t want to let anyone down, hesitant, indecisive, a total nerd when it comes to computers & science & math, also hella clumsy with his those lanky long legs, a whole fluffball in general, okay ?? pls love him

she was born and raised in jinsari, south korea. she didn’t have much of anything growing up because her parents struggled to make ends meet, but they did their best to make up for that by giving her a lot of love and support.

she didn’t grow up with any siblings, she was an only child

she’s always been a little bit on the quieter side of things, but she’s not afraid to speak up for what she believes in and she’s got a good head on her shoulders 

ever since she was a little girl, she was at the top of her class. a shining example of what the perfect student should be 

she was always seen as a pretty face with nothing else to offer. even though she was smart, people always referred to her looks as her strongest attribute and not her brain, and that really pissed her off. she began to work even harder to prove to those people that her brain was just as big of an asset to her as her supposed good looks

she’s always had a knack for technology and even though her parents didn’t have any money to buy her all of the things she wanted, through different clubs and organizations at her school, she was able to discover her love for it 

she had to balance part time jobs with school from the time she was thirteen up until she entered college because her parents struggled to make ends meet. over the years she went from working at a hair salon, two fast food restaurants and a daycare. 

she had gotten into three colleges on full ride scholarships

she was a sophomore in college when she got the call telling her that her parents had passed away in a house fire back home, and she broke down. they were the only family that she had, her best friends, and they were gone. she took a two year break from college and then she came back 

after her parents passed away she became even more closed off and reserved than she already was, and it’s a struggle for her to let people in because she’s afraid that she’ll end up losing them like she lost her parents

like i said before, she’s really quiet and reserved, but that doesn’t mean that she’ll let someone walk all over her. a lot of people mistake her quietness for weakness, and they usually ends up shocked when they try to pull one over on her and she bites their head off 

she’s a very helpful person, like if she sees someone struggling she won’t hesitate to offer to help them out. she works as a tutor at the university and she loves it. it makes her feel good to know that she’s helping other people succeed 

she hasn’t been in that many serious relationships, her most serious being the one she was in right before her parents passed away and she ended that because she couldn’t see herself being in a relationship at that time because she was too heartbroken by the death of her parents and she needed time to grieve

buT she became involved in music through her father, who studied it in uni and ended up becoming a music instructor with a focus on piano, flute and vocals

her and her mom.. also her older brother, didn’t have the best relationship when she grew older, which seemed to die altogether when her parents divorced and her mom left. but her and her brother’s still exists, albeit barely. he’s a bit of a toxic influence on her, or at least that’s how she perceives it, and she tends to distance herself from him

would visit jeju island when she was younger bc her aunt lived there

she adores said aunt, her dad’s sister and the maternal figure she Deserves, so overall jeju holds a special place in her heart

went to uni in seoul to pursue music like her father ( a daddy’s girl too like ) but transferred to busan u after some.. shit and her own feelings ? anyways she was content when she settled here and soon found her way into the world of production !! by junior year, she’d transferred out of her original program and majored in that instead and has loved it ever since

for the time being, she works full-time as a barista at a café off-campus

she’s also making something of an income as the creator of an acct on youtube and soundcloud for her music, something she’s had for abt a year now

she’s not even close to making it big yet ofc, and she doesn’t mind if she never works for a moderately to highly popular label — though she should if she wants to get by

among the aesthetic, lo-fi music crowd ( one of those yt accts with a livestream for certain playlists that go on for hours, rip ) where for the most part, it’s personal faves mixed with her own works, and has a substantial following as of now. but has an interest in experimenting, with mashups ( as a lover of them ?? i couldn’t help myself sgflkdsjg ) for example, with a small fear of how that change would be received

in terms of her personality and other things:

she’s a very loyal person, v e r y. while like i said ( and will elaborate on in her bio ), her relationship with her brother is Not Great, she hasn’t completely given up on him. maybe for the time being — by that i mean another two years or so ?? LJSKSDFGJ my baby’s still hurt by his bullshit so — but her being someone who’s open to the idea of people changing for the better somewhere down the line, leaves a bit of room for her to possibly change her mind if he does enough to allow her to consider it

so she can be a bit of a doormat in some cases, it all depends on how she sees the person that determines if that’s the case, but she generally won’t let you off if you’re being dumb/an ass to someone or if she gets advantageous vibes from you for example ( given she can.. be a little naive and is a p gentle soul ) so.. idk fgklsj good luck to the 99% ig ??

don’t confuse that with her being v forgiving, weak, etc, etc. she’s a soft bitch, p vulnerable too ngl but.. she’s not that Dumb sdljfkg

speaking of vulnerable, she does have a slight dependency on others despite her thinking all signs point to the opposite, and even though her and her mom never rly had a good relationship she still reels from the neglect/abandonment some days so handle her with Care if she deems you a close pal

spontaneous tbh, transferring to busan was a little last minute on her part, for one

she’s a bit reclusive when focused on something, if she tells you she’s working on a track, it’s essentially a head’s up that you might not see her for a couple of days depending on how soon she gets it done — lowkey that bitch™ who makes up an illness to her boss, so she wouldn’t even show up for work if it’s more than just her fucking around

bc admittedly, a lot of what she posts is fucking around and liking it, her more thought-out and effort packed projects are hidden away on her laptop

a bit insecure with her work and just her general disposition ?? those first few points above mess with her a lot and leave her disheartened so.. my poor child

v strong overall, takes people’s shit and if it gets to her, she gets over it p fast. doesn’t dwell on much and will be courteous to you even if she’s declared you too toxic to stick around 24/7

isn’t exactly one to get angry ?? she’s basically just disappointed or annoyed at best 99% of the time, it takes a lot to get her beyond that

juno was born into a wealthy household his grandfather owns a huge company in seoul and his father is a wealthy politician his mother a model 

all he’s ever known is money but he’s grew to resent it also.

his younger brother was killed in a car accident and juno found out a month after it happened

his parents where trying to cover it up since his younger brother was drunk that night so they couldn’t tell juno

juno didn’t know how to handle it at first so he was angry at his parents and everyone else

eventually, he would just drink and do reckless stuff to try to numb himself from the pain

his parents sent him to busan to live with his aunt and to avoid another scandal, he decided to go to college while he was there.

they’re genderfluid and go by they/them pronouns or he/him pronouns, depending on what their preference is that day and if they’re feeling more masculine or not so masculine. 

they won’t be offended if you refer to them as ‘he’ though, because they’re masculine passing 

they were born in lyon, france on a military base to two korean-american soldiers. they’re the youngest of four children (their siblings being born when both of their parents were on leave). they weren’t a planned pregnancy like the other three were. 

they were their parents little surprise, but they loved them nonetheless and didn’t treat them any differently than they did their other kids. sehong was a very happy baby, and their mother took to calling them sunshine all the time because whenever they smiled, she claimed that it was as bright as the sun

when they were really little, they would always find themselves following around their older sisters and clinging to them a lot more than their male cousins. their sisters didn’t mind though, and would let them play with them and would dress them up in dresses and makeup, something that their father hated, but their mother thought was adorable

their father brought that to an end when they were eight years old, telling them that they needed to start acting like a boy and little boys didn’t go around wearing dresses and makeup

that was when sehong’s relationship with their father started to sour, and ever since then they’ve been butting heads about sehong’s choices in life. when they came out as genderfluid, their father didn’t accept them, and refuses to call them by their preferred pronouns. their other family members are a lot more accepting

they have a really deep love of art. painting and drawing and sculpting, the whole nine yards. they wanted to become a professional artist, but they knew that wasn’t a sound career that they could depend on, so when they graduated college, they decided to study criminal justice and political science instead

they carry around multiple sketchbooks with them, and if you go to their room, you’ll find it covered with different paints and sketches and sculptures. there’s dozens of sketchbooks filled with fully drawn or half drawn ideas. on both their masculine and more androgynous days, you’ll mostly find them wearing paint covered, baggy sweatshirts or overalls, jeans with holes in them, beat up converses or sneakers, maybe a beanie, and their wire rimmed glasses because they have the shittiest eyesight and they can’t be arsed to wear their contacts. the only difference is that on their more androgynous days, they’ll wear necklaces or headbands or bows and nail polish and a little makeup.

their hands are pretty much always smudged with pencil led and/or charcoal and sometimes they have a few smudges on their face because they forget to wash their hands after working on art and they rub their forehead and nose.

they’re a hardcore virgin™. they’ve never even kissed anyone. mostly because they moved around so much as a kid, and because they’ve been so focused on school. and their parents are hardcore catholics, so they beat into their head from a young age that sex is only supposed to be within the confines of marriage or you’ll pretty much spend eternity in hell, which left them shook. 

they also suffer from anxiety that gets really bad, as well as bulimia nervosa. they don’t think that they’re overweight and they don’t have any issues with their body, but whenever things get to be too much and they feel out of control, they binge eat and then they purge afterwards. it’s not something that they really talk about because they don’t think they have a problem

a really sweet person, like you could punch them and they’d be like “well, we all have bad days! i hope you feel better soon :)” 

is really sensitive, like please don’t yell at them, they don’t like that and they’ll probably end up crying
