genuine question, how are they going to handle the battle of the gullet? stormcloud in this episode is SO cute but there's no way he can carry aegon to safety as in the books (sad, bc that moment is one of the most profound showcases of a dragon-rider bond in the entire asoiaf universe). what do y'all think?

Wonderful news. The talented Abigail Thorn will be appearing in House of The Dragon season 2 as Admiral Sharako Lohar.

In the book Fire and Blood, Admiral Lohar commanded a Triarchy fleet of 90 Myrish, Lysene and Tyroshi warships at the Battle of Gullet.

crying bc ryan condal really just called s1 of house of the dragon "slowed down" and said they're speeding things up for s2 when most of the audience agrees they already went too fast for their first season. like at this point, when the new season premieres, they're not even gonna show jace and cregan bonding, they'll just skip ahead to the gullet in episode 2 or smth💀💀

Who wants to bet that if the hotd producers do the same thing to Jace that they did with Laenor by having him survive the Gullet, it would be by him leaving for Essos with Sara as a way to finally be with her free of responsibility? If this happens, I'm gonna fucking scream.
