Bats are not evil after all
We're wrong about bats🦇. They're not bloodthirsty monsters🧌 who won't convert you into vampires 🧛 They're productive for the ecosystem as power pollinators.

I truly think Jason, while underage goes to the oblivion bar to get shitfaced when he knows Bruce is tracking him. I wish magic boy was shown to be more magic.
ignore the background idk what I'm going. I do know that Bobo is going to fucking destroy everyone at that table.
#jason todd#bobo T. chimpanzee#john constantine#Fucking Santa???#after santa fucking dies does yj show up to their meetings and is like what the fuck are YOU🫵 doing here#i think it would be funny as the bat with inate magic in gotham he has to round up endangered magical species and get them back to their#natural habitat without damian finding out griffins / dragons exist and are easily found#unfortuanetly many magic animals fucking hate him bc lazarus pit (death/poison vibes) or all blades (distinctly antimagic)#like animal control except all the animals are huge and want him dead

Bats play an essential role in pest control, pollinating plants and dispersing seeds. Recent studies estimate that bats eat enough pests to save more than $1 billion per year in crop damage and pesticide costs in the United States corn industry alone.
I’m heading to the desert ranch this weekend to plant palm trees for the western yellow bat…and shade !! 🥵

Would nnoitra enjoy asmr videos? Any sounds he would like or hate?
❝ I dunno what those are. ❞ He'd been asked about them before, so MAYBE it was time he checked them out? Clearly, "asmr videos" was something people thought he would enjoy. Nnoitra mostly liked for things to be quiet. What kind of sounds did he actually like? Well, what kind of sounds he hated was easy. He hated high-pitched sounds and noises. Something about them was just incredibly annoying and off-putting to him. They gave him an unpleasant feeling all the way to his bones. That was probably how people felt about nails against chalkboards or whatever, huh? Sounds he enjoyed though... Let's see... The rustling of leaves was nice. The sound long grass made when it was windy. The crack-crack sound of small twigs when you walked through the woods. He also liked crunchy sounds. Like when you crushed a dried leaf with your hand. Seemed most of the sounds he enjoyed were tied to nature. No surprise there.
#[ I GOTTA FIND SOME HE'D LIKE ]#[ i'm not familiar with asmr videos so gotta do research :O ]#[ also - these sound hcs are based on mantids ]#[ they are triggered by high pitch noises bc to them it means bats which means predator so ?? YEAH ]#[ they are v sensitive to high pitched noises ]#[ ( some scientists think they can actually ONLY hear high pitch noises ) ]#[ as for sounds nnoitra enjoys just.. sounds you'd find in the natural habitat of mantids uvu ]#[ i love basing my human!au hcs on his motif ]#[ thank you for sending anon!! ]#despair for me. ╱ in character.#talking shit. ╱ answers.#burn the city. ╱ main verse.

the cringe nihilistic "personal impact means nothing so why even try" vs the chad "or i could be one of the only people in my apartment complex that grows native plants and lets native animals live in them in what is otherwise a desolate hellscape of grass"
#sometimes personal impact does actually matter#sometimes YOU'RE the only one who gives a shit#but it starts with you. and then other people catch on.#by seeing you have a good time w plants and native wildlife other ppl wanna start doing it too#the experience is too rewarding not to want to. its also really meditative taking care of a garden.#so far ive seen bats hummingbirds i had a wasp nest up here and they never stung me we like just *got* eachother yknow#i literally had to reach over them to water plants and they still never stung me. ive had mason bees. ive obviously had honey bees and#bumble bees. i even saw a fuckin tree frog. its so fun. theres always birds on my balcony. theres a bird on my blacony rn w eggs#im making my own lil micro habitat over here sdjfsjvhgd

oh yeah so for like the last week or two we’d been hearing some noises outside and we’ve been like. the fuck is that. always at night and crap and it’s a new animal noise we’ve not heard before. to tell you how boring our suburb is, I’d never heard a frog croak at night until this year LMFAO so! we’ve been getting many kookaburras this month (I assume bc of the heat…?) and now this so we’re like. huh.
anyways we’ve got bats
#LMFAO#all this and yeah. it’s bats. no I’ve never heard bats make noise before#like earlier this year there was an instance of us hearing smth#fly right past us like WIOSH WOOSH WOOSH and we were like wtf#I guessed bat bc owls are silent fliers so it couldn’t be them#well wouldn’t you know it! October to December is mating season lol#apparently there’s a lot of Australian native bats but in suburbs we would never see em. until this year obviously#we have a lot of thick tall dense trees so perfect for roosting and crap#+ due to climate change so loss of habitat and food resources + them mostly being up north#which is where most of the 2019-2020 bushfires were#a lot seemed to have moved further down south. lo and behold#and when I say lots of trees around us#I mean quite literally there’s bats in almost all the trees around us. apparently#also saw the (flying fox) bat thing on one of our freeways into the city that we apparently have#the hundreds of bats in those trees man… holy shit#anyways yeah. that’s what’s happening with me#ooc

Even if it were bats, please leave the bats alone, don't "clear them out"
That's just mean
Fun fact: Arizona is the only place in the country where the state mine inspector is an elected position
Another fun fact: this is one of my favorite political ads of all time, straight out of 2014
