The Justice League, on their way back from a deep space mission that was incredibly successful, received a distress signal from a galaxy they’re passing through.

As they investigate, they learn that a colony of a planet has been wiped out. Completely.

Slowly they piece together that there is some being out there that had been terrorizing planets, starting with colonies and then eventually going after larger settlements and home planets.

The League also learns they are not the first people to learn of this foe, or try to come up with a solution to stop them.

The colony they are inspecting has researchers on it that had fled or escaped from other planets where they piled together all they knew about their enemy, and in an attempt to sift through the mountains of data they had collected, created a device.

If a person was connected to the device, they would mentally experience the number of years required to process the data and come up with an attack plan in seconds. What the researchers had needed was time, so they created it.

As the League pieces this together, Superman sees that there is a being approaching the remnants of the colony and the defense system alerts the “remaining colonists” of the imminent threat. Their failsafe boots up and takes the nearest person, in this case, Batman, who had been studying some of its programming, and activates.

The rest of the team didn’t have a chance to react before Batman blinks and is in motion, setting up machines and dictating code without lifting a finger.

There is no fight, because after the two seconds Bruce was in the machine he was a flurry of motion and the enemy was contained.

They ask him how long had passed for him in the machine. It takes him a full minute to respond.

“150 years.”

Look Arcane's Ending was great BUT

If Riot Games really goes with it being part of the main League of Legends Canon it'll completely undermine all of the tragedy and heartfelts moments that happen in the finale. Everyone who died and is a champion will probably some how live. League's doesn't like permentally killing Champions in stories, espically the one's that we didn't see their body before they died. Then you ask "What about the one's who did die on scene?!" Trust me, those characters have ways not actually being dead.

No offense, but the people asking for a Les Mis 2012 Extended Director’s cut with bonus extra scenes that somehow magically makes the movie better and retroactively fixes its problems, remind me of those people who were asking for the Secret Good Fourth Sherlock Episode…..

As a fan of the weird wonky mess that is Les Mis 2012, I feel like you kinda just gotta take it for what it is. XD

And I also don’t think you can expect a “remastered” version to fix anything, because almost all “remasters” are basically just minor visual tweaks that give film companies an excuse to charge you for the same product again.

I decided to go back to my old notes app and see if i can't do anything there. I'm still infuriated by how i can't get music to work for long when i'm writing notes, so i am trying get around that. But i think i have my three or four main teams now: The Justice League Canada, a team of reformed supervillians supervised by Martian Manhunter, and the Squadron of Justice (a team of old fawcett comics stars).

These three teams are all kind of connected (Martian Manhunter and Captain Marvel/Shazam are founding members of the Justice League Canada, but leave to join the other two teams), so i can say i've made a bit of a reinterpretation of the DC universe. In honour of me trying to go back to these old ideas, I know what i need to do: i need to repost my old notes on this stuff, and i need to share my new ideas (if/when i write about them, of course).

the school district i went to high school in is currently in hella drama bc they’re trying to detrack math up until 7th grade and all of the AP students, alumni that went to ivy leagues and white parents are shitting their pants bc they “don’t want school to be dumbed down” aka they don’t want themselves/their kids to stop feeling special and have to be in classes with dumb brown kids* i’m sure . anyways so many of them are like “i believe in equity but—“ so you don’t . also they’re like if you do this people are gonna send their kids to private school!! like ok good riddance

I love the thought of seasonal pokemon popping out, you know? Winter hits, the yard is covered in fresh snowfall, and little packs of Glaceon, Snover, etc just kind of wander freely through the world. If you're lucky you might be able to catch one but you never know when one will pop up.
