I walked into Barnes & Noble to see that Prince Hamlet was the cashier and he was trying to sell his autobiography in play form, Hamlet. He didn’t know who Shakespeare is.

I'm navigating through the Barnes & Noble website and the site is absolute garbage. The webpages have no dynamic elements to them so the page has to reload EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. you add or remove something from your cart. And each instance counts as a new page so it will clog your page history.

The wishlist feature is also garbage. If you try wishlisting multiple items in rapid succession, most of them won't get saved. So that means the API is designed to only handle one call at a time and the actual site can't do anything while it waits for a return.

I genuinely want to avoid using Amazon because of how utterly scummy it is, but this absolutely pathetic online experience made me genuinely consider ordering the books I want through Amazon instead and the only reason I won't is because I have B&N gift cards.

The first facts-i-just-made-up book can now be purchased through Barnes and Noble here. It's still available directly from Lulu.com, where I get about $7 per copy, but but Barnes and Noble can order it to any of their stores if that's helpful or more convenient.

Here is my NEWS for AMERICA! Barnes & Noble chose LONG LIVE EVIL as their SFF Book of the Month. I am so excited. I send a thousand thanks to those within who advocated for the book and believe in the tale of someone in trouble walking into her favourite fantasy.

At last! 2 days late from the original arrival day but here nonetheless!

The signed Barnes and Noble edition of The Book of Bill!!

And it had Alex's full signature on it, which was a nice plus!

The holy trinity is now complete! And now I have both books

Overall, I liked the B&N exclusive of BoB. It's got some funny extra pages and content in it that is fun to have but also not something I feel if you own the standard red one, you'd feel too bad about missing out on.

It's a solid bit of new content for an already amazing book.

My Gravity Falls shelf has once again gained a new book and grown that bit more. Who knows when the next one will come but when it does, I'll be beyond ready to read it and welcome it to my GF book family!
