I've spent so much of myself trying to fit into roles I was never really invited to play, desperately trying to be a friend to those who never saw me as one, forcing myself to be a lover where I was never truly embraced. I would bend, twist, and mold myself into shapes I thought would make me visible, doing things I knew didn’t come naturally to me, just to feel like I mattered to them. But no matter how hard I pushed, no matter how much I gave, I was always on the outside, a shadow lingering at the edges of their lives. I’ve never felt like I belonged. Instead, I’ve felt guilty-guilty for wanting to be known, guilty for trying to carve out a space for myself in their world, knowing deep down that I was never meant to have one. Maybe that’s my curse to always be the secret, the afterthought, someone who exists but never truly fits, always wanting to be seen but never truly allowed to be. And it’s lonely, suffocating, this constant feeling of being too much yet never enough. I wish I could just be myself no masks, no pretenses and still be wanted, still be needed. To be enough just as I am, without having to shrink or stretch into someone else's version of who I should be. I crave that feeling of being truly seen, where I don’t have to fight for a place in someone's heart, where just being me is all it takes to be loved. But it feels like such a distant dream, a hope that fades every time I try and fail to find that kind of acceptance.

So late last night, I was relearning how to make a website from scrap. The last time I learned this was back in the 10th grade for a technical class I needed to graduate.
Seeing some of the reblogs yesterday, saying that some are going back to making and maintaining their own websites in case this hellsite and the other social media sites collapse or made it too dangerous for various groups to use, is what inspire me to make mine.
And also that early this year I played a Stream game called “Hypnospace Outlaw”, where it takes place on an Internet forum in the late 90s’, which made be a bit nostalgic (even thought I was like, 4 years old during the setting of the game). And oh, I recommend playing the game, it’s actually good and it’s at cost $20 (but it goes on sale for $5.99, which it’s 70% off the game)!
It’s in rough draft right now and I keep messing the layouts and where would each link would go and so for. So, it’s going to messy for awhile.
Once I’m done with it, I might open a NeoCities account and put my website there. Despite that, I won’t be leaving Tumblr for a long time until they to do something stupid or Congress KOSA passing that will cause me and the others to leave.

Your dirtbag, your small cash, your pocket change, your eyelash
The kitty looking out behind your door
I wanna be anything you've lost that you might be lookin' for
Light a fire, live without it, have a dark thought and tell me all about it
Your back up plan, your best man, your torrid affair, your long hair
Go away, don't get too far, it's not the first time
I don't get out of bed for a guitar
The dream you planted in your forest
Your winter coat in summer storage
Your favorite game, your secret shame, your eyesore
I wanna be anything you've lost that you might be lookin' for

I can't believe I actually convinced myself to remake a Tumblr after I left so long ago.
Guess I'll have to set everything back up.

Fill the Gaps: Backup Your Backups
To rely on a single source of anything is a prescription for disaster. It's a single point of failure. To take it a step further; to rely on only one backup for your primary source is still a prescription for disaster.
Redundancy Is Key!
Here's a personal, real-life example for heating my house: I use electric as my primary source of heat. If my grid-electric goes out, I have a hybrid (gasoline/propane) generator that can run my electric heat. If my generator runs out of gas, I can switch it over to use propane. If the generator propane runs out, I have a propane heater in my house with a separate [large] propane tank. If my house propane runs out, I have a kerosene heater and, lastly, I have a wood stove and plenty of chopped-up wood to heat my home. If the chopped wood runs out, I live on a wooded lot and can start taking down trees (after using the ones that have already fallen). It's doubtful that I would need to resort to emergency cutting down of trees but I hope I've made my point. I have six backups for heating my house if the grid-electric goes out. I have summer cooling options like [battery and electric] fans and a portable air conditioner if my central air conditioner goes down. I'm constantly working to improve my solar and wind generator solution as an alternate power source to grid electricity. The same goes for my income (2 sources of retirement, a part-time job and a hobby with the potential to make money) and investments (cash, bank accounts, precious metals, real estate). I frequently backup my computer on 2 devices and keep them in 2 separate places, taking one with me, with my 2nd laptop computer, if I need to go somewhere. Food is another example by always having canned and dehydrated options/backups, a garden and livestock. How about bottled water and water filtering? Never should it be assumed that things will always be as they are and backups won't fail. Jobs are lost, vehicles break down, electric goes out, weather can stop us from getting to the store. It's the prudent thing to do to think of what I need to live and implement/purchase methods that will back that up and then come up with a 3rd [or 4th or 5th] backup option. As a Prepper, I not only prepare for emergencies from external sources but also for when my own preps fail or are depleted. Redundancy is one of the high marks of being a prepared person.
