Sometimes it'll hit me that like. Louis was Harry's compass because he needed something, someone to guide him home, to be home, as he was feeling aimless and homesick; but Harry was Louis' anchor, because he felt like he was drifting and weightless and that sounds like a good thing until it's not, until you start to grow up and you need to be able to be present and firmly in the moment and you need something, someone to keep you right where you need to be, to know you inside out and remind you of who you are. Harry needed someone to guide him home and Louis needed someone to anchor him to reality and they put that shit permanently on their skin and then they went and wrote entire songs about it for YEARS and I feel this is a lil bit insane actually

He passed away this morning around 1 am in my hands.

It's funny how babies and small kids are expected to take naps and still have so much energy while us adults need so much caffeine to just keep our eyes open. I see the contrast all the more with my son and us.
