Not sure if lost media has a following here on Tumblr but I don't really know where else to post this information haha. But I have hours upon hours of BabyFirst TV content on VHS, majority of it I'm pretty confident is lost media right now. I've been meaning to get around to digitalizing it but I'm still currently working on editing together adverts from other digitalization efforts, so idk when I'll get around to it or what I'd even post about it?

Not sure what I'm technically allowed to post on YouTube regarding TV segments like those, although I'm sure I can post the bumpers just fine. Not sure if I'm worrying too much about it since the content is so old now haha.

If anyone happens to see this post and has any recommendations on how to preserve this stuff I'd love to know! as I haven't really had to preserve anything yet so I'm not sure the best ways to go about it :)

I watched it when i was 7, on and off until 2019 when my parents stopped getting cable :(

I considered having em get it again mainly to watch it again lol

Regressors, i found the most baby thing on cable right now. It’s called babyfirst. It’s a channel for babies 0-3. It shows a bunch of small segments (someone drawing ((simple things))with sand over a light box, water of different colors mixing together, live animals, drawings ((assumingly done by kids)) floating on screen, and so much more) and plays gentle music. There’s no dialogue, only music that reminds me a lot of animal crossing! 

The picture is me watching it hehe. It’s really fun and makes me sleepy. I have insomnia and it’s hard for me to sleep so it’s nice to have something calming like this. There’s also a YouTube channel as well under the same name!

🕷🩷 Regressor! Angel Dust Headcannons 🩷🕷

Angel's regressed age ranges from 0-6 and 11-14

He is a scene kiddo. He absolutely loves dressing up in scene clothes and making kandi bracelets for everyone in the hotel

He is also a Blue's Clues kiddo, no matter where his headspace age ranges. Whether it's the original series, Blue's Room spinoff, or the Blue's Clues & You! reboot, he will watch it nonstop

His favorite characters are Tickety Tock, Blue, Magenta, Fred (Blue's Room), Polka Dots, Rainbow Puppy, and Twinkle (Rainbow Puppy's piglet friend). He also loves Periwinkle because he reminds him of Husk and how they are both magicians

Husk made a plush version of Twinkle and Angel absolutely loved it!

He also loves Invader Zim, Making Fiends, Bear in the Big Blue House, Angelina Ballerina, Octonauts, Rubbadubbers, PB&J Otter, Puffin Rock, Bubble Guppies, Slumberkins, Bluey (idea by @nottapossum), Maisy, and Sesame Street because the shows give him a second home to look forward to (along with Fat Nuggets and his CG, Husk) 🥹

He also likes Baby Einstein and the BabyFirst Channel when he is in his younger headspace (0-2)

His favorite Bluey characters are Bingo, Bandit, Muffin, Mackenzie, Jack, Coco, Judo, and Rusty (Bingo and Mackenzie idea by @nottapossum)

He hates thunderstorms and will hide anywhere to avoid them at all cost (idea by sunflowersandyellowroses on Ao3)

He love-love-loves the Magic Pony Carousel books

Husk always tells Angel these quotes from Bluey: "Remember, I'm always here if you need me," "You're doing great," "I promise I'll always love you," and "Remember, I'll always be here for you, even if you can't see me, because I love you." 🥹🥺

Hello tumby I saw this on the babyfirst website 10 yrs ago. I still want this. I need this. I want it soooooo bad. I need it soooo bad. Not even words can describe how much I want this fella.

If anyone has one of these in decent condition lemme know. I am wanting one of the OGs from 2013, not a repro. Im being too specific here lollll

There is a plushie of Blossom. Sadly it’s ultra rare - it was only sold on the BabyFirst website in 2013, and I only found mine by using the eBay app’s image search. This entire blog’s gimmick is that there’s higher quality images of the plush by the blog owner and other images of the plush that would not be found typically (go on Google images and you will only find a crusty jpeg and the channel’s logo as far as i know. Yes that low res image is posted here as well.)

At this point i should run a poll sometime.
