Wait a minute op... now this truly reminds me of ashk 27.... ( sorry i usually just ramble in the tags but this turns out to be a bit long, everyone please read op's thoughts first!!)

Just before I saw someone mentioned how Kou in this chapter looks kinda similar to Kou in ashk 27 (the hyakumonogatari one). To be honest, I never realized that Kou in this chapter was suspicious until I saw people keep suspecting him to be a fake. And at first, I kinda brushed it off but when I saw another person mentioned that his raiteijou wasn't there ONLY THEN that my alarms went blaring (I was that unattentive).

And let's say if it's true that this Kou is a fake and the real one is trapped in the house, and like op said maybe there will be a fake Nene that will trick the trio... doesn't that kinda make ashk 27 a foreshadow to canon !! Maybe even a clue? Like Nene in ashk 27 did ask Kou where his raiteijou was. And then remember Nene's doppelganger? Yeah.

We don't know how true this is but it'd be really cool if it happens to be! AidaIro love foreshadowing afterall.

Conclusion: Kou without his raiteijou might be bad news.

The recent chapter was... good!! Great, even!! We got a lot of answers and the new developments felt straightforward enough to follow. Still not fully comfortable with my interpretation yet, but honestly I'm just happy to be along for the ride.

Anyway, I wanted to write my thoughts down just to make sure I have everything straight going forward. There's a lot going on and some of my older theories have been debunked!

First, I'd like to point out what I think is pretty obvious and say that Kou must be possessed right now. The specifics are unclear but in my head this is still Kou, he's just being manipulated by the Red House or something. One thing I find interesting though is that he's overall really innocent... he doesn't do anything to put Nene in danger that she doesn't do herself. Nene is the one who decides to risk it all and talk to Amane, after all. The only thing I can say Kou did bad is separate her from the group and take her to Amane. Whatever is controlling Kou might be aware that Nene would drop her defenses around Amane and use that to their advantage.

Mitsuba's part in all of this is still a mystery, but I have to wonder if he will try to trick the Akane/Aoi/Teru trio whenever we jump back to them. I'm suspecting that they won't convene with Nene right away, though I have no idea how Nene will fare in the next chapter... (could she join Mitsuba and Kou and become the Red House's puppet!? I could easily see her tricking Aoi!)

Anyway, moving onto Yugi-sensei, I loved the glimpse into his headspace we got in this chapter. It seems like he's under the delusion everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) is happier in this timeline, which is quite interesting. It almost makes me wonder if the Clock Keepers made him like this to ensure the timeline stayed this way. They told Baby Amane that the future changed, after all, which is... honestly quite disturbing. While I think it was foolish for the Clock Keepers' goal to be to get rid of Tsukasa in the first place, I don't think they'd make such a big mistake by telling Amane the future changed and traumatizing him. The possibility that the Clock Keepers made Amane this way for the good of the world would be a thrilling twist, I think!

I also think this could explain his other curious behavior. Many have wondered why Amane spreads rumors about Tsukasa-kun and why he smirks when school kids summon Tsukasa-kun, and it seems the reason is because he thinks Tsukasa is happy this way. The fact that this Tsukasa is the age Tsukasa disappeared, too, probably helps with this because Amane might still be under the assumption that the Tsukasa who came back after their 4th birthday was a fake. Now obviously, this Amane doesn't have all his memories yet, but it's extremely likely they're just buried inside of him and--unbeknownst to him--influencing his current actions. Either way, I think it's clear that Amane is under the delusion that Tsukasa is happy torturing kids at school. (...and who's to say whether he is or isn't!!!)

All of the souls trapped in the Red House might be in a similar situation, where Amane is under the delusion he's making them happy. I wonder if his parents are part of them...? I'm just thinking that Kou's cheerfulness this chapter is really relevant. He's so happy to just be with Nene and seems to have zero worries at all. It's honestly kinda creepy, when you consider how he was in the previous chapter!

Now hear me out. I'm not usually one to wish harm on Nene, but it would be interesting if Nene got captured and got to meet Amane's parents, assuming they got trapped in the Red House too. I proposed the theory that Kou has just been brainwashed but it could very well be a fake Kou, and if she got to team up with Kou and Mitsuba I think that'd make for an amusing trio. Especially since we have another trio in the house right now with Akane, Teru and Aoi. We could have Nene trapped and trying to escape while a fake evil Nene tries to trick them... that could be so fun!!! (Writing fanfiction at this point lol)

If we go along with the theory that Kou is fake, perhaps the souls trapped in the Red House also have fake body doubles? You'll notice that they are very obviously not happy, considering the way they urged Mitsuba to run away and escape. But I really cannot think for another explanation for Kou's behavior in this chapter. Amane's ominous line about everyone being happy plus Kou being so cheerful just feel so connected! Perhaps the happiness once instilled in the poor souls trapped in the Red House eventually wore off, proving how fake their happiness was in the first place. (Or perhaps I've gone off the deep end.)

In any case, I really wonder what the point of oddly cheerful fake/brainwashed Kou is. I can only assume it's to try and trick Nene into thinking this new world is better. The motives don't seem very malicious, despite all the harm it's bringing. Amane genuinely wants people to be happy, and I think the Red House is working with him to make his dreams a disturbing reality.

I just wonder where Tsukasa is... is he trapped in the Red House, too? Or is he trapped inside the school, inside Tsukasa-kun? What if he's trapped as a child, unable to grow up, because the innocent little brother that left Amane on their birthday is the only true Tsukasa in Amane's eyes? How well did the Clock Keepers do at getting rid of Tsukasa, anyway...? He can't really be gone, can he!?

Ahh, but anyway!!! Thanks for reading if you got this far. And if Amane really prefers Baby Tsukasa then I suppose I can't complain. I mean, just look at him!!

so, whenever you want to cuddle this man and you're too shy to say it, just flip the octopus plushie and he'll understand. I can imagine him being the big spoon cuddling you while both of your octopus plushies are on top of your guys' head, having the "^^" expression on them.

Fujio: You kidding? This dude lives to give you any sort of nickname he can. “Cutie” is his cheeky go-to that he likes to call you. Sometimes he’ll use “Chief” if he wants to be a goof. Also, any version of your actual name that he can come up with.

Tsukasa: Your name… Don’t expect much else. He thinks petnames are a bit weird.

Jamuo: “My Heart and My Soul” or “My Steamed Dumpling”… There’s no rhyme or reason; you can never tell which it’ll be.

Yasushi: “Little Duck.” It started out as something he said to be annoying, but somehow it ended up sticking. Now even his goons call you “The Duckling.” Great.

Kiyoshi: “Honey,” “Cupcake,” “Plum”… Notice a trend here? You’re subject to being anything that is ‘sweet.’

Nakagoshi: “Babe,” he’s basic. Might be “Baby” if he’s feeling a bit soft or sentimental.

Nakaoka: Also “Babe,” also basic. Sometimes he thinks he’s real funny and will call you “Stink.”

Shibaman: The whole petname thing makes him feel a bit shy and awkward… He’s started absentmindedly calling you “My One” on the occasion, though. If you want him to keep doing it, don’t point it out.

Tsuji: “Darling.” Though, this tends to be something he says more within the privacy of just the two of you. He doesn’t really say it around other people. Maybe sometimes around Shiba and Todoroki, maybe.

Motoaki: “Cutiepie.” He just can’t help it, because he thinks you’re just so stinkin’ cute. Will call you this around anyone, anytime, he doesn’t care. (I think you give him mild cuteness aggression.)

Sachio: “My Love,” always said very softly and with the gentlest of smiles. It took him awhile to get to the point of calling you this, but now he uses it just as often as your own name.

Yuken: “Princess,” which he started out by calling you this ironically, but turns out he actually has trouble saying ‘no’ to you, so the name is fitting.

Eimei: “Apple,” aka “Apple of My Eye.” You’ve kind of all-consumed him, honestly.

Arata: Nope. Too embarrassing; he’s too shy. Just the thought is enough to make him keel over.

Amagai: Almost always your unaltered name. Randomly, though, it’ll be “Bug”… and it’s impossible to tell if he’s saying it affectionately or not.

Ryo: Though he’s a bit shy about it, he does call you “Angel” in private. He accidentally called you that in front of Amagai once and got laughed at, so now it stays between the two of you.

Mario: “Treasure.” And he doesn’t mind calling you this in front of anyone either (because he knows they’re too scared to make fun of him for it). Also, he’s just really proud to show off the fact that you’re his.

Sameoka: 99% of the time he’ll only refer to you by your name. But, during the occasion that he’s in a really, really affectionate mood, he might call you “Love.”

Fujin: “Doll” will basically become a replacement for your name. Does he even remember that you have a name? Who knows, you’re “Doll” at this point.

Binzo: “Kitty”… not “Kitten,” but “Kitty.” He’s a little confused, but he’s got the spirit. Also, if you call him any petnames, he’ll call you the same ones in return, whatever it may be.

Lodestone (Dr. Stone)

Summary: Tsukasa realizes he has feelings for Ryusui and decides to confess them in the only way he knows how.

A/N: Another one I wrote for @giggly-squiggily! This one's been in my drafts FOREVER and I decided with my renewed interest in Dr. Stone (Season 4 baby!) that now was the perfect time to post it. Enjoy!

Tsukasa thought it was sweet, really, the way Gen showered Senku with affection.

Sure, the scientist usually acted unbothered, turning his face to hide his blush from the mentalist but in perfect view of Tsukasa and the others. But Gen knew he loved it and kept it up to the point of overbearing, and still Senku never told him to tone it down or stop. Sometimes the unsentimental man would even reciprocate with a rose on a starry night or a surprise kiss when he thought no one was looking.

It was cute, and Tsukasa wanted to do something similar for a certain blonde-haired captain that had recently joined their crew.

He wasn’t sure when it happened, this fluttering in his chest. One minute he was being introduced, surprised by how loud and determined Ryusui was, and the next he caught himself watching the man map out their route across the ocean with a look of concentration he admired very much, and – boom. Butterflies.

The trouble was Ryusui’s history. He came from a wealthy family and wanted for nothing; he had everything he ever desired and more. What exactly could Tsukasa give him that he hadn’t already had before? For that matter, why was he assuming Ryusui would accept anything from him? Forget their difference in status – that didn’t matter in this stone world – but there was no evidence that the blonde might be interested in guys.

Still, Tsukasa felt like he had nothing else to lose now. So one evening as the sun was going down, he set out to look for something in the forest that would inspire him, something he could give as a gift to show his own affection for their newest companion. It had to be now or never. He might lose his nerve if he didn’t say something tonight.

Surprisingly, he didn’t have to search long at all.

“Ryusui,” Tsukasa said quietly as he approached the fire the captain was sitting beside along with Francois and Chrome. “Is there room for one more?”

Ryusui shot him his trademark grin and hummed around his noodles. “Absolutely! Sit down and eat up.”

Tsukasa sat beside him, and for a while they chatted amicably along with the other two, though the taller man was distracted, constantly looking for an opening. It didn’t feel right with the others right there.

Finally, his chance came when Ryusui stood up to return his bowl to the pile for cleaning. Tsukasa stood with him and said, “If you have a moment, I found something I think you may be interested in.”

“Oh? Then I desire to know what it is!” Ryusui replied grandly, nodding toward the growing number of finished dishes. “Come with me.”

They returned their empty bowls to the pile.

They moved slightly away from the hubbub, still within eyesight of the others but at least out of earshot.

Tsukasa took a breath, reached into his robe, and pulled out the item he’d found earlier. “This…this is for you, Ryusui. As a gift from me.”

Ryusui took it and glanced over it for only a moment before his eyes lit up and he looked back up at the brunette. “Lodestone! Do you know what this was used for?”

“I believe the first compasses were made from them, weren’t they?” Tsukasa replied, smiling when the blonde nodded back at him eagerly.

“What an incredible find! This will be so useful for us when we set sail. Thank you, Tsukasa.”

Hearing his name in the other man’s mouth made his heart clench, and Tsukasa took another breath and decided to just get it over with.

“I wanted to find something special for you because I…I realized I have feelings for you, Ryusui.” Another breath. “I’m not sure if you’re interested in men or not, and of course whatever you feel is valid and I will respect it. I just…” Another breath. “I couldn’t go forward without saying something. So…yes. You’re welcome. I’m glad you like it.”

Ryusui laughed, surprising the taller man. “Tsukasa, you did hear me the other day, didn’t you? I openly admitted to liking both women and men. I’m bisexual.”

“Oh. I…I suppose I just thought you were appreciating both in the general sense. I didn’t know.”

Now the blonde was looking at him appraisingly, as though taking him in for the first time. Tsukasa forced himself not to fidget.

“I have admired you from the beginning, Tsukasa. Though I will be honest and admit I never thought of you in that way. But to be fair…” Ryusui held up a finger as if to stop Tsukasa’s thoughts before they could run away from him. “…it was the last thing on my mind when I woke up in this stone world. So it’s not just you. I’ve been preoccupied.”

“I…I see.”

Ryusui’s smile softened somewhat. “I appreciate the gift. Truly. And I thank you for your interest. I’m flattered.” He tilted his head. “Perhaps we should get to know each other better and see where things go? We are going to be stuck on a ship together for quite some time very soon. I’d like to get to know my crew.”

Tsukasa couldn’t help but chuckle. He liked the blonde’s upfront honesty about his own feelings. It was enough to give him a bit of hope. If nothing else, he knew he wasn’t being outright rejected. He’d take it.

“I think that would be wise,” he replied at last. “Perhaps I may be so bold as to join you in the morning to help you with your duties?”

Ryusui cradled the lodestone close to his chest and snapped his fingers with a smirk. “I expect you bright and early!”

Tsukasa would be there brighter and earlier if it meant getting to spend time with this man.

I think because of his chronic illness, Rui is extra coddling of Tsukasa! He likes to pick him up and carry him everywhere, likes to spoon feed him and loves to play with him gently because he doesn’t want to tire the baby out when he’s regressed!! ૮₍ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ₎ა ₊˚⊹♡

When kasa is feeling dysphoric, I think Rui tends to change his baby boy into his own clothes, and when Tsukasa is dressed in his cgs oversized warm and cozy clothing, it soothes him! ૮ ˶´ ᵕˋ ˶ა
