Ram ke Naam (English: In the Name of God) is a 1992 documentary by Indian filmmaker Anand Patwardhan. The film explores the campaign waged by the right-wing Hindu nationalist organisation Vishva Hindu Parishad to build a temple to the Hindu deity Ram at the site of the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya, as well as the communal violence that it triggered. A couple of months after Ram ke Naam was released, activists of the VHP and other Hindu nationalist groups demolished the Babri Masjid in 1992, provoking further violence

i LOVE greta gerwig for getting men mad and saying things like 'barbie is sexist and anti-men' or that the film is too girly and not interesting enough for men cause i genuinely can't name all the films written by men, directed by men, produced by men, most of the cast members were male (and half of them served jail time) and displayed such disturbing disgusting and abusive narratives (which weren't needed for the plot of the film AT ALL) that i literally got triggered and couldn't even finish the whole thing where as in barbie 'the worst it gets' for men is ken being just ken and not enough for babrie - which ends up getting resolved at the end.

Thinking about Modi-fan Priyanka Chopra praising Monkey Man just one month after taking her family for a photo op at Narendra Modi and the BJP’s newly consecrated, Hindu nationalist pet project, the Ayodhya Ram Mandir, built on the ruins of the Babri Masjid which was razed by fascist, far-right Hindu supremacists (including many in the RSS) in 1992.
For context: whilst being a stunning action film, Monkey Man has also been lauded for its critique of far-right Hindu nationalism. The defining event triggering the main protagonist’s quest for revenge is the razing of his village and the rape and murder of his activist mother, after a fascist Hindu nationalist guru deems the location a “holy site” and seeks to expropriate the land on which the village sits.
Chopra’s cognitive dissonance is real. And so is her raging self interest.

Fo4 Companions Seeing The Barbie Movie
➼ Word Count » 0.2k ➼ Warnings » None ➼ A/N » I went to see it last week and felt the need to make this
MacCready and Hancock were the loudest and wouldn't stop whispering to each other.
Nick chuckled at the references but he only really came because he was asked.
Cait snuck a case of beer in and started chugging when the movie started.
Danse kept shushing anyone who talked because he wanted to have the full movie experience.
Preston bought everyone snacks and made sure they all got to their correct seats. He cried while watching it.
Codsworth visibly had a lot of fun and hummed to every song that played. He also made sure everyone picked up their trash when it was over.
Piper has a crush on Margot Robbie and was staring star-eyed at the screen the entire time.
Curie kept asking questions throughout the film because she had no idea what was happening or who anyone was.
Strong thought it was dumb, got bored half way through, and left.
Hancock sat next to MacCready and would whisper "sole" to him every time someone did something dumb or weird Babrie came up.
Deacon showed up in full Ken cosplay and tried to get everyone else to at least wear a little bit of pink.
X6-88 refused to wear pink and only showed up because he was forced.
Dogmeat wasn't allowed in but he came in clutch with his pink bandana.
Old Longfellow fell asleep and snored through the whole film.
Gage would NEVER admit it, but he secretly had a lot of fun.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated a grand temple to Hindu god Ram in the flashpoint city of Ayodhya.
He said it heralded "a new era" for India - the temple replaces a 16th-Century mosque torn down by Hindu mobs in 1992, sparking riots in which nearly 2,000 people died.
Top film stars and cricketers were among guests at the event in Ayodhya.
But some Hindu seers and most of the opposition boycotted it, saying Mr Modi was using it for political gain.
General elections are due in India in the next few months and Mr Modi's political rivals say the governing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will be seeking votes in the temple's name in a country where 80% of the population is Hindu.
Critics have also accused the government of exploiting a religious celebration in a country which - according to its constitution - is secular. For Muslims, India's biggest minority, the event evoked fear and painful memories, members of the community in Ayodhya told the BBC in the run-up to Monday's ceremony.
Televised live, it showed Mr Modi performing religious rituals inside the temple's sanctum along with priests and Mohan Bhagwat, head of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) - the ideological fountainhead of Hindu nationalist parties.
The complex history of India's Ayodhya holy site
Transforming a flashpoint holy city into the ‘Hindu Vatican’
"Today's date will go down in history," Mr Modi said after the event. "After years of struggle and countless sacrifices, Lord Ram has arrived [home]. I want to congratulate every citizen of the country on this historic occasion."
The temple has been constructed at a cost of $217m (£170m), funded from private donations. Only the ground floor was opened - the rest is expected to be completed by the end of the year. The construction work is part of a revamp for the city, estimated to cost more than $3bn.
The building of the Ram temple in Ayodhya fulfils a decades-long Hindu nationalist pledge. Many Hindus believe the Babri mosque was built by Muslim invaders on the ruins of a temple where the Hindu god was born.
The movement to build the temple helped propel the BJP into political prominence in the 1990s.
There was a festive atmosphere as tens of thousands of chanting Hindu devotees waved flags and beat drums - military helicopters showered flower petals on the temple. Saffron flags with pictures of Lord Ram line streets in the city festooned with marigolds, as do banners with the faces of Mr Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Some of India's biggest celebrities, including Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan and cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, attended.
Temple rises from ruins of one of India’s darkest days
Listen: The temple at the heart of Modi's India re-election bid
Transforming a flashpoint holy city into the ‘Hindu Vatican’
In many other northern cities Hindus lit lamps, and saffron flags carrying images of Ram are fluttering on rooftops, including in several parts of Delhi. Cinemas screened the event, and big screens relayed pictures from Ayodhya to town squares and residential neighbourhoods.
The ceremony, called Pran Pratishtha, which loosely translates from Sanskrit into "establishment of life force", lasted about an hour. Hindus believe that chanting mantras and performing rituals around a fire will infuse sacred life in an idol or a photograph of a deity.
Several domestic TV stations built huge sets by the side of the river Saryu, a tributary of the Ganges, just behind the temple, and provided wall-to-wall coverage of the event, some proclaiming the moment of consecration as the start of "Ram Rajya" (Lord Ram's rule) in India.
Hindus celebrated the inauguration in other countries too. Massive billboards of Lord Ram graced Times Square in New York, where a group of devotees braved the freezing weather to gather in the middle of the night.
Temples all across the United Kingdom - where Indians are one of the largest diaspora groups - marked the event. Colourful posters had been shared inviting devotees to honour the occasion and celebrations involved flowers, sweets and music. There were also some celebrations in Muslim-majority Dubai - where Indians are a significant population - but from Indian news reports these appeared more muted than elsewhere.
In 2019, the Supreme Court gave the disputed land to Hindus after a protracted legal battle followed the mosque's demolition. Muslims were given a plot outside the city for a mosque but have yet to build one.
One member of the community the BBC spoke to in Ayodhya ahead of Monday's inauguration agreed that Hindus have the right to build the temple after the Supreme Court gave them the site.
"We did not accept that decision happily, but what can we do," he said. Another man said he was happy Hindus are building the temple - "but we are also sad because it was built after destroying a mosque".
The new three-storey temple - made with pink sandstone and anchored by black granite - stretches across 7.2 acres in a 70-acre complex. A 51-inch (4.25-ft) statue of the deity, specially commissioned for the temple, was unveiled last week. The idol has been placed on a marble pedestal in the sanctum sanctorum.
Thousands of police were deployed for Monday's event, despite Mr Modi having appealed to pilgrims not to turn up and to watch the ceremony on television. In many states a full or half day holiday was called, with schools and colleges closed and stock markets shut.
The build-up to a demolition that shook India
The man who helped Lord Ram win the Ayodhya case
But a sour note was struck with some top religious seers saying that as the temple was not yet complete, it was against Hinduism to perform the rituals there, and many opposition leaders deciding to stay away.
Some opposition-ruled states also announced their own plans for the day - West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said she would pray at the iconic temple to goddess Kali in Kolkata and then lead an all-faith rally. The eastern state of Odisha (Orissa) unveiled huge plans to bring pilgrims to the Jagannath temple in Puri, one of the holiest sites for Hindus.
Authorities say they expect more than 150,000 visitors per day once the temple in Ayodhya is fully ready.
To accommodate this expected rush, new hotels are being built and existing ones spruced up as part of a major makeover and in recent weeks, a new airport and railway station have opened.
Officials say they are building a "world-class city where people come as pilgrims and tourists", but many local people have told the BBC that their homes, shops and "structures of religious nature" have been either completely or partially demolished to expand roads and set up other facilities.

@gyubby99 I'm copying you.
What my OC's would think of the barbie movie.
Helluva/Hazbin: Aella- would take her son to the movie cause she thought it would be a funny lighthearted movie. Only to cry like 5 times, especially at the end of the movie when "What was I made for" started playing. Then she later goes home and pulls out all of her barbies from her garage.
Aponi- the speech got to her the first time and she tried really hard to hide the tears that spilled during it and during "What was I made for". Understands the overall on a major level.... sits for the next few days with a numb look on her face as she listens to "what was I made for"
Azzaria- "HA FUCK THE PATRIARCHY" and also "I'm kenough". She also buys lots of merch.
Becca- went to see it with Blitz and loona, only to cry at "What eas I made for" specifically when the childhood scenes are playing in the background because it einded her of her own childhood.
Cordelia- Gloria is her favorite character. Sings the entire soundtrack (badly) while also dancing. Later after she processes the movie, she cries, because she understood the pressure to be perfect.
Furcalor- favorite character is Barbie (Margot Robbie). She fumes at how misogynistic the men in the movie were. Even tho her color is yellow and gold, she wears full blow hot pink to the movie..
Linda "Bunny" Davis- "not all men are like that!" and "the movie is very anti men, and in this society it really shouldn't be!"
Roxxie- cries for weeks while constantly wearing pink.
TPOIF: Ella- cries through the whole movie while leaning on Eli.
Eli- holds ella as he watches the movie, understanding its about equality. Also buys "I am kenough" hoofies for him and ella so they can match.
Mia- wants to fight literally every man in the movie. Loreley has to hold her back.
Loreley- tears up, but doesn't say anything even though she needs to cry her eyes out.
Alistar- "*rolls his eyes as he talks to a misogynist about how they understood the movie wrong* its about equality, dipshit! The movie shows how if we treated men the same way, there would be a fucking UPROAR but yet we treat women like this." Would also wear an "I am kenough" hoodie.
Rosalyn- she LOVES Gloria. She went home and broke out all her old barbies to play with hope.
Eve- loves how they went about making the film and is obsessed with President barbie.
Alruna- smiles through the whole movie because of the amazing message it's trying to send.
Deena- she balls her fucking EYES out. She knows her sister would love the damn movie, and she understands How pressure feels.
Clare- tries to hide that she cries, but laughs through the whole movie every time a man is dragged through the mud.
Carol- fucking CRIES. because she had to grow up real fast when she got married to John, and she wasn't allowed her childhood anymore. She really needs a hug.
Jacob- likes it and likes Ken, but doesn't appreciate how Ken rose up against barbie. He wears pink not because his family made him, but because he wanted to be THAT dad. Bjys his family babies afterwards and makes sure his girls know how loved they are..
John- "ugh. Why would I see the barbie movie? Critics say it's all about WOMEN" (ps.my dad legit did this. He said that he didn't like the babrie movie cause people say Ken was "silenced" in the end. My dad has not seen the movie. I lost a bit of respect for my father after he said that tbh)
Eathan- buys a Ken doll afterwards, and buys Carol a doll that looks like her with a note that says "you were made to be the best woman in the universe, my love"
Hope- this girl cries her eyes out at the end. She then goes to play barbies with her mom.
Isaac- "oh I LOVE Margot Robbie!!!!"
Asher- too young to understand and laughs at all the jokes. Later asks why his sister and mom were crying.
Emily- tears up with a sad smile before leabing onto her mom, hugging her.
Other: Avianna- cries. Also laughs at how much men get dragged.
Frozenverse: Eirwen- glances continuously at her mom when "what was I made for" plays. She also starts to break down when after the movie, her mother hugs her and kisses her on the head murmuring "i love you so much, my little snow".

okay so theres still 3 days left in this and there are 29k+ votes, ive read through almost all of the tags/responses and have collected some data!! and want to provide some interesting things:
BARBIE STATS
practically 90% of the barbie girls (gender neutral term) did not have a ken doll and the 10% that did tended to have 2 both of with where the "slutty glitter stripper / beach whore" in their own words which i personally think is a serve
transformers x barbie is very common choice by the children suggesting the better alternative to the films
west coast USA is actually barbieland USA
east coast USA is also acutally barbieland USA but this time then also had a shit ton of hand-me-down cabbage patch kids too
there were less babrie knockoffs that i was assuming but most of the ones out there are like a national knockoff (the most common one stated was the mexican off-brand)
though uncommon if a child is given a gimmick babrie that child will either be terrified of it or love it so very much there is no in between
lesbian barbies are the only barbies that matter actually
BRATZ STATS
Bratz kids get INTO IT, almost every response that says bratz mentioned the doll by name, that they adored all media relating to the girls and and overwhelming majority still have the dolls
every Bratz kid has a favorite and there doesnt seem to really be an outsanding it girl but there are lots of opinons
MH STATS
most people where "just out of the doll playing age range" for monster high dolls since they didn't come out until 2011
most of the people that where in that "doll playing age range" when monster high came out had parents who refused to buy "slutty/devilish" dolls just grew up to dress like said devilish sluts
oh boy does the MH fandom have opinons and you WILL know them all
the favored MH dolls seems to be actually having both Clawdeen and Draculaura which as we all know cannot be seperated
POLLY STATS
most polly pocket kids chewed the shit out of them
polly pockets seem like the most common doll used to (re)enact traumatic events, eviromental disasters or be the outlet for childhood worldbuilding aventures (lots of socratic debates on the nature of humanity and inventing dystopian cities of the supernaturally gifted)
mighty max (the 'boy version' of polly pocket) was not as uncommon as assumed it too be and it was not uncommon to have siblings of the opposite binary to mix their pollys and maxes into a large vat in the hallway
polly pockets had the most diverse spread over the world and the only border that i could clearly see was they werent imported to eastern europe nor parts of the medertian
i have an unstatuable desire to follow every lesbian that picked polly pockets because monkey see monkey do or whater (its terminal actually im in love with every lesbian and they all loved polly pocket)
those old enough to rmember the 'tiny ass' orginal polly pockits all had younger sisters that got the non-choking hazard generation and call them "jumbo-pollys"
CPK and BABY DOLL STATS
i may have inserted my personal bias for the CPK brand into the study as most people claimed to be "too young" for them and that by the time they would have been hand-me-downs they where considered "ugly and weird"
a decent number of people had a bunch of CPK but the people who actually likes them are a) not normal about it and b) insane (i am in fact just talking about myself)
still unsure if anyone else had the mini plastic cpk dolls that where actually pretty cute and had lots of fun furnature but the hunt continues
other baby dolls are rather uncommon other than fuckin Baby Born
AG STATS
american girls were and continue to be hella fuckin expensive but a seeming majority of girls in the USA end up with there prefered girl and a just like me
the common alternative for us poor people was reading all of the books and having a prefered girl
the online game(s) isn't a figment of my imagination
the prefered girl tends to align more with the interests of the indiviual and not race / location / age or interests of parental figures
Josphine it THE it girl of AG with americans
Kaya is the horse girl's horse girl
Felicity is a morbid topic it seems
PORCELAIN DOLL STATS
most kids did not own porcelain dolls by choice by did use them as decoration not as toys (a good portion would then become terrified of them dooming many and elizabethian dressed baby to the darkness of a spooky closet or forgotten box in the attic)
eastern europe didnt import most of the name brand dolls at all or until recently so porcelain dolls are more common
ACTION FIGURE/ POSIABLE STATS
bionicles bionicles bionicles bionicles bionicles bionicles bionicles
most boys had action figures didnt mean they where action figure kids
i am an idiot for forgetting how prolific the Lego commnunity is but in my defense i dont consider them human figurines and no i cant explain that but im glad to see fellow lego children are still fellow lego adults (lego fans i love you)
girls who where boys and boys who where girls love Lego (t4l real)
OTHER CONTENDERS
the Ever After High fans are upset that they where left off on purpose because i am spiteful and its the preps answer for the goth majority that is mh domaniance but their decication to a forgotten brand is stronger than my distain
MyScene dolls are WAY more cunty than i remembered
said MyScene dolls belonged to a very specifc subset of the turn of millennium crowd and i can only describe that group as intense
those with the Groovy Girls all had neat grandmothers and are generally pretty cool people themselves
the midwestern USA is full of Betty Spaghetti and thats okay
i betrayed the Strawberry Shortcake clan and may face serious retrubution for it
the La La Loopsy gang is a visocous group and i fear for my saftey
Littlest Pet Shop fans don't know how to read but also own oh so many tiny animal stores its a true accomplish for them
Nikita warned me that every german was going to say Schleich Elves and she was right but also every european also said Schleich
british 80s girls loved Sindy and the fact that didnt have a smile plastered on
Jem and the Holograms dolls are adored and revered in some cases
FUCKING PLAYMOBIL DOMINATES THE NON-USA MARKETS IM SO SORRY FOR THE DISRESPECT
NOTES ON DOLL CULTURE & OTHER CHILDHOOD THINGS
autistic children love dinosaurs / barbie deserves pet sauropods
autism be damned having pretty dolls overwhelmed the urge to just line everything up, however the alternative was consitently orginizing and growing a collection but not actually "playing in normal terms'' we love just dressing and redressing the same doll 40 times a week and never doing anything else ever
80s babes are all My Little Pony kids, everyone over the age of 29 mentioned MLP and it seems less of a statement on horsegirl culture and more in line with not liking Barbie or baby dolls
post 90s babes where MLP kids for a different reason -_-
most other poor children took what they could and that tended to be a libraby memebership and bratz dolls they totally didnt steal
almnost everyone regardless of anything (age/gender/country/parental intensity) ended up with a barbie even if it was a secert
the furries REALLY LOVE the phrase "i didn't play with humonids" and my friend (the arugement maker) autumn laughed everytime i readed this phrase
having THE PLANE is always the most important thing regardless of doll type its a sign of dedication to the brand and every brand had THE PLANE and it was important (trust me)
if there is a mermaid in the doll line its gonna sell like hotcakes EXPECTUALLY if she has color-changing hair
paper dolls where way more common than i was expecting, i didn't think people played with them longer than a day or so but that may be the point more research is needed
somewhen around 06 there was an empedemic of doll... bungey jumpers
the stuff animal kids are a vast clan and overwhelm the might of any doll clan, the divide and concure method works
CONCLUSION: most people ended up the an assortment mainly from hand-me-downs, a favored doll often had more sway over the personal collection but most liked there stuffed animals more
tune in later to see the winner and how it's probably barbie because we are all barbie girls living in a barbie world
end an argument for me
and for the sake of my data add your region/country, reblogs would help for proving my bias wrong

It's so funny to see a person in the ram mandir tag post a photoset of screenshots of a segment from the docu film Ram ke Naam ( which criticizes this fanaticism of establishing a Ram mandir over the ruins of Babri Masjid), to celebrate the "pran pratistha" thing going on. Well what else can be expected from people celebrating the country burning down.

Barbie
i watched barbie. i thought it would be better from all the praise it got. it did pretty well on feminism 101. almost.
ryan gosling somehow did the best acting job ive seen from him yet and i guess they did cast right because he did not actually look too old in the film. i liked the start quite a lot. i thought the end didn't work and didnt have a tempo that works. barbie's existential journey was the conclusion but wasn't actually the main conflict or story, so ending on it was very random. felt like a distraction from how they ended the actual story. they definitely improved it by having the narrator dryly compare the ken's first steps and eventual gains in power to women's position today. but...the dance and sing off and the whole journey where ken just needs to be ken and not so focused on barbie....it's certainly a commentary on masculinity, but its a bit too generous towards men - if kens are supposed to be like men. the solution offered is to wake up from the brainwashing, remember you're a human being, make a plan in solidarity with your sisters, and use mens egos to have them go to war with each other - meanwhile you can make the laws? this doesnt make sense in analogous way which made the ending fall short. you've got to trick men out of voting? how hostile towards men, and then instantly forgiving, because they're just insecure and obsessive. in the real world, that shit ends in femicide...it wasn't coherent
the missing puzzle pieze in this is the PATRIARCH. i liked the on-the-noseness of it all generally dropping the word the patriarchy left and right but the analogy fell short here. it is not women who send men to war with each other to control them. and to do so in the real world of real bullets does not benefit women, FAR from it. it is the patriarch that sends young kens to war with eachother to control them. but there is no patriarch in barbieland.... this is what i thought Mattels CEO was going to be. and that maybe barbies and kens would band together against him. alas.
they might have been able to push it - the ending as it was - maybe thats what we were supposed to get, where stereotypical barbie, even stereotypical barbie becomes a real woman. there's somethign there, the problem is i dont know what.
i was amazed by the great acting from the kid and gloria. even lines that wouldnt otherwise have worked. my favourite jokes were the kid outright calling babrie a FASCIST out of nowhere jahahahaha. and my other two favourite jokes was the dad learning spanish on duolingo and him not having been the dude teaching her mom to drive like that. and maybe also the dude being like HAHA no we do patriarchy very well. we just hide it better. not quite a joke but very sharp
mattel's ceo was also quite amusing. over the top by just the right amount. but then they made him A Fine Dude After All instead of the patriarch as i said.

honestly i would in general be wary of anything extolling indian nationalisms, even when those nationalisms appear to be showing up as a counter to british colonization. for example, i was pretty dismayed to see the western delight over the movie RRR. the film has strong hindutva underpinnings, in particular through its ramayana symbolism, which has a history of being used to galvanize the hindu nationalist movement. and this had very tangible effects, including the 1992 destruction of the babri masjid mosque in ayodhya, and the beginning of construction of a ram temple in its place in 2020 - a move that has empowered hindu nationalist violence and genocide of muslims.
there's obviously a balance here, as british colonization continues to have deep scars in south asia, but hindutva is attempting to reframe itself as a decolonization struggle not only over the mughals but also over the british, which allows for this kind of mythmaking that furthers hindu fascism.
other things to watch out for:
op got at this related to kashmir but in general, anything referring to hindus as "indigenous people"
people talking about how south india isn't casteist because caste-based violence there is usually between scheduled castes and/or other backward classes (in case op's post didn't make it clear, "other backward class" or obc is an official classification in india...yeah), which doesn't account for the violence of brahminical patriarchy outside of direct violence
the idea that hindi is or should be the one true national language of india
hindutva pinkwashing and homonationalism - i've especially seen this come up with kashmir, where hindu fascists will spout nonsense about how india's revocation of article 370 (which previously gave kashmir semi-autonomous status) was necessary to enforce the decriminalization of homosexuality, or in relation to the transgender persons (protection of rights) bill
oh, and to be clear, caste and caste oppression are not limited to hindu communities in south asia - muslim, sikh, and christian communities perpetuate casteism as well. BUT, like with op's point about hindus being persecuted in pakistan and bangladesh, this is NOT justification for systemic oppression of religious minorities by the ruling hindu government and class. rather, it highlights the need for caste abolition in ALL communities
everyday i see clueless westerners (especially white people) reblog thinly veiled hindutva propaganda which they wouldn't know cause they know absolutely nothing about what goes on in india. so here are some signs that that the tumblr user you're interacting with is a hindu nationalist:
they either do not acknowledge casteism or claim that caste is a western construct. my personal favourite however is dismissing anyone bringing up caste discrimination by saying that the indian constitution outlaws untouchability. they may also bring up the fact that the prime minister belongs to an other backwards class (obc) so clearly india has moved on from caste and hindutva isn't only for the upper castes. they possess a shallow understanding of caste
harping on about "islamic colonisation" : no, the mughals did not colonise india. when you point this out, they will immediately assume that you think muslim invaders were innocent beings who did nothing wrong, which is very much not what anyone is claiming here
while we're on the topic of "islamic colonisation" they will also refer to the demolishing of muslim sites of heritage and worship and then building hindu temples over them as "decolonisation" (cough cough ram mandir) the hindu right also goes around pretending that they're indigenous to india. this is false
along a similar vein, they will dismiss islamaphobia by bringing up instances of hindu oppression in countries like pakistan and bangladesh. it is true that hindus are persecuted in these two countries, however they are used to fuel their oppression complex, that their upper caste hindu self is under attack in india of all places (think a white christian in the united states). you should be in solidarity with minorities everywhere. it is neither transactional or conditional (note: they will never bring up sri lanka. persecution of hindus exists only when the oppressors are muslim)
claiming that hindu nationalism and hindutva are not the same because hindutva means "hindu-ness". that is only the literal translation of the term. like it or not, they're the same thing
they support the indian military occupation of kashmir. they will call it an integral part of kashmir, one reason which will be "hinduism is indigenous to kashmir." they will also bring up the last maharaja of kashmir signing the instrument of accession as further proof, as if the consent of the people was taken
they're zionists. do i even need to explain this. hindutva is just zionism for hindus
they refer to buddhism and jainism (sikhism too sometimes) as branches of hinduism rather than separate, distinct religions
they condemn any resistance to the indian govt as a burden or terrorism) (like calling the farmers who are currently protesting a hindrance or terrorists. funny how sikhs are the same as hindus when they support hindu causes but terrorists when they resist oppression...)
they call you a pseudo liberal or a fake leftist. i'm telling you, they don't know jackshit. they can't even tell the difference between a liberal and a leftist and call US unread lmao. bonus points if they call you a liberandu or a sickularist 💀
they call india "bharat" when they talk in english. there are in fact multiple indian languages call india bharat or bharatam, but if they say bharat while talking in english, that is absolutely a hindu nationalist no questions asked
please do your due diligence. read up on hindutva. hindu nationalists have already started making gains in the united states, thanks to rich upper caste nris . do not fall for propaganda
