mohammed (@supportmohammedmsiam1) is a 23-year-old student from gaza who is trying to rebuild his family's home in khan yunis after it was destroyed by israel. he and his family were forced to flee their homes and have been displaced multiple times. his father's shop was also destroyed, destroying his livelihood. mohammed hopes to to travel outside gaza to finish his education once borders are open, and will need funds for that as well.

shaima (@familgazaamal1) and her four children, majdi, walid, abdel rahim, and amal, have been displaced in gaza multiple times, living through genocide in a small tent, while separated from shaima's husband who went to egypt just weeks before october 7, 2023. shaima's baby great-nephew also has a problem with peripheral nerves in his left hand and right foot, and needs to be evacuated to egypt as soon as possible with them for treatment.

abed (@abedalahdiaburas) is a lawyer from gaza city who has lost his home and livelihood under genocide. he and his family, including his children, have been forced to flee israeli attacks multiple times, now living in a tent in the middle of nowhere. they need funds for emergency shelter, food and water, medical care, education, and rebuilding their livelihoods.

they have currently only raised 11.27% of their goal.

in august 2023, ola (@olasfamily), mathematics grad student at al-azhar university in gaza, had also just gotten her first teaching job at a school where she was beloved by her students. but just a few months later, her neighborhood, school, and university were destroyed by israel, forcing her, her parents, and four younger siblings to leave their home and be displaced multiple times in northern gaza. they need funds for food, water, clothing, and other essential needs.

they have currently raised 88.25% of their goal.

before october 7, 2023, mohammed (@iammohammedw) was in university studying mechatronics engineering. but his life was turned upside down as he and his family were forcibly displaced from their family in beit hanoun. since then, mohammed has suffered multiple displacements; being separated from his family, detained and sexually harassed by israeli soldiers; and the loss of two of his aunts, three of his cousins, and his beloved cat. he is trying to raise funds to protect his family and get them basic food and water.

they have currently only raised 1.99% of their goal.

mahmoud (@mahmoudgazza1) is 21 years old and was working as a truck driver in gaza before october 7, 2023. but suddenly his life was turned upside down when he tragically lost his father, his home, and his job. now he is taking care of his family, including his mother, his siblings, and his wife who is pregnant, trying to survive genocide - which has not stopped just because of the ceasefire - in a tattered tent.

hisham (@saraqandee64499) and his family of 7, which is made up of his parents, his wife, and their children, kamal (age 9), juri (age 8), and muhammad (age 1), have been facing unspeakable horrors under genocide in gaza. his mother is ill, and his children are so malnourished that they have been losing consciousness from hunger. they are raising funds for food and other basic needs, and to eventually leave gaza to get treatment for his mother.

Mutual Aid Request

Hey guys its DJ with a rewrite of the same dono post.

I'm very much still in a state of emergency.

Things are the worst they've been foodwise yet. I was homeless last month. My friend took me and my roommate in, but his car is out of commission now. Most of his funds keep the lights on, and him employed.

Food is strikingly low. We've got naught but one ramen pack left and some canned vegetables, some crackers, and dry cereal. There is no working fridge at all. My link card is not enough to support one person for a month, let alone 3. Things are looking bleak. I'm losing hope for a good year.

I've no hats or gloves or adequate winter wear at all since the move and before. As many things now require me to walk to procure, I'm basically fucked without a job in this new place.

It's not advised by my own mental care specialists that I work immediately after my month long panic episode. This does mean I'm basically starving myself trying to keep food in the house for us. I've already spent my food stamps for the month. I'm still losing weight.

I am black disabled and queer. My friends and I do not deserve to starve here. Please don't let us fall by the wayside!

My goal is now a simple 200. If 4 people were kind enough to send 50 soon, we could make great use of our goal.

part of the reason America still doesn’t have universal healthcare is that a large portion of the healthy population consciously or subconsciously believes that being sick is somehow a moral failing. someone randomly has a heart attack at age 30 and there are people like “well, you should have eaten better, exercised more and drank less” like a medical emergency is proof you were living a life of sloth and sin and it could never happen to them.
