But before I share my thoughts and ideas for this au, note that I am making this all for fun and that I am only merging two concepts at once because they sound fun in my head!

-- So without further ado, let's start shall we?

Ragatha in Wonderland is a fun silly lil' au I thought about in my spare time (Though I am aware that I'm not the only person who had similar ideas) buuut! Here's my take on how this concept goes ~

💜🟣🎀- - - - - RAGATHA IN WONDERLAND - - - - -🎀🟣💜

🌻 Wonderland is similar yet different from the Circus. Many possibilities await in this newly found land, but wait... How odd, suddenly everyone and everything is of new variation! Did things really stay the same? Are things different? It's a confusing world that warped and transformed the original digital land into something new. New places to explore, new outfits! New concepts... New people? It seems everything changed. Perhaps even... True death is possible now.

Ragatha - Plays the role as Alice. Confused and bewildered at first but Ragatha progressively adapts to the world and the surroundings around her. Acts like herself for the first portions of the story but as she dwells longer in this 'wonderland' she loses herself, her identity, as if the place was sucking out all of 'her'. She'll meet a lot of familiar faces. She feels comforted, knowing that she isn't alone in this newly found world but little does she know - they are not what she seemed.

Jax - The white rabbit leading Ragatha to wonderland. Jax was the one who dragged her in this, so Ragatha's first instincts was to follow him, hoping he knows where the exit is. Though he often plays tricks, teasing and playing with Ragatha's head whenever given the chance. Maybe he doesn't sound like a reliable shoulder to lean on, but he is Ragatha's key in terms of escaping wonderland.

Gangle - Starring as the mouse and the dormouse. The first person (other than Jax) Ragatha meets in wonderland. Gangle is skittish and has an extreme fear of cats. She does not like hearing or mentioning them, her mouse-like features says so otherwise. Though, in later unfortunate events, Ragatha scares her by mentioning, you guess it, cats. And then flees elsewhere.

Zooble - Following the (possibly tobacco) smoke trails, enters in the wise caterpillar. Meeting for the first time was not fun, in Ragatha's case mostly. Zooble asks Ragatha a lot of questions, typically centering around herself which gradually starts her descend into madness. Zooble's questions hit hard for Ragatha, making her realize a lot of things and learn more about the world. Though one question stuck the most, "who are YOU?"

Caine - The Hatter/Mad hatter. Need I say more? Hehe, anyways... Caine, alongside Bubble, is notably the most mad or insane person living in wonderland. Always yapping about random things (Riddles, jokes, factual statement... you name it) that can either be truth or made up, which Ragatha can't tell the difference of since they are always so surreal and deranged, or in other words, utter nonsense! He is another character that made Ragatha's mental state and mindset deteriorate. (Ragatha wishes to never meet him again)

Pomni - It's Pomni! Though, something is off... Pomni's role is the Cheshire cat. She's willing to help Ragatha escape, even suggesting ideas that felt to be possible, but are things really that easy? No, of course not! She is a red herring, a person filled with mischief that fools and plays with her victims until she deems them boring. Ragatha meets Pomni in the woods right after she ran away from Caine, and just like Jax, Pomni plays with Ragatha's head. But eventually helps her out and leads her to the kingdom's garden.

Kinger - Sometimes, a king is fit to be queen. Kinger is the Queen of Hearts, a short tempered, bossy but childish queen. After first meeting, Ragatha didn't deem Kinger as a threat at first, even playing a simple game of croquet with him. But as she starves and remembers that hunger was present in this land, she secretly ate the queen's well-known 'tarts'. This resulted into the seething rage of Kinger, declaring a court trial in which Ragatha was later proven to be 'guilty'. Hence, "OFF WITH HER HEAD!"

🌻 So, spoiler alert -- Just like in original tales and stories inspired by Alice in Wonderland, this was all in Ragatha's head, a dream! I'm debating to either turn this into a comic or not, because I think it helps further explain my ideas, but who knows? Maybe with the right motivation and energy, I might do it.

CAINE:

its not totally unheard of people getting unique abilities when they enter the digital world, its just not very common (this is a hc!), so when caine found out you could manipulate your appearance he wasn't all that surprised! i think he was more intrigued more than anything, because its not everyday you see something like that! he would be absolutely thrilled if you shifted into him; both from being amused of it and this man probably loves himself as much as someone can

will try to pop you if you mimic bubble, kind of feels bad for a second but your disguise was just so so convincing! say, were you by any chance an actor in your past life in the real world? you totally had him fooled!

POMNI:

pomni would be a little freaked out, especially if you just. suddenly sneezed and OH! now it looks like you're abstracting in front of everyone! first response is to run away before the transformation is complete, but when she notices no one else is freaking out (ragatha even blesses you!) shes more than a little confused

you offer to demonstrate your abilities to her, but she probably politely turns you down; she understands... for the most part... really its mostly just her trying to become used to the digital world as a whole

RAGATHA:

ragatha makes sure that you know that she thinks its cool; and as long as you're not morphing into a giant bug shes encouraging you to hone in on that cool power of yours! compliments whatever form you choose for the day

oh? you changed your hair color! she likes it, the new look is amazing on you! oh? you made yourself a little taller and gave yourself some new characteristics! points out nearly every detail shes noticed, no matter how small. ragatha pays attention, ragatha cares

JAX:

tries to drag you off to the dark side (ie being a menace to the others), whether or not you agree to be his partner in crime and 'use your power for evil' is fully up to you!

makes random requests to see just how far you can take your shapeshifting, usually listing off things at lightning speed to see if you can catch up.. if your shapeshifting takes a toll on you (like lets say it takes energy out of you) he might let up when he realizes how tired and pale you look all of a sudden.. at least for now

KINGER:

speedrunning to kinger for a moment before i forget this idea but imagine shapeshifting into him and hes just totally confused. leads to him making weird movements and you copying him (he thinks caine added a new mirror in the middle of the room for a solid minute before you break the illusion)

unless you have a set 'base form' hes going to keep thinking youre a new person if you drastically alter your appearance.. which, fair, since i think if you made yourself look unrecognizable, people would think youre a new person entirely. has probably introduced himself to you multiple times before realizing it was you

kinger gets a technical third bullet point but its not fluff. i just remembered the scene from steven universe where amethyst shapeshifts into rose in front of greg. but instead its kinger and instead of rose is queener/queenie. i hurt my own feelings. im gonna stew over this now

ZOOBLE:

honestly if you look just a mixmatched as them they would be into it and say you look cool. i had an idea that zooble has spare pieces and sometimes switches out their pieces for a new look, so imagine the two of you make matching looks or something, i think that would be cool

otherwise i dont think zooble would treat you any differently than if you were friends and couldnt shapeshift... though... i will admit, they think its funny when jax annoys you and change yourself in order to get him to back off. serves him right!

GANGLE

imagine she asks you to be a model for her art.. asking you to do different poses as well as different figures so she can better her craft. i absolutely love the idea of gangle being really into art, and this idea is just so cute to me

In regards to gameplay i felt like it was pretty standard? i ended up using the basic disc weapon for most of the game because switching weapons takes Way too long if youre actively fighting, which is kind of a shame cuz there are so many weapon options... i did really enjoy the energy claw though 👍also the light cycle racing SUCKED and there was a graphical glitch that made it so that a bunch of visuals to my cycle were missing so i couldnt even enjoy the new design that was hyped up lol. as complicated as gameplay felt up front it definitely felt much better as it went on so it was pretty good.

game progression was very straightforward which i didnt expect..? go do this and then do that, etc. i thought it would be more open. this isnt rlly a complaint bc at least i wasnt lost or anything.

finding all the build notes was thankfully not hard but i enjoy poking around as much as i can in games already... and i liked the mechanics of searching archive boxes and being able to read emails between people ::-) YAY NOSINESS !!! despite finding all the build notes i still didnt end with the highest version i couldve...🤔 no idea how that works then...

moving on 2 story...

all the characters felt a bit flat so that was unfortunate... i wouldve liked to see some more emotions from everyone, bit more personality, etc...

i dont rlly know where jet's attachment to mercury came from, is he in love with this girl, if so why?? im thinking that since she was the first program to really reach out and help jet, that he latched on to her. but as the player i was kind of neutral on her SORRY although her design is cool

i was in disbelief that lora died and i was thinking she would just have been digitized and b in the computer somewhere? and there are allusions to her at least being superficially present in the program ma3a/ma2a etc (they have the same actress ^^__^^) but neither jet nor alan mention this which really shocks me??!!!??? thats your deceased mom or wife can u show a bit of tenderness or something..... maybe this can be cooked up more in an AU or something . idk i was really hoping she (and yori) would be around. i held on to hope for so long ✊️

OBVIOUSLY WISHING TRON WAS THERE... but omg alan being in the digital world shocked me so much i really liked that HEHE. him wearing tron's outfit was fun. i saw someone else in the tag say this, but if tron is "retired" then where is he?? INQUIRING MINDS WANNA KNOW !! he and jet werent very fazed by being digitized which surprised me buuut they also have to adapt fast given the urgency of their situation..

i felt rlly bad that thorne died SNIFFLE SNIFFLE jet and alan just watched a real guy die in front of them thats MESSED UP!! he was really cool too i enjoyed the corruption concept ::-) i was really worried the three fcon employees were gonna die too but im glad they implied that they could be repaired and manifested again.. (what is the word for un-digitized..?)

evil ma3a was really cool 👍 tbh all the antagonists are cool except im neutral on the kernel. i was confused that he was red i thought he was evil like in the original movie with the MCP's soldiers.. but i think hes just a guy who happens to be red. and also trying to kill u but just bc you (jet) are a freak of computer nature and should not be there. thats fair. i enjoyed his boss fight too.

THE FCON MONSTER WAS RLLY COOL HOW AM I NOT SEEING ANY FANART OF THEM.... ::-( i have to fix this... ALSO I WISH they had dialogue. like are they even aware of their situation. missed opportunity !!

WAIT UM I READ THE COMIC CONTINUATION(?) the ghost in the machine AS WELL and i dont have many thoughts on it bc it was really confusing BUT i did enjoy the layers of horror and unreality which i really did not expect. was also expecting the titular ghost to have more to do with lora (SIGH I REALLY WANNA SEE HER AGAIN) but it didnt but thats okay. i really liked the art of the first book specificaly.....

not weird at all! but i gotta warn you real fast i never got too deep into JJBA, in fact i left early in part three TToTT so im relying on google for this one since my friend who sometimes infodumps jjba stuff to me is busy </3, so this might be a little off since i dont really fully understand what a stand is words might be a little jumbled up since im still kinda waking up; i wanna get some requests done so i can work on art stuff ueue also my keyboard is being weird and randomly capitalizing letters so if i accidentally miss some and fail to correct them, thats why you might see a random cap mid word SOBS only doing it with the main 3 due to this being so out of my field </3

I use Procreate to draw since I’m mostly a digital artist but I’m also trying out animation and I use ToonSquid for that! :)

So, I haven't been drawing too much digitally yet (or at all cuz I lack motivation), but I wanted to share my first ever finished piece of art. Again: I am not good with digital drawing yet and there are so many things you COULD do with it. But since it's a lot I don't understand shit.🫠 But with what i figured out I still finished this:

So, uhh...This is my latest DnD OC.

His name is Dr.Cal (heavily inspired cuz I'm a big Psychonauts fan, but I also aspire him to be something else and not just some copy. Which evolves through playing DnD and improvising his character, which is going well so far).

He makes prosthetics in his secretive little shop (cuz he isn'treally licensed yet but he wants to like...expand his shop and so on). He is weird but he actually just wants to help people out.

He is a Drow and a Artificer/Alchemist. (And yes, elves don't have facial hair, this was an alchemy oopsie. X) Also: side note to this: I just kinda screwed around while sketching, and I thought a beard looked good on him. So this is how he got a little more backstory then lol.)

He's missing his left arm, has a prosthetic himself (Which was a pain to draw cuz I'm not doing well with robotics, even though I love robotics in general. Just drawing them is hard man...)

His goggles protect his eyes from dying in the sun.

Also also: He is doing pretty well in our current campaign and I love it!

(I'm planning to try and draw him a little homunculus servant. Which...is robotics again buuut I need to practise somehow right?)

love that haircut 100 album cause like while a lot of new wave has funk and jazz lil sprinklings on it i love how they just revel in it like i love how lemon firebrigade is literally just a instrumental aside from the lil sung part its soooo goood and especially perfect listening to on LP on my nice sound system ^_^ like glad that i experience the album first on LP b4 picking up a CD i kinda feel awakened to llistening to music on LP now. like just getting real comfy w. it ^_^ also in the morning i was so pissed off just stressed wasnt able to get any sleep really cause of dendy peeing and my room smelling awful and then right after that my dads dog lucas threw up and i cleaned it up and let him out but was just exhausted but after that i relaxed and listened to reach out by burt bacharach and then listened to goldfinger score by john barry and played spartan x while listening to it it worked so well since like spy music and martial arts go well together especially with the games obvious game of death influence so that was fun. also since that game is great. buut it was suuuper relaxing putting burt bacharach on and resting my eyes and falling asleep to it :> gonna rly gonna try to get more records in the future and just have a lot of my fav albums on record and maybe even look for like expensive stuff thats my fav like b2 unit and 70s miles davis and stuff liiiike that. tho also i think from now on im gonna try to listen to everything i buy for the store b4 taking it in. im too lazy at listening to music digitally like on spotify or on yt like i just lag so im gonna try to listen to all the records b4 one to check that they dont skip and two to just get more knowledgee :) abt the world beyond just names n stuff. and three also its good to not just take them immediately after cause lots of time the boss doesnt have cash in his register when i go since its like right after they open so its better for me to wait more towards the middle of the day or second half :) saturdays haul was reallly really gooood and im excited to see how it goes from here on out. especially saturdays where im gonna go to two back to back. regretting i didnt listen to some of those albums i got previously buuut from now ill try to do that and like if things continue for the foreseeable future ill probably run into the same albums i found previously so like ill be able to hear them eventually. this job is rly dope i hope it doesnt end and things get better both for me and the store. cause like ya the pay obv isnt consistent and based on how muhc work i put in which is a nice challenge but obv with its disadvantages so like im hoping i continue to find great stuff and eventually it goes to where i can work in the store again and do both. its fun going w/ my uncle and my grandma but i also hope i can drive there alone i nthe future so idont feel too reliant on ppl and also so that i can go at my own pace n stuff. rn i can definitely drive to and from the one i go to thursdays but the saturdays one are tricky and ill have to look up more on google maps. tho yesterday was soooo goood like i found so much great stuff and felt real proud about my finds ^_^

This is Day my friend Day of pastex fame. Hes an OC from my still yet to be drawn Comic and hes been im existence for. Since November 2022 WOW. okay. Anyway he looked totally different back then tho

He used to have color changing hair. rip proto day's hair u will be missed. ANYWAY thats not important, who is day NOW?

WELL he is a gunslinging organ seller from an unincorporated settlement (<- Takes a lot of explaining, basically there was a giant war n now the world is in a nuclear winter. Theres one main city, Koro, that incorporates the smaller settlements into itself in exchange for the ppl in it to work for them). Day's old town was bought by Koro, so he kinda hates them now.

Previously, he had a little brother, Ico. Day was suuuuper protective of Ico and a little insane abt him- the village they lived in was totally isolated since it was on top of a mountain and the entire base was surrounded by high levels of radiation. The top, where they lived, was safe but they couldnt go anywhere. Because of this there werent a ton of other kids in the village so ig Day put all his energy into being a good older brother. Except he actuallt wasnt his overprotectiom was actually a little too excessive and got in the way of anything Ico ever wanted to do. Buuuut Ico was really deep into being a victim so he went along with it. They genuinely did care for eachother as brothers its just they were both reaaally unwell just in general

After Day + Ico's village was bought, Day was suuuper not into that and didnt want he or his brothers life to be boight and yo become employees for Koro. Their dad was one of the advisors to the mayor who had insisted on agreeing to the contract, so Day killed him and ran away with his brother at age like. 12 I like. Ico was 9? idk I just know they were kids.

While escaping, they got in a fight with someone from Koro. Ico kept running and Day's words, while Day stayed back and took on the guard. The guy was kinda weak and was also caught by surprise so Day did end up beating him, but during the fight the guard had stabbed into Day's right shoulder. Day crawled forward, trying to escape, but that ended up just pulling the knife further. It ended up going all the wau from his right shpulder down to his left knee, where it stabbed fully through. His calf ended up having to be amputated, which Day and Ico then ate as a means to get by.

Buuut, the radiation hadnt been clearned fully at that point. Part of the contract was that Koro would clear the radiation with technology unattainable to the village, but it took time to do and it was only partially done. Both of them got sick from it, but Ico- being younger and of weaker constitution- died. Not wanting his brother to die, too, he asked Day to eat the meat from his body so he wouldn't starve. Along with the radiation, a major factor in Ico's death was that neither of them had really eaten for multiple days.

Day ended up eating part of Ico, but he couldn't bring himself to eat the whole body so he just sat with it. The death was obviously very traumatizing for him so Day just. sat there. He couldn't think, he could't move, there was nothing he was able to do. The only reason he ran away was to help Ico, so what was he supposed to do now?

Maybe a two or three weeks later there had been a ton of complaints about two homeless kids out on the street, so a social guard came to do smth about it. At this point Ico had begun decaying and his face was totally sunken and rotted. Day was kinda in a trance at this point tho so he genuinely didnt notice. When the social guard came and teied to tak the rotting corpse away, Day got super angry and started clawing at the guard and screaming for him to stop. He actually ended up killing the guard, and mutilated his face so much he was totally unrecognizable.

Day, still in his dead brother trance, couldn't tell which corpse was Ico's and that totally broke him. He ran away and was found a day later in the snow by some people from an unincorporated settlement called Geludum. He had total amnesia about his brother n family, but he still remembered things like uis name and where he was from.

Day ended up living in Geludum in a communal home. As he got older he took on a few differemt jobs, and ended up getting really immerses in the black market. One thing that particularlt interested him there was a radiation bug (see previous post in #pastex for more info on bugs), bit it was SUUUPER expensive. He found a freshly dead corpse one day and since the snow actually kept organs viable for WAYYY longer than theu would usually be, he was able to sell them and make a hugeee profit. So that became his job !! He would aquire corpses and sell their bugs and organs to make money, eventually making enough for the radbug. He installed it himself and kept on living, selling organs n gettin into gunfights bcs he was selling organs, etc etc. Ended up getting a massive bounty on his head from all the everything.

And thats basically caught up to where the story starts !! Cant give you anything else w/o spoiling it (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧
