Not main tagging this cause it's rude I think but I am so close to muting the S.BG tag. I love that comic with all my heart, I love the fanart, the memes, the fics, everything, but y a l l
I like when fandoms grow because more people discover the media! But despite being thriller S.BG has drawn a younger audience. This ain't a bad thing I am technically "younger audience" but it is painfully clear that lots of us are very new to fandom. Y'all have GOT to learn to BLOCK AND MOVE ON. I cannot browse the tag without seeing people arguing over a WEBTOON and tagging people and hating on other users. Block and move on. Please. It is always better to block and move on
#Learned from experience took me a year and a half to be able to cut off people after an environment like that#Please do not make it a toxic corner of the internet it will backfire on yall so badly it does NOT EVER END WELL.#Rambles#May make a main tag post about it again#Already did months ago and lots of yall agreed with it and drama died out as others brought it to light#But the fandom has exploded#ATP may be unfollowing the tag#I don't want to unfollow people I love this fandom but why is there s.bg middle school drama on my page#I SHOULD BE STUDYING FOR THE EXAM IN LIKE AN HOUR OR WORKING ON OTHER POST#BUT FANDOM ETIQUETTE RAMBLE IN NOTES IT IS#I've been a rambling mood for two days now hence the horrifically long reblog rambles in linguistics tag o7

Looking at old drafts is so funny bc I always say I'm too tired for spite now, but then I look at things I was trying to create during the same time I said I was tok tired for spite and I have so many spite driven projects and stories. Jealousy plot, unrequited romance plot (made purely to spite the unrequited ships) and I never finished writing any of that, bc even back then spite can't motivate me as much as the delulu I got for my main ship 🤣🤣🤣🤣 and now that I'm looking at it, after I've reached my final(?) evolution as a multishipper and I'm finding that I def don't know how to write those stories. Bc even if the ship that's being unrequited isn't the main ship of the story, it's still one of My Ships. And like, even if I don't have them get together in this story, I can't make them go thru a whole unrequited longing yearning "the one that got away" vibes, purely bc like, I still ship them? Just not for this story? Like the ship didn't happen here bc it just didn't? The 2 parties weren't interested in each other? Either all my ships are romantically requited or they're platonically requited or they're just strangers.
#rambling rambling rambling#rambling#rambles#ramblings#just yapping about notes and drafts that will never see the light of day#this is after i had a whole discussion with friends about “wtf even is multishipping?”#and “am i fucking insane for thinking multishipping is [this] and not [that]?”#i would say that i was raised by asian fandom etiquette#but i only went to talk to my friends about this after feeling betrayed by kr and jp “multishippers”#its okay if i can tell which amongst all ur ships is ur main (positive)#but its def not okay if i can TELL which ship is your main amongst all ur ships (negative)#and there's A Difference

Fandom elitists are some of the most annoying people I swear man. "Too bad crappy modern music will make most of these AMVs in the contest forgettable" bro, amv's have always been made with modern music. How about you stop being a buzzkill and have fun while appreciating the hard work people put in.
It's the same energy of Sub vs Dub debates and the idea that new fans discovering something should be met with ridicule and insults. Let people have fun in fandom spaces without feeling the need to consistently police them.
#molten rambles#note: this goes double for people who harrass others#this does not#however#endorse people who ignore fandom etiquette#was watching a crowd reaction to an amv contest and dumb people had to be snobs

I fear that anyone who says stuff like “ugh atyd is awful because Remus is so ooc and Sirius is a misogynist and wolfstar are so toxic in it” not only a) has terrible fandom etiquette but b) MISSED THE WHOLE POINT
Atyd is not a story about Remus Lupin
Atyd is not a story about Wolfstar
Atyd is not a story about the First Wizarding War
Atyd is a story about class and privilege. Atyd is a story about queerness and comphet. Atyd is a story about disability. Atyd is a story about the intersectionality of class, privilege, queerness and disability. Atyd is a story about growing up and learning how to be a person. Atyd is a story about morality, sometimes being a ‘bad person’ and what this even means. Atyd is about war and grief and societal circumstances forcing your hand. Atyd is a story about emotionally driven decisions and how they affect the people we love. On that note, Atyd is a story about love, but in all its beautifully complex and messy shades, not fairytale romance.
All The Young Dudes is one of the most layered and nuanced works of fiction to ever exist and 99.9999% of criticisms I see of it can be boiled down to “tell me you lack media literacy without telling me you lack media literacy”
Also again, for the love of Remus Lupin, please please PLEASE stop publicly slating fanfictions. Everyone has personal taste and you won’t enjoy everything you read, but fics aren’t published works that have invited critique. They’ve been provided to you for FREE by a fellow nerd in the community so keep any negative thoughts you have on fics to your self.
I’m not saying everyone has to enjoy Atyd or that people can’t think that Remus is OOC etc. BUT the fic is not bad because it’s not to your personal taste and like I said, the overwhelming justifications I see for why people think it’s bad seem to entirely miss the point/ the fact that some of these choices are absolutely intentional from the author. Like, of course Sirius makes objectifying comments about Mary… he’s a teenage boy in the 1970s who is massively overcompensating to cover his queerness. A huge part of his character arc is comphet???
“We want complicated characters!” people scream until they see a seventeen year old kid on the precipice of fighting in a war for a society that has shunned him for his disability be moody and mean to his boyfriend
Anyway enough of me rambling. Long story short, I’m an ATYD defender until I die
Muchos love n wolfstar xo

Ask Me a Pop Culture Paganism/Magic Question Game
Link to my original ask game, where this is an expansion of! I had help from @jasper-pagan-witch for some questions, mostly in the PCM section! Thank you Jasper!
For this ask game, either copy/paste the whole question or note which section your number comes from!
Note: If you work with multiple folks or multiple sources, pick based on the ask and what you feel like answering most.
Remember, it's Tumblr etiquette to send at least one ask to who you reblog from!
POP CULTURE PAGANISM
Who is your favorite PCP entity you worship/work with?
What is your best / favorite experience with an entity?
Have you ever had a bad experience with an entity?
Who is your favorite character in fiction and would you consider working with them?
What's a character that you like in the canon/fiction but would never consider working with? Why? What's a character that you hate in the canon/fiction but would consider working with, or already work with? Why?
What headcanons about the entity you worship/work with do you love? What do you hate?
Have your own headcanons ever played a part in your PCP? Has others headcanons ever played a part in your PCP?
Does the fandom influence how you perceive or interact with your entity or PCP in any way? Does interacting with your entity or PCP influence how you perceive or interact with the fandom? Does the source influence how you perceive or interact with your entity or PCP in any way? Does interacting with your entity or PCP influence how you perceive or interact with the source?
Of who you work with, who is the most like their canon counterpart? Who is the least?
Are there any entities you don't talk about, but want to?
Are there any entities you're currently interested in?
What entity do you work with where you had to fill in the most blanks due to lack of canon information?
What entities do you worship but not work with? What entities do you work with but not worship?
Is there any fictional species/race that you already do or want to include into your practice?
If you had the choice, what fictional species would you want as a familiar or other form of spirit companion?
What's your main unverified personal gnosis about any entity you worship/work with?
Which entity surprised you the most when you began working with them? Why?
Who is someone where your experience went way different than expected? Who is someone where your experience went about how you expected?
Are any of your worked with entities comfort characters? Are any of your worked with entities discomfort characters? (Where they make you uneasy in some form or another.)
Are any of your worked with entities "controversial" so to speak in the fandom? Why? Are any of your worked with entities essentially fandom-wide blorbos?
How does your entity feel about the fandom and how it interprets them? Does your entity engage with fandom at all?
Do you primarily work with heroes, villains, anti-heroes, anti-villains, any other sort of thing, or any mix of the group? Would you ever consider working with someone outside of your usual type?
What's your favorite story about your entity? Least favorite? What's a story that doesn't actually fit them very well?
Do you pick and choose from pantheons or do you prefer to work with whole pantheons? Does your source even have a pantheon?
If you had the funds and means, what is the most extravagant offering you would give?
Quick! You need to write a short prayer to an entity!
Quick! Pick the first entity that comes to mind and ramble about them!
Quick! Tell the story of how you met your main entity!
Quick! Make up a headcanon for the fictional character based on your experience with the entity!

What's the main thing you engage with from your series? What thing do you barely engage with from your series?
What's a series you used to do PCP/PCM for but have since stopped? Why? Do you think you'll ever return to it?

Would you ever consider doing PCP/PCM based on fanfiction, or something like fanfiction?
What is the most intensive project you've undertaken involving one of your pop culture sources?
What's something from your series that just makes you cringe a little or a lot?

Rambled in the tags so I figured I'd ramble here since I didn't see an ao3 link and I'm not familiar enough with Patreon or Kofi to know if it has the leave comments/messages feature or what the etiquette for that there is. Our beloved hellsite is great for that.
Love your stories. Very comfy and relaxing, even the more intense storylines. Big "getting tucked into bed" vibes fantasy stories. Or reading in the woods like Frodo at the beginning of FotR.
The spacy ones are somewhat cerebral? All futury and yet so incredibly human. Fuck protocol indees.
And then like.... Action-y romance superhero stories. They don't revolve around secret identities... I'm realizing a lot of the hero/villain stuff I read specifically on tumblr doesn't as often revolve mainly around secret identities? Some to be sure, I wonder if miraculous ladybug fandom has taken over that niche? Thoughts for another time.
As I mentioned in the tags I'm a bit tired and the stories helped relax me. My cat helped some too ^_^
The superhero ones are delightful. I'm a sucker for romance. It feels bizarre compared to other romance stories, in all the best ways. It's all very soft and gradual. Almost the whole "fell first vs fell harder" and it seems many of your main characters are the fell harder. As if they had to come around and remember that they could be loved. Very burnout gifted kid mood with Demi vibes.
I dunno if there's a set rule to powers in your world(s). But I do so enjoy figuring out through the narrative what certain people can do. Getting just a specific peak into their lives. I don't mind or even really notice the first person. (My spouse has a hard time reading first person). But yeah, each one is also a little mystery in trying to piece together power sets and so on.
This is long and if you've read this far... Well I've posted stuff and love getting comments to note solely scream at a void. Thank you for sharing your stories!
Apologies for the late response and I saw your tags! I found them rather delightful, thank you for that! And for this ask as well, this made me smile a big, happy smile.
I am really very happy that you enjoy my stories! Writing brings me so much joy and happiness, that I always hope I can share that with someone who reads them. I hope that my stories can make someone feel better or make a boring day brighter or help someone bridge time as they wait for an appointment. I am very glad they give off such a lovely feeling! That's genuinely everything I could hope for!
I am very happy that I managed to write the alien and superhero stories well as well! They are a joy to write as well and I am glad that the way I write them makes for fun reading!
I am very happy that you could relax with my stories - and your lovely cat. Cats really are such sweet beings.
Haha yeah, I have a lot of "fell first vs fell harder" vibes in many of my stories. I often try to show and build a connection with the characters before love comes into play, which is very much a demi vibe and many characters are indeed almost surprised that they are loved by others. Or rather, by the person that they fell in love with in return.
There isn't really a rule that connects all the stories, it's more that powers have limits or prices or side-effects and it's up to the person who has them to figure out what to do with that. And those who have no magical or supernatural powers to speak off, they get to be clever and smart.
I'm very happy that you enjoyed my stories and thank you so much for all your kind words. It makes me happy to know that my stories are liked and that people had fun reading them.

【Multifandom】 Sen's Doujinshi Collection: Misc Rambles
Sen's Ship Doujinshi Collection
FGO: LimGuda (Douman x Ritsuka) 💚🧡🐈⬛🍊
Magi: JuAli (Judar x Alibaba) 🖤❤️💛🐈⬛☀️
KagePro: KuroEne (Kuroha x Ene) 🖤💙🐍🐇
LimGuda, JuAli, and KuroEne are the main ships I've collected ship doujinshi for. This includes SFW and NSFW doujinshi.
I have most of KuroEne's fanarts and web-doujinshi, and JuAli's fanarts and physical doujinshi in my hands. This is because most of their ship fan-artists in EA fandoms were active around 2013 - 2016, so I managed to get my hands on them.
Kid me was a master archiver. So ty to them 🙏
I remember I saved tons of KagePro EA/JP artists' KuroEne fanarts and web doujinshi from back when I was a kid. I have most of KuroEne's fanarts and web doujinshi. I saved at least 80 - 90% of their old fanarts back then, and I still have access to them in my files.
I've also collected most of Magi EA/JP artists' JuAli doujinshi physically, as well.
I have the majority of KuroEne and JuAli's ship fanarts and doujinshi archived, including a lot of stuff that's been deleted off the face of the internet.
I've collected the majority of LimGuda's doujinshi, but these artists are very active in the EA/JP fandom, so I will NOT be posting them publically, out of respect for them. LimGuda is a very recent niche popular ship with very active fans in the EA/JP fanbase.
You can ask me about my LimGuda doujins, though, and I can send pictures privately when I have the time.
I have most of the KuroEne ones translated (and I'm still planning to translate some), and I'm planning to translate the JuAli ones at some point.
However, for JuAli and KuroEne, many of the artists who have made these doujins are no longer active in the fandom and/or have deactivated their accounts/deleted their works.
So, because of this, I'm not sure if I should post doujinshi scans and translations, cuz the KuroEne ones are web-doujins from Pixiv that I saved like 10 years ago back when I was a kid (that are now deleted). And JuAli's doujinshi are physical ones I've collected.
Generally, the fandom/artist etiquette is to NOT reprint/repost any artists' works without explicit permission. You should ask for permission if you want to reprint/repost any artists' works, and ask for permission if you want to translate any works.
I feel like there's a gray area with doujinshi culture, specifically, when it comes to translating old fandom doujinshi by artists who deleted their socials and works, who are no longer in the fandom and deactivated their accounts.
Cuz out of personal experience, I know that for KHR, one of my series interests, people sharing and fan-scanlating KHR doujinshi made things more accessible for fans of the ship.
Sharing doujinshi translations means making the ship more accessible to other fans, but, I'm also not sure...
I think one option I could do is to post it, but disable reblogs, so if I ever need to take down the posts out of respect for these artists, then I can do that. That way, if I ever need to take the post down, then it doesn't leave traces in the form of reblogs.
If I do this, I'm gonna very explicitly put a note saying to NOT repost these artists' works anywhere else, and to NOT repost my translations, either.
You can enjoy them, save them, take screenshots privately for personal enjoyment, but don't post them anywhere else.
Normally, I wouldn't tag my misc rambles (posts that aren't focused on talking about a chara or ship), but I also wanna see what fans of these ships think.
Cuz I could just keep these privately and just have people send me a DM if they want to see the TLs of these doujins that I've stored on my own Notion pages. But it's also inconvenient to send a private Notion page link everytime and keep track of who I've given permission to. I feel like making a public post on Tumblr would be more suitable
I want to share things for the sake of accessibility and enjoyment for these ships' fans but I'm also still unsure...
If you have any other ideas and suggestions, you can let me know your thoughts! ^^

A tool made for a purpose is not demeaned by being used for that purpose. an independent portrayal of Moiraine Damodred from Cairhien, Aes Sedai, advisor of the Dragon Reborn, as written by Lyn ( '96, she / her ). Selective, private, and exclusively affiliated with @trachho's Rand Al'Thor.
i . You may still know me from @asynjja and @conzierge. I'm a huge nerd when it comes to rambling about the concept of fate in books and while I unfortunately no longer read as much as during my high school years, my winter break has come and I'm huddled up with The Eye of The World, so of course I had to make a low-activity roleplay account for my short queen with dark brown eyes.
ii . General rp etiquette applies. I'm a fairly chill person with a questionable interest in making my muses suffer, as such I typically allow mild versions of godmodding if it makes sense. I follow blogs for two reasons : a . to interact, and b . to read. I welcome people rambling about their muses at any time of day and prefer that vastly over smalltalk or an awkward "Hi :)" in my IMs. I'll try my best to initiate the first conversation! But if all else fails, you can just break the ice by sending me a meme.
iii . I work full-time as a lab assistant! Most replies will come queued for the sake of my sanity and also to minimize post dumping whenever I do end up writing. This blog will be of low activity, my discord servers typically come first, and while I can offer discord as a platform to plot and/or potentially write, I greatly prefer tumblr IMs at the moment.
iv . I write Moiraine as semi-openly bisexual, as in : she doesn't deny being attracted to women but is not in a position to have a stable dating life. I will not write her as "mothering" Rand. I know that the more popular version of their relationship in the fandom is platonic-familial, and I will tag any romantic content written with @trachho with age gap cw if requested. On that note, I will neither write romantic nor sexual content with muses or muns below the age of 18 and vastly prefers mutuals to be over twenty-one.
v . As for triggers, I tag the most common ones if graphically described or reblogged as pictures with trigger cw. You don't have to give me any explanation on why you would like something tagged if we're mutuals. Likewise, I would like to refrain from pregnancy plots altogether and would prefer if my mutuals tagged pictures of clowns lol? I'm otherwise open to darker subjects in writing as long as they're thoroughly dealt with and typically prefer not to put anything under a readmore.
vi . Other fantasy fandoms I'm part of are : Lord of the Rings, including Rings of Power, A Song of Fire and Ice ( I've only read the first book though ), The Mists of Avalon, Bartimaeus, Elric of Melniboné, Baldur's Gate, Diablo, The Elder Scrolls ( joke's on me, I've only played ESO ) ... and I'm willing to adapt to anything if given the opportunity to!
vii . That's it. <3 Seven is my favourite one-digit number, please make sure to drink a warm cup of tea in these trying times. <3

◢◣Welcome!◢◣
Greetings from me, Tap!! I’m a self-taught multifandom artist, amateur webmaster, and abstract character designer. I (plan to) post things like complete pieces, digital paintings, wips, design processes, ramblings, headcanons, maybe even trinkets I collect! We’ve got it all!!!!
Fun fact: I don’t have a pc, everything I do is on iPad.
I’ve decided expand my presence to tumblr for multiple reasons.
The Instagram algorithm is absolute ass, and trying to please it is quite impossible.
I wanted to share more things that don’t fall under the “finished pieces” umbrella that I couldn’t really post before. I mean I DO post stuff like that on my spam account, but only 2 people and a rock see it.
When it comes to my more obscure interests, it’s easier to find folk with said interests on here than probably anywhere else.
I am now cringe i am now free
Fandoms (my taste is all over the place):
Current fixations:
Starlight Express, Splatoon, Cult of the Lamb, Chonny Jash
Other notable fixations/fandoms:
Camp Here & There
Cuphead
Deltarune
ENA
Ghosts (BBC)
Good Omens
OMORI
Ooblets
Our Flag Means Death
Re-Animator
Ride the Cyclone
Slime Rancher
Yume Nikki
Music I find quite enjoyable:
Cojum Dip
DEVO
Food House
Graham Kartna
Lemon Demon
Logan Whitehurst
LuLuYam
Miracle Musical
Oingo Boingo
Pink Floyd
Talking Heads
Tally Hall
The Caretaker
Will Wood

#mjs trinkets - For sharing trinkets I find/own (this tradition originated from my insta spam account).
#taps asks - Asks. Yea.
CWs
My art can sometimes contain subjects such as eyestrain, body horror and gore. Posts with these won’t be too frequent and will be CW’d, so don’t worry too much! But I just wanted to give a heads up.
Things to Note:
What I draw is heavily based on what my autism fixates on. I wouldn’t recommend following for just one fandom since what I draw can very heavily fluctuate.
I have like. 8742578 different art styles. It fluctuates a lot and I’m always trying new shit out.
Feel free to draw fanart of any of my blorbos !!! Just don’t be weird. No NSFW or anything like that.
As of right now I’m new to Tumblr. Being autistic makes it kinda hard to learn UI/website etiquettes, so please be patient with me !!!
If there’s any problems with the custom theme, pls let me know!! I know there’s not too many drastic CSS changes but still. Plus I’m pretty sure the theme doesn’t even show up on mobile so fuck it we ball
If I ever wake up one day and think “damn this intro sucks ass”, i will update it.
Thanks for reading, enjoy your stay !!

Since I'm sure there will be a lot of new people from Twitter, I want to personally say welcome, but also please don't make the shipping wars any worse. Lol
You can do that by tagging correctly, blocking people you don't like, and muting tags that upset you. Tags are like folders. When people tag correctly, it's like opening a book with only the things you like on an endless school. Very handy.
Are you making a post about your favorite ship? Excellent! Tag it correctly. Do not tag a bunch of irrelevant tags as that's considered spamming. Your tags should look like:
#shipname #charactera #characterb #whatever else you want that is actually related to the post
By the way, this isn't twitter. Tags can have spaces in them. You can write a whole ass paragraph almost. It's enouraged to do so!
Also, this isn't TikTok. "Unalive" and other censored words for the "algorithm" are dumb and pointless. There is no algorithm. Use the right words so that people can filter what they don't want to see.
Are you writing a negative post about a ship you don't like? Well that's a waste of time but you do you, just tag it correctly. Your tag should like like:
#anti-ship #dont mention the ship in any other way! It could pop up in their tags when those shippers are trying to do their own thing
Don't cross post KNOWING your post can upset someone. Don't play coy. Don't play dumb. Don't start drama on purpose. If you're bored and want some action, why not get a real hobby instead of fighting on the internet?
If a tag is meant for a platonic ship, then you should find the proper romantic ship version of that name. If another character or pairing has nothing to do with your post, then keep it in your pants and don't tag them. It's rude and could earn you some blocks.
That is the proper tagging etiquette for tumblr.com. You can mute any tag you want by visiting your settings and adding a tag to filtered tags and/or filtered content.
Anon hate is a thing of the past. Grow up. You can send anonymous or faced questions to almost any blog you want. You can also turn off that feature entirely if you don't like it.
If you don't like someone, you can select the three dots on top of their posts and block them. You can save yourself a headache if you learn to curate your experience~
Here in Tumblr, there is no reliable algorithm. More than likely, Tumblr won't be showing everyone posts that are relevant to them automatically. You'll have to visit the tags yourself to see what you want to see.
If YOU LOVE SOMETHING, REBLOG IT. Likes work like bookmarks here on tumblr.com. Everyone appreciates likes on their posts, but sadly, that's all it is. A post can die in the sea of irrelevance if no one reblogs it.
You know all those cool popular posts you see with thousands of notes? They only got like that because thousands of people reblogged it.
Do your artist friends, writer friends, and normal friends a favor by reblogging their posts and spreading the good word~. If you consistently reblog good posts on a consistent basis, you'll likely find yourself some cool followers as well who have the same interests as you.
By the way, while you can be a little well known here in Tumblr, you'll never have any clout. Give up now before you even begin. Everyone is an equal here. We're all just fans being fans of whatever content we're consuming that day alright? There are famous people on here, but unless they're chill and breezy, people will tend to chase them away anyway.
Do you want separate your personal blog from your fan blog? Well no need to make a new account, you can just add a sideblog and it's practically the same thing. You only have to log in once. I have at least a dozen active side blogs for every new interest I get very invested in. Great for organization and keeping your main blog for your personal rambles and posts.
By the way, there's no need to tell everyone your name, your phone number, your address etc. This site is anonymous. Enjoy the anonymity! Let yourself be a faceless fan among other faceless fans, keep your personal details safe and private.
And finally, don't be a creepy weirdo. That's pretty self explanatory. If your are a creepy weirdo, stop while you're ahead. You know you're gonna get caught and ousted. You aren't slick, you're just a weirdo.
That is all. This is meant for the Stranger Things fandom but it can be applied to any fandom. Hope this helps.

Okay, so I've had a bit of time to think on it (not that it bothered me that much, but I did want to try and clarify some things), and a sort of 'follow up' to this post in particular.
A little rambly, so under the cut.
Note that this isn't to talk about that specific anon or the specific issue involved in it, it's just a jumping off point, more or less.
I think people do need a bit of a reminder about 'parasociality' and the boundaries that tend to get ignored/eroded because of it.
To get right to the meat of the issue:
I'm ace. I have a complicated relationship with sex and sexual content. I feel bad when I have to bring up these parts of my identity when explaining these things, but I provide them to sort of give you a better perspective as to why some stuff may not be good to say to me. Why I take them a bit personally.
The long and short of it is, I'm really only comfortable with jokes and the like when either I am the one to publicly initiate, or it's happening between my own friends, in a comfortable environment.
It's why I tend to not let some stuff I tag with 'suggestive' to be reblogged, because that's just not what I want to be spread around and get people making the wrong assumptions about me.
Obviously there's nuance and yadda yadda sometimes exceptions, etc. But this is where I stand, and will not budge, because of a history of people continuously being entitled to the point they think they can disregard my requests to respect this.
So, tying this into the whole 'parasocial' aspect.
Yeah, I'm very casual and chatty, I like to be friendly to you all and I enjoy seeing your commentary and stuff, even if I don't always respond--Honestly wish there was a way to 'like' replies like on twitter, cause I usually use it as an indicator of 'I've seen this and it made me smile :>'
But. And this a big but. That is not an open invitation for you to jump straight to telling me things like "I put your OC in a smash or pass discord channel" or things of a similar nature. That's a bit too much of a boundary break.
Like, removing the context, how weird does it sound for you to tell somebody (who doesn't know who you are) that you put their character in a channel where people rate their desire to 'smash' or 'pass'? It definitely sounds weird to me, and I sure as hell wouldn't say it to somebody I barely even know.
I'm a bit skittish to begin with, so it's definitely not easy for me to loosen up and be comfortable interacting with new people, but stuff like this makes me withdraw back into my shell, so to speak.
I don't mind starting up convos, and if it seems like I'm actively engaging in the dialogue, then you have nothing to worry about, but this also isn't an invitation for Every Single Person to hit me up.
On the internet where those boundaries aren't as visibly noticeable--I can't give you body language to show my mood, for instance--It's very easy to not see that stuff, but I really think people need to take a few moments to consider if they're assuming too much about their relationship with somebody before saying something.
I've heard horror stories about even worse shit happening in the fandom, and it makes me glad y'all are so respectful as it is, which is why I'm not getting boiling mad or anything over this stuff, cause I'm sure you'll listen and understand.
And as far as that specific scenario linked goes: I don't care what y'all discuss about my OCs or my stuff between friends/in private spaces and all that. Out of sight, out of mind. You don't need to tell me, and I'm not gonna Thought Crime you.
The issue I'm taking is with the assumption of things, to the point I do need to go on these several-paragraph rambles, when stuff like that I feel should be basic etiquette.
I love y'all and I am happy people enjoy my things, but please let me stress that as far as interaction with y'all goes, I'm really not that much different from a streamer or something. I'm just a person doing a thing, and people like that thing.
Sorry this got a little long-winded, but I hope I at least made my point, and I'll stress again I'm not mad or anything. It's just been on my mind, so I might as well talk about it.

I forgot that most people generally make intro posts
Uhhh
Hi! As my description says I go by the alias Gooby online <:) so when referring to me I’m happy with that, pronouns atm are they/them, gender is TBD and sexual identity is unlabeled, maybe queer. I’m 21, pls take note of that when interacting with my blog, thank u!
I mostly like to post/peruse on tumblr for fandom art, so most of my posts will be multi-fandom/interactions with mutuals.
I’m currently a Multimedia student exploring various mediums of art, but generally I’ve transferred from physical art to digital, so you’ll find that stuff from me mostly.
If it isn’t obvious I like HLVRAI and RTVS atm, but if I get inspired to I’ll draw for other fandoms I’m into (like block-game YouTubers or gay Lego bricks)
If you find I don’t tag things correctly please lmk, I’m still new to tumblr etiquette.
I generally ramble a lot without, even saying anything worth saying, so heads up for that.
I’ll cya on the inter-webs, cheers ❤️👍🏻

SAL INTRODUCTION!
My name is Sal (or if youre feeling silly, Saline) and it's a part of the contact/saline naming gimmick i have going on here,,,
This blog is (surprisingly or not) my sideblog for glee posting, specifically Huntbastian. Sometimes I write fics, I plan on posting doodles, but I mainly just note down headcanons or AUs or rambles because that's what I do best!
General stuff
he/him and MAYBE she/her is ok
I'm still in highschool (i do a LOT of projecting, especially with Dalton because my school is most similar to it)
I've never been really good at/concerned with making online friends and its generally hard for me to retain site-specific etiquette, which I know is big on Tumblr so pls be patient w me if I do something silly 😢😢
Some other things I like but will probably not post about include Night at the Museum, Ted Lasso, Community, Arrested Development, The Good Place, Be More Chill, Vocaloid, Saiki K, and Danganronpa
Blog stuff
Again, glee-centric and mainly huntbastian/Dalton Academy things. I can only stand teenage boys when they are fictional
saline problems - tag for my thoughts especially long/more articulate ones
saline fics - tag for the occasional fics i've written for funsies (nothings there yet ill have to go back thru my posts to tag em)
I AM NOT REGULARLY ACTIVE ON THIS BLOG!! I like Glee a lot, but multiple fandoms rotate through my mind like a merry go round and i don't often focus on one fandom in depth at once. I am but a sleeper agent whilst huntbastian is my activation phrase.

@chloeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee hi welcome to tumblr FINALLY!
i'm so so glad you're on here, it was kinda made for you ngl. anyway, here's the basic rundown of how it works here.
ANATOMY OF TUMBLR POSTS:
above you can see the average tumblr post. starting along the bottom are the 5 main buttons you'll see under every tumblr post. from left to right they are the notes button, the share button, the reply button, the reblog button, and the like button. the share button is rarely ever used so i'm not going to cover that.
the notes button: notes are the combined amounts of replies, reblogs, and likes a certain post has. clicking on the notes button will open the replies section and then you can switch between viewing the replies, the reblogs, and the likes. you can also view the spread of the post by clicking on the cluster of four circles. the reply button: this is speech bubble button. it'll open up to what is the comments sections of tumblr. it's like less-used version of tags (more on those later).
the reblog button: the most important button on a post hands-down. reblogging is how tumblr posts stay alive. it's how posts get circulated and it's a way to show the op that you enjoyed what they had to say. when you reblog a post, it appears on your blog when people scroll through it. most of my blog (and the majority of everyone on tumblr's blogs) are made up of reblogs. i think reblogging is neat because it shows what you're interested to anyone who finds your blog like a little bulletin board! so use reblogs whenever you find a post you like or think is cool. the like button: exactly what it sounds like. likes are less important here on tumblr (reblogs are the equivalent of likes) so you don't ever have to like posts. i do it as a reflex but whatever works for you.
another important part of a tumblr post are the tags. these are the little words under the actual post itself that start with #. tags are used to sort posts into categories like fandoms and topics that are talked about in the post. they're also used to express your own thoughts about the og post. so tags can look like this:
or this:
don't be afraid to just ramble, that's what the site's for. don't tag spam either, which is adding tags to a post that have no connection to the post itself. it's against the tos and just make everything messier. OTHER ADVICE:
block any tumblrs you don't like: nsfw tumblrs, porn bots, homophobic and transphobic blogs, and anyone you just don't like it. it's not personal and no one will take it as such. tumblr is about creating your own little space in the internet that's just for you and you can't do that without getting rid of the stuff you don't like. you can also block tags you don't want to see
make friends! reblog posts and add your own ideas in the tags or the reblogs. send asks to blogs you think are cool. yell things you like about posts in the tags. tumblr is weird because it doesn't have an algorithm and requires you to actually interact with posts and blogs to get stuff on your dash. so do it! some of the funniest, kindest people i know are my mutuals (or moots) on tumblr. the community on here is really great so take advantage of it.
search up #tumblr guide and #tumblr etiquette for more info on how to navigate this hellsite because i definitely did not cover anything.
most importantly be safe and have fun! i'm really glad you're on tumblr. hopefully, you'll soon love it like i do.
First post, kinda nerv
might as well introduce myself.
Hi, I’m Chloe, your local transfem catgirl :3
I like cats. And Blahaj’s.
My fav fandoms are gravity falls (I’m literally Pacifica), warrior cats (I’m literally cinderheart), heart stopper (I’m literally Elle), and spider verse (I’m literally Gwen)
Im probably just gonna rant about gender and dysphoria but also like metaphors and stuff
Because gender is a performance and sometimes you just don’t feel like it ❤️
But also just random silly stuff that pops into my head
Yay!
Byeeee ~
#veero rambles#moots patoots#long post#i've been working this for the better part of today#ended up being much longer than expected#oh well#irl on tumblr aaah#this is so exciting

I don’t quite get why people get so defensive when someone simply points out that LXC is directly responsible for his brother’s punishment. Because he is. LXC is the sect leader. It’s ultimately his decision. However, it’s up to the readers to decide how to feel about it. Some may find it too charitable. Others might cheer him up for it. Personally, I think it’s not his proudest moment. I doubt he feels good about it. It happens. As to 33 wronged “grandpas”, 1) they were senior disciples whose actual age is unknown, and 2) we don’t really know what they intended to do if someone who’s not a raging psychopath had to fight them. That cave scene is pretty vague. We don’t know how the fight actually started only that it did. Were they going to kill WWX? To kill both of them? I dunno. In any case, my sympathies are ultimately with someone who got his back flayed open which took 3 years to recover. I feel like whoever inflicted the punishment is pretty damn fine, they got their justice. But ymmv 💁♀️
????? ok?
#where. who. what??#anon the ''just make your own post'' energy is off the charts here like. what did u need me here for you could have just made your own post#KJSDHJSKFF anyway#in a more serious note: it's clear we're working on VASTLY different understandings about the setting and as you said each person#is welcome to have their own interpretation of it#it's just that this whole argument biold down to ''physical punishemnt is bad'' WHICH IT IS BUT#why.... are you expecting a xianxia novel to follow modern rules#i'm analyzing this stuff through eyes of the setting itself to which. no. none of what you said makes sense#but like u do u bestie#though. again. WHY DIDNT YOU JUST MAKE YOUR OWN POST?? most of my followers arent gonne agree with you. who wins with this??#oh wait are u new on tumblr? that'd make sense actually#if so yes hello o/ i hope this wasnt our first interaction but if it is know i'm not mad or anything just confused lmao#i understand wanting to have your opinion have a bigger reach by making another blog post it for you but like. this isn't it friend#i'm not gonna make this reblogabble either so. really not a great move#fandom etiquette! you do you and i do me!#i'm just rambling now. anyways feel free to talk off-anon if you'd like too!#modao#lace speaks

hihi, not that it matters much because your art always gets a ton of notes anyways, but you should save the ramblings under your art til the end. the first five tags are the most important so those should be the ones that say critical role, fanart, etc etc. thats all have a good day!
shrugs. i ramble a lot and i’m just like—so long as the fandom tags are on there somewhere it doesn’t really matter to me, so i just do whatever. i usually always see my posts in the cr tags anyways, so i don’t really care about my tag placement.
i put my ramblings at the top so people know i have additional things to say, whereas if i put them below no one will notice they’re there unless they care enough to open ‘em. other times i don’t care if people read them or not, but the beauty of tag commentary is they’re optional to look at and more subtle than saying things out loud in replies lol
#yeah.#idk does it matter?#u say ‘because your art gets a ton of notes anyways’ so i’m like. is the concern just that my posts won’t show up in tags or that they’re#just too much for someone looking at my post’s tags...??#i’m not being mean i’m just curious lol#bc if it’s the first one: like i said i usually see my posts in the tags anyways so it’s fine#if the latter: technically so long as they’re on there it’s fine. if someone’s curious abt the fandom i’m drawing for and tries to look in#the tags they’ll see it eventually lmao#idk i’ve also been operating by putting my tags in the top since i started tumblr 3 yrs ago so i’m used to it. y’all are prob used to it#from me#or is that just like general tumblr etiquette#i haven’t been on tumblr for too long no one tells me these things jkHDKDN#LMAO IDK SEE I’M RAMBLING NOW LOL#damn don’t make me self conscious about my tags now 🥵#anyways#casu asks
