#when i got hashtag sick i was in hospital and i was doing my regularly scheduled call with my dad #and i really had no plans of telling him bc ive done that before and its not like he can scare the MS away or anything #i dont know what happened. maybe because it was such a fucking bad episode. maybe because i was so tired. maybe it was a secret 3rd thing #but one minute was like fine then i just burst into tears and i was crying so hard which is MEGA EW BC IM NOT A CRIER LIKE THAT #and my dad freaked out and he was like whats wrong and i didnt wanna tell him but I also sounded insane bc i spontaneously started sobbing #and he was getting more alarmed and i was upset that id upset him and so i just spat it out i was like 'listen king'#'its no biggie but my body is trying to kill me again and im just a little sad atm' and he replied 'baba why wouldnt you tell me?'#and this man who has a very big serious job literally dropped everything and took a 20 hr flight over #and he genuinely just grabbed one of his work suitcase because he showed up with nothing but dress shirts and his laptop #and i think maybe it healed me a little. i mean it def also made me sad too but mostly healed me #and he'd been here for a couple of weeks and he left today and i feel shit about being sad about it #again because he has a very big and very serious job and i genuinely dont understand how he even just showed up like that #so I felt guilty throughout #anyway i dont think he drinks anymore but i was like king have a sip of wine with me and he did and it was lovely #and I hope I become my fathers daughter and not my mother's child. praying to both our gods #heres to healing ❤️‍🩹

I’m fully in love with Jemima, but I don’t really count her as fully ensemble, just because of her multiple solos, and because of that, Pouncival is my favorite ensemble cat :)

He’s just the silliest ever, and I’m 100% obsessed. I love the way he’s hanging with the girls in skimbelshanks (the girls and pouncival™️), and me and my friends had a running joke for a while that was literally just iterations of “the girls, the gays, and pouncival <3”

🎬. What’s your favorite moment from the show?:

Moments of Happiness, 1998, specifically Jemima’s solo. It’s so perfect, ethereal, emotional, and whimsical. I can play it on the piano, and I can sing it :] it also makes me cry

I’m not entirely sure what this means, but I’m a huge fan of Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer as siblings, PLUS Electra as their kid sister. I came up with it once and I think it’s super cute :D

Monochromatic siblings are a must, they’re also very special to me, along with Jennyanydots and Skimbleshanks as brother and sister :)

if the rumors are true (the rumors being facts that people know about curt’s fate because he was a real life human being who lived and uh. died.) and curt’s death is happening this early on in the series, then literally the only thing that will get me to keep watching is if episode three ends with bucky realizing that curt is dead and staring off into space with the same empty longing that he stared at curt with when he rode away in the back of that truck, which is the same stare that he gave him when he first saw him alive after the mission, and will now be the stare that he gives whenever curt’s name is mentioned and he’s reminded that he’s lost the only person in the world that could get him to feel something.

and then, and this is important, i need episode four in its entirety to be a flashback of their time at bootcamp in walla walla. for curt’s death to matter, i need to see whatever earned curt such a tender spot in bucky’s heart. i need to see their shenanigans and get to know their inside jokes and i need to see all of their time spent together (how many other times have they snuck off on their own? when was the first?)

if they want to give curt’s death the weight that it deserves, i need to watch bucky fall in love with him. and then i need to see it brought to the present. show us the kiss they shared after curt threw that punch and knocked feeling back into bucky. show us the lighthearted drunken kisses that bucky left on curt’s cheek after giving those british bastards what they asked for. show us the tiny moment of intimacy that they got to share before this final mission. show us a last kiss that they don’t know is their last kiss, softened by curt joking, always joking, that he’ll be bucky’s guardian angel when this is all over.

and then, and only then, we can return to bucky in the present, learning what it means for it to be all over.

trying to practice restraint by not speaking about it but taeyong’s situation specifically has gotten so out of hand seeing the vilest shit being alleged between him and his sister and the swarm of death threats sent directly to him and his family after a random instagram story from half a year ago of a now confirmed censored single volume of a popular anime. extrapolating from a photo he took of some fucking shoes he was gifted saying hes read and promoted eleven volumes of uncensored whatever without fact checking anything/going off hearsay is so insane? and trying to lump all 4/5 idols in the same way without any nuance or even care for victims of these abuses is just irresponsible. i’m not here to justify or speak on the contents of the original anime itself because i haven’t read it but the way misinformation and crazy uncritical mob behavior functions on stan twitter/tumblr without any critical thinking is disgusting and also makes the content of what’s being criticized completely frivolous. it’s disgusting!

I find it kind of silly that so many of those "time based life rule" sayings are like ~deep serious guidelines~ of some sort, but then there's that one other Well Known Rule that's just like "hrmm can I eat something off of the ground or not"

#the duality of human condition.. two biggest concerns in the modern era are attempts at self fulfilling productivity #and also 'if i drop my sandwich can i still eat it :('#Also while capitalism is often linked with/the source of hyper productivity culture - note that I do not mean the images in that context #'meaningful to you' does not have to mean 'productive within a capitalist system'. The point is not 'every waking hour of every day #must be spent in the most societally productive grinding mindset hyper efficency mode possible' but more like #if you've always wanted to learn french ever since you were a kid and you think it would be fulfilling to you (just because you like it #absent of any larger purpose like using it for a job/monetizing it somehow/etc.). and you've just spent like 5 hours straight on tiktok #or something mindlessly scrolling the internet. maybe someimtes it'd help for your own personal fulfillment in the long #run to try to - the next time you have 5 spare hours - work on learning french or something that is actually significant to you #as a person and that you'll be glad you worked towards. instead of weeks and weeks passing by and feeling you have nothing to show for it #or etc. AAANYWAY. The images/rules themselves are also NOT the main point of this post. More just the juxtaposition of them together #and the fact that 3 of them are serious seeming while one is so mundane it seems silly in comparison.#BUT even though they're not the main point . I still didn't want it to come across as if I was like promoting or buying into capitalist #productivity culture propaganda or etc. I don't find productivity tips like this inherently bad as long as they're kind of divorced from #those ideas. I think it's still important in life to have goals even if those goals exist outside of the typical expected framework.#I mean that's actually part of why a culture of chronically exhausted overworked deprived people is damaging because if you #'re forced to spend 85% of your waking time working at some job that is perosnally meaningless to you that brings you nothing that #youre only doing under threat of starvation and houselesness and etc. then of course you don't have much time for hobbies or things you car #about and of course you'll feel more aimless and personally unsatisfied and like life is not fulfilling or interesting.#Productivity and efficiency is GOOD actually. as long as it's able to be directed in ways that are actually meaingful to the community or #individual and bring some sort of feeling of fulfillment or progress or accomplishment and working towards a person's personal ideas #of happiness whatever those are. rather than just working away aimlessly so some guy you don't know can buy a 20th house or etc. etc.#ANYWAY.. lol.. Me overthinking things perhaps.. probably not as likely #that people see the silly little cat images and go 'WOW EVIL you must be a capitalist grind culture lover' like its pretty clear #thats not the point... but... just in case... lol.. Peter Bayer is so annoying, every time he opens his mouth it doesn't make Daniel's situation any better. He brings chaos to everything around Daniel with his cowardice and inability to stand up for his team. How can he say that it's good that Daniel deleted his IG when we have to ask for updates on his life through IG posts that he posts no more than 20 times a year. I hate peter so much 🤬🤬🤬

In the past few days, I've made up my mind to not pay any attention to what's said in the media about Daniel - whether that's from Helmut, Bayer, Laurent or Christian.

Red Bull is currently a political bloodbath and Daniel, being the only driver without a contract, has become a pawn in that game. Whether this means Daniel is more likely or less likely to get renewed for next year - I don't know. These past 4-5 races have shown Daniel in on an upward trajectory, and if people are wilfully ignoring that, it just shows there are factors other than performance at play.

It sucks, but I also think what will be, will be and we should just enjoy Daniel racing. Like these three races obviously mean a lot to him - his 250th start, his birthday, his parents staying back in europe for all this and him having Jack around to document it all!

I think the one thing I'm holding dear is Daniel's comment that they overachieved in Austria. It's been so long that he's said something like that - it just shows he is finally performing at that level where he is satisfied with himself, that he's putting everything into it and it feels like a personal reward to himself

Also just saying that yeah, Daniel is caught up in the red bull power struggle, but that man is also cut from the old red bull cloth - he can play that political game in his sleep. So he's not an unfortunate collateral as much as we'd like to think.

#i also think the media plays such a huge part in making everything seems that much dire for daniel #like one culprit is planetf1 -#they had an article on peter saying daniel needs to perform the day before #then another article on the insta comment yesterday (which btw did piss me off because is daniel a 17 year old boy whos taking his a levels #that needs to delete socials on his phone to show he's serious????)#and then this morning i.e. on the morning of media day they post another article going helmut marko drops liam lawson bombshell on daniel #and it makes you think that he's said something new again but nope it's still the same old comments from earlier #so its just this cycle of the media repeating and amplifying the same comments over and over again that makes things look worse #and it's also like we all know helmut has no power over driver decisions and him saying WE ARE GIVING LAWSON A SEAT IN 2025 #doesnt mean he can actually give lawson a seat in 2025 you know

Doctor who never seems to leave patient's general vicinity: His blood pressure's dropping, he's crashing!! *intense music and people rushing around and alarms blaring with fancy disco lights flashing*

Me, minding my own business, hearing an alarm beep to indicate hypotension: *grumbling as I get up for the fifth time to go back into the room and adjust blood pressure IV medication* Gosh darn it Steve stop misbehaving, this is just downright rude.
