Fanart of Philip V of Spain
I illustrated him savoring his dinner after a long day. He took a bite of his steak but found it chewy and dry. He instructed a servant to remove the steak and chose to eat pastries and tarts instead.
Dedicated to my friend, @philippeducdanjou, @chateau-de-gamin and @felipe-v-fanblog
I hope you all liked it, Thank you

During the alarm for the life of the Queen, regret at not possessing an heir to the throne was not even thought of. The King himself was wholly occupied with the care of preserving an adored wife.

Collection: Palace of Versailles, Paris, France
Depicted People:

Description
Louis-Philippe and His Sons Riding Out from Versailles is an 1846 oil-on-canvas painting by the French artist Horace Vernet. It features a group portrait of Louis Philippe I and his sons riding out from the Palace of Versailles. Versailles, once the residence of the House of Bourbon during the Ancien régime before the French Revolution, had been abandoned for several decades. During the July Monarchy Louis Philippe oversaw its restoration as a national museum. Vernet's painting commemorates its inauguration on 10 June 1837. The king rides out through the gates accompanied by his five sons the Duke of Orléans, the Duke of Nemours, the Prince of Joinville, the Duke of Aumale and the Duke of Montpensier. Orléans, the king's eldest son and heir, had subsequently died in a carriage accident in 1842.
The painting was commissioned by the king to hang in Versailles, where it remains.

“Maria Chiara congratulating Donald Trump for winning the election is peak level hypocrisy and absolute ignorance. Her target audience are definitely not Trump supporters. She needs to recognise that she is not a Princess of Italy, but nothing more than an influencer.” - Submitted by Anonymous

New Orleans Trip 2024
Hello! I finally have time to post about my incredible vacation to New Orleans I was able to have. It was a week long and that week wasn’t long enough! New Orleans is truly magical and full of history and culture (and ghosts!) and I miss it so much. From the food to the weather to the music, New Orleans is more than I could have ever imagined and I was able to visit it with my friends! @dreamofme9 and @amc-iwtv joined me on this dream of a vacation and we saw so much. Too much. I’ve been able to make a few collages full of our moments and all the experiences we had!
From walking the streets of New Orleans to taking the streetcar, we never stopped. There was just too much to take in! I could list every single place but I would much rather just share these photos and memories that I will forever hold close to my heart. I don’t think I’ve ever felt as alive as I did during this week I spent with my beautiful friends. I’m blessed and I know it.
You may click on the photos to enlarge them. They hardly capture the true spirit of the city but they are gorgeous, and that’s enough for me to share all the places I went to and all the food that I ate! All the drinks that I drank! Amazing!

I need to go back. I will go back. My life wasn’t complete until I set foot in New Orleans and a piece of my heart remains there now, forever.
