Producer Nascent Releases Sophomore Album Don't Grow Up Too Soon
Hip-Hop and R&B producer Nascent releases his sophomore album, Don't Grow Up Too Soon. Three singles including "Big Brown Eyes feat. Orion Sun," "Don't Check 4 Me" feat Duckwrth and Saba, and the most recent "Spinnin These Blocks" feat. Maxo Kream, BJ The Chicago Kid, and Paul Wall introduced the project earlier this year. Nascent started making music when he was 18 and worked with 50 Cent, SZA, Brent Faiyaz, Chance The Rapper, Kanye West, and more. Don't Grow Up Too Soon reveals the sonic bones of his sound for both genres. He is equally comfortable behind the boards whether crafting guitars that mimic harps for the rapper Childish Major's "Time" or putting together pianos and violins for "Big Brown Eyes" with Philadephia songstress Orion Sun. Nascent released the album via his Don't Grow Up Too Soon company in partnership with Colture. Stream DGUTS and watch the video for "Spinnin These Blocks."
