Baton Rouge was a place of celebration and wonder, especially during the Mardi Gras season. Parades captivating the eye with vibrant green, purple, and gold painting the lively city scene at night. People from both the north and south travel just to see what it's like. Everyone loved it. One way or another.  Large floats rolled in the streets for all to see as they threw out beads, liquor, and money to the people below if you were lucky enough. The tall tales of where the traditions and key people came from. People dressed in crazy costumes or nothing at all running through the streets drunk just because they could. Secret societies of different tales wear decorative masks and hold upscale balls for the elite to mingle and discuss business. Music and drinking every night until morning when the drunkards and the aftermath of the celebration had to be cleaned up, only for it to repeat later in the day. There wasn't much a person could love about Mardi Gras. In all honesty, there wasn't much to hate when jazz and drinking came into play in the streets of Louisiana.
The celebration was my favorite time of the year. Being a Louisiana native, Mardi Gras was great for the area, which had lots of tourists, and it was even better with me being a bartender. There was nothing I loved more than the attention given from working at a bar, and you were there to satisfy my thirst. A soft groan left my lips as your finger brushed against my covered pussy, thrusting my hips against your touch. Being pinned under you, I had no choice but to submit to whatever you did. My mind was hazy from the numerous drinks you filled me with before ending up in your bed. Sliding your hand into my panties and slipping two fingers, my hips thrust upwards as I clenched around your fingers lazily thrusting into me. My eyes rolled back. Your voice shook me to my core, deep and low in my ear as you spoke to me, "The way you're clenching around my fingers is something else. You're nothing but whore sucking me back in with every thrust."
A soft whimper left my lips, and my hand traveled down towards your crotch, palming your hard cock. A groan leaving your lips and pumping your fingers faster, Your lips brushing against my neck with soft kisses, traveling down to my breast and sucking on them.
"Please fuck me. I don't wanna be teased anymore. I want it. Please."
Chucking from my please, you sat up. The pressure of your body against your mind was no longer there as you took off the remaining of your clothes and mine. Whistling and eyeing me up and down as I was finally completely naked in front of you. Grabbing the base of your cock and giving it a few pumps before looking back at me, "If you want me to fuck you. Get to suckin' sweetheart." Without a second thought, I placed myself in front of you. Giving your cock a few kisses down the base and licking you from the base and back to the tip before putting you in my mouth. The girth stretching my lips around you, trying my best to get you down my throat with each bob of my head. Hearing your moans from getting a blowjob only pushed me to please you even further. But it wasn't enough. Grabbing the base of my head to keep it in place, you thrusting your thick cock into my mouth at a fast pace. Gagging from the rough thrusting, tears welled in my eyes as the gagging continued. Smiling down at how pathetic I looked, I could feel your throb at the sensations I was giving you. After a few moments, you pushed me off your cock.
"Lay your pretty ass down so I can fuck you."
"Yes, sir." Obeying your command, I positioned myself on the bed as you crawled over me. Grabbing your cock and lining it up with my pussy you made quick work, thrusting inside me, bottoming me out by hitting my cervix. The pressure of making me clench around you and moaning.
"You look so pretty with my cock inside you. The way this slutty pussy of yours is gripping me so deliciously. You needed this, didn't you? Needed me to be inside you. Fuck you. Pump you full of my cum and breed you. Making sure my cock drills deep inside of you so it can take. Isn't that right slut."
With each thrust, my grip of sanity loosened. Your words not helping with the situation. "Yes, sir. I need your cock. I need you to fuck and breed me. Please let me feel cum inside me. I want to feel you throb as you cum inside me." The words spilling from my mouth were barely comprehensible as you fucked me into the mattress. Moving my legs from around your waist to over your shoulders so you could fuck me deeper. Jackhammering into me, one hand playing with my nipples, with the other assaulting my clit. Overstimming me to the point I couldn't even speak anymore. When you would ask a question, the only thing I could do was nod. Not trusting myself to speak anymore. There's nothing I love more than the way you were fucking me. Watching your eyes stare down at me with disgust and admiration for me. My moans turning into screams from the onslaught of pleasure coming at me from every direction. It wasn't long before I was squirting on your cock, making your thrust even more messy, being soaked from my pussy. But that didn't stop your movements. It only drove you to push me further, My eyes rolling back from the pleasure becoming too much.
"You still with me, sweetheart? Don't give out on me just yet now." With a slight nod, you released both my tits and clit and leaned down. Diminishing the space between our bodies even more. Your mouth against my ear about how cute I'm gonna look filled with your cum, all cockdrunk from being fucked so hard. After a few more thrusts, you fill me with your cum. Pumping into me like a fire hose as your tongue went down my throat. It wasn't until I was thoroughly filled with your cum did you reposition us on our sides, your cock still inside of me so none of your cum would spill out.

All the multiples of 3 😁
Thanks, babe!! 🥰
3: A song that reminds you of summertime
Chattahoochee - Alan Jackson
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I will not be judged. Also. Hey, Brandi Carlile! I've been very patiently waiting for you to cover this song in your belt-y Raise Hell style. I can hear it clear as day in my mind. Just a suggestion!
youtube
6: A song that makes you want to dance
He Lives In You - Lebo M
This song makes me LOSE CONTROL. What a bop! And I've long joked that this and Michael Crawford's O Holy Night/Bach's Ricercar are the only things that can kinda reel me back into believing in God/Aslan/Mufasa...if only for the track's duration :)
youtube
9: A song that makes you happy
Hodja - Todd Rudgren
Always has me grinning ear-to-ear and trying out different harmonies on each refrain. :)
youtube
12: A song from your preteen years
Whisper - Evanescence
Amy Lee, my beloved ❤️ Who else got into this band because your parents mistook it for Christian music? And who else still remembers all the words to the Latin chorus?
youtube
15: A song that is a cover by another artist
For No One - The Beatles - Liz Gillies
LIZ DROP A ROCK ALBUM I BEG YOU PLEASE SINGLE-HANDEDLY SAVE THE MUSIC INDUSTRY LIZ PLEASE (also divorce your nasty fucking husband and marry me)
youtube
18: A song from the year that you were born
Hope Of Deliverance - Paul McCartney (and kd Lang!)
1993 was an excellent year for music, but this is the song from that year that I still listen to on a regular basis.
youtube
21: A favorite song with a person’s name in the title
Hannah Hunt - Vampire Weekend - I'm With Her
"If I can't trust you, then damn it, Hannah! There's no future! There's no answer!" Listen to this back-to-back with First Aid Kit's cover of America.
youtube
24: A song by a band you wish were still together
I don't have an answer for this one, really. I think break-ups happen for a reason and half the bands I miss fell apart because somebody died. How about a desperately wanted collaboration? Get kd, Indigo Girls, Melissa Etheridge, Phranc, Tracy Chapman, and Brandi Carlile all up on stage together for a raucous cover of Callin' Baton Rouge or something. Restart Lilith Fair/MichFest. Put The Last Shadow Puppets in charge of the music for The Beatles biopics. Have me play Take Good Care Of My Baby on Colbert, with Lera Lynn as a surprise guest who segues us into You Should Know I'm Still Your Baby (a la Melissa and kd kissing after Sleep While I Drive). Annie Clark, Esperanza Spalding, and Andrew Bird should form a supergroup. Lianne La Havas should be blaring on every grocery store speaker. Taylor Swift should take a break. Liz Gillies should release a 70s rock/folk ballad album. Lady Gaga should do electroswing. I don't know!
27: A song that breaks your heart
You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go - Bob Dylan - Madeleine Peyroux
Idk, there are sadder songs. I just starting thinking of my ex. "You could make me cry, if you don't know!"
youtube
30: A song that reminds you of yourself
I'm a looooooooooser! Actually.

1) hmmmm, probably: Wine Country, Practical Magic, Lost Boys, Prometheus, and possibly an open vacancy (a fifth doesn’t come to mind lol)
2)Easy one: Bob’s Burgers, Schitt’s Creek, Avatar the Last Airbender (basic I know smh), Game of Thrones (excluding season 8), Battlestar Galactica.
3) I have a fascination with zombies but I’m equally terrified of them, so being a horror movie fan I have to mentally prepare to be paranoid for a day post-zombie flick lol

John Fred & His Playboy Band - "Harlem Shuffle" Rockin' 50s & 60s Song released in 1966. Compilation released in 1996. R&B
Good morning 🌅. Ever wondered where the opening horns from LA rap group House of Pain's early 90s party classic, "Jump Around," came from? Well, it wasn't this song, specifically, but the year before Baton Rouge, Louisiana's John Fred & His Playboy Band would end up certifying themselves as one-hit wonders with their somewhat strange #1 pop hit, "Judy in Disguise (With Glasses)," they delivered this pretty excellent, under-the-radar, blue-eyed cover of the song that House of Pain *did* indeed take those horns from, LA R&B and soul duo Bob & Earl's "Harlem Shuffle."
So, in essence, what we have here is a one-hit wonder covering a one-hit wonder, and that original one hit wonder's one hit would then be iconically sampled by another one-hit wonder for their own one hit too. However, before the latter one-hit wonder sampled the original one-hit wonder's one hit, The Rolling Stones—who are very much not a one-hit wonder—covered the original one-hit wonder's one hit as well, and that one made it all the way up to #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1986, marking itself as the most commercially successful rendition of the original one-hit wonder's one hit 😅.
But this John Fred & His Playboy Band cover is *much* better than that Rolling Stones one!

Out On Highway 61
Highway 61. “God said to Abraham, kill me a son. Abe said no. God said you can do anything you want but if you see me coming you better run. Abe said where do you want this killing done? God said out on Highway 61.” Bob Dylan wrote that. Highway 61 begins on Tulane Avenue in New Orleans, runs east, turns right near Baton Rouge heads North through the Mississippi Delta where blues was born and…

After the firing of Jimbo Fisher at a&m I've heard many analysts say A&M already had their new coach when they axed Jimbo.
Tumblr media
One of the rumors is Lincoln Riley. The analyst said it with a straight face so I'm guessing he was serious.
Edit: Doh, left out most obvious reason when first posted. Not wanting to go to SEC was a major factor in leaving Oklahoma.
Why I think this is ridiculous.
Being in Los Angeles removes a tremendous amount of pressure. In a state like Oklahoma, OU's head coach is the biggest, most scrutinized, and recognized celebrity in the state. At USC not only are you not the most recognized person in the state, you are a relative nothing in Los Angeles.
If you've heard interviews with great coaches after they have left the game, when asked "what they don't miss?". "Your life is not your own, " - Bob Stoops. Switzer said something like "the everydayness of it.". Working year round - especially recruiting.
Having the head coaching job at A&M, and especially Texas, is a worse job than Oklahoma and many of the SEC jobs . You are not only under the spotlight, but under the microscope of filthy rich alumni. These are political jobs that require managing and pacifying strong willed individuals with big money that like to control.
Sure Riley has to to recruit year round but he can go out to dinner, attend his kids summer events, etc without being watched by everyone.
Recruiting California is an easier job than fighting for recruits in Texas and across the south, where college football is religion. California culture is far different from that of the red states east of the rocky mountains. A kid has incentive to stay home. Players usually like to stay close to their friends and family, want their families to be able to attend away games. California is many many miles from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Given time Riley will get an offensive line and a defense to go along with his Heisman quarterbacks and elite receivers. The Heisman brings much attention to your program. As a side note, I was appalled at how small the statue of the Selmon brothers is, it should tower over that of the Heismans.
