OKAY so i think i found a way to link Dr Empala and Mondo to being related !! MEET BLANCA AND MORE MONDO / EMPALA LORE

i wanted mondo to be in the same time as the generals BUT i decided he wouldve been generals with them but not for long , however he was a general before the other three were . so hes wayy older than them ( Otto and Mondo are wayy older than Fluffy and Hocicos . Hocicos being mid 30 and Fluffy pushin late 40s . However Otto and Mondo are well into their 50s . before ofc ) . Mondo had his own special relationships w the generals before retiring at 75 - 80 .

Blanca ( full name blanca - blanco lol ) is Mondos daughter , who lived with her mother Joan all her life ( it was not fun !!! ) at the times Mondo did come home it was persistant argueing between them that ended in one of the parents ranting to her after it all . At the times Mondo wasn't home however Blanca dealt with her emotional outbursts . Blanca entered the army after her father , warannting others to treat her based on their opinion of their father

One day , the camp was invaded by Unicorns . The camp was destroyed and many bears died , several injured ( Hocicos lost his hearing being too close to a granade explosion ) . General Mondo joined the soldier bears in trying to kill all the unicorns , after sucessfully killing the last ( and seemingly leader of that team of ) unicorn , he ripped the horn off her head and turned it into a dagger ( which still holds unicorn magic ! the older the unicorn is the more magic it holds . did i mention unicorn magic is painfully deadly to bears )

Blanca survived along with handfuls of different bears from differwnt sections of the camp . they were all sanctioned to rebuild the camp from the bottom up . Which is where Blanca met Limero ! Limero was a trap / bomb creator . very crafty with his work . Limero was the first to crush on Blanca , but Blanca fell way harder and confessed first . a while after Limero confessed he wanted to leave the army and start a life with her , Blanca at first was hesitant of what her father may think . But eventually agreed after months on months of peristing . During the time , Blancas mother fell ill . So she stayed and cared for her for her last years . After Joan ( breif joan bs : she was born with OCD and Schizophrenia . and at the time she was born there was no real cure for her , she was punished all her life for her untreated illnesses . One day Mondo had enough of her constant episodes and has her lobotomized , however it sorta just fucked her ass up more . end of Joan lore for now ) dies , Blanca takes over the house and lives with Limero from then on .

( this section of the story is still under construction SAWRY !! some mondo stuff tho about having a bad fallout with the generals and leaves )

Blanca hesitantly lets Mondo stay in their home after he retires , this was the first time in years they were . together for real ! it was weird and Blanca did not have a good image of her father her entire child and adulthood . Mondo kept his sour and otherwise mean attitude .. to everyone except his granddaughter Empala . He admired her with every fiber in his old being ! for the first time in her life , Blanca saw her father be loving and kind . And she pushed down the jealous parts of her for her baby .

Mondo passes when Empala turned 2 years . the rest of Blancas life is quiet and nice , how she always wanted it

Blanca is prob one of my most emotionally strong characters !! She does take on a bit of her mothers emotional distress but not the anger and agression stuff !! more of the easily depressive . However that all started after she left the army , her entire life was nothing but constant fixing and working she never had the time to sit and process her own emotions . so a shut down for her came easy ! Limero was one of the only people who could work with her and her episodes ( i mean look at her LIFE good greif her mental parents fucked her up bad )

Something Limero did with Empala was create things for and with her , which sparked her intrest in becoming an engineer and scientist .

Empala loved her grandfather and joined the army as a scientist / engineer as soon as she was able to. The generals were hesitant to let her join at all ( mondos grand daughter DUH ) however she was let in on account of lack of those who specialize in her field .

next thing you know she's assigned a very important mission from the generals , to create the most perfect bear the army had ever seen ! Dulzura is now created

YIPPPEE TY DUDE HEHEHE AHEMM *shuffles my garbled notes* SOO jackdawstar is the leader of my fanclan spruceclan he has a bunch of trauma and went thru a bunch at an early age way b4 he was ready😨 in da expressions art, hes grieving over the loss of his close friend fernpaw!! jackdaw and fern grew up together bein around bein besties!! (tho jackdaw might have a lil crush on fern or smth uhm) jackdaws mom, crowstar, is the leader at the time, n bc of nepotism she promotes him to warrior when hes far too little so he becomes jackdawclaw while his bud fern remains fernpaw n is still training as a med cat apprentice.

the deputy dies n so crowstar picks her 13 yr old son as deputy ofc, and jackdaw accepts all the burden bc he wants to make his mami proud :[ and then guesss what.. CROWSTAR DIEZ!! leaving 18 moon old jackdawstar as leader of an entire clan of cats... as u can imagine this is not very good for a growing boys mental health!! after a few moons of shaky leadership n jackdaw tryin not to crumble under it all, a flood hits spruceclans camp!! jackdaw has a meltdown during evacuation n is frozen unable to move in his den n fernpaw races to save his bestie!! jackdaw is able to get hauled to safety by fern, but fernpaw isnt able to swim out and sinks beneath the water, drowning. jackdaw is absolutely DISTRAUGHT over the death of like his only friend :( he blames himself n so does fernpaw's adopted mother/mentor velvetvein (blink blink there some drama there but id be here foreva if i screamed abt it BAH) so jackdaw continues to lead spruceclan trying to do his best for his clanmates and in memory of spruceclan!! he sure is lucky to have his deputy snowshiva :] who is velvetveins wife and they do not have no ambitious or malicious plans eva hmm involving disposing of him or anythin uhh anyways

jackdaws an old man now and fernpaws ghost still hangs around him, fern neva blamed jackdaw for his demise, fern chose to save his dear jackdaw...

I’m in a lore spilling mood and this needs to be done at some point so now is good. Better buckle up bc idk how long this is gonna be and I don’t even know what exactly I’ll go into. (Little warning for some violence) So without further ado, please enjoy the story of

The Orion Initiative

-Season One:

This is the story of four teens who all find themselves in alien hunting program- the Orion Initiative. They, among many others, apply for this opportunity and are accepted to receive their training and employment on the Orion’s spaceship. These four meet and come together as friends as they discover the more sinister side to this program in an episodic format (that quietly sets up the “big problem” in the background). Let’s meet the cast.

Megan

Megan had grown up on this spaceship, specifically in the area dedicated to scientific research. She was part of the research after all. Megan didn’t know what exactly had been done to her over the years, but she knew she was different. It was hard to compare herself to other people though since this ship and the people on it were all she’d known. Well, it was all she knew until the program began. Megan watched from afar for a few years as strangers came to live on the ship. She didn’t get too many opportunities to interact with them, nor was she allowed to, but she didn’t mind. Just to observe was enough. But one year, when the next wave of trainees flooded the halls and she watched them bumble about excitedly while getting her enhancements, one of the scientists told her the news. She would be joining the program this year. Megan was admittedly very nervous. She had alarmingly little information about this program despite her proximity to it, and she would be thrust into the midst of these strangers. Regardless of her thoughts about it, it was happening. Her few belongings were moved into a new room she would share with another girl, who looked like she could be her own age. The other girl looked up and walked over quickly, sticking her hand out in front of her. “Hi, I’m Zelda! I guess, we’re roommates?” Megan wasn’t sure what to think at first; this girl seemed strange and different, but not bad. Later, Zelda gave her a knotted bracelet. It had meant that they were friends, she told her. Megan didn’t take it off.

Zelda

Zelda had it all going for her. She was about to finish high school with a 4.0 GPA, the had a group of friends and family that loved her, and she was lined up to go to her dream college on a scholarship. So why didn’t it feel right? She’d been preparing for this moment for so long, but it felt like something was missing, like she should be doing something more. That was when she discovered something- the Orion Initiative, an elite program where she could live in space and be professional trained to hunt aliens. That definitely sounded better than going to a stale college for the next few years. Besides, this program was training and a guaranteed job with compensated room and board. It was literally the total package. And if she ended up hating it, college would still be there… After rearranging her plans, Zelda was soon packed and saying her goodbyes to her friends and family. She would miss them, but it was time she did something exciting with her life. After arriving and setting up her things in her room, she met her new roommate. Her roommate seemed a little closed off at first, but after gifting her a friendship bracelet, they seemed to click. Plus, when she was going around and meeting some other new recruits her age, she met a guy who was really cute. As it turned out, he and his friend’s room were in the same hallway as hers. This was going to be great.

Xander

Xander had a job to do. He had been researching this program for years, but the internet didn’t hold much about it. The Orion Initiative- the website vaguely described it as a program that would train and employ its applicants to hunt the aliens that could pose a threat to earth. It was advertised as completely voluntary, you can drop out at any time, you can always stay in touch with your loved ones. But if that was the case, then why did his brother just disappear? There had been nothing from him since he left. Xander had texted and called him everyday, but the phone didn’t even ring. His mom said that he was probably just distracted and busy with his new work, but she was one to talk. She was always busy and distracted; it would be hard for her to really realize something was wrong with this. So now, he had a job to do. His mom thought she was seeing him off to the airport as he flew to his university, but that wasn’t exactly true. He hoped she wouldn’t have to find out what was happening, that it was all just a misunderstanding and his brother just didn’t have service. Maybe he could really go to university one day. But not now. Xander was cautious and observant as he navigated the spacecraft. In any other circumstance, it might’ve been pretty cool. He asked around about his brother (“Do you know Jake Lee?”), but everyone there was new like him. He met a few people, like his roommate and girl who seemed really sweet, but he could still sense that something was off about this place. And he was going to figure it out.

Anik

Anik needed to get out. He was sick of everything. Sick of school. Sick of his parents. He just needed to get away. He needed to do something to get his mind off of things; he needed some control over his life. He had been scrolling on his phone when he was given a strange ad, boasting a great program where applicants could be trained to hunt aliens? Anik was intrigued. The website didn’t say many specifics, but it completely covered training and living costs? This was perfect. Anik would practically be paid to do dangerous stuff, and his parents might finally get off his back about his plans for the future. It was almost too good to be true. He was definitely doing this. After a little while of preparing everything, he was off to this program. He arrived and put his things in his room, where he met his roommate. The guy was pretty chill, but he did seem to be looking for some guy named Jake. He was a little preoccupied in Anik’s opinion since they were on a literal spaceship, but he didn’t care too much. He and Xander went to meet people soon after, and Anik had to hold himself back from cringing when they met this one girl. By the way those two were looking at each other, he could tell they would definitely be seeing her again. After quietly backing out of that conversation, he made his way around to some other people- he wanted to know what exactly they would be doing for this training. No one he found knew though, since they were all new. He guessed that the people who had already been through training must be in a different location. It didn’t really matter too much to him though. This was the start of the coolest thing he’d done in his life, and he was gonna make it count.

After coming together, the gang will go on to partake in little adventures as they learn life lessons and grow their relationships with one another. Zelda becomes the self-appointed leader of the group with her confident and competent nature and her ability to think quickly. Megan feels sort of out of place within the group and usually just follows Zelda around and lets her do the decision making. Xander is a sort of instigator who will pull the team into investigating certain situations, but will always be quick to help whenever they need it. Anik feels uncomfortable in the group dynamic but eventually comes to find his place as the heart and protector of the team. The leader of this program (who Megan knew as a sort of mother) often interacts with them specifically, giving them their missions and seeing to their concerns.

In one of the very important plot episodes, the team is training. The training takes place in a closed and monitored forest environment on one of the planets that’s used to test before field work. Somehow, a strange alien makes it into the training area where it’s not supposed to be. The team is able to exterminate it and move on. Soon after, Megan (the one in closest contact with it) begins to feel and act strange. The other three become worried as she becomes more animalistic and aggressive. This comes to a head when Megan’s eyes turn completely dark and begin leaking a dark liquid. Her mouth begins to foam and her breathing technology is damaged, but she attacks them and runs away. The team tries to get out but everything is locked down. They are trapped in the training area with their friend who seems to be infected by some exposure to an alien and is now trying to kill them. The rest of the episode depicts them waiting for the doors to open as they try to escape. First, she emerges from the shadows and slams Ivan against the ground, effectively knocking him out. The other two begin to run as they hear but don’t see Megan in the plants around them. Next Megan knocks Zelda to the ground and throws several punches, but Zelda is able to fend her off with some of their equipment. Megan retreats momentarily before rushing Zelda from behind and knocking her down as she jumps for Xander. He puts up a fight as she pins him to the ground and, with a sickening crunch, rips his arm completely from its socket. Zelda runs back at this time and, although she doesn’t want to harm her friend, it’s past that. She shoots her in the leg causes Megan to run back into the darkness. It only takes a few minutes before the doors finally open and the three are rushed to the medical wing. They also tell the people about Megan, who is still in the environment and acting murderous. The people say they will take care of it. After a few hours, Megan comes to in the middle of a dark forest. Her breathing technology is broken, making her breaths very shallow and difficult. She’s covered in blood and a human arm lies in her lap. She’s there until morning, when she is found and taken to a lab. They said that the cause of the episode was due to the exposure to the strange alien. Even though she wasn’t in control of her actions, the whole team is uneasy about the experience and the relationships become slightly strained.

Subtly in each episode, the main plot is set up. The Orion Initiative, though claiming its purpose is to protect earth from aliens with a force of hunters, really is using the hunters in order to further their research. They need to stay in an alien infested place and because of this are vulnerable. These volunteers are sent out to “protect” the ship, but if they can’t, the aliens will be satisfied with a payment. There have been many different experiments to potentially enhance their hunters, so that they don’t have to lose so many people. Not many have been successful, although Megan is one of the few. The alien that got into the training area was planted there as an experiment.

In the season finale, the extent of the program’s villainy is discovered. After the gang confronts the program leader about, she explains the situation. She tells them about what’s really been happening (conveniently leaving out how many people have been killed thus far) but claims that they’ve only been researching in order to discover new methods of human mutation. If they can combine aliens and human dna, civilizations in space could be possible and utilized. They accept this answer at first, but the adventure of the episode leads them to the discovery of the death logs and failed experiments. As they look through the dark lab, they discover foggy glass capsules. A light switches on and they make a horrifying discovery. They are met face to face with the horribly mutated and disfigured face of past subjects in the glass capsules. They find information about how they were failed experiments and potential subjects that would be next, Megan’s name on the list. This causes panic. This program wasnt for helping people, it was for collecting canon fodder and voluntary subjects. They spread the news to the rest of the trainees and plan to make their escape by taking a smaller ship back to earth. Among the members of the main four, things grow more tense as Xander, arguably the most deeply affected by this, lashes out at Megan. He claimed she knew this whole time and had been helping them; that’s why she ripped off his arm. His brother was probably dead all bc of this place she was a part of. Megan tried to defend herself, but was uncertain. She always had listened to the program after all, and she did hurt her friends. Zelda almost couldn’t believe it. She wouldn’t think Megan would do that, but she’s practically admitting to it. “You really helped them do all of this?” she asked. Anik comes to her defense, reminding them that she wasn’t in her right mind when it happened, asking Megan if she wanted to help the program. She shook her head. “See?” he said. “She wouldn’t do it if she had a choice. We need to focus on getting out of here, not on this.” They all agree to put it aside for the moment and go on with their plan. After some interference with technology, they managed to cut some power and get everyone to the evacuation ship. As they’re running and get to the boundary between the main ship and the escape ship, Megan gets caught on an invisible barrier. She can’t cross over onto the ship. The others don’t notice until they begin to close things off. They realize that she’s stuck, but security begins to come towards the escape ship. There isn’t enough time. Zelda has to make a decision. She decides to prioritize the people on the ship and close the doors on Megan. She and Xander aren’t happy about it, but realize it has to be done. Anik can’t believe it and is shocked, telling her to stop the doors. She reasons that it’s too late for Megan. Anik runs at the closing doors and slides through at the last second, making it to Megan as the security closed in around them.

Finally posting some details about one of my D&D characters--Foxtrot. Apologies in advance, this is gonna be a long one. He's partly a Watership Down oc because I can't make a Harengon character and NOT make everything about Watership Down, so for anyone who isn't familiar with the conlang in that book I'll put translations for every Lapine word I use! I won't go into too much detail about everything, partly because no one wants to read that and partly because my D&D party follows me here and there's still a few secrets I want to keep.

Foxtrot's Lapine name is Homba-Suíl (pronounced "HOM-bah shool"). Homba means fox, but since there isn't any Lapine word for "trot" or anything similar I took the Gaelic word "suíl," meaning "speed" or "movement". I've always felt that Lapine sounds like it needs to be spoken in an Irish accent, so it only made sense to draw inspiration from that language. His name is meant to mean "speed of a fox," which is actually an insult from his mother (rabbits are of course much faster than foxes), who never saw any potential in him when he was born.

Foxtrot is albino, making him naturally disadvantaged because he has poor eyesight and his coat makes it hard for him to hide. He's also a very small rabbit, so everyone in his warren always expected him to die pretty early. Ironically, despite the name he was given, Foxtrot grew up to be the fastest runner in the warren. This caught the attention of the chief rabbit Marlirah (MAR-lee-rah, "mother queen"), who invited Foxtrot to join her owsla (military force, similar to a king's guard). He was the youngest and smallest member of the owsla, and the other officers didn't take kindly to him being there </3 Foxtrot didn't really get upset about not having any friends though. He was completely and totally devoted to Marlirah, and as long as he had the chance to serve her he was the luckiest rabbit alive. All of the rabbits in the warren practically worshiped Marlirah, but Foxtrot had a particular love for her because she had believed in him when no one else did.

One day during a particularly brutal battle, Foxtrot received a devastating head injury, and woke up to find that he had been separated from Marlirah and the rest of the officers. His memories were pretty scrambled, and he spent the next year or so wandering around searching aimlessly for the others. He doesn't remember most of the period after waking up. The party found him sometime during this wandering period, after his wound had mostly healed but his amnesia was still very present.

Now my little level two fighter has to fight vampires with these crazy jackasses. Oh how the times have changed.

Bogard's Sexy Spy Wife Headcanons

Watching the episodes of the Diary of Koby-Meppo gave me ideas 🤭

In my other headcanon where Ghost Rose chooses Bogard (read: Someone who loves you, sequel soon... I hope), they've been married for a while by the start of the show (anime, manga or LA) and is their main intel dealer and contact with the Phantom Pirates.

Those are their faces with every Bogard and Ghost Rose interaction before finding out they're married. They gossip about if she's some femme fatale spy/pirate that sells intel to the Marine in exchange of dubious favors. Bogard chastising them with a glare for being noisy about his personal life will never not be funny.

She always knows where to find the HQ-3 even when Bogard don't tell her. SPECIALLY the times when Bogard insists her to not look for him for the safety of whatever mission they are in.

It drives him crazy (but loves it secretly). Garp thinks it's hilarious.

When they arrived at headquarters for Koby and Helmeppo's training, she appeared briefly to smooch her husband and inform them of something regarding Dragons' last appearance and Baroque Works.

Yes, Garp is always aware of his son's whereabouts and does shit about it. He just wants to know if he's safe and asked her to keep him informed. She just wants an excuse to see her husband out of his leave days. Win win.

They where in the middle of sword training when, suddenly, Bogard halted the cadet's swords and disarmed them with a movement to immediately direct his attention to a point behind the Vice Admiral. A rare smile adorned his face leaving his apprentices stunned.

They turned in unison to see what on the four blues would be able to put a smile on their instructor's face. Their jaws practically drop to the floor.

Perched on a rock behind Garp was a most beautiful woman with tanned skin and long wavy hair, dressed in a fitting black dress.

"What? A chicken shited my head?" Asked Garp before turning around. "Ah, it's you," he commented upon seeing the woman behind him.

She's probably the only person in all the blues capable of sneak behind Garp without notice.

"You said you wanted to know as soon as posible when your man of interest was in the move," said the mysterious visitor before lowering her voice to murmur in the Vice Admiral's ear. "He was seen in Loguetown saving a certain Strawhat kid..."

"Ma'am, I don't know who you are, but these are the Marine Headquarters and the presence of non-military personnel is forbidden," Koby interrumpted naively.

Rose blinked several times before start gigling. Garp cackled loudly. Bogard's crooked smiled broadened.

"Ohhh, sweet summer child," she cooed.

"Ah, well, you're pro'bly gonna see more of her in the future," mumbled Garp. "This is Ghost Rose, Rose for short, our main informant, keeps me updated on tha Grand Line news."

"But... Doesn't the Marine has its own intel network for that?" asked a confused Helmeppo.

"Bah... A bunch of witless fools who wouldn't find a fish in a puddle..."

"I don't think the saying goes like that..."

"My own intel network is foolproof!"

"... Is that even legal?"

"... Probably not," admited the Vice Admiral.

Koby and Helmeppo looked at each other dumbfounded. Which kind of morally dubious lunatic did they ended with?

"Now, if you don't mind, Vice Admiral, I'll take my payment for the service," Rose said in a tone that indicated she didn't care about Garp's minding it at all.

In a swift and fast movement, she advanced past Koby and Helmeppo towards Bogard and surrounded him with her arms to take his lips with hers in a passionate kiss. His free arm surrounded her smaller form to lift her up to his taller frame.

Koby and Helmeppo froze from the shock of witnessing their stoic instructor in the receiving end of such a public display of afection.

"Hey! Do not mess World Government property," grumbled Garp witnessing the path of red lipstick left by Ghost Rose on his Second's cheeks and jaw.

"I missed you, mi amor," she murmured lovingly to his ear.

"Forgive me, cara mia, we got sidetracked in the East Blue," Bogard answered in the same soft tone.

"So I heard. Did the Baroque Works' clue led to something?"

"Yes, half of a corpse and a black business card."

For their part, and not being privy to the couple's private talk, the cadets' imagination was running wild with this new information.

"Is it me or is the Vice Admiral paying under-the-table for illegal intel with sexual favors from Bo-san?" Murmured Helmeppo to Koby's ear, to the everlasting embarrassment of the pinkhaired cadet.

"That's too much, Helmeppo. It's just a kiss. Maybe she's just into Bo-san and likes to joke about it..."

"He doesn't look too bothered about it," continued the blonde like he hadn't listened to his friend. "Do you think Garp has had to pay similarly in the past?"

Both boys shudered at the mental image of considering Garp in that situation too.

"Yeah, yeah... Cut it off, you two," grunted Garp making Koby and Helmeppo to scare jump into standing at attention. "Got something useful about that Baroque Works this time?"

"Excuse me! Do you know how hard was to discover that one lead? Whoever they are, these people are good at covering they tracks... but yes, we got something. Seems like someone stirred the hive recently because now we are finding rumors everywhere..."

Koby and Helmeppo tried to follow the conversation to no avail, too distracted by Bogard's interaction with the beautiful spy. Her back was comfortable leaning over the officer's front, his arm still around her waist, their fingers intertwined.

The trail of red kiss marks over his face was so offputting...

"I guess that's my cue to leave," Rose finally said.

Bogard's expression soured immediately and his arm tighten around her before lettting go.

"Be careful, rosa mia," Bogard whispered in his wife's hair, taking a last breathe of her fragance.

"Always." Rose turned around to give her husband a last kiss. "Garp is going to owe me a month of you after this," she added out loud. Wink, wink.

The cadets blushed profusely at the implications of that last comment.

Koby and Helmeppo's minds blew even more when they eventually discovered Bogard is married.

On a particularly slow day, when they were doing some meditation to teach the cadets the importance of a clear mind and control over their emotions, Helmeppo dared to open an eye and almost fell backwards.

The three had dodge their respective uniforms for some confortable yukatas. Bogard was sit in front of them and Helmeppo noticed a golden chain over his clothes. Hanging from it was an unmistakable wedding ring.

That night, the blond confided to Koby his discovery, so they could be scandalized together at their superiors appaled behaviour. Garp for offering his Second for those services and Bogard for allow it while being married.

It would be some weeks and several encounters with Ghost Rose (she's deeply oppose to stay away from her husband for more than a week and mostly succeeds, Garp can cope and Bogard won't complain) until they learn she IS Bogard's wife and not a random femme fatale spy going around the Grand Line selling intel in exchange of dubious favors from married marines.

"You could've just asked me if you had those doubts," suggested Garp.

"It's not of their business," added Bogard grumpily.

Rose just laugh and made sure to leave a visibly red kiss on the cadets' cheeks every time they concur since then.

I'll say that Rory had 1, maybe 2 years of calling his dad "bah" or "you" or "hey", well, you see the pattern. However first time he called him "Dad" Buggy cried as hell and was all emotional about it. Toddler Rory did the math that calling buggy "Dad" was a great medium of exchange to get whatever he wants. He kinda has this idea of "Oh, you wanna me to call you dad, Buggy? Well, you'll have to deserve it."

May I add that I received some anon requests where people headcanon that he called Red' "mother", since when I like to think he indeed does, mostly to overplay his sassy-dandy-classy persona. However when he's scared or grossed out by something he yells "MOMMMYYYYYYYYY" with this very high pitched scream he inherited from his father.

Also I love your headcanon! You have the official authorisation to smash my OCs in multiverse versions of themselves and break the timeline whatever way you want. Plus kid / teen Blaze still enjoy chewing things, Luffy's chewing toy's role is safe >:]

I’d say their favorite activity IS working together. It’s not work if you love what you do! And they have spent countless nights experimenting on and dissecting bodies in the name of science(and personal enjoyment), so of course they have bonded over their ingenuity and mutual lack of morals. I see them both working parallel to each other a lot. On days where neither of them have cult business together, they’d make an excuse to hang out, maybe Gortash is working on new blueprints on one side of the room, while Dr. Vrach is reading the newest issue of some magic related publication on the other. Occasionally he’d scoff and comment “Bah! How does this drivel get published? They don’t even cite their sources!” and Gortash would hum in agreement, after which they both get back to whatever they’re doing. They’d share at max a few words during these communal work days but they do enjoy each other's presence. 

But aside from brainstorming, vivisection, and contemplating the minutia of death cult office politics, I do see them attending an occasional soiree or a ball. Not for socializing, but more so to sow discord in the ranks. They’d show up fashionably late, dressed to the nines, and spread over the room, each picking out a target to gossip with, at the end of the night they reunite and compare scores\brag if one of them got a noble to get mad at someone and cause a scene. 

6. Describe their dynamic in one sentence. Without using toxic.

“Aww, was that Gortash’s grandpa?” 

But seriously, they have a very "found family" style bond. If Gortash had won any blue ribbons, Dr. Vrach would display every single one of them in his living room and yap endlessly about how smart and talented his specialest little “nephew” is. He even sometimes introduces Gortash as a one at parties, to Gortash’s great annoyance (he’ll pout and play along if it’s convenient for the conversation but he can’t help but feel flattered that Dr. Vrach practically sees him as family, something he was denied and deemed unworthy of all his life).

Gortash finally got that supportive parental figure that, on the outside, he only humors to get Dr. Vrach’s cooperation, but he would never admit how much he likes that constant encouragement and praise, all the recognition he never got for his real talents.

This is like right before the story starts, so at the moment there is only Atlas (Arthur) and Bridgette (Kay) who are keeping an eye out and fighting monsters!

Alonso doesn’t mean to slam the door on Bridgette’s back, but his patience was wearing thin and her anxiety only added to his own. 

“Yes, you’re sorry, an accident, I get it,” he tells the closed door. He gives his hand a violent shake as if that will be enough to dispel the trembling, but of course it isn’t. Useless magic. “Bah.” 

“I can hear you talking to yourself, Merlin,” Atlas calls from the dining room. He sounds tired. He sounds old — he is old. Too old by far to be running around with Excalibur on patrols. 

Alonso does little to control his anger as he stalks back to join his king. “This,” he says and jabs a finger to where Atlas is clutching the gauze to his shoulder. “This is not a new injury.” 

Atlas glances down at the bright red of fresh blood on the bandage and somehow thinks it is a good idea to shrug and say, “It looks pretty new to me.” 

“You are going to send me to an early grave, your majesty.” Alonso steps in so his knees are pressed to Atlas’. “Healing is not my strong suit,” he warns, and places his hands on Atlas’ shoulders — gripping the uninjured one to keep himself steady as he focuses on the reopened wound. 

A soft sigh escapes Atlas, though it’s accompanied by a wince and a gritting of teeth. Where is Imogen when he needs her? She has always had the softer touch. 

But he just kicked her niece out of the house without a proper ‘debrief’ or whatever it is they like to call it. He gave Kay a proper dressing down for the shoddy behavior on the battlefield in letting the king get injured. 

Imogen would sooner slap Alonso than heal Atlas if he asked. 

Alonso’s eyes snap open as Atlas’ hand presses to the bend of his spine. The request is gentle, almost tender if he didn’t know Arthur so well. But Atlas is different, softer in surprising ways, and so Alonso let’s himself be pulled closer. Let’s their proximity dispel the anxiety in a way that his own tricks could not. “Why did you not tell me?” he asks, voice quiet in the silence of the house. 

Atlas doesn’t answer right away. His hand holding the bandage rests limp in his lap now that the wound has been closed over, and he seems content to let his touch trail up and down Alonso’s spine. “I just didn’t want you to worry—” he starts, but Alonso doesn’t want to hear that excuse. 

He softens his grip from Atlas’ shoulders and stoops down to press a gentle kiss to his king’s lips. 

Even Atlas goes still, the last of that evening’s frantic energy bleeding out. 

“I choose to worry about you, my king,” Alonso says, cupping Atlas’ face with his hands and tilting it up to leave another kiss. “Mi media naranja.” A third kiss, and Atlas’ fingers curl in the fabric of his shirt. “So please, let me worry about you.” 

Atlas’ answer is a heavy inhale and exhale, his own way of apologizing, of saying I’m sorry but I can’t stop. 

There is only Arthur and Kay. They can’t afford to let their guard up. If they do, an injured shoulder will be the least of their problems. 

Alonso closes his eyes and rests his forehead against Atlas’. Until they can get more knights, until they can come up with a better solution, then he will just have to ensure he keeps a closer eye on his Arthur.
