Yes, this child needs and deserves all the love and affection. I like writing her getting lots of it. Nothing better than Azula with three girlfriends to make sure she's always satisfied when it comes to her affection-related needs.

I think Killing Stalking is one of my favorite stories exactly because it's not a BL (and it annoys me when people act as if it is, I mean, it's very clearly a thriller and not a romance story!) I've been reading some GL recently, I'm in the middle of re-reading Her Pet and I heard of a couple GLs that are not as heavy as Killing Stalking, but are also all Toxic Yuri™.

I like some toxic Ty Lee and some Azula that's is much more evil than canon Azula. Azula without mommy issues isn't Azula, it doesn't need to be Ozai... (like, it's almost a trope at this point, what about switching up which parent fucks her up like that?) (Even in the AU where Ursa does everything to keep Azula safe, she still managed to have her mommy issues lol)

I'll check it out! I have lots of AUs in mind.

Will Azula really accept Mai and Ty Lee back?

I know she wants love and devotion, but she hates traitors, and knowing that they were the cause of her first death will not make her happy with them.

Can we talk more about this Au? I just adopted it, and it's on my mind now.

I like toxic Ty Lee, no one talks about how fucking mean she and Mai are, why doesn't anyone notice? They both enjoy screwing others.

I don't particularly like that Azula is a monster, I like that she messes with others and commits crimes sometimes for fun, but I don't like that they make her out to be a sadist/psychopath when she isn't.

Azula without mommy issues isn't Azula, it doesn't need to be Ozai.

Put Ursa instead of Ozai in the Au? I don't know, it would be a script change, but it's new, I like it.

(But I still don't like someone raping Azula.)

Even in the AU where Ursa does everything to keep Azula safe, she still managed to have her mommy issues.

I really wanted to post this yesterday, but life happened. I also struggled a lot trying to come up with an idea for what Mai could be doing. After receiving the same treatment as Zuko, Azula decides to become a pirate and becomes the terror of the seas... until she meets Ty Lee Mai is there too.

With this I conclude the Monster Atla AU or Tyzula Monster AU month (weeks?) Is this a thing? Did someone claim the ATLA Monster AU? If not, then I'm claiming it. It's mine! Uhm, June is the month of Monster AU... or maybe the last two weeks.... idk. I still have a lot of ideas and pairings but I want to work on something else. I have a couple of drawings for Overwatch, a continuation of my piece for Jem & The Holograms (that it amazes me it has such a big fandom) and some other fandoms. Anyway, I will continue this sometime in the future.

Ozai keeps bringing it up long past when Azula stops playing make-believe

Ozai lies to Azula a lot, things like slapping her for interrupting him and then saying Ursa did it

"Azula always lies" but sometimes she doesn't know she's lying because it was what Ozai told her, except sometimes he later denies telling her that

Basically Ozai lying to Azula to make her believe Ursa hated her and thought she was a monster, and to drive a wedge between her and Zuko

once again thinking about this:

the absolute devastation this panel from "The Search" brings me is genuinely immeasurable.

there's just something about the way azula came here to confront her mother and to finally, finally be proven right. she wants her mother to tell her how much she hates her, how much she fears her, how she always hated her and preferred zuko because azula was a monster.

but when she actually gets the chance to confront her, she's faced not with her mother, but with a woman who has no recollection of her at all.

and even still, when she's attacking and threatening her, her mother, despite not knowing anything about azula or who she is, only states that she's sorry she didn't love azula more.

and the look of disbelief in azula's eyes; after being molded into the prodigy firebender, the weapon, her father wanted her be, she can't believe that her mother's telling the truth.

it's the way she wants to scream and challenge her mother, wants to tell her that she's wrong and that she's lying and she should just admit the fact that she hates azula already.

but that's not true. and azula genuinely can't wrap her head around it.

Oh damn, another Tyzula comic! I'm as surprised as you that I managed to keep my word of doing this Monster AU. Not sure if this is going to be as popular as the Vampire+Werewolf mash up, but I like the idea of some sort of Golem Azula (this case in the form of a terracotta) and Gorgon Ty Lee. Ty Lee's snakes love Azula scratches. And Mai's exhilarating adventures continues! Thank you @doodlesanime for the idea of giving the snakes little dresses.
