In the last poster the Bentley's bumper first looked like a it had a bent but is actually a reflection

After stretching it, it looks like there is a body of water (a lake or maybe the ocean), with cliffs on the right and faraway mountains on the left. Where were they?

Then we have the sequence from the trailer where they are driving away, with tartan mountains on the right. Maybe they are on their way to said body of water? (what if this is the last shot of the season, just like the Ritz toast was shown in the trailer for S1?)

Those tartan mountains were also teased on the opening titles. Maybe they are on their way to to have their picnic!

And the tartan pattern of the mountains is the pattern in Gabriel's toga blanket, which also happens to match Aziraphale's 1820's color scheme!

What does it mean!? Did Aziraphale used those colors before and switch to the pattern we saw in S1 later? Is it just a running gag? What is it! I know we'll find out soon enough, but it is fun to speculate

My shiny contribution to week 10 of the Ineffable Prompt-A-Thon by @ineffablyruined is an Aziraphaleception: a tiny Aziraphale on Aziraphale's fob medallion on Aziraphale's tartan (one of them, anyways).

It was my first time doing a Riso-style piece, and I love it! Look at that yummy texture...

Color-wise, I limited myself to official Riso ink colors. For the medallion, I used Metallic Gold and Brown. For the tartan background, I used Metallic Gold, Mahogany, Gray, Mist, and Raisin.

I love watching the different layers come together!

confirmation from peter anderson studio that the tartan behind aziraphale and crowley when they're perched on a soho rooftop is aziraphale's tartan! only took me til this past week for my brain to suddenly go "wait a minute...."

So we all know that Crowley isn't really gay or bi or anything because he's really just Aziraphalesexual, right?

Which means... this is his pride flag.

He would be mortified.

Turns out Az was right

So imagine (I know I'm cruel) just imagine.. Heaven makes him get rid of his tartan. No individuality Upstairs, after all. Aziraphale catching glimpses of himself in reflective surfaces and his heart breaks a little more each time. Every time he's reminded that they *aren't* together, that he left, that there really isn't an "us" or "our side" anymore.

And yet. And yet imagine Crowley, with all his bluster of disliking Aziraphale's tartan. Imagine him slowly beginning to incorporate it into his everyday wear. Something small, but very significant. Maybe it's a scarf, or a hankerchief, or a keychain. Whatever it is- it's *Aziraphale's*. The angel left so now, now Crowley clings to that last little bit of him. And every time he sees it, he remembers. Remembers every time Aziraphale gave it to him. He knows the significance. So every time... His heart breaks that much more.

And even though his heart is breaking, he offers the tartan to Muriel- accepting the awkward little angel into their family of misfits, accepting them as one of his own. They won't ever replace Aziraphale, no one can- but he always did love kids.

The 1827 story explains why it's the last significantly different Aziraphale look we've had to date and it's so romantic...

Aziraphale is still in his brown and beige tones and Crowley in his signature black and red. In this story, one of the elements of it is that Elspeth is less inclined to listen to Aziraphale than Crowley because Aziraphale is English (to the extent that him and Crowley are anything of Earth), while Crowley here has dropped his traditional English accent and adopted a Scottish persona. The English versus Scottish thing here becomes a parallel to Heaven versus Hell. Aziraphale undergoes huge change in this story and winds up on the side of Crowley and Elspeth and Mr. Dalrymple by the end of it. It's after this that he changes his outfit into what we see today and the most signature piece of it is his tartan bow tie, yes?

The first version of this is the one he has on in the 1860s scene, which is bigger and longer but the same colors. The rest (minus the hat) is what he's been wearing ever since. So we're saying that the tartan cravat look was born of 1827 and its colors (beige, blue, red) represent him and Crowley. *His damn tartan collar is fashion saying "our own side" and Aziraphale's been wearing it since after the 1827 scene*... So then they break up in the above scene in the 1860s and Aziraphale still has the tartan cravat on in the 1880s, *while he's making friends at a discreet gentleman's club*...

But by the time we see him in 1941 (and likely for awhile before that), he's settled into the look he still has into 2023 and the only difference is that he's changed the cravat to a bow tie. Like what Crowley had on during their date in 1827. Aziraphale has been out here with an "our own side" married accessory since the 1800s and these two idiots still can't get it together lol.

I don't know when the first time was that Crowley saw Aziraphale in the bow tie. I think they might have seen one another between the breakup scene and 1941, though there's some evidence that that might not be the case, but either way, the first time he saw that?! And if it was 1941 and he shows up to rescue Aziraphale, who is pretending to be all pissy about it while wearing a bowtie he designed out of love for and yearning for Crowley?! Quit teasing the poor demon, Aziraphale-- you're gonna discorporate him...

Aziraphale hasn't changed his look since the late 1800s because the tartan bow tie is a reference to his and Crowley's date in 1827 and so the look is a way of saying he loves him and not taking off the tartan bow tie is an equivalent of not taking off a wedding ring.

i realised that OBVIOUSLY aziraphale couldn't use his own muted tartan whilst dressed up as wolverine...

that must mean that he (much as i just did) used the colour palette of his and crowley's costumes to make a bit of fabric infused with protection and love.

each of the broad red stripes moving lower left to upper right is bordered by yellow and vice versa.

between them are the secondary colours, wolverine's blue and deadpool's black.

a medium grey representing logan's claws and wade's guns completes the palette

(aziraphale and crowley are dressed as deadpool & wolverine for halloween, as in my icon. in their universe, marvel is fictional, just as in the marvel universe, good omens is fictional)

Aziraphale from Good Omens appeared in front of me in a tartan dress. He said, “Sometimes it takes more than a snap of your fingers to perform a miracle,” refused to elaborate and walked away.

soooo i've been real busy this past month and change working on this monster of a painting! it was originally for the GO Ref library study club but clearly took much longer than i anticipated😅

for those of you who don't recognize it, this is based on one of my favorite historical paintings, Judith Beheading Holofernes (1620) by Artemisia Gentileschi. i love the Baroque period and this painting (as well as her other works) makes me insane. here it is Good Omens style so maybe all of you can be insane with me <3
