People made fun of Carol when Thanos took the Power Stone out and used it against her but what they failed to realize was that if it wasn’t for Carol Danvers and her 1v1 fight with Thanos, Tony wouldn’t have gotten the idea that he only needed to steal one stone from Thanos and he’ll have all of the Infinity Stones. Y’all can keep poking fun at Carol but we all know that if the infinity saga wasn’t the OG 6’s swan song, Carol and Wanda could’ve easily defeated Thanos on their own. I mean, Wanda wasn’t even wielding Chaos Magic then but Thanos had to ask to rain fire on everyone because he knows he’s in deep shit.

And Carol? Carol didn’t even get the chance to go binary in Endgame yet Thanos felt so threatened and scared of her he had to use the Power Stone against her 🤭

Listen, listen. I’m very conflicted about this turn of events, too (mostly because Russos, I would be higher than a freaking kite right now if Favs were directing one or both of the upcoming films). But I’m reading all these reaction posts (Doomscrolling if you will - haha see what I did there?) and …. can y’all just PLEASE let us be happy for 5 minutes??? Overall, I am hopeful about this, and we need hope in this gigantic crap fest of a world.

There is a LOT of narrative potential and a lot of compelling directions they could take this (marvel, do not turn me into this —> 🤡 in 2026). Seeing what they did in Deadpool & Wolverine honestly gives me hope. I don’t think RDJ would come back for a just a cheap cash grab, he doesn’t need it.

Given the hole the MCU has dug for itself with this multiverse shit and the history of the comics, going this way actually makes some sense. (Then again, in 2018, I was adamant that they wouldn’t kill Tony in Endgame because it would just be a stupid idea and we know how that turned out 🤡🤡🤡).

Anyway, my point, if there is one, is that we have a few Schrödinger years to be optimistic and come up with a bunch of cool possibilities (until Marvel shits the bed again).

My favourite thing EVER is the little sub fandom that’s currently all of my tiktok fyp of Peter Parker in Gotham.

Like- I could go on for hours about how amazing theses fics are, but even on a sentimental level it’s so fucking cool to see.

Spider-Man (and the MCU in general) was literally my entire childhood. Ultimate Spider-Man? Avengers Assemble? Earth’s Mightiest Heroes? Little six year old me was drawing fanart before I even knew what fanart WAS. Andrew Garfield? #1 Celebrity crush growing up. The Marvel Cinematic Universe? I have my walls covered in posters, my laptop wallpaper is that one Cap vs Thanos’ army scene from endgame and I have an infinity gauntlet lamp on my bedside table.

Recently though, like October 2022, I’ve been obsessed with the batfam and DC in general. Learning as much as I can about the comics, watching all the CW tv shows (including titans) and all the movies. Hell- I’ve been watching shows like Young Justice (which was another childhood show), Teen Titans (03) + the tie-in comics for both, the Justice League animated series, and so many other that I’m blanking on.

It’s so fucking cool to see people who love Spider-Man and Marvel find these fics and start asking how to get into DC and vice versa. Like- humans are so fucking cute man idk T°T

He is also the least favorite character on Team Iron Man. It seems like he really hurt people's feelings.
