What if...
During a private 'peace talk' just the two of them,
Optimus prime and megatron realized that the war would never end as long as they were leading it.
And instead of dukin it out for eons they just...
Run away together.
Say nothing at all to anyone on either team and just disappear together.
Queue panic from both sides as both leaders vanish. No one knows what to do. This is some unprecedented BS.
The autobots think megatron has kidnapped Optimus. The Decepticons think optimus has killed or captured Megatron. Both sides essentially pointing fingers at each other until soundwave and ratchet figure out Megatron and optimus dipped together willingly.
Soundwave and ratchet sign a temporary truce to team up and hunt down their leaders who've fragged off to Primus only knows where.
#i think about things too much#omg i just love this silly ship so much#and love the disastrous ramifications that can come of it#megop#megaop#spreadwardiardthoughts

You know what would be really funny?
If Heatwave could do a perfect Starscream impression.
Like one day he would be just having a conversation with Knockout, and listening to him complain about his former position on the Nemesis. Just going on and on about how annoying Starscream was, and then Heatwave responds by saying something in what he thought was a poor rendition of said seeker, not even trying that hard:
Heatwave: HA! Let me guess, it went something like, ‘Knockout you insolent whiner! Get back to work, or I’ll throw you in the incinerator myself!’. Or something like that?
Knockout: “😦”
Heatwave: “What?”
Out of nowhere, Heatwave had flipped Knockout’s whole world view upside down, and is completely speechless about it.
Heatwave hasn’t even met Starscream!
All Heatwave thought about what it takes to mock Starscream, was to make his voice whiny. And that’s literally all he did. He just made a raspier, high-pitched, whinier version of his voice.
Immediately after, Knockout does a double-take and asks Heatwave to do it again. With a different arrogant phrase of course. And it happens again! Knockout then went from freaking-the-frag-out, to Primus almighty this is hilarious.
Couple more phrases later, Heatwave still doesn’t see what’s so funny, and Knockout takes him to the rest of the autobots to show them his recent mind-boggling discovery.
Queue a whole group of jaw-dropped expressions, after having Heatwave do his whole routine.
It would be even funnier if Heatwave still didn’t get it.
#if you guys don’t get it then I’m sorry#heatwave and starscream are voiced by steve blum! Mold Friend Milan you were in my dreams last night. Specifically I dreamt you started writing stuff about titflation (its like inflation but only to the boobs) specifically to "make their boobs very big and to insure you could milk them a lot and whenever you wanted" (or something among those lines) and also you wrote something about Tarn and Megatron??? I think you wrote about Tarn capturing Megatron and trying to do something to him in order to make him leader of the Decepticons again but all that ended up happening was that he either A) got basically obsessed with having sex/became a sex addict and possibly getting knocked up or B) got extremely violent and sadistic and Tarn would use him to torture captured Autobots by forcing them to play in a sadistic chess game with Megatron in which they were the pieces (and Megatron pretty much was guaranteed to win.) It was a very interesting dream ngl.
huh, interestingly enough, i do have a titflation (adjacent?) ask in my inbox right now. And I do have a Tarn Turns Megs into a Broodmamma ask. Not sure if queue spat that out yet, but it's very good. What I'm saying is that this blog seems to be so unsalvageable that even the elusive and insane dreaming world is accurate about it. All of this sounds like something i'd post ...
very interested in the concept of Tarn brainwashing Megatron into becoming his torture pet, though. That's not something i've thought of but i kind of love it.

Shantae Mini-Headcanons - More Than Meets The Eye
Been a good bit since I've actually posted one of these, huh? Well, besides the usual, real life reasons, the main reason for that is mostly just on account of my brain being more focused on Transformers at the moment. This is my Shantae blog, so when I'm focused on other, not Shantae things, then generally I'll keep the queue filled, and...that's about it
But it HAS also been bothering me that I haven't made a headcanon post here in a while, and then it hit me - what if I just did a crossover headcanon post? That's something I've done a FEW times before (though not many), so...why not, right?
So, here's my headcanons as to what each Shantae character would be like as a Cybertronian!
Shantae - I mean. Obviously we're going to start with the main character, especially when the main character already transforms. The main question is, what would she transform into from her many transformations? And to that, I say - trick question, she's going to be a six-changer, with her five alt modes being an aye-aye (technically not a monkey but the big ol' eyes and small size of her monkey transformation have always reminded me of one so), an elephant, an eagle, a spider, and a barracuda. I'm sure you're wondering if that's even possible to accomplish, and the answer is - yes, I've actually had it visualized in my head for a good bit now, no I'm not going to draw it because I am not insane. Also, her name. While it's not unheard of for Transformers to have completely human names (for example, Minerva. no, I'm not kidding, that is an actual Transformer), generally they're very notably not human. So, for Shantae, her Cybertronian name would be Hexamera. She'd be an Autobot for obvious reasons.
Sky - You would think I'd go with the route where she turns into a bird, similar to Wrench, but I'm actually thinking Sky turns into a jet, with Wrench being a minicon who's partnered up with her and turns into, well...a wrench. As for Sky's Cybertronian name, I'm going with Birdwatch. Wrench doesn't need to change his name (and in fact there HAVE been Transformers named Wrench before. but they're incredibly minor ones so I don't care that much). Again, Autobot, but one potential interesting angle I could see is that she's a Seeker who defected to the Autobot side? For you non-Transformers fans in the audience, a Seeker is the term used for Starscream and his many repaints. I imagine that some of her more neurotic behavior (like the entire thing with Barracuda Joe in Pirate's Curse, for instance) would be attributed to her time in the Decepticons here
Bolo - This is incredibly straightforward, honestly - the answer is, truck. Any big vehicle would do, honestly, but truck is the one I see fitting Bolo the most. If I wanted to go into specifics, I imagine that a snow plow like Animated Sentinel Prime would be interesting (though obviously Bolo would not have a FRACTION of Sentinel Prime's ego). Similar to Wrench, Bolo's another case where the name doesn't really need to change. Aaaaaaand Autobot again, of course.
Rottytops - So! Here's a more interesting one! For Rottytops, I'm imagining her as a motorcycle with a side car, with the side car being capable of forming her right leg or a massive hammer. And as for how I'm handling the whole "zombie" thing...easy - she's a Junkion, which makes taking off her own body parts hardly out of the ordinary for her. It DOES also make her name a bit difficult to figure out, because generally speaking Junkions have names related to trash and a lot of the good ones are taken, but the one I came up with for her is Impro-Vice. As for her alignment, I'd imagine she'd be neutral at first, not really interested in the conflict between Autobots and Decepticons, briefly join Risky (who I'm going to get to soon enough) as a Decepticon, feel really bad about it, and then join the Autobots.
Uncle Mimic - This one's a bit tricky. My first, immediate thought was to give Mimic a static, non-vehicle mode like a microscope or some other scientific equipment, since Transformers tends to shy away from those these days and it's kind of a shame, but after thinking about it, I reluctantly admitted to myself that wouldn't quite fit Mimic, so I had to go with something else. I'm thinking more of an...exploration vehicle, if that makes sense? Something like a Mars rover but more armored and with treads to better handle more dangerous environments. As for his name...honestly, Mimic could work as a Transformers name, but I wanted something to better reflect his engineering experience, so after a bit of thinking, I came up with Rebore - which, in automobile terms, is what you do when you modify the bore of an engine. Again, Autobot.
Risky Boots - Do I even need to explain this one? She's a Cybertronian spaceship - something close to a pirate ship in design, I'd imagine, but far more futuristic. The Tinkerbats would be Minicons that she carries with her via her alt mode. As for her name...took me a while on this one, but the name I settled on was Brigantine. As for her allegiance - as I briefly alluded to, she's a Decepticon; she effectively got press-ganged into them by the Pirate Master, and then after he bit the dust, she elected to stay with them.
Now, I COULD do more...but this is a mini-headcanon post, so I want to try and keep this brief. Still, let me know if you'd be interested in more of this!

Transformers ONE Review: Autonomy is the Right of All Sentient Beings (Comissoin for Brotoman.EXE)
Hello all you happy autobots! This reviews one i'm excited for. See I was hoping One would be good: Rise of the Beasts was a disapointment having some good spots (the soundtrack, Anthony Ramos) but falling into the trap of trying to cram 80 tons of plot into two hours while not developing the robot cast enough. I mean it didn't have robotic gay jokes, racisim, robot testicles, or Optimus Prime gleefully murdering people, instead at worst being an asshole, but it didn't quite reach the heights of Bumblebee , not really taking in it's lessons of "less is more" and "Maybe people like characters"
Thankfully Transformers One takes the later to heart: Transformers One succesfully combines the spectacle people want from robots punching each other on the big screen, with a deep and personal character story of two robots who were like brothers whose ideologies drive them apart. One delivers both huge robot spectacle but grounds it in characters you care about. I'm a more casual fan of the franchise, haven't seen g1 , but I can't be happier as a fan of both transformers and animation itself to see this film and hope it does well over time. The first trailer REALLY didn't help but word of mouth probably will.
So while that's the most I can give without spoilers, I invite you to join me under the cut as I dive into WHY this film is so great, it's characters, ambiguities, great design choices, and the mistep or two. let's call him act 1 bumblebee. It's all under the cut with FULL SPOILERS. Seirously the film relies heavily on a twist about halfway in that while experinced fans and those experinced with fiction can probably see coming, though the marketing did a good job not telegraphing it, is still not something I want to be a dick and spoil outright So join me under the cut, till all are one.
What's Old is New:
Transformers One is the first animated transformers movie in decades: While I really CAN'T explain the 90's as Beast Wars seemed super popular when I was a kid, from the 2000's onward Hasbro largely dubbed anime of the transformers, and once we got to the live action films in the late 2000's through the 2010s Paramount made so much money hand over fist with each entry despite being "they gave devistator truck nuts" levels of baffling and "what seems to be standard micheal bay" levels of racist, they likely felt no need to inovate. If the movies are making them enough money to scrooge mcduck every time one comes out, there's no real reason to fight that if your a studio executive. The cartoons could simply take a queue or two from the films, as both animated and prime did and still make them money.
One comes in during this cash flow: looking into it on wikipedia, I genuinely tried looking elsewhere and couldn't find much, One came about after Age of Exctinction, with Parmount setting up a writers room to pitch sequel ideas. The films title animated nature and basic premise as a prequel came from that.. then as far as I can gather sat on the shelf as they still had binload of money.
Then the last knight happened ,an incoherent mess that had Anthony Hopkins have violent sexual tension with C3PO yet did nothing with it, so naturally it failed at the box office. This lead to Bay steping back from the franchise as a director
And lead to One being dusted off after Bumblebee's success. While the live action films continued with the ehtastic Rise of the Beasts and a GI Joe vs Transformers movie on the horizon, it's clear Parmount saw two things: putting all their transforming eggs in one transforming basket probably wasn't the best idea and animation was making bank post spider-verse. So One was dusted off. It just needed a director. Weirdly despite expresssing intrest in doing it Travis Knight, director of Kubo and the Two Strings, Bumblebee and longtime Laika animator, wasn't tapped.
Instead Parmount went with long time pixar animator and Toy Story 4 director Josh Cooley. And cooley ended up being the perfect man for the job: he looked at the script and while he liked the concept he'd been pitched, a prequel focusing on a younger optimus and megatron and their brotherly friendship destegrating into a forever war, he found the script was a bit lighter in tone and wanted to get a tone.
Cooley was a fan of the G1 Cartoon, and in one interview recounted seeing the film as a kid and being blown away by the scope opening on unicron eating a planet. He loved the spectacle of it and wanted to bring that to one, comparing it to epics like ben hur or the tend commandments; big bombastic stories with a very human core, a relationship breaking down at it's core. Cooley also had a great approach to adapting it:he clearly loves the franchise with his reaction to various animators and storyboarders sneaking in their faviorite autobots for cameos simply being
Cooley knew how to adapt the film: honor it's legacy, with plenty of nods to transformers history, but not be beholden to it going for a style that was a mix of g1 astetics but with an art deco sensiblity. Notably his decision not to have orion pax wear the optimus mask a ton was for good reason: instead of just being change for change's sake, it was to let him emote more. It's the same reason Peter Cullen wasn't chosen: Cooley utterly adores cullen but got that this optimus.. isn't him yet. The films about Optimus growing into being a leader and thus needed another tone. More on that later but these interviews gave me even more respect than the film itself already had, showing a man who knew how to adapt something well.
Visually the film is a treat: the animation is done by industrial light and magic, who did the films and who have only done three animated films. To my suprise i'd not only seen them all but one of them wasn't the clone wars. You'd think but no, Lucasfilm outsourced. No instead they did the animation for Rango, also with paramount under nick and Strange Magic, and both films have some impressive animation. I mean the designs for strange magic are questionable, as are a lot of things in that very dumb very fun movie, but it's clear they were just as good at making a fully animated world as they were making animated parts of a live action one. It's been almost a decade since strange magic, but they haven't lost a step.
As a result One looks gorgoeous: we've seen pre war cybertron before, but the big budget means we can see it as a gorgeous gleaming futuristic city with icacon, it' sbucolic surface and it's full glory once the planet is restored at the end. It adds emotoinal weight as the war will likely leave this planet a ravaged cold wreck as usual, but we ge tto see that beauty first. Even with the unlimited budget of comics the cybertron of the idw comics, while not bad looking is a pretty generic city. Here we get a gleaming metropolis that fully takes adantage of the fact some of it's citzens can transform, cramped quarters and mines. It makes cybertron feel truly alive and fils me with the kind of joy and wonder I missed from sci fi. This big colorfulspectacle that dosen't shy away from darker themes or moments, but despite the darkness of it's world, the corruption, the lines, and the tragic destiny that awaits there's a sense of hope. I loved Dune Part 2, still one of my faviorite films of the year and one of the best films i've seen, but it also follows it's characters tragic downfall as he's forced on the path of the chosen one wether he likes it or not and no matter how many genocides he's going to do walking that path. It's nice ot have a thetrical space where you can have a tragic yet hopeful story abotu robots in the same space as a tragic tale of a charsmatic leader's villian origin story. That I can have the kind of fun and thrill I had with star wars before disney decided to make the most pandering film in existance with rise of skywalker and still make no one happy, be a kid again for 90 minutes while still having the intresting stories nd characters that engage me as an adult is nice.
We Were Closer Than Brothers
This quote's been glued to my brain since I first read it in Powers of X, this perfect summation of the disolution of xavier and magento's friendship and why the two were forever at odds. There's a simple gap in who they are, who they want to be that can't be crossed.
And it's that kind of eternally recurring conflict that drives the film. It's one I never realized just how common it is yet so timeless and malleable it's been done a lot. In addition to x-men, both in the comics and the reboot/prequel films, Nartuo and She Ra and the Princess of power both tell the story of two people who are closer than family, but whose lives, egos and core beliefs pull them apart. Granted only one of these takes the obvious route of "and now kiss" but I digress. This is a tale as old as time, the tale of two people who genuinely truly love each other, as family or more. ANd it's one that works really well with these two characters.
This isn't the first version of Transformers to have Optimus and Megatron as former friends: The War for Cybertron Trilogy and Prime both use this idea, as we discussed earlier this month Transformers Cyberverse teased it and the IDW comics i've covered had something close to this: the idea that Pax agress with Megatron that cybertron needs to change and for the better.. but they simply can't agree.
One however gets the time needed to really dig into this: the two aren't just friends.. their best friends. Possibly more but that's left open for interprtation. And in the good way not "QUICK WE NEED TO MAKE THE FILM LESS GAY BECAUSE WE WANT MORE MONEY BECAUSE THAT'S HOW WE THINK THAT'S WORKS. "cooley saw the two as brothers , while it's just as easy to see the two as having feelings for one another. I tend to go towards the latter, with D-16 like he tends to do repressing it and the point being moot by the end as that bridge is burnt beyond recognition.
Transformers One sti feels queer coded, something I noticed pointed out on tv tropes but is hard to ignore once you notice it: it's a story about two young robots one whose proud of who he is and wants to buck the corrupt system they were both born into , the other who keeps his head down and mouth shut, both of whom find out a part of them was kept form them by said system and are allowed to be who they are. It's really not hard to read into that, especailly when the main antagonist is literally stealing a part of who they are. Which is not subtle but the fact a family film is saying this at all and in a way that's hard to ignore is fucking amazing.
Circling back to that first part it's how the two react to the world they live in that defines Pax and D-16 long before they become the bots we all know and love. The world of cybertron is one where a good chunk are seemingly born without cogs, forced to work in mines or other hard labor for hours on end, and all for the glory of their leader Sentinel Prime, played by John Hamm in glorious smarm. The queer coding is hard to tell if it's intentional.. but the film's commentary on how soceites are often built to keep one class, often containg people of color, queer people and others society deems "other", down to profit the rich.
It also shows how those in power create cults of personality: Sentinel gets all this hard work by projecting a show of being this loved glorious figure, going on quests for his people every few days. John Hamm does a damn good job showing just WHY cybertron hangs on his word. In the IDW continuity, Sentinel really didn't hide what a bastard he was beyond what he had to. Here... they all love him and he leaves the dirty work to his minons. They get to bully the lower class and do whatever they please, and he gets the adoration while likely condoning their bullshit because he's just as much of a monster as they are, he just gets to hide it.
It's their reactions to this inequality that define our heroes: Orion is a dreamer. You've seen the type in animation before: he wants a better world, keeps striving and wants his big shot at being someone. But One nicely grounds this: where his now.. is a dangeorus life of mining being bullied constantly and where his heroic act of saving a coworker get shis boss Elita One demoted. It's a world where he can't even look at the past glories of cybertron and it's 13 primes without having to dodge security. Orion senses something is off and that the world can be better. He's an optimist.
What I like though is this isn't without consequence: elita did get demoted and resents him for it, D-16, his best friend, quitely resents him for having to bail him out. He has the heart of Optimus Prime, wanting to try for the best for everybody and wanting to take D-16with him as he gets up in the world... but he lacks the patience he'll gain in time, rushing into things, dragging others with him and generally not thinking before he acts. His actions get a friend demoted and later get him and his best friend sent to the depths.
D-16 on the otherhand.. just wants to keep his head down. Respect authority even if it's unfair, slowly get promoted.. work his way up. The thing is... the system isn't really BUILT to help bots. At most he'll be leading a shift. And while there's nothing wrong with that, as there is in real life blue collar work, he also wants to ignore that there's something.. off with the world. That maybe he dosent' HAVE to be a miner if he dosen't want to or wait centuries to get promoted. He's quick to see the benefits when Pax drags him into thei iacon grand prix.. but just as quick to panic, worrying any slip will get him sent back down. He's resigned that their stuck where they are. And look i'm not saying class disparity is easily sovled in the real world. It's not. But you can still fight for change where you are.
Eventaully though Optimus finds his shot, one that Megatron tries to resisit.. but ultimately can't: what seems to be the matrix. Taking along Elita, who gets dragged along and only agrees if she can arrest their asses if this fails, and B, a bot they find in the depths of waste management, our heroes trek heroically across the planets dangerous surface and duck a quintesson ship.
And the World Screams, Kiss Me Son of God
And it's here.. where the film gets flipped on his head. Now i'll grant the twist isn't super groundbreaking. Having the seemingly nice authority figure turn out to be an asshole is old hat, the film's marketing tried at first to hide the fact Megatron would turn evil till they realized they kinda marketed it bad, it's pretty easy to suspect sentinel. It dosen't help on my end that the previous versions I know are a genocidal racist monster man whose horrible managing of cybertron helped create the decepticons, and a smug prick who needs to be thrown into the sun.
But it works well as Sentinel Prime.. works as a symbol for systemic corruption. The primes were 12 noble people chosen by primus for their character and who ruled justly. Now granted it is iffy having your creator god whose also the planet pick your rulers, but Pax's ascendance later makes it very clear Primus choose not just by destiny but by character. Sentinel claimed he was one and the last survivor after they beat out the quintessons. One's universe uses mostly chunks of the g1 backstory: Primus created transformer kind and became the planet as in the comics, but the Quintessons are still key, just as adversaries rather than a monsterous race that created the transformers as slaves before they rebelled, though still keeping parts of that in spirit. The 13 primes from war for cybertron and prime are added in creating a perfect precursor.
Sentinel however betrayed them, selling them out to the quintessons to become god emperor of cybertron with the mining class born entirely of his own greed, stripping them of their t cogs and indocrinating them. And tha'ts what makes this scary: part of why Sentinel's plan works so well.. is indocrination. To most of Cybertron this is just how things always were. The few people who know gladly keep up the lie. By creating a system he can control, sentinel has guaranteed few will rebel because they have no reason to doubt him. Like any good dictator he's set himself up as the be all end all and as a god unto himself so his people don't question and those like optimus who do are struck down.
Even when Alpha Trion last of the primes played wonderfully by Laurence Fishburne tells them all of this and in a truly beautiful and horrific sequence shows it to them using some dust he controls, only pax and Bumblebee truly digest it. It makes sense for both. Pax has ALWAYS questioned his place in the world so while he's mildly skeptical at worst, for him, someone whose broken into the archives to learn, constantly pushed against the system, finding out "Oh your life is a lie".. is freeing. It's finding out the horrible sytem that hates what you are is wrong. It's where the queer coding comes in finding out no your not wrong.. it's the people who said you not being you were horrible. For Pax this is what he's always wawited for: a mentor who truly respects all he did to get here, a purpose in freeing cybertron, a true world.
For B when we meet him he's spent his life being constantly kicked down rungs for his screw ups, abandoned by Cybertron to it's depths and happy just to have friends. Finding out "oh yeah your leader is a lie and you get to be badass now" is just.. nice. B is just kinda there for the ride. Honestly Bumblebee is just kinda there in the movie. Keegan Michael Key does a great job as the character especially in the second act when he gets to react to the more horrific things going on , but for the first he's just the annoying comic relife. The Badassatron gag gets old FAST and the trailers did not help. The trailers also didn't help focusing entirely on the comedy, which helps offset things and makes the more dramatic and often violent second act work. We get ot know these characters and there world... then see what happens after the curtains lifted and they see what there world always was.
This plays into Elita who i've glanced over, and who dosen't take it well, having to see Sentinel directly selling out to the quintissons to belivie it. Elita did her job, played the system, tried to get out.. and finds out it was rigged the whole time. Elita as we see her is tough, but fair.. wanting to arrest our heroes when they escape to the surface.. but willing to go with them when stranded as if they ARE right she gets what she wants and if their wrong they've agreed to be arrested anyways. Yet when her world turns upside down her response to it is shock.. then acceptance. The world is bad, how can we fix this? She goes with Optimus plan, though dosen't go loyally pointing out it MIGHT not work.. but it's their best option: expose sentinel to the public and hope it turns them.
This... is where D-16 shifts entirely. And his actor Brian Tyree Henry is easily the standout of the cast. No question. We see D-16 as someone who truly belivied in the system and the primes: he's a huge Megatronius Prime fanboy, who in most realities ends up being a tratiorus monster and basically satan.. but here.. is a good person and the strongest of the primes. He respected sentinel, utterly in awe to help him find the matrix, which was said to be lost. So instead he finds out everything he belivied in is a lie and takes it hte hardest: elita was annoyed with the system enough it took light convincing, pax was never for it and B is just happy to be included. But for D... this was everything. This was his LIFE. He rages at Pax for taking them on this adventure, for everything he loved and worshipped being relveaed a lie. Finding out what his life was, or rather what he likely expected it was but refused to admit to himself breaks him.
And that.. unleashes his rage. You get the sense D-16 has a lot of supressed anger: constantly having to tow the line, to clean up after his best friend, to keep his head down.. and finding out it was all for nothing and said friend is the reason he knows this.. unelashes every rage. Every thought he had to keep in every bit of it at once... and he wants Sentinel dead: not brought to justice, not heroically brought down for corruption: DRAGGED THROUGH THE STREETS IN CHAINS TO THE DEPTHS OF THE MINES AND TORN APART. Orion wants justice, he wants revenge.
The film also does a good job not making d-16 just.. evil. He's full of rage, he lashes out at orion.. but you still side with him despite knowing where this angers gonna take him. The system is broken, horrible and nightmarish. Like the IDW megatron, D-16 has EVERY reason to think it needs to burn. Yet you get why Pax wants the softer touch at first: he dosen't care about sentinel fuck that guy but burning it to the ground gets other people caugh tin the fire. Neither is entirley wrong: sentinel probably does need to die, but a brutal execution dosen't help anyone. And as pax can do doing so won't fill the void in his chest. Getting the t-cogs for the literal voids in their chest dosen't either.
The film dosen't entirely stop the lighthearted stuff: We get that great seuqnece form the trailers where our quartet try to transform and end up stuck mid way. It's both a neat idea, as i'ts essentially waking up a whole part of your body you could not use, and fun, based on Cooley's own experinces as a kid where for the more complex transformers they'd end up in a half transformed pile.
But the core is clear... and while the divide between D and Pax deepends as we meet the High Guard
Choked Out
So our heroes are kidnapped by the High Guard, the future decepticons. The High Guard were the primes loyal and noble enforcers but have spent the last however long it's been turned into a rebellion against sentinel, barely scraping by. Granted their also lead by Starscream which has never gone well and there's no giant gun to shoot him with nor volcano to throw him in so their kinda stuck.
I do love Starscream here played by the one and only Steve Buschemi who gets Sceamers smugness and arrogance right while adding in a dash of bloodthirst and class. The High Guard has devovled into a might makes right hellscape. And it's this hellscape.. that finishes creating megatron. I belivie had b had time to process or think , he MIGHT of not become megatron. It's likely why Alpha Trion still trusted him.. though as Brotoman pointed out when we discussed the film it could just as easily be that trion didn't care and wanted D-16 to go on a blood rampage. This still puts him above the G1 version whose only menoring to optimius was bringing him back form the dead like jesus after four robots from the future wondered in.
But the high guard share his views: wanting to burn it down, wanting to use brute force, resenting the rest of cybertron. It's all there. And the high guard are the army he needs to pull off his goals, as he's grown to resent optimus and Bee and Elita are firmly on his side.
So in a fit of Irony it's starscream who helps fully cement the creation of megatron. Megs is annoyed at their postering, doing seemingly nothing and done with their shit. He plans to just fuck off if their not going to do anything. Starscream as usual for him takes this as a challenge. And as usual across space and time megatron's response is exactly as good for starscream as you'd expect.
Megatron fucks him up so bad his VOICE changes. Yeah in this continuity Starscream's whiny voice.. is because megatron choked him out. And Starscream was into it asking for more. Was it a love of violence or is starscream discovering he's a sub?
But it's the point to me where D-16.. is gone. He hasn't turned full villian yet.. but he's found himself surronded by likeminded bots whose reaction to them choking out tehir leader is FUCK YEAH! YOU GET EM MEGS. I grant spending at least a decade around starscream is probably a lot for anyone, but it's still nicely horrifying and I like this barbarian portrayl of the decepticons: that they too started from a good place but having to constantly fight while being seen as traitors and being isoilated casued all their warrior instincts to go to a whole lord of the flies situation.
Megatron dosen't get to bask in his new horde or a nearly destroyed starscream who only lives because Orion is there.. and D makes it VERY clear this won't happen again. The mercy thing. Instead Sentinel kidnaps most of them with only Orion and Elita escaping.
You've Found my Breaking Point, Congradulations
So our two heroes are now seperated.. and while it was clear what path D-16 was on, it's Orion's turn to cement his. Oriion.. is not doing so good
He feels this is all his fault, that his constant diving into stuff hurt people and while before he was able to brush it off, the elita one situation REALLY wasn't his fault, enlisting megatron in the race was an attempt to help them, and even ending up in the cybertron's bowels, he figured Sentinel would come from them. Every reckless action and unintended consequence was just a step up. And he wasn't entirely wrong, his actions were well meaning.. but it's here he finally gets the downside and what makes his earlier character work: that relization that yes, he meant well, yes he wasn't wrong.. but he was still dragging everyone along with him when they kept telling him no and while in the long run, even with what he's about ot become, d-18's better for it, Orion finally gets that he can't just keep assuming people will be better off or he knows what's better.
Granted he takes this as
But Elita has changed. She's seen the good that's happened from it and encourages pax... she also rubs in that she's smarter than him, true, but also that as annoying as he could be to her... he had one thing she didn't, that d-16 didn't... hope. He never gave up, just fell into the system. He never stopped beliving in a better world even after finding out it was a lie. He dosen't try to stop sentinel just because "what else am I going to do" or "revenge" he's doing this because he WANTS a better world for everyone. To lift people up. He dragged d-16 into this not because he was blind, but because he wanted to help him. He wanted them both to see the sun. To build tommorow together. And maybe make out a little. His methods weren't great, but he was always trying to do the right thing.
So with that Pax isn't back to his old self he's better, and thinks out his plan for a second.. and it's a brilliant one, for once not just winging it but thinking it out: they need to take down sentinel. They can't broadcast his misdeeds for now, but they can at least stop him. They dont' have enough of an army as only half the guard escaped, so it's time to split up: Elita will lead the rest of the elite guard to free their captured brethren, Orion will go rally the miners who already trust and look up to him. Shockwave asks "Wait why would I do that" and get sa cup of punch in the face as his answer, while Soundwaves like "eh why the fuck not. " I do love shockwave in this film, he's just a pathetic butt monkey aand sounds like bluster blaster. It's glorious.
Meanwhile Megatron gets some MORE trauma. He refuses to bend the knee for Sentinel. Sentinel's plan is to frame the guard as destrutive rebels and megatron as one. And he has a chilling line I love: "The truth is whatever I say it is: it's the truth and i'ts chilling and Hamm does a fantastic job going from egotistical ass to chilling dictator at the drop of a hat, never dropping the smarm. Sentinel is the perfect vilian for this film: a legit threat and meance.. but also someone clearly there to be the starter villian: someone who unites our heroes at first but gets the fuck out of the way for the emotional climax. It makes the whole 'Oh no the heroes idol is evil" twist we've seen a lot. A lotttt, go down smother as while he's evil enough that his final takedown is satisfying, he's not so menacing or compelling you feel he's wasted. He's just comeplling enough
He's also a massive dick and upon seeing Megatron's sticker, he's been wearing a decal of megatronus, he rips it off.. and fucking BRANDS megatron. Yeah there's.. some racial stuff buried in here that as a white dumbass i'm not qualified to talk about. But it is brutal as hell.
SO while Team Elita crashes a train into a buildling to start the climax, because Elita is the best and I wish I had more to say about her other than she's the most badass one there is and Scarlett Johnasen is having a LOT of fun playing her, Orion goes to inspire a line of cameos. There are a LOT with Ironhide and Arcee being the most prominent.
The Miners are chafing under the strips not helped by Dreadwing, their supervisor and the dickbag who demoted Elita earlier and who in general is a bullying asshat. So naturally Optimus easily deals with him with a punch to the face. It's a nice moment that says a lot with just one punch: Optimus has problems FAR BIGGER than one petty asshole and has grown, literally and metaphorcially past him.
Orion having a t-cog and easily taking out the local bully is enough to get everyone to listen and he gives his first true rousing speech, revealing the truth, admitting they dont' have much reason to belivie him, but beliving ther'es something better.. there has to be and Sentinel has no right ot take it: So with mining equipment and jetpacks, our hero leads the future autobots. AI am a bit iffy about all the autobots being in one group and the decipticons in another, but the sequel could help flesh it out and I get they only had 90 minute sto pack a lot in. One is VERY overstuffed and takes place over maybe two days tops. A lot happens.. but it all feels resonable and well set up: D-16 changes entirely but it's hard to say megatron wasn't lurking under the surfance and a LOT of trauma in less than a day didn't change him. Likewise Optimus and Megatron rising as leaders.. makes perfect sense; The Guard had spent years hiding and stewing and suddenly a new kid comes along with more o fa vision than ducking and weaving and easily chokes out the guy who was likely only leader because he killed a few people who said no to that. He then refuses to bow to sentinel despite knowing what this might means an dkeeps getting up.
Meanwhile Optimus leads not through badassery.. but hope. He puts his dreamer nature to good use and instead of inspiring his troops thorugh violence, inspires them. And because Oriion was already a decent guy who instead of being seen as a weird outcast, was seen as a guy who did what they wished they could, a nice turn of that usual "never accepted weirdo" thing we get, because he was simply a good perosn.. people listen.
So here comes the climax.
Throw My Better Self Overboard, Shoot At Him When He Comes Up for Air
So we get our big climactic battle as our untied rebel forces eat the rich while Elita squares off with Airachnid. I hadn't brought up Airachnid because her plot relevance for most of the movie is to stand around and look menacing, being Sentinel's liutiennt. And I like how they went for something diffrent: true to the name she's part modern helicopter, part spider and usies her spider legs to brutally tear into foes, leaping on them and tearing them to shreds. While the rest of Sentinels mooks, various mass produced drones ala the ones Megatron has in prime, go down easily when fighting Alpha trion she took him down and let sentinel finish him off later because of course he wanted to gloat.
So while the final battle goes down to the two female robots of importance duking it out, it still works as it makes sense: Elita has quickly become the autobots bruiser and Optimus second in command, and Sentinel is busy gloating to his captives. Rather than the cliched "well the women must fight because a man punching her would be too mucH" it feels like a fight between each sides seconds that's also brutal and well done.
Orion however has a plan and while he and an ungreatful B-17 fight Sentinel, who reveals he took Megatronius cog, he has elita grab airachnid as she showed off her creepy camera head before... and thus he realizes she has incriminating footage. So while Bumblbee finds he has knife hands and helps clear the way, our heroes team up.. kinda.
I also have to give it to the fighting here: Something Cooley made sure to include was transforming. In most continuites the transforming is used maybe to ram a fucker and most fighting is as the robots. Here ther'es a lot of transforming in combat: Ariachind uses her alt mode to gain advantage as it can fly nad elita's can't. Sentinel uses his massive jet form's firepower to even the odds before diving back into bot mode. D-16 RAMS into the fucker with his tank mode, uses it frequently for blasting and easily switches back into combat. It's fluid, gorgeous and really takes advantage of the trasnforming to turn every fight into a spectacle.
While D-16 fights Sentinel, Orion inacts his plan: hyjack the radio tower and er.. slam Airachnids face into the console therebye getting the footage he needs.
Sentinel's outed as a bad guy, everythin'gs fine? right? right? Right D-16.. whose inching towards sentinel and... oh... oh no.
So Orion rushes to prevent his friend from doing a murder, whiel Sentinel pathetically crawls away. He begs him not to do this, that this isn't the right way.. but it won't work this time. Pax says the wrong thing: "Don't be like sentinel". He threatnes pax to move and pax instead jumps int he way.. and is shot , barely alive. And thus.. two bots die... D-16 throws Orion Pax into the core of the planet "I'm done saving you". One wanted war, to keep raging forever against a planet that wronged him the other wanted to fix tha tplanet and restore it. In the end it was two roads that simply HAD to diverge but damn do they make it painful. You see just how much these two meant, how much good they acomplished..b ut ultimately B-17 can't let go of his rage and pain.. and he shoudln't.. not entirely. He can still feel hurt and rageful.. but it's in trying to tear the rest of the world down where he failed.
Sometimes the world DOES need to burn, but if you don't think about the people who get hurt, then your in the wrong.
Where You Go Once You Arrive, Where We Go Once We Arrive
The next scene.. is the films best... a truly striking back and forth series of cuts as we see the true ascendance, the birth of megatron and optimus prime given all the gravitas 40 years of stories, conuities and tellings of these two's clash.
Megatron gives a firey horrifying speech as he rips Sentinel in half. The film is unflinching with hit's violence. It did have to cut around things.. but all that did was have cooley let your mind fill in the gaps. For a family film, this is fucking brutal, and it all crecnedoes with a bot getting ripped in half. likely being robots gave them some leeway, but it's still horrifying to see. I don't feel bad for sentinel he fucking deserved it but Megatron giving him a mortal kombat fatality then going on to scream about he's going to burn iacon down, destroy every last person loyal to sentinel to burn the world no matter who gets hurt... it underlines Optimus point. While Sentinel defeintly deserved to die, this dosen't fix anything. This dosen't change iacon for the better, it just replaces a tyrant who made the trains run on time and again deserved his mortal kombat fatality, with one who thinks he's doing the right thing while killing as many people as he has to to do it. Neither version of this is good but Megatron is too blinded by trauma to see that and thus has become something almost as bad as what left.
Thankfully as Megatron rises... so too does another. As he falls into the core, his body dead.... Orion Pax meets the primes, all 12 showing up.. with Alpha Trion himself anointing our hero. This could easily be iffy: chosen one narratives aren't nearly as common these days for a reason and this is the same year where Dune Part 2 showed just how bad that could go based on a book all the way back in the 60s, just taking out the racisim and sexism.
So instead Orion Pax becomes robot jesus this time not because destiny says so.. but simply because he acted well. He acted nobly, selfishless and laid his life down and thus he not only rises from the dead but gets an upgrade: a cool ax ehe does the thor thing with , which had to be intetional, able to take out a hudnered bad guys with swords or at least all three main decipticons with only megatron giving him trouble.
So before our climactic breakup, le'ts talk about primus. Some consider the idea Primus is a two faced prick: he made the matrix of leadership, the source of cybertron's energon in this continuity and why they have to mine without it, not feel so good and go away into dust robbing sentinel of it.
Me... I think it wasn't the smartest move given Sentinel then created a slave race to do the job and it didn't really stop him.. but my take is that it was all primus COULD do. Primus did create the primes to guard cybertron, but that was right after becoming the planet and space god. My honest interpretation, one backed up by talking to brotoman is that primus isn't as fully cognizant without the matrix. In the war for cybertron duology, Primus created the matrix as a way for it to be with the rest of cybertron kind as it really coudln't commuincate outside it's core. If eel that's the same here: that it can only do so much and without the matrix as a conduit, all it could do was thrash blindly, hence the storms of the surface and the mines shifting horribly. THe mines woul dbe closer to cybertrons core, giving him more dexterity. Prime fell directly into a shaft leading down int oCybertron's bowels and into it's core, which gave Primus a chance to look him over, see what he did. If you notice primus doesn't even talk directly. He has to use alpha trion's ghost. Primus transformation into cybertron likely put him beyond most cybertronians and unlike say Unicron if he shows up, please let him show up, he can't go back and forth.
Now that's just my interpretation but it's something I like about the film: the world's well built and set up.. but it dosen't explain everything. It leaves some ambguity: where the primes as perfect as they seemed or was sentinel right to resent them, even if
Did Alpha Trion know the risks he was unleashing with megatron? We don't know, and tha'ts okay. And yes the sequels probably will clear some of this up if we get them, but it's still something really neat to think about.
For now we get an awesome fight with Optimus ending the thing by slicing Megatron's fusion canon. He commands him to leave: he tried to conquer cybertron, killed a man and broke Optimus' heart in the process. Megatron bitterly leaves setting up a sequel that please please please god let us have some form of sequel, and takes the gaurd with him.
This leaves optimus in charge, and their paths set: Optimus turns the miners into the autobots and gives them their cogs back, restoring cybertron.. and Megatron... brands his new peeps the decepticons. THey are not being being decieved and they will open cybertrons eyes and close optimus'. It's a truly painful but well done ending with both rising : Optimus prepares to hold off the quintsions.. and Megatron prepares to do what he planned to do in the first plac.e. burn it down. They were close but now... the war begins.
The One and Only One
Transformers One is a masterpiece, well worth a look in theaters. I'ts a feast ofr the eyes. But it's it' semotinal core that makes it: following two young men as one goes from reckless dreamer to real leader, with his voice lowering the right octaves, and the other going from a stickler for the rules to a radical planning to kill as many people as he has to to save cybertron from hitself. One is a heartfelt epic, with eye popping colors, great social commentary and a hell of an emotional core. This is the best of the transformers films i've seen, probably not a stretch to say the best given it lacks robot testicles or a man waving around a piece of paper saying he can fuck teenagers, but still a truly great film I hope Paramount gives a sequel even if it dosen't do gangbusters. In a year with maybe three animated films i've wanted to see theatrically, this was a welcome treat and is one of the best transformers stories. Go see it, thanks for reading and remmeber you can win if you dare.

"Good morning, Cybertron and Earth!"
A cheerful voice happily chirped through the radio after a calm piece of music concluded.
Shockwave startled, nearly slamming his hand in the fume hood door as he eased it partially shut so he could safely experiment.
The voice continued through news that didn't match what was happening in their reality, illustrating the losses of the Decepticons and Autobots as an update to a war that no longer continued.
Shockwave paused, trying to make sense of the recognition he felt for the voice as he stared at the radio he'd gotten in memory to Soundwave after he was sucked into the in-between world.
"So, that's our quick update! Still no sign of Megatron, which is irritating Mr. Pax, it seems. He's been on a bit of a...er...rampage. Getting uncomfortably close to the station."
Laserbeak seemed to recognize the voice and seemed taken aback as he landed on Shockwave's shoulder. Shockwave looked at the flight-based minicon carefully.
"That can't be...that's not Soundwave. Is it?" Laserbeak asked softly.
"Soundwave doesn't have that cadence to his voice. Impossible. Or at least very unlikely." Shockwave tried to dismiss what Laserbeak said, but he couldn't fully remove the thought.
"I'm Soundwave, and you're listening to Decepticon Radio!"
No...it couldn't have been. Shouldn't have been.
Shockwave's helm fins splayed a bit as he tried to make sense of it, his systems nearly shutting down as he tried repeatedly. Pleasant, happy Cyber-pop resonated through the room—the piece playing evidently a cover of Nine to Five by Dolly Parton, an Earth song.
Shockwave leaned heavily on a nearby counter as his system finally restarted its thinking functions to prevent him from grasping at straws that weren't there. He was aware of it, managing to hold onto the memories.
Shockwave decided he would have to listen to the radio a little closer to uncover the mystery.
---
Soundwave was happily bopping around his station, listening to the music as it was played, but keeping an eye on Orion Pax the whole time.
Orion was dangerous at this point, so he kept his minicons safely inside. They picked music and received updates from the sources of news the radio relied on.
Rumble happily put some metal music on the queue, spacing tamer pieces between each song. Frenzy wrote up the news bullet points for Soundwave to read off. Buzzsaw monitored what he could while Laserbeak slept beside him. Ravage was guarding the front door.
"Good work, kids! Maybe we'll get some rust sticks when we're done." Soundwave hummed a bit, thinking about the snack. Rumble seemed overjoyed at the idea, stimming beside Soundwave as he showed him the queue.
"Is this good, boss?" Rumble asked eagerly. Soundwave looked at the queue with a smile.
"Very good, Rumble! I'm glad you guys are learning how to do this stuff, as sucky it is that we have to do it while someone is throwing a hissy fit outside." Soundwave praised them, lifting Rumble up and putting him on his shoulder.
---
Soundwave huffed as he adjusted his body in the nook he'd finally found. Dreadwing's dead, zombified body paced around just outside the nook and Soundwave's eyes went wide as he smashed himself back further.
I hate it here, I hate this zombie, I hate not being able to communicate with anyone I care about. But by Primus, I will not die here at the hands of one of Unicron's mindless drones. Soundwave thought firmly before starting to silently pray once more.
Dreadwing grumbled outside before eventually moving on. Soundwave let out the softest sigh he could manage before clambering out of the nook and climbing up the cliff face as carefully as he could.
He ran. It was the first time in many years that he'd outright ran. He ran across the top of the cliff, knowing that most servants of Unicron struggled with transforming.
He thought back to the Nemesis. How he wished he stayed onboard and just let himself be in the in-between instead of trying to figure out a way away.
Soundwave finally stopped when he reached town. He was invisible to them and couldn't interact with the walls in any meaningful way. But he could watch them.
Apparently, he wasn't the only one there and observing either though. A figure that looked vaguely human, but like a titan demon also stared back at him with burning green eyes.
"Are you here too?" They asked softly. Soundwave slowly nodded. "I'm Fate. A minor god of Cybertronian descent. I appear like this because I affect humans too. I don't remember getting here, but...every now and then I feel around me this pair of terrifying...presences."
Soundwave slowly nodded. "Me too. Have any idea what they are?"
"Well...there's the possibility that it's the pair of immortals within the core of the Earth."
"There's two?"
"Yes. Unicron himself and his creation, Thunderwing. Though, I'm glad they're the worst thing we face here. There are several zombies that are starting to regain consciousness in their sparks, and at worst, they're confused." Fate laughed softly.
Soundwave eventually sank down next to them. "Who are they?"
"Oh...Breakdown, Cliffjumper,...and Dreadwing. Tailgate sometimes shows up with Cyclonus, though they barely count as zombies. And then there's the drifter. He's not quite in the in-between or in reality. He's been modified heavily by Unicron, but he's still fully conscious."
---
"Alright. Send to Soundwave, I guess." Shockwave prompted Laserbeak. Laserbeak used his bond with Soundwave.
Soundwave? Laserbeak asked. Relief poured through their bond, prompting him to continue. Hi. Shockwave was asking if you managed to end up in an entirely different dimension and opened a radio station.
Laserbeak was met with confusion and he reeled back, concerned.
"He doesn't have a radio station. He doesn't know what you're talking about. So either this station is done by an identity thief or it's done by a separate version of Soundwave." Laserbeak told Shockwave.
"But...how did I manage to tune to it..." Shockwave muttered in response and Laserbeak stared at him guiltily. "What did you do? I'm not mad."
"Okay...I may have accidentally knocked the radio over and had to fix it during one of your random shut-downs that forces you to recharge. Sorry..." Laserbeak ducked his head. "You're not mad, are you?"
"No, I'm still not mad. This is just fascinating." Shockwave decided, looking at the little blue radio. Laserbeak sighed with relief.
"Okay. I gotta explain to Soundwave what we meant. Be back after." Laserbeak excused himself.
"Be responsible." Shockwave firmly advised.
"I will."
---
Soundwave finally was given a portal and he took it, excusing himself. Fate watched him leave, not really all that worried about getting out because they knew it would happen eventually.
Soundwave stared back at someone who looked so much like him. They stared back, removing their visor just to get a better look at Soundwave. They really did look exactly like Soundwave.
"Huh." They spoke. "What do you think of this, Rav?"
A version so like Ravage peeked in curiously before noping right back out. "I'm not dealing with it."
"I'm not asking you too...just...ah frag it. I'm Soundwave. You are?" They asked.
Soundwave furrowed his brow behind his visor before removing it. "Soundwave" reeled back a bit, met with the same face as his own.
"No fragging way...dude…”
---
Hi, yes, this is me playing with a minor crossover of Shattered Glass with Transformers Prime being more of the base set. Tailgate and Cyclonus do appear together, but that's only reasonable since they’re probably both dead in TFP—as is more minicons appearing in the story. Fate is one of my own characters. "The Drifter" that Fate mentions is Megatron in his altered state during the TFP movie.

To Heal a Mockingbird
A TFA Ratchet x Mech!Reader
Word Count: 1.8k
Chapter 6: Sparks of the Future
"Let me out!" I begged as I slammed my fists against the bars of my cell. "Please! Just let me out! You can't do this!"
"Shut it, you!" The prison guard barked as he jabbed me through the bars of with a shock rod, electricity pouring into my frame and causing me to yelp out in pain. "You're lucky the Magnus is even letting your sorry paint job live!"
The guard yanked the rod out of my frame, and I crashed to the floor like a sack of energon cubes, my seams hissing with smoke from the electrical shock I received. The guard then jabbed me again, causing a shriek of pain to rip through my voice box once again.
"In fact, I'm gonna make you WISH he hadn't!" The guard opened my cell and proceeded to beat the ever loving slag out of me. The entire time, I would try and fight back only to get put back to the floor with the shock rod. I ended up completely giving up to the beatings and laid limp on the floor. Small drips of energon leaked from my intake and down my dermas, eventually making contact with the floor with light drip sound.
When the guard was done thrashing me about, he left and re locked my cell with a disturbing grin on his face.
"Oh, by the way," he said. "Megatron says hello." Before I could respond, the guard turned and left, leaving me alone in the dark prison.
'Primus... have mercy...' I thought to myself as I slowly and shakily pushed my frame back upright, stumbling a little in the process. 'I... I don't know what... what they are telling me....' I limped over to the recharge slab that was bolted to the wall, carefully maneuvering my now battered and beaten frame onto it with my back facing the bars of my cell. 'But... but i.... I can't... be who they... they claim I am...' I curled up tightly and allowed my optics to close.
"Primus... if you can hear me... please... they need to know i... I'm innocent." I quietly prayed.
But deep down, I knew that was a lie, yet I couldn't give anyone a reason for it. All I felt was guilt.
I ended up drifting into recharge, and in my dreams, I saw disaster and chaos. Thousands laid strewn dead across a battlefield and in the center stood Megatron with a cold and sadistic smile on his face.
In his grip was a glowing crystalline gem that seemed to hum and pulse like a thousand sparks all in unison.
'Help us.' I heard the gem whisper in many voices. 'Find us. Save us.'
The dream then changed to what looked to be a staging area for a siege outside of where I knew the Well of Allsparks was located, most likely outside of Crystal City.
'They will find us! They will hurt us! Hurry! Please!'
I jolted awake with a gasp and an overwhelming sense of dread crossed my spark like a shard of ice. A dread one should never ignore. A dread of the end.
"Gotta... gotta get outta here." I whispered to myself as I shakily pushed my frame upright. "Gotta... get to... the Allspark."
-with Ratchet and the others -
"And you're saying this data just straight up appeared?" Ratchet asked with a cocked optic ridge.
"Yeah and?" Pharma huffed. "It's still information that is evidence and support for Y/D's deactivation." Pharma then turned to the Magnus with a stern look. "You need to have him terminated."
"Not until this information is traced back to the source." Ultra Magnus said firmly before motioning for Wheeljack. "Wheeljack, can you run a trace in the data?"
"I can try." Wheeljack said as he went over to Pharma's work station and began running various lines of code in order to find where the data came from. "My question is why someone would send this in the first place?"
As if on queue, an alert popped up on a nearby workstation, then another, and another. Alarms began to blare, and lights flashed wildly, surprising the group of Autobots.
"To distract us from that!" Ratchet said as he pointed to the alert. "The security system for the brig has gone offline. Y/D isn't the only Decepticon down there!"
-with Y/D-
"There..." I murmured to myself as I retracted my probes from the wall, the bars to all the cell doors in the brig dropping and releasing everyone inside. "I'm sorry, my friends... but this is necessary."
"Hey! We're free!" One of the other Decepticon prisoners exclaimed.
"Go go go!" Another one yelled. The next thing I knew, Decepticons of all shapes and sizes were making a break for it. At the same time, swarms of Elite Guard came rushing in.
Battle broke out, and I did the best I could to dodge and weave through the chaos. I eventually made it across the prison and towards an emergency exit that led directly outside. Once I went through that exit, I quickly made a beeline for my best route to Crystal City.
That route being an Autobot space bridge.
"Almost there." I said to myself as I stumbled over and quickly hijacked the controls. "Just gotta enter the coordinates -"
"Hey! There's one!" A guard yelled.
"Scrap!" I cursed to myself as I saw the guard and a few others running down towards me. "Hurry, hurry! Cmon, cmon!" Suddently, the space bridge fired up, and the glowing swirl of color roared to life. "Yes!"
"He's getting away!" The guard yelled. I quickly dove on through the bridge and tumbled out the other side, the bridge closing shortly after and preventing the guard from following.
"Too close." I panted as I shakily looked about. I somehow emerged right inside of the walls of Crystal City rather than through another space bridge. I didn't have time to ponder the oddity of that. I needed to find the Allspark.
I dove into the alleyways and weaved through the Autobot city, taking extra care so as not to be spotted by the passing of guard and civilians. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts, the injuries I gained from the guard who beat me started to take its toll once again.
I ended up slumping in one of the side alleys, my vents heavy and straining from the pain.
'Dammit.' I thought to myself. 'Can't... can't keep moving... but... but I gotta.' I looked over to my wings and stared at the bold violet insignia that adorned them. I then proceeded to scratch at them, drawing thin streams of energon to the surface with each mark until the insignia was barely visible. I did the same to the other side, effectively solidifying my abandonment of the Decepticons. 'There... that way if I am found... they'll think I'm neutral. Hopefully. Primus....'
I ended up falling into a light recharge in that alleyway. But it wouldn't last very long as the sound of combat would reach my audials and awaken me from my slumber.
'Dammit!' I thought as I saw several autobot soldiers and guard rush down the streets with weapons in hand. 'I've gotta move my aft! But... where do I go?'
I felt a tug on my spark as I thought this as if the Allspark itself were calling me, and I knew I had to trust it. I followed the pull through various backways and hidden alleys until I came across a strange structure nestled out of sight.
It had a large doorway with intricate designs carved into it that seemed to glow and hum with raw energon crystals. Hesitantly, I touched the designs, and they lit up like the night sky. The doorway cracked and ground as it slid open, exposing a long and dark hallway with streaks and swirls of light lining the sides. Cautiously, I entered and continued to trust the pull I was feeling on my spark, unaware that a few Autobots and a certain medic were following not far behind me.
"What is he doing?" Pharma whispered to Ratchet as he, the medic, and a few Elite Guard quietly followed behind just out of audial shot of me.
"I... I wish I could tell you." Ratchet whispered back.
"Sir, should we take him out?" One of the guard asked as he aimed a rifle at me.
"Not yet." Pharma said. "Let's see where this... thing is going."
"He has a name." Ratchet scolded. "Use it."
They continued to follow me through the maze of tunnels and passageways that seemed to go deeper and deeper underground until they came to a massive, almost cathedral like space with statues and ancient carvings lining the sides. A line of crystallized energon ran forward to a large, circular basin where the gleaming light of the Allspark was hovering above like a beacon.
"Is that...." one of the guard whispered.
"The Allspark?" Another said.
While the group were gazing in awe, I had managed to sneak around and behind them with my probes ejected. I knew what I had to do, and I didn't want to do it.
"I'm sorry." I whispered.
"Did you hear that?" Pharma said before I drove the probes into his back and forced him to shut down. His frame crashed to the floor, and the pair of elite guard and Ratchet whipped around to see me towering over them. I quickly gave the two guard the same treatment before they could act.
"Y/D wh-," Ratchet started to say before I stopped him.
"They will be fine. Get them out of here before the Decepticons come."
"Kid."
"There's no time! Megatron is here, and he wants the Allspark. I have to get it out of here." Ratchet studied my face and saw there was no falsehood in it.
"Be careful."
"Till we meet again, my friend." I said with a small smile. "And... thank you for your kindness."
I quickly rushed over to the basin and leaped up into the air, my servo making contact with the Allspark as I grabbed it from the air. I felt a surge of power rush through me, and the cathedral cracked and ruptured open. Bits of plating melted and formed into a sort of canister that morphed and molded around the Allspark. I gripped the handles and soared out of the now gaping ceiling, my goal one location and one location only.
The space bridge.
Time seemed to blurr as I used whatever energy I had left to fly as fast as i could towards it, the great gateway igniting to life just before I crashed into it.
I was launched into a void of color, the bridge collapsing and exploding behind me. My systems began to shut down in this place, and I heard the Allspark one last time before entering a deep and death like stasis.
'Sleep, Allspark Guardian.'

Hotwheels (assorted cars)
by Mattel
This post is going to be an assortment of Hotwheels cars that I’ve bought recently.
I don’t remember exacty when I got any of these Hot Wheels, but I figured posting them as a group would help cut down my queue by a little bit.
Street Beasts:
Turtoshell
Turtoshell is a car in the form of a turtle. Yea, that’s it.
Actually I love it; it’s such a fun car.
You got this cyber nature turtle on wheels with the turtle shell having engine components with the flippers and the head cast in a green plastic.
It’s got painted one eyes, I suppose to resemble headlights. It would have been nice if they were sculpted too, but there’s already so much sculpted detail on this things I guess the headlights were a bridge too far.
It rolls well, it looks good, and I like it.
HW Glow Wheels:
Aero Pod
The Aero Pod is part of the ‘Glow Wheels’ collection. It’s basically a party van moonrover. Yea, that’s it.
It’s got a lot of bright yellow/green coloring and paint effect.
The front canopy seats three. Who knows what’s suppose to be in back.
After exposing the Aero Pod a lamp for about 30 minutes and the wheels do glow a little bit. It’s a fun idea but personally I’m not going to play with my toy cars in the dark.
Retro Racers:
GT-Scorcher
The GT-Scorcher is a green race car. Yea it looks pretty cool, and it kind of reminds me of the Autobot Wheeljack.
The Scorcher has a lot of advertisements all over the car, and even the ‘Hotwheels’ brand on the spoiler.
Ultra Hots:
‘87 Buick Regal GNX
The Buick Regal, for me, is a reminder of the 80′s. My dad had a car like this, and when I saw this I kind of had to get it.
This burgundy with some orange stripes painted on it.
The wheels are a little to silly for me; Hot Wheels has been using those types of wheels since the 90′s I think. I guess if it ain’t broke...
HW Screen Time:
X-34 Landspeeder
Luke Skywalker’s landspeeder from the first Star Wars movie.
This thing’s got a lot of molded detail, and paint deco isn’t too bad either.
No driver for the landspeeder, but that’s par for the course for HotWheels cars.
It’s got 4 wheels, and it rolls okay on a smooth surface.
Character Cars:
Captain Rex
These Character Cars are pretty fun too, and I had to get Captain Rex from the Clone Wars series.
The Capatin Rex vehicle is an SUV which has the look of the clone captain’s helmet.
It’s got a molded Republic symbol on the back covering the spare tire.
Notches from all the battle droid it’s destroyed...at least I so. Would suck if it was little old ladies...
You see some molded detailed guns on the sides of the SUV.
The Captain Rex car is really cool, it rolls well, and generally looks cool.
Matchbox
1936 Ford Coupe
The Matchbox Ford is the only outlier of the group considering it isn’t a Hotwheels product.
I don’t have too much to say about it other than it’s a classic car from a bygone era, and it looks great.
It rolls well, looks sharp, that’s about it.
They don’t make cars like this anymore.
Final Thoughts:
There’s something about toy cars that just brings out the little kid in me. These are all pretty fun,
Each one of these is fun in different ways, but I have to say my favorite has to be the 86 Buick Regal, since as a kid my parents had one. What can I say, I’m an 80′s kid at heart.

i love you, a secret between you and me
transformers / ratchlock / wc: 418 / warnings: NSFT, heatfic. this is literally JUST pnp. okay ? okay / notes: this one skips the queue i'm already embarrassed enough i don't need 400 years of anticipation
"Deadlock!" Ratchet shouted, clinging onto the Decepticon. Said Decepticon was pounding into the medic, claws dragging down his back, biting into his shoulder. "Deadlock," Ratchet sobbed, finding himself unable to say anything but the other's name. The assassin's presence was so overwhelming, taking over every sense Ratchet had- all he could see, hear, feel, it was all Deadlock. All he could think about, too, was Deadlock.
"So good," Deadlock groaned, thrusting up into him. Ratchet looked good like this, in the larger's lap, clinging onto him for dear life. "So fucking good, doc." One of his claws punctured the metal of Ratchet's back, drawing energon, and the medic yelped at the feeling. "So pretty. Wanna keep you here, all mine."
"Yours," Ratchet panted, "Deadlock, Deadlock, yours, please-"
"Wanna fill you up," Deadlock whispered back, voice strained, hushed. "Wanna keep you full and dripping, wanna-" he paused, letting out a groan. "Ratchet, I'm not letting you go. I'm not."
"Don't let me go," Ratchet pleaded, definitely delirious to some extent. "Please, keep me, please-"
"Not even after your heat is over," Deadlock let out, growling. Because that was really what started this. Under normal circumstances, Ratchet wouldn't do this with him- being on different sides of the war was enough to assure that. But when Deadlock found him like this, abandoned by his team, dripping, mindless, begging, really seriously begging, the war was the last thing on either of their minds. But Primus, Deadlock didn't want to let him go when it was over, didn't want things to just go back to how they were before.
So he wouldn't. He was already picturing it, a little hideout, just for them. They could be together and Ratchet could be his little conjunx-in-spirit, constantly full of Deadlock's transfluid, constantly dripping, all for him- all for him-
"Deadlock!" Ratchet moaned, tightening his grip on the assassin as his spike thrust in deeper, again, again, again. He let out a broken scream, his valve clamping down around Deadlock, shaking as his overload rolled over him.
Deadlock bit into the Autobot's neck, holding him in a crushing grip as his own overload approached, and he thrust his spike as deep as it could go as it finally hit. He stayed as still as he could, and Ratchet let out an exhausted moan feeling the transfluid fill his forge.
Deadlock kept Ratchet held there as the two came down from their respective highs. Little hideout, him and Ratchet, just like this, everyday.
A mech can dream.

Can I see a scenario of where IDW Megatron discovers a female crew member whom he is close friends with has a fondness for him? ((Sorry in advance if this seems like much))
He never really noticed at first how you'd smile differently at him than you did at the others. How your eyes would linger on him. He feels like an old fool for not noticing sooner. Hell if he hadn't overheard you talking to Cyclonus he still probably wouldn't know!
He feels conflicted, on the one hand he's very flattered that you feel that way, but on the other he knows what he's done to your kind and feels a deep guilt over the irreversible harm he has caused. He's also confused as to how you could be so fond of a monster that has done nothing but cause destruction and suffering. Megatron can't shake the guilt he feels on his way back to his habsuite. He also can't get the image of your soft and caring smile out of his helm.
He reaches his room and sits in his desk chair, staring at the purple painted wall in front of him. 'Why me?' He thinks to himself. There are so many good mechs on this ship and you like him? For what? He knows he has treated you civilly and even become close friends, but to fall for him? It doesn't make sense in his mind.
He remembers times where you handed him reports and your fingers would brush against his, such soft, delicate touches and it brings a shiver to his metal frame. He remembers your genuine laugh from the time he told a joke while you two had drinks in Swerve's bar and rests his helm in his servos. How could he have not known sooner? Perhaps if he had he could have avoided such a conundrum by distancing himself from you. But that thought hurts him, he doesn't want to be away from you, you're his friend, perhaps the closest friend he has on the ship. And maybe... just maybe... he realizes he feels the same way.
No. He knows he feels the same way. That's why there's so much guilt, so much conflict. His past is stained with the blood of your kind, in the blood of many organics, yet you still love him. And he loves you.
He feels he should make his feelings for you known but he is unsure when or how. Should he write you a poem? Do humans do that? He's sure they probably do since they have the ability to write and read. Maybe he should just say it to your face, after all what kind of coward can't even express how they feel to one they love?
It's him, he's the coward, he always has been! Of course he can't confess to you! He's never been good with feelings that weren't anger or pride. Foolish to think he could just walk right up and tell you how he feels. Poetry it is then. He just hopes he can convey just how much you mean to him in writing as he reaches for a datapad.
-
You wake up to the sound of your alarm. You hit the snooze button and snuggle further under the blanket. You hear a knock on the door and you jolt up, "I'm awake Magnus!" You yell hopping up and rushing to the door in your pajamas. You open it, "You know the drill Mags I need to brush my teeth and get-" You pause when you see no one around, "Dressed?"
You look around but there's absolutely no one in the hall. Then you look down and notice a datapad laying at your feet. You pick it up assuming it's a worklog for today but then you read the title.
Longing.
You close the door and make your way back to bed, sitting down on it to read. You read each line carefully, a smile forming on your lips as you realize just who this is from. It's a love poem. A love confession. And the last line has your name. You feel happiness fill your heart as you jump up, still in your pajamas, and rush out your door.
You head down the hall towards Megatron's room. You don't get far before you see him walking that way too.
"Megatron!" You call out and he freezes.
He's mentally preparing himself for the worst. What if he misinterpreted your feelings? Or what if you changed your mind? Those thoughts melt away as he feels you gently hug the back of his heel.
"I got your poem," You say cheerfully, "It's beautiful! And I... I feel the same way about you."
"I... thank you." He says raising his fist to cover his smile. You let go of his pede and he turns around, laying his servo down for you crawl upon. Once you do he lifts you up.
"Wanna go to Swerve's tonight?" You ask, "Not as just friends this time?"
"I... would like that." He smiles, forgetting all doubts and fears he might have had as you smile back at him with eyes full of adoration.

Halfway through the inspection, Clobber stops in the middle of a word and then blurts out "...is that Cliffjumper?"
Ravage is just now debarking from her own shuttle--she wasn't sure where the one that slipped ahead of her in the queue to dock had come from--and immediately lopes from one slip to the other ahead of Suckerpunch and Laserbeak, who'd gone with her to the meeting on Terrapin Station.
Yes. That's Cliffjumper. And everyone in the slip is looking pretty freaked out, because this is Sanctuary Station, in Lagrange orbit around Io, which is also slowly getting developed.
The last time she saw Cliffjumper--and she's not sure if this is the one she saw, but most people around here aren't aware that things from other universes can pop in and out in this part of the space around Jupiter--he was with Optimus Prime, and the Autobots had been trying to annex Earth to the Cybertronian government.
Illegally. Even if it hadn't been a violation of the treaties between the Sol System and Cybertron, he'd been doing it without Starscream's knowledge and very much without Starscream's permission.
But that had been what Optimus was doing. Cliffjumper...
She draws herself up to her full bipedal height and strides out past Clobber and the other Security personnel. quickly accessing a database her sister Howlback maintains.
Well. Nobody's Filed Intent against Cliffjumper.
Wait, isn't he dead? She's pretty sure he got killed in the skirmish--
"You're looking unusually well," she says, "given what happened the last time I saw you, Cliffjumper. What brings you to Sanctuary?"
Of course it is entirely possible that he won't even recognise her. If he's from another universe it could be one of the places where Ravage is dead, or was Soundwave's actual pet cat, or is a "symbiont" (a concept she's still not sure she understands) and not a Predacon cassettification survivor, let alone Vox Destron and Soundwave's Lord High Protector...
@dontpetmeibite started following you
If Cliffjumper had the capacity to yawn, he'd probably be cracking his faceplates in half by now. As it was, the red 'bot still rubbed hard at his optics as he came down the ramp of a borrowed shuttle, before squinting blearily at his new surroundings.
Primus, he was really looking forward to a long nap.
#Cliffjumper | cliffandthekid#Welcome to Sanctuary haha#good news tho#Marissa did talk Soundwave into getting a proper atmosphere#so if Sierra's here too she can breathe!

Big Ol’ Ask Post
Crusade goes by them/them!
And let’s see—I don’t think that Optimus would ever let a medic touch his baby with intent to reformat them, I think he’d sooner rather dive into a smelter than even let Crusade know that the Council planned to do that to them.
But for What If’s sake, sure here’s what their reformat would look like:
Crusade would have been the equiv. of 16 to receive these changes. looks a little too much like a wind-up toy soldier. it’s creepy.
Same as Op, Megs would absolutely recognize or at least suspect something is up with Crusade—but in this timeline, their meeting would not be on the battlefield—rather they’d meet when their Carrier threw them through a space bridge into Megatron’s arms before blowing the whole bridge to hell.
Crusade as you can imagine in this timeline is even more blindsided than our OG Crusade, you can imagine the fear, denial, and betrayal they’d feel in the rushed time between when a frantic Optimus told them they had to run and never come back. oh and the notorious Warlord you were told to never ask about—he’s your Sire. you have to trust him now
QUEUE THE DRAMA
HA no. I don’t have an ao3 for writing, just one I use to keep tabs and give kudos and cry over other’s fics.
I don’t have enough confidence in writing to consider a fic! I like playing off of scenarios, writing dialogue/backstories rather than considering piecing a whole ass fic lmfao. One day I may try! But art is my trade for now ;D
the best I can offer you is to read all I have on Crusade would be to check out the crusade and cybertron’s legacy au on my tumblr! There I have all the asks/art and lore for them, have fun!
HAHOUUHOHUNGHG NooOOOOOPE.
‘who needs another sparkling when they have me? I’m perfect ✨’
that they are for sure. but they know they’d get stuck w babysitting duties for the rest of their life, plus (after I figure out the whole fiasco that is the true reunions) theres tentaive trust just beginning to form between their Creators, another sparkling to worry about my blow up in their faces,,or not. we just don’t know.
but man this ask came soon. at the rate we’re going Crusade may not get a CHOICE
hhh I don’t know! so the way I have the CLau laid out—it takes place roughly 20 years after The Trial of Megatron. A little soon for other member of say Team Prime to settle down, hell their careers have just begun, that and if there were other Sparklings in the AU born from our favs, they’d be itty bitties.
I’m thinking it may be so much more fun to have Wormholes Gone Horribly Wrong and Rips In the Timelines—queue the clashing of AUs so Crusade can meet the lot! lol I can’t wait for Crusade to meet the SAR team I’m practically shaking
yeah
sweet
among
other things,,,
their child*
and yes it was not fair at all, Megatron on will realize this eventually—but the level of fear this reveal invoked trumped over rationale—which is what exactly what happened when Megatron realized just how vulnerable this sparkling would be should the Autobots even remotely know of it’s existence.
The Autobots would have every motivation to simply take the information from Optimus by force should he have told him of the sparkling. Megatron’s interests lied in protecting all parties. He made a tough choice as a Carrier, but an even harder one as a former lover.
HAHAHA
YES THEY WOULD FOR THAT EXACT REASON. The rhymes, the quips during battle—or Crusade is a little bit too like their Sire when they’re in the zone. ‘an angry opponent makes for a stupid one’ like Sire like Sparkling
But after A Little Too Familiar, Megatron didn’t let them near any active field so long as he could help it. Too risky, the Magnus would suspect more than anyone, Crusade was compromised and most of all nearly taken down, or worse taken. But Crusade was stubborn—they found a way—more on that eventually aksjsksjd
They didn’t get to meet Team Prime on any field, now on a base or in a brig,,,,hmm we will see ;3
No one. There hasn’t been a carried sparkling in the ranks in Primus knows how long, their existence alone was an anomaly—and one that put Megs through the ringer emotionally ofc but physically as well
there was no How To book (easily accessible to the Cons at least) so everything Megs performed was out of instinct alone,,with some assistance from Shockwave of course—theyre the most versed in watching over ‘little things’ and most of all what could possibly be ‘Autobotish behavior’ and how to care for one (that doesn’t exist you dumb FUCK it’s just a Cybertronian BABY)
Carrier protocols are extremely powerful on a bot, some go soft, some go on the attack, some have a mix of both—either way the base line coding just screams protect, which is exactly what Megatron did for whatever reason Crusade should need him for.
Whether it was by being a warm perch to nap on, giving reassurance, providing a firm hand on their shoulder when supporting them through announcing their new chosen titles, showing them the proper way to fight, or simply just letting them know that they can do no wrong because they are his and they are perfect, Megs was there to protect them—and he did his job well.

I like the shadow glass Fowler/Optimus idea! 😄 question does Optimus work for megaton or does he have his own team when he meets Fowler? Is Fowler also a bad guy? Do you have any headcannons of them or is just like coming up with an idea that you really like?(Don’t have to answer any of these if you don’t feel like it☺️)
My thought was that it's the usual Shattered Glass deal, meaning Autobots Bad and Decepticons Good™, but instead of everything in this universe just being the opposite, it's more of a difference outcome to the same beginning. Meaning somewhere along the way, the Autobots lost their way, Megatron didn't get high on Dark Energon and lose all his remaining braincells, etc.
I thought it would be fun if the humans stayed the same, with Fowler working with the Decepticon instead. He meets Optimus and just goes "I can fix him" for whatever reason and it works. Optimus at first puts up an "ew, human" act but, at his core, he's still deeply curious and decides to go along with the "we really shouldn't be friends but here we are" act until it's suddenly not an act anymore and oh, he likes the human.
Queue Fowler somehow trying to play both sides and going to incredible lengths to make sure nobody figures out that he's been going on dates with the literal guy he's supposed to be fighting.
#star spangled dads#for the record their relationship is very healthy and tbh in my version of sg i see optimus as more of like.#a tragic figure that's gone off the path and dug himself into a hole that he can't crawl out of so he just keeps on digging further#'fowler where the frag have you been. weve been trying to reach you for hours'#fowler who has spent half the day at the autobot base with no signal and chatting with the enemy: i uh. yes.#asks

He hummed, leaning into the femme's side, venting deeply as he reached to her helm. He placed his claws gingerly around the back of Shatter's helm, while a data cable jack shifted from his wrist, connecting to the back of Shatter's helm. Hardline connection secured, he looked to Charlie, and bunted gently, rumbling to help ease her anxiety.
"It's alright. I plan to only destroy the last few thousand cycle paths, no more than a decade or so. That'll put her before the incident with the quentessons... where her disdain for organics came from a jacked mock trial that got her dropped in acid. This might take a while..." With a kiss to Charlie's cheek, he held her, then decended into Shatter's processors.
His systems sounded as if powering down, though his spark would still beat strong, and his vents a soft constant. His wrist would whirl randomly, as he accessed Shatter's memory core.
Within Shatter's helm, time dialated , and images would pass him. It was disorienting, being in the mind of another, though he had to bypass her security protocols to begin the work he came here to do. His first obstacle was her firewall, which appeared as if a red energy shield protected the core itself from his intrusion. He had to make a surgical cut into the fire wall and digging slightly underneath it. He used the firewall as a means of entry, burrowing into her memory core to select which files he could destroy.
He searched for any instances pertaining to organics, and quietly sent those memories to the firewall, where he copied and deleted the memories. His next target were instances of B-127... She had thousands of these memory files. He wondered why she was so vehemently pursuant of the mech.. It would seem they had an extended history. He added them to the queue of items to be copied and deleted, then moved on to forge new pathways over the memories he was copying, erasing any hint that her mind may attempt to recover, even as a memory Flux.
He felt like he had been buried in her systems for hours, though he knew her core processor would run a deep scan right before she would wake up, to check for any errors amd report the errors to her HUD upon regaining consciousness. He was roughly halfway through the process when he detected a deep scan was initiated, which told him he was running out of time. He didn't want to be connected via hardline when she woke up, mechs tend to go crazy as their mind gets stretched to the breaking point. As the deep scan ran, approaching the edges of the firewall from the center, he had to resort to deleting on contact. He did manage to slip away, with mere nanoklicks to spare, then he opened his optics, pulling his servo away from Shatters helm.
Her frame sputtered as she began her reboot cycle, though it would be several minutes before she was fully conscious. He pulled himself away, giving Shatter space to right herself, though now he was solely focused on Charlie. "It's done, Charlie... She won't remember you, or B-127... Seems they had a colored history. Took some time to track down all the files, but rest assured, your Autobot friend is... Well, Safer."
His helm tilted, though he resumed his vigil over Shatter's unconcious frame. "In this state? It would be like.... Amnesia. Unrecoverable amnesia, depending how many memory core paths I destroy. Think of it like taking a magnet to a floppy disk. The data is still there, but corrupted. You'd need to reformat or relearn over it to use it again. Same idea here."
Not to mention she would no doubt have failsafes installed though he was a master hacker. "It would take time, but if I start it all now, then she'll wake up at a random point in her time. She's..." He hesitated to say this, as humans were logically backwards in the rules to interfacing, though.. To have Charlie's full trust, he had to tell her. "We, uh... Used to be frag partners for a while. I will warn you she has more dirt on me than I do, and that's saying something. Are you certain that's what you want to do? That won't negate that she's dangerous, though... The danger to you will be significantly lessened. She's not fond of organics."
