Trying to drown out the horrors that are happening in my country and praying to whatever God will listen that we make it out alive. The change is beginning under a false "golden age" that is nothing more than deciet to hide the sins of the powerful.

So many people are in danger because of gluttonous CEOs and the politicians who would rather feed their criminal greed rather than their people. Their corruption runs deep within the veins of our home.

Those who we seek out for healing leave nothing but debt and despair. Those we seek for protection would turn their backs and leave us to the slaughter. Those who we seek knowledge and wisdom from are bound in chains to spew the venom of propaganda into the ears of the young.

My country has become its worst nightmare as it hides behind the guise of light. The dream of freedom and prosperity is an illusion to hide the false prophets and silver fanged serpents that lurk from above.

There is no crawling out of this hell under the mask of heaven.

There is no liberty.

There is no justice.

There is only silence. A silence that I fear only heralds the warning cry of an impending storm.

I fear for the ones who will fall to this blight. A sacrilegious reality that many are aware of but powerless to stop.

I pray and hope that the chains of fear shatter into an inferno of rebellion so that we may cast out the ones who poison our waters, slaughter our friends, bind our families, and take our freedom.

Freedom is the right of all sentient beings. It is only a matter of time before the chains crumble.

But for now, we must brace the storm.
