Hey so I'm losing my mind and have a ton of BG3 fics I want to write but I haven't the foggiest where to start. SO please vote. Synopses under the cut!

No bald option I just need direction

Origin (Australis) - an introduction to my Tav, Australis, and her life prior to her stint on the Nautiloid. All the worst she's done, and the blood on her hand she's hoping to hide.

Quest : Save Mayrina - in the Hag's Lair, Australis makes a cruel decision and finds herself justifying it to a horrified Wyll, and reveals one of her secrets to him.

Not Alone Beyond The Grave - Astarion tries to feed on Australis, and it does *not* go well.

To See Yourself - Australis saves Arabella, and has an uncomfortable moment of reflection in her discussion with the girl and her parents.

A Moment of Respite - Austri sneaks away from the party with Wyll, and have a discussion about heroism.

Epilogue - What happens to Australis and co after the events of the game, following her search for a cure to Astsrion's vampirism and a way out of her pact, once and for all. 2 parts.

Companion Quest - Australis' companion quest, with alternate endings. Might fuck around and make it in one of those little choose your own adventure game makers, for the roleplay potential

MEROVINGIAN REGINAE | Bathildis Regina († 680)

Chief wife of Chlodovech II Rex, to whom she bore at least three sons, Chlothacar III Rex, Childerich II Rex and Theodorich III Rex. According to Fredegar, she was an anglo-saxon or a saxon slave, bought and trained by the Maior Palatii Erchinoald, who then offered her to Chlodovech II Rex.

Divine providence called her from lands across the sea and this precious and best pearl of God arrived here, having been sold at a low price. Very little is known on the next fifteen years of her life. As Chlodovech II’s wife, she may have lived between the cities of Sexonas (Soissons), Parisius (Paris) or Clippiacum (Clichy). And as his ancient slave, she maintained good relationships with Erchinoald, who favoured her in return. It is unknown if she was the only sexual partner of Chlodovech, but she seems to have been the only one to gave birth to sons able to succeed him.

After the suddent death of Chlodovech II in 657, she became Regent of Neustria for her son Chlothacar III Rex only, who was still a minor by then, without crowning any of her other sons. According to Fredegar, she was supported in her choice by Erchinoald, who wanted to avoid a dismembering of the regnum, and thus, the appointment of an other Maior Palatii to challenge him. 

“In extremis uero uitae annis amens effectus uitam caruit regnauitque annis XVIII. Franci quoque Chlotharium filium eius maiorem in regno statuunt cum prefata regina matre.

In the last years of his life, however, he lost his mind and passed away after he had reigned eighteen years. The Franks then place on the throne his eldest son, Clotaire, next to his mother, the queen mentioned above.”

She also formed around her a circle of importants and powerful councellors, like Bishop Chrodobert of Parisius, Bishop Audoenus of Rotomagus, or Bishop Eligius of Noviomagus. Yet, a year later, she had to face the death of her old protector, who was replaced by the decision of the nobiles by a certain Ebroinus. As a ruler, she was known for her religious foundations and her abolition of the slave trading of Christian people in the whole Gauls.

“Et illus commemorandum est, quia ad mercedis eius cumulum pertinet, quod pativos homines christianos ire prohibuit, datasque praeceptiones per singulas regiones, ut nullus in regno Francorum captivum hominem christianum penitus transmitteret. Sed magis et ipsa, dato prestio, captivos plurimos redimere precepit et liberos relaxavit et alios ex ipsis in monasteria intromisit et precipue de gente sua viros et puellas quam plures denutritas suas. And this must be called to mind, because it pertains to the increase of her reward, that she forbade Christian men to become captives, and she issued precepts  throughout each region [ordering] that absolutely no one ought to transfer a captive Christian in the kingdom of the Neustrians. And in addition she paid the price and ordered many captives to be bought back and she released them as free. Others of them, especially from her own race, men and also many girls, she sent into the monasteries as her own charges. However many she was able to attract, these she entrusted to the holy monasteries, and she ordered them to pray for her. She even often sent many generous gifts to Rome, to the basilicas of blessed Peter and Paul and to the Roman poor.”

She also intervened in Austrasia, where a coup d’etat had occured a year before in the following of the death of her brother-in-law, Sigebert III Rex: although it remains difficult to understand what truly happened by then, it may have been due to a violent competition between two alleged regents, Himnechildis Regina, mother of Dagobert II, and the Maior Palatii Grimoald, tutor of Childebert III, a competition which led to the victory of the last over the first.

However, fearing the threat of the new masters of the austrasian kingdom, Bathildis and Ebroinus sent troops to Mettis (Metz), leading to the death of Grimoald and the overthrowing of the young Childebert III. After that, she installed her second son Childerich II Rex as rex over Austrasia, in 662, under the regency of his aunt, Himnechildis Regina.

“[...] et regno quidem Francorum in pace consistenti. Tunc etenim nuper et Austrasii pacifico ordine, ordinante domna Blathilde, per consilium quidem seniorum receperunt Childericum, filium eius, in regem Austri [...].

And, indeed, the kingdom of the Franks was maintained in peace. Then indeed, a little while ago, the Austrasians peacefully received her son Childeric as king in Austrasia by the arrangement of Lady Balthild and, indeed, through the advice of the great magnates.”

C. 664, as her son Chlothacar became a major, she officially retired herself of her rank of regent and also of the public life in the monastery of Cala (Chelles). Even if some scholars claims till this day that she was forced to do it by the villainous Ebroinus, probably because of a factions clash, it is rather the application of a social norm for royal widows as the sources speak of a sort of aristocratic procession, already observed for Fredegund Regina in 584. 

“Erat enim eius sancta devotio, ut in monasterio, quem prediximus, religiosarum foeminarum, hoc est in Kala, quam ipsa edificavit, conversare deberet. Nam et Franci pro eius amore hoc maxime dilatabant nec fieri permittebant [...]. Deductaque ab aliquibus senioribus, venit ad praefatum monasterium suum Kala, ibique ab ipsis sanctis puellis, ut decebat, honorifice et satis amabiliter in sancta congregatione recepta est.

It was, however, her holy vow that she ought to dwell  in the monastery of religious women which we mentioned above, that is, at Chelles, which she herself built. But the Neustrians, for love of her, delayed in this especially [...]. And, having been escorted by certain noblemen, she came to her above-mentioned monastery at Chelles, and there, as is fitting, she was honourably and very lovingly received into the holy congregation by the holy maidens.”

After that moment, Bathildis apparently did not intervene in politics anymore, even during the turmoil of events which led the end of her regency: the death of Chlothacar c. 666, the aristocratic conspiracy against Ebroinus in 673, or the assassination of Childerich in 675. She died as a saint in 680, shortly after her goddaughter, who had followed her in her retirement, during the reign of her third son, Theodorich III Rex, and was buried in the church Holy-Cross of Cala.

“Et erat aliqua quidem tunc infantula, sua filiola, quam voluit, ut secum iret, quae et ipsa subito e corpore exiit et eam ad tumulum pracessit. Tunc consignans se confidenter, et pios oculos ac santcis manibus ad caelum erectis, sancta illa anima a corporis vinculo in pace soluta est [...].

There was at that time a certain child, her goddaughter, whom she wished to go with her, and she [the child] suddenly went out from her body and preceded her to the grave. Then, making the sign of the cross in faith, and with her faithful eyes and holy hands raised toward heaven, her holy soul was loosed from the chain of her body in peace. [...].”

Some of her possessions have been kept in the actual Chelles Abbey, such as an ornate chemise and a lock of hair which, if it is really one of her own hair, shows to us that she was actually a strawberry blonde and, above all, a dyed strawberry blonde as it has been demonstrated that they are traces of dye coloration on it.

Svilland is a Norse Mythology inspired D&D 5E campaign setting; it is designed to bring the valour, brutality and drama from Norse tales to your roleplaying games. The game is compatible with 5E, but its theme and dynamics are very different than your usual high fantasy game. Sure, there is magic in this realm, a plenty of it even. Yet, it is given in a way that reflects omens, spirits, runes and Norse deities with their true forms in the mythology. In Svilland you will learn the true meaning of blood, magic, raids, and wrath of the gods.

Before the last three ages of northern folks, Svilland was unknown. However, that three ages have changed the whole world and its people. They were forced to settle in a new land that is surrounded by seas, mountains and Vanir lands.

It all began with the freezing of northern shores and poor harvest from farms during the first era, earlier omens of the incoming Black Winter, and Ragnarok. Then, an ice giant (jotunn) named Odd appeared, he became a cruel tyrant of northern folks. Yet, was impaled by his own half-giant brother, who was gifted with a spear from the god Balder, forged by dvergrs.

Deep within the North Mountains, Odd was imprisoned with powerful runes and large chains. However, fate was cruel and when Balder fell into Helheim by the deeds of Odin’s brother Loki, the spear started to lose its power.

                                                   The Tower

In the beginning of second era, The High Council of seidr was assembled to prevent the Black Winter from gaining more power. In order to do that, Sami seidrs were settled down to the towers of the Ymir’s Lash. And there were two kingdoms who ruled over the mainland: Lands of the Bear King and Kingdom of Eastern Horn. Samis, however, had neither a kingdom nor an established rulership during this era, since they preferred to live in their traditional ways, following the footsteps of their ancestors.

Because of its power weakening, Balder’s spear could no longer contain the might of Odd. The jotunn finally woke up, and power of the Black Winter became even greater and it kept getting stronger and stronger. The High Council of seidr could not manage to contain influence of both Odd and the Black Winter at bay, away from the south.

The Bear King started to think that they could stop the Black Winter only if they sacrifice The High Council of seidr to the gods. In this belief, he marched with his soldiers one night, and sacrificed all of the High Seidr. So began the great conflict; with the seeds of hostility and discord sewn between the Bear King and Eastern Horn.

The third age, which is the age the campaign setting takes place, was started with a war between Eastern Horn and the Bear King. This war divided the land - which was already politically unstable - into three parts: Green Lights of the East, the Nionaem, and the Alsvartr.

Races: Svilland contains different races within all regions. There are 3 main regions and 6 new races. Austris who live in the Green Light of the East Empire, vestris still living in old ways and struggling with the wild, and mithals who are stuck in a conflict between of two rulers of their kingdom. An ancient race who endured many events, Samis. Outcast half-jotunns, and the best craftsmen of the nine realms, dvergrs.

Class Options: We wrote 38 new archetypes including 14 new domains. You can be a raging Svinfylking (Boar-Skirt) , charging his enemies with a mighty axe or be the hand of Odin as a Sacrifice gothi (the cleric) and spread his word. Go on a sacred hunt of Ullr, God of Hunt, as an Ullr ranger and lure your prey to your lair. Become a master of runes with the new runewalker class. Connect with spirits and channel their powers with the seidr.

                                                The Gothi

Domains: Our domains are designed to reflect the harshness of Norse deities. Their features will make you feel like a real gothi, the respected and feared Norse cleric. Some of the domains have additional dynamics that the canon 5E does not normally have. You will be able to accumulate sacrificial points in Sacrifice domain or Aegir’s Gold in Oceanic domain and use them to gain additional effects with your features.

                                          Gods of Svilland

Cults and Organizations: There are many cults in Svilland and some of them reflect quite opposite sides of a same deity. For example, there are worshippers of Balder who think he is good, and other worshippers of him who think he is evil. This sort of uncertainty and vagueness in belief is unique to Svilland as a D&D campaign setting, and it is a more realistic representation of religion.

Feats: 5 new feats inspired by the real Nordic culture like Lausatök Glima, a hand to hand combat style. With Shield Stance feat you can use your shield like a true viking and give no opportunity. If destroying draugrs is your thing you can enhance your experience with Draugr Slayer feat.

                                             The Barbarian

Items & Equipment: With more than 130 new magical items authentic to Svilland, our setting offers you more variety in ways to slay your enemies and more excitement for looting their corpses. Many items have their own history and lore, and suits the overall Norse theme of the campaign.

Monsters: Svilland has many monsters dwelling within wilderness and ruins. Many of them jump right out of myths and folklores of ancient Norse, designed to fit the theme of the realm and gaming style of 5E. You will even be able to run campaigns based solely on monsters provided in our setting if you wish so.

Geography: Svilland is a vast geography that contains, cities, town, villages and ruins with various climate conditions and geographical features. You could find yourself in a ghost seidr town full of monsters lurking in shadows, big capitals with stone walls, vanir outposts, frozen mountain peaks and more.

The whole geography is divided into three kingdoms; Green Lights of the East, Nionaem, and Alsvartr. Each of them has their own way of life, their cultures differ as well as occupations, social class structures, wares, most worshipped deities, and creatures.

Enchantment has been open about a week, and the theme is rapunzel. This event is pretty cool, though I feel like I might not've done it justice, with my rush with today, and some things were hard to unbox or figure out. Hopefully I did decent though.... "My hubby's used-but-still-nice truck gets the majority of the abuse. My Acura SUV cleans up OK for driving around buyers but has tons of dirt and tears and dents here and there (I'm gonna drive it until it dies, which should be never), and then the 'fun car' is our Audi A5. "It's a nice mix," she added. "I just grab the keys to whichever one fits based on how my day looks."
