August Page, 25, was born and raised in the small town of Honey Grove, Texas, a rural spot known for its quiet charm. She grew up in a tight-knit, family-oriented household with her parents, June Page, 55, and Jospeh Page, 57, who ran a small hobby farm with pigs, chickens, ducks, and goats. August is the second youngest of four children, with two older brothers, Matthew, 30, and Julian, 28, and a younger sister, April, 22.

August's childhood was spent in wide-open fields, helping her family with their animals and soaking up the simplicity of small-town life. In high school, she was the quintessential popular cheerleader, known for her bubbly personality, warmth, and ability to make friends with everyone. She was beloved in her tight-knit community, with her charm and friendliness earning her a reputation as the girl who could always cheer anyone up. Her small-town fame didn’t prepare her for the culture shock she experienced when she moved to Austin, Texas for college.

The bustling city was a stark contrast to the sleepy town she grew up in. She was wide-eyed and fascinated by the energy of the city but also overwhelmed at times by how fast-paced life could be. August majored in business at the University of Texas at Austin, where, during her freshman year, she met her roommate, Emily “Em” Saunders, 25, and the two became inseparable. Em, who was much more of a city girl, helped guide August through the chaos of college life.

After graduating, August and Em decided to combine their skills and interests to start a bachelor and bachelorette party planning business. They tapped into Austin’s thriving party scene, specializing in curated experiences for people looking to celebrate in style. August's natural charm, organization skills, and creativity made her a hit with clients, and the business took off.

Despite her business acumen, August remains a bit naïve, always assuming the best of everyone. She’s the kind of person who trusts easily and loves quickly, which has led her to fall head over heels in love more times than she can count. August started dating at 14 and has never really been single since. She’s a serial dater, jumping from one relationship to the next, often leaving her heart shattered when things inevitably end. Her love for rom-coms has painted an idealistic view of love in her mind, and though she knows she gets hurt too easily, she can’t help but throw herself into every new romance with all her heart.

August's personality is bubbly, kind, and optimistic. She’s the type of person who will drop everything to help a friend, and she lights up any room she walks into. Despite her outward confidence and charm, she has a tendency to struggle with breakups, taking a long time to recover emotionally. Her brothers, especially Tanner, often tease her about her inability to stay single, but they’re also fiercely protective of their little sister.

In her free time, August loves checking out new restaurants and breweries in town, indulging in self-care with face masks and spa days, and spending time outdoors. She often visits her parents’ farm to reconnect with nature and help out with the animals. August also enjoys cooking, especially Southern comfort food, and has a small obsession with collecting cute, quirky trinkets from thrift stores, estate sales, consignment shops and parties she plans.

thinking about being domestic. <3

thinking about doing something as simple as the laundry, talking to one another as the both of you fold the clothes. the tv plays softly in the background, nothing more than background noise to fill the silences between your words.

thinking about taking turns doing the dishes—neither of you really enjoy doing them, but you split the work. some days are cheat days, but they alwats get done eventually. on bad days you do them together, one drying and putting away, the other washing them.

thinking about cleaning the house together. you start by clearing out the fridge, asking him how long ago the two of you ordered the pizza that was tucked into the top shelf, only for him to not remember, either. you clean off the counters and the table, going through the mail, cleaning the bathroom. it's a team effort to keep the place clean.

think about going to the grocery store. the two of you having playful arguments over what to get, which cereals are better, and who will cook what. he might have a recipe he found that sounds good, and so you two find all of the ingredients for it. the both of you wonder what you need refills on—laundry or dish soup, toothpaste, hand soap, etc.
